They cancelled my flight from San Diego to DFW and then provided NO help in rebooking. I tried rebooking via app but system kept said it’s busy and try again. I tried calling and am still on list for a call back. Ultimately I had to pay $600 to get a flight back on a different carrier because I needed to get to work on Monday. Then today I noticed they rebooked me on a flight for a completely different day. The cancellation was bad enough then the lack of communication unacceptable. They should refund me the $600 for the flight ticket I had to buy.
Asking the airline not to charge extra fees to the passenger just because it want a seat. Thank you!

Cons: "The boarding was a nightmare. D gates at SeaTac is my least favorite since you need to be shuttled by bus to the play. At that point, your elite or first class status is thrown out the window since it's a free for all to get on board as they pack you in the bus like sardines. It delayed the departure by 30 mins. Also, Alaska should look at getting entertainment sets in the back of the headrests."

Pros: "This was first Alaska airlines trip and I want to do more! I showed up at the Seattle airport and tried to use one of the many conveniently placed kiosks. I couldn't find my trip, BECAUSE I HAD BOOKED FOR THE WRONG DAY!. This could have been very stressful but an attendant near the (short) line asked me if needed help and immediately redirected me to the VIP line. There, I found another very short line, and smiling, enthusiastic staff. The young woman who helped me got my info, and walked away to get the problem solved with a supervisor. She returned a short time later, my boarding pass in hand, upgraded me to Premium seating and TSA pre check -- without me even asking! On the plane, I mostly slept, but when I woke up I found the attendant had left me my boxes snack which was a mix of nuts and dried fruit in a fancy package. The seats seemed more comfortable than they were in recent trips on United and Southwest. There were plugs everywhere for phone and device charging. There was free wifi(!!). And there were devices available for borrowing. There was even a website for free movie streaming. In a time when most other airlines have sour faced (need to retire!) attendants (Southwest an exception), and EVERYTHING is a la Carte pricing, it is so nice to fly with a company that tries to make passengers happy and comfortable. Flight delayed out of MCO cost me my connecting flight to PDX. Held up in a hotel in Phoenix…
We arrived early, then sat on the runway for almost an hr. I then missed my connecting flight.
The flight itself was good. Unfortunately I somehow found myself surrounded by 2 rows of families with small children. I had about all of the seat kicking and yelling that I could take for 3ish hours straight. Kinda wish the staff could have intervened somehow.

Cons: "I noticed there was a disagreement/issue between a passenger and the aircrew, but it was handled quickly when the passenger just left. I understand there are some issues sometimes, but I noticed attitude from three of the flight attendants during the flight. There were three teens in the back that kept rambling about how all planes have bombs, everyone there was turbulence we could go into a spiral, the plane engines could blow up, etc. It was clearly making passengers uncomfortable because they kept turning around and one lady even yelled at them. I'm honestly shocked the flight crew never said anything to them. I wasn't too worried, except that they ruined any chance to get some rest."

This does not seem very considerate of our health during a Pandemic especially with their messaging about social distancing. They also did a very poor job of keeping people patient in the deplaning process. They should have better messaging and a very non threatening way of encouraging passengers to be patient and courteous. Maybe they good offer each passenger a choice some type of goodie like a mint or a chocolate that says "please enjoy this while you wait for others to exit the plane"."
Cons: "Several people got on the flight with no face mask on. The flight was completely packed, there was no distancing at all. The boarding process required me to walk past everyone as my chair was in the back and I was last group to board (unlike other airlines that have switched to back to front boarding to reduce people coming in contact with each other) As I walked down the PACKED plane mot people had masks on incorrectly (hanging off one ear, down around their chin, nose out, etc.) some people had no mask at all and the flight attendants did nothing. It seems like they were doing nothing to keep passengers safe from COVID-19 spread. Compared to Delta, American Airlines was terrifying to fly, I find not feel safe at all."

