Cons: "Because we missed our connection on our incoming flight, due to a delay leaving Newark by Swiss, Swiss cancelled our returning flights. So when we got to the airport on our return day, we were not booked on any flights. We were required to stay overnight and take a United flight home. Will avoid Swiss in the future."

Pros: "Though I was never sent an email for my daughter's check in, I had a different reservation for her but still under my name and same email, when I called on the phone the people were pleasant. They still never provided me with an email though and information allowing me to have my daughter checked in. they only provided me with her reference number."
Cons: "All in all we had a poor experience and my family and I were disappointed. I'm about to book yet another ticket for my brother, but this time I'm not considering Swiss Air. Just so you know, I'm a very positive person and appreciate every polite and courteous gesture. Unfortunately this experience didn't allow me to do so."

Pros: "The airplane was cool and the time for arriving was correct as well as easy to check in. The pilot was good and they told us who won on the World Cup tournament I liked that. There was a younger crew memeber she was reaaally nice."
Cons: "I asked when i got my ticket for a window seat and he said he gave me one but he did not in the two flights I got. I requested the crew for a window seat if possible since I had been feelin nauseated, it did not help that the guy sitting next to me had a really bad breat and smelled bad. They offered me a sit in the middle of the plane, that did not work well because I was feeling sick, being in between a big guy and a bigger lady was not going to help at all. There was an older crew member and she seemed to be kinda discussed with the trash even though she was using gloves. Food was ok but not the best. To top it off I told them that the headphones connection wasn’t working and they only brought me a pair of new headphones. I tried mine and they didn’t worked, so the whole 8 hrs of flight I was watching movies with sound only from on side. They didn’t even bother, I guess cuz I am economy? Not sure I did see some free chairs in the lanes between economy and first class but they didn’t even suggested that so I decided to suck it up and sit on my assigned chair. The bathrooms where dirty and smelled reaaally bad from the beginning that really was disgusting to be honest. I can let go many things but not that. I had to help the passenger sitting next to me cuz he didn’t know how to do anything and didn’t speak English, he was an older man, with signs I was able to show him how an airplane works. I never complain about flights but this one was tooo many little things. Oh and what about an international flight where I have to pay for a second bag! Really? I did it on my way to Europe and I thought I payed both and then I had to do it again. Whatever money I thought I could save was a lie because I ended up paying a lot more adding the bags and additional transportation for home based on the airports. I am not satisfied at all with the flight experience"

Pros: "Everything went smoothly on the rebooked flight the next day through Vienna to Newark USA. The flight on Austrian airlines was quite comfortable, good food and entertainment for the long flight. Boarding and deboarding all very smooth. Very helpful SWISS staff helped locate our luggage when we missed connecting flight the previous day."
Cons: "Thunderstorm at Zurich caused delay of our flight into Zurich, and we missed original connecting flight to USA. Many other travelers affected and there were no other flights that day. One wonders if they could have held the flight for one hour or so to allow everyone to make the flight. There was a huge line, 2-3 hours of waiting, at SWISS transfer desk to rebook. It took another 2 hours to locate our luggage. I believe SWISS were required by EU regs to provide overnight accommodations and meals. But the hotel was 30+ km from the airport and we were not confident we would have transport in the morning to make our rebooked flight. Because we could not take the chance already being delayed by a day, we booked an airport hotel at our own expense. Overall experience of the missed connection was negative based on the airline's (SWISS) procedures, but the individual SWISS staff helping us were all helpful and made extra effort to accommodate."

The crew had to spend quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to return from a flat bed to the upright position. Entertainment was re-booted 3-4 times during the flight to get it to work consistently."

Im 1.75cm (medium) and I felt squeesed and very unconfitable not like in Lufthansa airplane flying from Newark to Dussldorf. (Flight only 6:15min) In addition, when front passenger moved his seat back on me I had a lot of difficulties with getting in and out of my seaat."

Pros: "It was an 8.5 hour flight and we got fed 2 meals, 2 snacks and had lots of beverage breaks! We were delayed a little but it was due to an issue in France, not anything to do with the airplane, and the captain found a solution faster than he had originally said he would (with the help of the tower of course)."

