After an hour, we found ours and made our way towards what used to be rental car check in. Found there was now a shuttle bus system to get to rental counters, but waited in line outside with our three bags for 30+ minutes just to get on the shuttle. After a 15-minute ride, we finally arrived at the old rental check in/garage area. Bottom line, it took over two hours from arrival to finally being able to leave the airport."

Again I was told on the phone to wait until 6pm to rebook at counter. Come 6pm at the counter, no seats was available. Copa airlines would not talk to us and tried to turf it on Alaska. But Copa owned the ticket. Alaska would not help either when we arrived to LAX. It is now 9pm and I am on the phone with an Alaska agent who is wonderful and helping us getting to Panama to celebrate our father and father in law."

The so-called shuttle to the departure terminals, which are entire kilometers away, was to arrive in like half an hour. HALF AN HOUR. Who has this time to spare?? The alternative to the shuttle is paying a taxi that charges a hefty fare--and God help you if you don't have cash. The departures terminal was swamped and only thru begging assistance and line cuts did I make my connection...and then only by the skin of my teeth. It was a complete nightmare."

After taxiing, the pilot informed us of withheld information, that ATC would delay our departure for ~40 minutes, but we could STILL try to make it up in the air. This was a bold faced lie. It was finally 9:52pm before we even took off from SFO. While idling, the cabin started to reek of jet fuel, and people started coughing and sneezing. Upon landing at LAX at 10:46pm, we were told that there was no gate for us, and that we would have to wait for an amount of time that kept changing every time there was an announcement. The toxic jet fumes started to permeate the cabin again, and people started coughing and sneezing in response. Ultimately it is 11:21pm by the time we reached our gate. At this point, the jetway was broken/failed to open, but despite this, the air conditioning was switched off and pax crowd the aisles without direction. Finally we managed to escape at 11:31pm."

When it was my turn, she said she was closed, yet she helped the joy behind me for over an hour. I know this because I got In the generic questions line and stood there for an hour watching the woman who was "closed" help this guy. When I was FINALLY able to talk to someone, the only thing he told me was to walk fast. That was well worth the 2 hour wait. I will never fly with American again."

Cons: "A United supervisor at the Leon terminal informed me that my 'smart' luggage was not allowed. I have traveled with it all over the world for the past 2 years, including to Leon in a United flight 2 days prior. I have also disabled the battery with a clearly marked OFF switch inside and never actually use it. However the memo I was shown was unambiguous and logic was not an option. So I asked for a screwdriver to remove the battery, The supervisor said no and proceed to treat me as a criminal. After one of the staff lent me tools and I removed the battery the supervisor asked for my name but off we went to board our flight. Before boarding however, my wife and I were called in for a 'random' security inspection. The experience was very unpleasant. It was discrimination and retaliation by someone abusing their authority. Very dissapointed on the United staff and their customer service."

Got there at 10:06.. the counter lady was very rude and instead of help me get to another flight or show me other options, she told me the doors was closed and that it was totally my fault I lost my flight since my prior flight got there early.. doors should be hold ten minutes after the end of the bording time. she sent me to the main customer counter.."

Cons: "The crew started forcing people in my group (group 4) to check their carry ons, but when they boarded group 5, they let lots of people on with carry ons. There was plenty of space even after everyone was done. Very frustrating experience."

It seemed they knew the that this flight would not take off because they sent my bags ahead on the earlier flight but left me waiting for 5 hours. before the cancellation. This was not a Kayak issue but a United"
Cons: "For some reason, the crew was not letting anyone bring their carry-on bags onto the plane, but there was clearly enough space in the overhead bins. If there was an issue with putting stuff in the overhead bins, they should have explained why we couldn't bring our belongings with us instead of yelling at people for trying to bring stuff on the plane that had plenty of space. I saw 4 or 5 bins that were completely empty and that was in the back of the plane I don't know what it looked like closer to the cockpit. Either way, the gate crew was very rude to everyone and it was very unpleasant to experience. Thank you for taking the time to review my feedback."

Please offer a Credit card without the $95.00 annual fee. I could become a regular."

No free WiFi for T-Mobile in flight texting, standing in line while waiting to board after walking all day...the boarding took ages and people kept cutting (first class, disabled?)...it'd be nice if the crew acknowledged why people were taken out of order like "okay, first class you're all set!" Or "thank you for your service" so we knew it wasn't 20 people randomly jumping the line."