There were only two flight attendants on the flight and, aside from the drink service, no one ever came to the back of the plane so I could ask the question. I could have used the call button but I think that should be saved for emergencies. I think the information on how to access the inflight entertainment should be in every seat pocket"
Cons: "I always have preferred American Airlines but they seem to have constant problems with the aircraft these days. This causes delays and missed connections. This in turn causes no breakfast or lunch or dinner opportunities. I travel with snacks in my bag at all times now just in case so I won’t get sick for lack of nourishment or water! This last flight I missed my connection altogether and had to take a shuttle home, then catch a ride back to the airport to pick up my luggage and then get my car to drive home. It was 4 hours past my expected time home."
Pros: "The trip started off poorly with a day delay and rebooking hotel and car at final destination. Not to mention our final destination is San Antonio not Phoenix. We were not rebooked for a flight from PHX to SAT. But after a few hours we were finally booked. We didn’t really appreciate the 7 hour layover at 0100 in the morning and nowhere to get a meal or even coffee. However, the flight had the same crew from the night prior and they were excellent. The flight was open so we were able to get more leg room, less waiting time for the bathroom, and pretty much one on one service from our flight attendants. With all the struggle in the beginning, this particular flight was actually the best flight I have been on."
Cons: "We were ok with the hotel and meal vouchers however, again, the only part of our itinerary looked at was the first flight, not the second into SAT. Had we not questioned the agent, we would have been stuck in PHX with no room, no car, and if we eventually would have gotten a flight, our reservations for car and hotel in SAT would have been cancelled and I would have been out $1700. I already lost money but it could have been worse. Basically, I am paying for a car and room that I am not currently in. Reimbursement for that would have been nice. Either way we will still travel using the travel service and this particular airline in the future."

Then they tried to rush us on so that everyone was standing on the HOT jetway for 10 min waiting to get on the plane. Plane didn't take off til 5:35 PM. Over all on this trip I had three flights that were delayed. I'll think twice before taking American Air again."

This was all totaled 2.5 hours on the Tarmac. Finally, some 5 hours late we departed Miami in a different plane. Upon arrival in Phoenix, the captain wearily announced that there was no ground crew awaiting us, so we had to wait some time on the tarmac there to disembark. Never before had I heard a airline captain encourage the passengers to write a letter of complaint to his employer."

Cons: "I arrived at the airport and had already checked in and had m boarding passes. For some reason they could not find me when I went to check my bag. After 30 minutes they saw that my seat assignment had been changed and that is why my boarding passes that I had printed at home did not match what their computer showed. I booked this reservation in May and had a seat chosen fairly toward the front. I am 73 years old and the closer to the front I can be helps. When I finally got on the plane to my surprise my seat was the very last seat on the plane across from the restroom. People continued to leave the door open after using the restroom so had to get up and continue to close the door or look at the restroom the whole flight. There was never any explanation as to why they did this. As a result, being lst off the plane, I almost missed my connection as I had to go two terminals over for my connection. At my age I cannot run so I arrived as the last people were getting on the plane. I will never fly American Airlines again."

They sat there and watched me for an hour not telling me I could not use cash to check in my luggage at the gate after they told me it was double the amount to check it in at the gate. The sight u use on the boarding pass u download on the phone is not clear. It says baggage fee +$25.00. I thought it was 25.00 till the women in Phoenix showed me the + sign. She said “it is confusing”. I did not buy the ticket because it was for an unexpected funeral of my sister. My other sister did so I didn’t see all the stuff from Travelocity. After telling me it would be $50.00 the check in male and female at the gate saw me sitting there for an hour and never told me I couldn’t pay cash. By the time it was boarding time if a nice woman did not offer to use her credit card and I have her the $50 cash I would have missed my flight. The manager at the gate in Portland even told me I would miss my flight. The two check in staff at the gate said “well we didn’t know you only had cash” and they weren’t even concerned that I was going to miss my flight. It would of been nice of them to tell me this when I sat there for an hour after they told me They we’re doubling the price. I would of had time to go back through security, only pay $25.00 and the other nice passenger would have not had to use her credit card. Very rude and poor service especially after a sad occasion of burying your sister!"

Cons: "There is not enough space to list everything. I paid $800 for a normally $300 flight, then paid an extra $75 for the ability to board early so I could store my very small roller carry-on. The in-bound flight was 2 hours late and even though I could track that easily, and assumed our flight would also be two hours late, the AA website insisted the outbound flight would be on time. So like everyone else, I went to the airport. And it wasn't until just before the original departure time that the update was indicated. Really?? If I knew the flight was going to be two hours late,that means AA knew, and didn't care enough about their passengers to advise them. Then when we boarded, my bag was taken away for gate check because the flight did not allow roller bags. After I paid extra. How can AA not advise you when you book your flight that roller bags would not be allowed?? Talk about a money-grab. I unfortunately have a return ticket and am not wealthy enough to throw it away and book on another airline, but I would if I could. I will never fly AA again and I will share my story far and wide."

