That way if aisle seats fill first, seated people are not stepping back into the aisle to accommodate others needing to get a seat in that row, while everyone on the gang way must wait for the aisle to clear."

The space given is sufficient for children and teenagers. Also sitting in the hot cabin for extended amount of time is extremely uncomfortable. Why there is no cooling and proper air ventilation right from the beginning?"

Once at the gate we were told they were trying to put a new crew together for us, including the pilot. While we waited they did provide good quality deli food for us. I appreciate the food but the 5 hour delay, I did not appreciate."

My original flight to dallas was delayed from 12:56 to 8pm which would of landed me in dallas at 2:21am but the club Fat Rabbit closes at 2am Which in fact was a 1300 (US dollar) loss. I re booked my ticket to Austin from Vancouver this morning because the only reason to go dallas was my job. Was supposed to fly in have dinner play music get back on the plane n go Austin but going to dallas was irrelevant and a 7 hour delay was absolutely ridiculous."

She responded in a very matter of fact tone explaining my inconvenience was not a very big deal and actually lied about the landing time to make my claims sound less worthy. I feel like jet blue, virgin and southwest are the only airlines that still care about the customer and their experience and not just how to squeeze more money out of them."

Cons: "Our plane was delayed leaving Grand Rapids. Once in Houston there was no gate available causing another 10 minute delay. All bags were required to be checked plane side so once we finally got off the plane it took another 10 minutes to get our bags. Many passengers had tight connections and had to rush to their next flight. My connection was already tight as it was - and I had to go to a completely different terminal very far from where I was to catch it. Five of us were on that flight connecting to San Diego. We finally made it to the gate. The plane was still there but the door was closed so we were not allowed to board. It was the last flight out so we were stranded in Houston overnight. This caused me to miss a very important medical appointment this morning - and to have to cancel client sessions leading to a significant loss of income."

Then, I had a middle seat. I was in between two extremely overweight people that had no business buying only one ticket. It was clear that there was no room for three people and no one checked in or tried to accommodate. Trying to go to the bathroom was a huge ordeal bc the person next to me was barely mobile. If there was an emergency , it would have been a hazard. When I was able to go to the bathroom (after ten minutes of maneuvering ) flight attendants seemed annoyed when people were in the lane. While this is understandable, it was not possible for me to quickly scoot back into my seat. Overall , this was a terrible experience. Entertainment was lacking. It took about 30 minutes to get any beverages after being requested."

Cons: "My first flight was delayed by an hour and 20 min. I arrived at Dallas for my connector to Austin, 25 min before my departure time. I could have made it, however, the plane taxi'd at the gate for at least 10 min, then the door wouldn't open. When I finally got off, I sprinted to my next gate, thinking they may hold it for a few minutes as there were many people connecting on that flight to Austin, but instead they did the opposite. When I arrived there were other people waiting who had arrived 10 min before the departure time (also from a delayed flight) and the doors were already closed. There was no representative at the gate to even tell us this, until we had waited over 10 min, and when he arrived, he said the doors were closed, and all of us were too late. Why would you close the doors early, knowing that other connectors were coming in. Additionally, on my return trip, my flight was cancelled, and I never received a reason for its cancellation, just an automatic rebooking that put me back in New York a day late. I had to be on the phone for an hour, rebooking a flight that United didn’t have. They instead put me on an American airlines flight last minute that I barely made. This wouldn’t have been so bad if this wasn’t the second time this exact scenario occurred within two months, when my siblings attempted to return home for the Christmas holidays. United is terrible."

I was supposed to have a quick direct flight to Austin from Newark I the morning, and it was cancelled because the pilot didn't show up. There was no rescheduled flight, and suddenly 60+ people were trying to find extra seats on the next Austin flights which were of course also booked. Many people were put on standby, but the next flight was overbooked so not even everyone with tickets made it on the plane. I ended up having a 2 leg, 6 hour journey that left 5 hours after my planned departure (which was a direct 3 hour flight)."

Cons: "My flight was delayed a couple of hours and I understand the weather was terrible and nobody can control it. I basically lost half a day with my boyfriend who I was visiting and I don't get time to see him often because he is stationed in Colorado Springs. My flight coming home was delayed a couple of hours as well so when I think about flying with United I think about how horrible everything was. when i arrived in Denver all my bags were wet my carry on and my suit case so we had to re-wash all my clothes because everything was very wet."

Cons: "On my first leg of my round trip flight free refreshments were offered. On my return flight they were not and was told everything beside water only was available for purchase. It also seemed a bit unsafe for during the course of the short 2:15 hr flight between Chicago and Austin for the Pilots to leave the cockpit with the only things standing between someone rushing the cockpit when the door is opened are a drink cart and an older female flight attendant."