The food is was gone so quickly that by the time they got to us, they were out of everything. Oh did I mention we also had 3 children ages 2, 7, and 9. Oh yes and the entertainment? Small screens mounted on the ceiling of the plane. How about updating your equipment?? Plane was old. No USB to charge your phone and stream from their App. Terrible. We own a 2nd home in Maui and travel there twice per year. Looking at other options."

I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars with you over the years, but this was a bucker of water in the face. I'm sure I'll fly with you again, but any sort of good will I held for AA is gone."

While struck on the second leg and speaking with AA customer service about the reschedule I was told that they didn't have the ability to rectify the error because they no longer had control of my ticket and that I had to take into consideration that three was an event in San Antonio that caused delays network wide that added tio the initial issue... HOGWASH! 1) it was another AA issue where an AA aircraft drive of the runway while I was in flight on the first errant leg. 2) if they had just been straight from the outset, I wouldn't have been delayed. I will never fly AA AGAIN!"

Which resulted in me being called to the desk at the gate about 30 minutes prior to boarding and being told I screwed up checking my bag when I was just following the instructions given to me. Was then told I had to leave the secure area of the airport, go back to the front to check my bag all within 30 minutes of boarding. when I returned thru the TSA checkpoint they were rude, obviously, but more importantly the flight was boarding early. So you could've 1. told me what the actual procedure is for checking my bag instead of telling me "just leave it by the green lit up check mark then 2. told me at the gate that not only do i need to go fix your mistakes for you but that youd also board my flight early thereby putting me in jeopardy of missing my flight. all i got was a very insincere apology when I complained up front and at the gate about the airline's screw up. i get that you're all human like me and make mistakes but the customer is always right. there was a time in this country when customer appreciation and service were important standards and qualities businesses thrived on. Don't know what happened to those days... Also i should not need to be a first class passenger to get a meal during a flight. whatever happened to meals for everyone? you (all airlines in the US) charge way too much money and provide poor service compared to pre-9-11 days. I dont see how one event can justify the loss in service but the increase in ticket price. you should all get back to what flying should be about: fun and time saving."

No... ok you're fine" then we were notified the bathrooms in the middle of the plane were out of order and we could only use the bathrooms at the rear of the plane. There was no WiFi, and the audio system for the on board movies wasn't working. The flight attendants were only giving out cups of beverages and not the full can, which isnt a big deal but still looks bad on the airline considering everywhere flight with American has handed out full cans of soda. The perception was American dropped the ball on the his plane, and just didn't care to do the necessary maintenance. For the his head priced paid for the his hehe see tickets I would've expected better from a reputable airline. Needless to say we were a little disappointed."

Cons: "I called American Airlines as ssoon as I book my trip to set up and make sure my small dog could fly with me. They neglected to inform me their partner, jetstar, does not fly animals. My luggage did not arrive with me. Both of my suitcases were mangled and broken. Items in my suitcases were shattered and crushed even though they were well packed and protected. We got stuck on the terminal in MSP and missed our connecting flight. When we finally arrived the systems were down and could not get new flights or hotels. We were told we could not get hotels and had to argue for an hour. Even though it was a maintenance issue. I arrived a day late and had to take extra leave. The plane from LAX to Tokyo was horrific. I booked a window seat, was stuck in the very middle. There was no way to charge outlets devices. The screen did not work. And my new luggage was also damaged with even more items destroyed."

Cons: "This was a horrible travel experience, the worst I have ever known. My uncle had died, so I had to search for the soonest and most economical flight in order to attend the funeral. Traveling with me was my aunt (his ex wife) and my cousin (his only daughter). Our initial flight was delayed 'due to mechanical issues' and they said we weren't going to make our connection in Phoenix. So they had to reroute the whole trip, which took about half an hour because all of the flights were full. So instead of flying from LGB - PHX - CLT - CAE and arriving Saturday night, we ended up departing from LAX (which we specifically were trying to avoid) almost 9 hours later. From there to DEN - CLT - GSP arriving Sunday morning. Because of this I had to contact the hotel and let them know that we weren't going to check-in until the next day, but I still ended up having to pay for Saturday night. Then, I had to cancel the rental car and make a new reservation to pick it up at GSP and return at CAE since the hotel was close to CAE, plus the return flight was through CAE. Also, wifi was an additional cost (which we didn't use because of this), the snacks were pitiful, and the seats were very narrow and uncomfortable. I have flown with JetBlue in the past, but on this occasion, last minute flights to South Carolina were prohibitively expensive. That being said, if I had known how bad the experience with American was going to be, I would have gladly paid literally double the price for the JetBlue tickets. And in the future, I will be flying exclusively with JetBlue no matter what the cost."

And he told us it would take 10 minutes. It took an hour and a half!!!!!!!It completely derailed my connection flight. I missed it and was rescheduled, but wasn't told anything. I get to my new connection flight - that wasn't leaving for another 2 hours mind you - and ask the lady about my bag, because I was nervous it wouldn't get there with the flight change. Her response - "Well, they knew where you were going, right?""

We kept getting pushed back. I am not certain if it was due to weather (in another area) or required flight crew rest, both of which I would understand. There was no reason posted that I saw. I have a 10 yo son who has Autism and should be in bed no later than 10 pm, preferably 9 pm. I appreciate all that Allegiant does for the military, and therefore, will continue to fly on your airline. I will NOT, however, take any more evening flights as most of the ones I've flown on have either been delayed or altogether cancelled. Again, I truly appreciate your recognition of retired and active duty military. 8/10 is a B and can be improved upon with more clarevoyance and keeping on-time flights."

And i mean SURROUNDED. That cabin is SO tight! So tight in fact the seats are a blow mold plastic with roughly 1.5" of foam and fabric. Think go-cart bucket seat with some foam rubber and pleather. Then there's luggage... My carry on bag (that I've used for 15yrs) was too big for the jig at the counter so got to check it for an additional $10 (above the $30 i had to pay to bring it) and they charged me $40 for my original check bag. The hitch is that they only allow 40lbs ($1/lb) for that check bag when the rest of the industry says 50lbs is the norm. Oops, gotta pay for that too! And wait for it... sodas are $2 in flight!"

You can make no changes to your seating this is a 40,000lb aircraft with a 300,000lb lift capacity and it can't handle you sitting next to your girlfriend it would compromise the avionics and we would all surely die. Then why on the app did it show open seats? Seats of course for a price! Not by section like a normal airline ohhh noo a price that was completely different for every single seat as if the seats were in competition with each other in some high altitude economy that makes far less sense at sea level.The helpful response to this inquiry was 'oh well that was then' I am looking at it right now. I don't know what to tell you.. What's next?! A surprise $50 charge per carry-on! Unless you read the small print on one of their emails that is filled with advertisements they make it look like another advertisement, I'm going to go out on a limb and say INTENTIONALLY as it is never mentioned on: (The check-in email, the purchase confirmation email, not mentioned by the ticket counter, not anywhere on the app, not written anywhere on the electronic ticket despite them announcing otherwise) They instead tell you right as you are boarding the plane and have absolutely no choice in the matter and have done this innumerable amount of times as the flight attendant was well versed in de-escalation protocol and a security guard was positioned an arms length away as she deftly charges your card on file... I have run out of characters for this post I can only assume this comment section is run by Allegiant Airlines.."

They came around with snacks so many times they might as well have served a meal. They had a pretty limited selection of TV shows/movies compared to other airlines, and it played their COVID safety ads every. single. time. you started a new episode or show, even if you got disconnected partway through. I also had issues with the charger in my seat - it was loose and my phone would be charging on and off. However, it was a well-priced flight, comfortable, and staff was nice. No complaints on getting to my destination on time!

But over all she was happy with the in-flight entertainment and I was pleased with the amount of baggage allowed at no extra fee."

The in-flight entertainment console was broken and was unusable during the flight. It would work for 5 minutes then glitch and the screen would flash until you stowed it away and waited 10 minutes to try again."

There's no disclaimer saying wifi does not work over the sea which was thru almost the entire flight. When you could finally connect to it, it wouldn't load. Most airplanes have an entertainment system in the back of the seat even for less than 3 hour flights but not on this one. Very disappointing."