Cons: "First off, it's ridiculous that after buying a ticket aboard Frontier online, nothing was mentioned before hand about purchasing a seat!!!! - really, what was the ticket supposed to cover. Then, large charges for a small carry-on and also a checked bag that I did online. Then worse, aboard the plane, I discovered that all cokes, etc. and peanuts, etc. had to be purchased. You talk about cheap and greedy. The flight back from Denver was even worse as it was running almost an hour and a half behind, then they switched gates, and after finally boarding at the other gate, we sat at the boarding gate for over an hour, with very little contact or explanation from the crew, not even offering passengers a drink of water."

Cons: "The gates were changed almost at the last minute and we didn't hear any announcements. A few passengers we're almost late for boarding. I found out because some lady came by and asked if this was the flight to some where else. That's how I found out the gates were changed. I told the rep to make sure that they make the announcement so everyone knows of the changes. I could of got on the wrong plane and missed my flight."

Cons: "I was unaware of the check in bag charges of $40 for first bag and $45 for second. I'm from overseas where bags are either complimentary, or any extra charges are explicitly stated upfront. Sadly this wasn't the case and that was disappointing."

Customers are offered beverages, as you might guess there is a fee attached to that- $1.99 for a can of coke, really? Frontier will never be my first choice with this type of baggage policy. They made a lovely announcement at the end of the flight about expanding their fleet of planes, etc. Apparently from reading the reviews others have the same complaint, anyone @ Frontier, listening or reading these?"
Cons: "My flight was cancelled and Frontier refused to put me on another flight as they said I was a no-show. I sat at the airport almost 3 hours before my flight which was at 12:45 am 11/21/15. Because it was past Mid-night it did not show on their computer system till next day and so they said they could not see it even though I had a printed boarding pass and was checked in, this caused me another ticket, hotel, extra parking, and dog care. Almost $600 extra. I will never use this airline again. No telling how many other passengers they did this to."

Cons: "Our flight was cancelled and we were not given vouchers for another flight, told we would NOT be reimbursed for our flight, told they could get us on another flight on Tuesday morning and told they wouldn't put us up in a hotel for the night. I am a doctor and waiting till Tuesday for a return flight home is NOT optional or acceptable given that there wasn't any bad weather. NO other flights were cancelled during that time. I had to rent a car, drive to Phoenix and book 4 tickets on UNITED in order to get my team and myself back home to see patients Monday morning. We finally made it home at 5:45 pm yesterday after 36 hours of being awake trying to get home without any help from FRONTIER. I will NEVER fly Frontier again and I will never recommend that airline to anyone I know. It was an awful experience and am extremely upset about the additional money to purchase 4 extra airline tickets."

Cons: "We were about 1 1/2 hours off of it original departure time. No one explained a thing to the passengers. We were delayed and when we finally got on the plane we waited a whole hour to take off. There was no information passed to us about how long it would take and our potential wait time. When it is time to check in, we had to purchase our seats. No where, when we bought tickets for this flight, did it say we had to pay extra money to actually sit on the flight."

The attendant at the check in desk wasted more of my time by uncertainly fumbling about and spending 5 minutes behind a closed door. They could only offer another flight 2 days later and at an additional cost. During the time they wasted of mine, I could have made it through security and to my boarding gate. F--- for customer service. I went across the terminal to the United Airlines desk and got on a flight last minute at practically the same cost as Frontier, the corner cutting overbooking "cheap" airline."

The final straw was when we landed in Denver. The pilot set the plane down so hard you could hear swearing all over the plane. When I mentioned it upon departing to the flight attendant she stated, "Oh yes, that automatic pilot". Any idiot knows you do not land or take off with automatic pilot!"

Cons: "I went to check in for Frontier flight # 1138, Las Vegas to Austin, TX. The woman at the ticket counter checked me in for the flight the following day. Now I'm stuck here without my bag for another day."
Cons: "Horrible customer service. Left my glasses on flight and never got them back, even though I submitted a lost and found ticket. Never got a reply back, and the airline rep at the airport was short and rude when I went to ask if there was any way I could go back and retrieve them as it had been just minutes since we left the plane or at least call and ask someone to look. The attendants probably just throw everything away. Never got an email back about the lost glasses. The seats were horribly uncomfortable, they charge out the wazoo for drinks and they trick you into thinking you need to pay for carry-on bags! Seriously the stupidest airline I've had to deal with in a long time. The prices for the flights were reasonable til we had to deal with all that stupidity. Not worth it. Go with American or United for good reasonable flights instead."