Flight crew were polite, but some clearly didn't want to be there. This is the first flight I've ever been on where I was in tears from pain, and i felt like i couldnt ask for water or even the wheelchair I needed after the flight."

The narrowness of the seat and closeness of the rows makes it hard to be comfortable. After being treated to two meals on the international flight, one small two-inch bag of snack mix is almost pointless."

Finally, I arrived for my flight from San Luis Obispo an hour and 45 minutes early and stood in line to check my small bag for the first 45 minutes. At which point the desk agent made the announcement she would no longer take bags. Luckily my bag was small enough to be considered a carry on so I just went to security. I don't know what people with large bags behind me did? then it takes another 45 mins to get through security at which point they see my 5 inch knife on X-ray machine. Which I packed 3 days earlier when I planned to check my bag. Lost the knife, fine, my fault, goodbye favorite pocket knife. but now I am randomly selected for explosives LOL by TSA. I get to the gate the gate agent scans a ticket for the person infront of me. I step up and the same gate agent puts her hand over the scanner and says sorry it is late!? There were 6 other people behind me and this is a 22 person plane. So I still not upset walk back out of the security area because TSA closes the area in between flights and call United. They get me on the next flight out and rescheduled my following flight only a 3 hour wait. An hour goes by and the first desk agent, they have been holding the first flight because enough people aren't onboard. SLB is a joke."

Then tried to checkin online 24 hours prior and you can't since you are not checking baggage. Got to airport to find that can't checkin except at counter as you need a UAL employee to scan their I'd during process to get boarding pass. Waited for employee and then she was rude about it. Again reminded me I can't bring anything else onboard or will cost me extra at gate. If UAL wants to offer this they need to be more customer friendly. I was far from impressed for the inconvenience I experienced being s longtime UAL Frequent Flier."

I saw 4 or 5 bins that were completely empty and that was in the back of the plane I don't know what it looked like closer to the cockpit. Pros: "Barb M. was at the front desk at the United Lounge. She is an incredibly kind human being. I was very sick and this flight was delayed so it was going to cause me to miss my connecting flight overseas. She tried all that she could to rebook me on a different flight but the problem was the destination's air traffic control, not the airplane, so it wasn't going to fix the problem. My flight was held from disembarking in order for the forms to be delivered upon landing, then distibuted to a plane full of.passengers pulling out carry-ons while asking to borrow ballpoint pens to fill out the forms before de-planing. I've been a Hawaii Island resident for 36 years and a State employee for 25 years. The effort required to input and process this data had better be rewarding for the state population and not another State 'make-work' chokehold on the travel industry. I realize the danger of invasive species in the state but does it really require a Completed form for Every passenger on Every flight to make a difference? Airline employees took their task Very seriously, BTW. Why?"

We were boarded and left to sit for a long time then the pilot came on saying the mechanic needed more time to look at the tire which might need to be changed. After another 15-20 min sitting, pilot comes on and says we need to get off the plane so the maintenance could be done. Ok I'd rather fly safe than be on time but really? Why doesn't this airline have enough planes that the maintenance can be done when the plane isn't scheduled to fly? So many people missed connections and we ended up getting home so much later than we had expected! Honestly I would rather the airline have emailed saying flight delayed 3 hours so I could have had more time in SF rather than sitting in an airport eating a mediocre airport meal for dinner. They had to have known the tire was almost to the point of changing right? I mean I would hope it's checked each flight. Just all together inconvenient. Like they book all theses flights to make money and yet if they had fewer but didn't make anyone waste the day or night at the airport so they could perform routine maintenance it may be worth an extra few bucks in my book. My time is valuable too, and I don't think I was the only one on the flight who thought so. Maybe United doesn't value anyone else's time other than theirs. Guess this is why we have several airlines to choose from and we will not likely fly United again."
Cons: "The terminal number on my ticket was wrong and when me and some other customers asked the flight lady what was going on she was of very little help. Not only that but she was making a personal phone call. So I had to rush to the other end and then just to find out that they didn't have enough room to put my carry on so I had to place it enbetween my legs which made for an even more uncomfortable flight. Also one of the flight attendant was particularly rude and kept saying she had to do her job in a very rude tone to the point were an older retired man told her he's worked too hard in his life time to be talked to like that. Overall the poorest plane experience I've ever had and I fly quite a bit."

Cons: "The two big complaints are the food which was quite pathetic for a 14 hour flight - half of a cold sandwich and one cookie!!! Really?? They need to fly their competition and see how it should be done! The biggest complaint of all is their slight of hand baggage charges. If they're going to partner with another airline, they need some communication and agreement about pricing and allowances. Even though we are United Club members and credit card holders, we were charged nearly $400 to bring our luggage home, after paying just $30., yes, thirty, on Air New Zealand to take two extra bags! United's own overseas policy allows two bags, but they charged us anyway on return because we came on an airline that only allows one even though we paid ANZ to bring extra. Extremely illogical."
Cons: "We were connecting to this flight after flying in from Rome. Initially we were scheduled for an 8:30pm flight, but after landing early asked if we could change to an earlier flight. They graciously bumped us up to a 7:30pm flight, which trimmed our 4-hour layover down to 3pm. Cut to 6:15pm...we find out that the flight is not delayed AN HOUR due to a "late inbound flight." Long story short, the 7:30pm flight ended up departed later than the 8:30pm flight we were originally scheduled on so we didn't get to LA until after we were originally supposed to!!"
Cons: "Our flight arrived at LAX 20 minutes early so expected to get my connecting flight on time. Boy was I wrong, we sat inside the plane on the runway for over an hour. It was getting hot inside and people were getting upset about missing their connecting flights. We went around in circles on the runway, about 3 times. As people were getting agitated, so was the stewardess. Also people had to use the restroom, and the stewardess kept asking people to stay in there seats and she begin to lose her cool. What do you expect when your on the runway for over an hour. When people got to go, they got to go. So after finally arriving at the gate, "late" United did get me on another flight thru Alaska which was great. Will I fly United again, hmm I'm sure I will, One bad experience won't scratch them off my list, but I will choose other airlines first and United will be my last resort."
Pros: "I really appreciate them getting us there safely the crew was fine and it was nice to have tvs on each seat complimentary it really helps having something else to take you away mentally when physically your crammed together and it's really not comfortable or pleasant. I think the staff and crew were just fine though it's just flying has gotten to be something I don't enjoy and want to avoid as much as possible it's that way with most airlines though I think her blue is a little better on seat space and usually always has the tvs but yeah they are limited where they fly and it I is just expensive and uncomfortable to fly I think."

Cons: "I am a small person and found the legroom to be inadequate. I paid $50 to upgrade the seats to economy plus to give us a bit more space but it wasn't any better. For a long, overseas flight, more space is needed. I had more legroom on my domestic flight with United. Also, the airline attendants for Air NZ were unpleasant and downright grumpy at times. It made a long, uncomfortable flight seem a whole lot longer. Attendants on my United Airlines leg was phenomenally more professional. Makes for a much happier passenger. Plane temperature was freezing on the return flight to LAX and oppressive on the flight from LAX to Auckland."

I knew I was going to miss my connection and asked, and told if I did they would put me on the next one out an hr later, but could not nor would not address it until necessary. When we arrived, they informed me of the gate to go to... which we ran to... and when we got to there were told the plane left 15 minutes ago."
Cons: "Hour delay that made me miss my connecting flight. Customer service agent, Theresa, at the United gate was more interested in checking her cell phone text messages & handing out $10 food vouchers than the long of people who have conflicts with connecting flights or missing events in the destination they were flying to. Every minute lost could prevent customers from obtaining another immediate or comparable flight to their destination. Customer service agent sent those who were going to have problems with their connecting flights to the United Airlines service desk, of which, there were no customer service agents at any of the four available stations. I waited 10 minutes for an agent & no one arrived. When I went back to the original line I was standing in, I was forced to go to the back of the line rather than the place I was originally standing. Therefore I waited in line an additional 20-30 minutes. Once I was served they did not have any more seats available on direct flights to Melbourne. They wanted me to fly to NY, then Sydney & then Melbourne. Additionally the customer service agent did not seem confident this flight was not going to have any hiccups. Worst of all, I had been planning this trip for months & it was ruined by United Airlines."

Cons: "Airplane was damaged and united wouldn't rebook us until the flight was officially cancelled hours later. Then United provided only one service person to address all of the passengers needs so we had to stand in line for a couple hours longer. Then they had no hotel rooms to put anybody up for the night that couldn't get a flight until the next day. Then they gave us a measly $10 food voucher. Then our luggage was mishandled has still has not shown up to my house. Then because of the change in flights I had to rearrange transportation home at 1130 pm that cost me an extra $125. A very miserable day because of United's lack of being proactive and poor decision making given the situation and circumstances."
Cons: "They held us on the plane from Indy to Chicago for so long that most of us knew we were going to miss our flights. I ran all the way to my gate to discover that the plane took off 10 minutes earlier than it was supposed to. I was told there were no other flights to LA and I would have to get a hotel until tomorrow. I was only going to be in California for 2 days so every second counts, so when I became upset the man checked again and found me a seat on a plane that took off in an hour. I was grateful but at the same time I was kind of displeased that he didn't offer that to me originally."

Cons: "had a 1 hour lay over at LAX. I travel with a Service Dog. I had taken him out to the doggie poddy area. I came back in and had to have my Boarding Pass checked. They informed me that I would need to have my Boarding pass stamped for my dog. It took them 20 minutes to take care of it, by now I was running short on time to get to my flight. As I went through Security, I saw the TSA agent remove my laptop from the bin on the conveyer belt. I saw him lower it to the floor (I thought he was putting it in my bag). It wasn't until I got to Abq. that I realized my computer wasn't in my bag. I have contacted United, TSA, and LAX police. None of them have done a thing."
Cons: "The flight was delayed for 4 hours and when I checked in the agents at the front desk offered me a $10 meal voucher to restaurants that were already closed, so it was basically useless. I had to walk to opposite end of the airport just to find something open. My seat and surrounding area were filthy. There was hard, crunchy food on the floor, the tray was sticky and the seat 'cushion' was rock hard. Being that I have a preexisting lower-back condition, sitting in that seat was horrible. When I asked a flight attendant for a wet rag to wipe the tray off they told me I could just switch seats and showed that they didn't care. Basically, it was a disappointing end to a great trip."

Cons: "I encountered some of the worst staff ever on this flight. I was skipped over and completely ignored during more than once. I even told the guy I wanted water with ice when he asked me and then he starting socializing with others and skipped me. When I brought it to his attention he got all pissy with me. The other crew man was older and made me very uncomfortable. He was yelling at people constantly and made it very clear that he hates his job. This was the coldest flight I've even been on. Literally everyone was wrapped in their blankets and it still wasn't enough. The staff was told several times but refused to do anything. The guy in front of me had his seat row 39 middle left fully reclined back for the whole flight. Not once did anyone tell him to put it up during takeoff and meal times. He kept rocking the seat and spilled my drink in my lap."
Given how many delays and cancellations other airlines are having, I was very pleased with both flights of my trip being on time, easy to check-in & board.

Cons: "Plane was scheduled to depart at 8:20 pm it was then delayed until 8:58 pm due to weather. We all boarded the plane and were ready for take off when a maintenance issue was discovered. We all deplaned and we’re told we would be put on a new plane arriving from Seattle set to depart at 11:30 pm. This departure time was delayed until 1:35 am and then 2:35 am because the captain had timed out and we would need to wait for a new pilot. Also due to the first delay everything was coded as “weather” and customer service was unable to give hotel rooms. This miscommunication between corporate and passengers and the late night created lots of frustration. Instead of being helpful or honest customer service called security on the disgruntled passengers. I heard no threats of violence just elevated voices. At midnight Frontier began handing out meal vouchers (15 dollars to McDonald’s) as a way to increase morale. I finally gave up and requested a refund, got a hotel, and a new flight on a different airline (all Frontier flights the next day were sold out). When I asked what would happen to my checked luggage they said it would be sent to Dallas (my destination) or I could pay for it to be sent back to Denver. The flight and my luggage arrived in Dallas at 5:30 am. Paid $400 for Southwest flight the next day (flying into different Dallas airport away from my parked car and luggage) just for the guaranteed service."

Cons: "I got to the airport in Dallas 2 hours before my 6:55 flight, and at that very moment, received a text that the flight was delayed 3 hours. At that time, there was NO ONE at the Frontier check in to explain what was going on. I understand there was excessive wind in Denver, but there should have at least been a Frontier representative at the gate in Dallas. On my way home, again the flight was delayed by an hour because of something on a previous leg. Because of this, I am going to go with any other airline first. I think Frontier should either co-op with other airlines to get people to their destinations on time or have more planes.......or AT LEAST have someone at the gate to offer next day service or a voucher or a free snack or something. I also do not like the whole A LA CARTE theme with this airline and Spirit Air. I do not like that I was going to be charged for a coffee or a coke. The whole thing is too confusing, and I am going to pay more for an American, United or Southwest flight next time."

Pros: "The crew on my flight from Dallas to Denver did nothing about the obnoxious children (6 & 9yrs old) behind me who kept screaming, yelling & kicking my seat & the one next to me. The little boy behind my neighbor stood up & hit the man on the head."
Cons: "While waiting on my flight in Denver to go back to Dallas they changed gates on at least 5 different flights & it was very confusing watching groups of 50-100 passengers moving back & forth. This all happened in about 15min & my flight was called to board during all this chaos but because the woman making the announcements did not speak very good English I along with several others missed our flights. When i went to customer service to rebook my flight they tried to charge me $100 to rebook!!!!! Other airlines will try to book you on the next available flight thru another airline. Frontier told me the next available was 24hrs later, same time the next day. I was supposed to be back at work the next day. So i ended up spending $150 on a hotel room that i couldn't really afford. I WILL NOT FLY WITH FRONTIER AGAIN."

Cons: "Check-in was atrocious as we watched the clerks migrate from one crisis to the next, and no TSA pre-check. WAITING at every stage of the flight. You would think a one-way would be simple, but no. An hour at the departure terminal, delayed in-air, then sitting on the taxiway for an hour and a half at the destination, followed by more waiting at the gate. The pilot's excuses didn't help any, clearly trying to avoid an onboard riot for a flight in which we waited longer on the ground than we flew in the air. We checked the board afterward to see if any other airlines' flights were delayed--nope, only Frontier, every one. It's clear what happens. They pay the least possible expense for airport services, and are then the lowest priority at every stage of operations, resulting in delays at every phase of flight. The most frustrating flight I've ever had that didn't include actual incompetence or bad weather."

We were the only two people out of everyone boarding flight F9 129 to be pulled aside and asked to pay for a personal item that fit the size restrictions of the metal bag sizer outside the gate. We watched 50+ people walk onto the plane with not issues with multiple and bigger bags. We waited patiently but with frustration for an explanation and he could not offer one. When we asked what the problem was with us he threatened to not allow us to board whether or not we paid the bag fee. He did not take care of our unjust bag payment until 9:11 which was after the doors of the plane were to be closed. Aside from him being rude (which is a major understatement) paying for the bag wouldnt not have been an issue and it would have been justified had we not just flew into Denver two days before with the exact same bags. I was both embarrassed and humiliated and out of money for no reason."

Pros: "On Friday, July 8, at DIA airport I waited almost an hour before someone took me to my gate A42 for Flight 122 supposedly departing at 8:10 and boarding at 7:35. Finally, I had to bring this to the attention of the ticket agent as I did not want to miss my flight. Noone came and the poor overworked worker took me at 7:45 -we did not arrive at the gate until 8 o'clock (luckily the TSA checkpoints were NOT busy) and had the flight been on time, I would probably have missed it. This gentleman asked repeatedly for assistance for over 40 minutes and no one came to his aid. I panicked and I want Corporate to know they need to hire adequate help so their customers are not treated like dirt. Once I boarded, the crew was fabulous! However, I am not happy about such a horrible experience. I deserve a refund or free return ticket for my inconvenience. I have flown other airlines and have never had such a negative experience with wheelchair assistance!!!"

Not only do they charge for any and all refreshments, they also charge you to have a carry-on bag. The flight was also very very loud. The cabin rattled and roared for the entire hour and a half flight. We will not be flying Frontier again unless some major upgrades are made."

After all this I was sent to TWO different WRONG gates nearly missing that flight. At least I got an apology for that. The wrong gate fiasco was because Frontier shares gates with Jet Blue and Spirit. I could not hear the gate change announcements because I am hearing impaired. A lovely way to spend a day in Denver!"