I made various attempts to solve the problem, switching headphones, switching to my own headphones (which can't really be done because they have a two-prong jack and personal headphones are always one). I tried watching different movies, programs, music...it wasn't the material I was watching that was the problem. I asked the flight attendant to reset my console. That didn't work either. I just ended up reading my book the entire 9 hour trip."

Cons: "Our flight from Kathmandu was delayed so we missed our connecting flight to Vienna. We don't know why it took so long to organize the hotel. Turkish Airlines was ready with new boarding passes but we waited two hours at the hotel desk to get a bus to the hotel where we again had to wait till they gave each passenger a room. If they organized the boarding passes ahead of time, why not the hotel? So we were quite exhausted. The plane was again delayed leaving Istanbul. Movies on flight not what they used to be."

Cons: "I think finding a way to empower the crew to explain to passangers who took the extra seats ( some up to 5 per person) the entire 12 hours, that they must switch at some point if asked. There weren’t willing to do it on their own( being civil is a learned skill) and refused to allow someone else to take a nep on the extra seats as if they had paid for it."

Cons: "I had to take flight from San Juan to JFK on Jet Blue seperate ticket that supposed to leave san juan 5:26 am and get to JFK at 9:18 am , Jet Blue got delayed 5 houres due to the weather , when i got to JFK i went to the counter of Turkish Airlines to re book on another flight , i was attended by Indian look manager , he was very very very nasty with me and he told that the Turkish Airlines had cancelled my ticket and his comment to me ( you boughtyour ticket socheap there fore you need to pay $1650 dollar for new ticket and there is not gurranted i will be takig the next scheduled flight and i have to waite for thenextday ) he was very nastuy, so i went to Emirates Airlines and i bought a new tickets for $1475 dollar and ileft JFKwithen twohours , now when i want to retune from Lebnon i caled Turkish Airkines and they had informed that they cancelled my return ticktes as well , when the plane was delayed in san juan Puerto Rico Jet Blue manager in San Juan call Turkish Airlines to exolaine the situatuion and the agent had confirmed that i will be rebbok on another flight. I lst my ticket with Turkish and i will never recommend this Airline to no one from now on. I,m asking if i can use the monry that i had paid if i can rebook future flight , please do something i lost my tickets with Turkish and i had to pay $1475 dollar on Emirates , NO one seems to care .I have all the proof thatJet Blue gave me the boarding pass on Turkish after the station manager in San Juan called Turkish and they authorized him to print my boarding pass ( i have it all) unfortunatly Turkish refused to helo. Cons: "As our first flight got delayed, me and 28 other pallengers flying to israel told the airline agents that we would miss our connection flightfrom turkey to israel. The supervisor assured us that we have nothing to worry about, as the second plane would wait as we are many passengers.however when we landed in turkey the connection flight had already left without us. When trying to speak to turkish airline representatives about getting a new flight, they were super UNhelpful, we waited in very long lines and were required so go to a few different parts of the airport to get a new ticket, a process that was not friendly at all and very frustrating. After about 2 hours of waiting on lines, i got a flight that required me to wait 7 hours in the airport and measley voucher for a very small fast food meal. When i asked to be admitted to the lounge (as i waited 7 hours in the airport due to the airlines mistake), they did not agree to grant me access. When i asked to at least get the wifi code from the lounge so i can tell my familly that i am stuck on turkey, this was also rejected. While waiting in the airport, i spoke to many other people on other flights who had been stuck in the airport under very simillar circumstances, some even worse than mine. I also have many friends who have experiences simillar experiences with turkish airlines. If you are looking for a reliable flight, that will get you to your destination on time and will help you out when a problem occurs, Turkish airlines is deffinetelly NOT the flight for you. I personally will never fly with them again after the way i was treated."

The crew was concerened with it being an overnight flight and rushed through service so that the lights could be turned off on the cabin. They ran out of a food option and forced a selection on everyone in the back of the plane. The person sitting next to me even had a dietary restriction and her meal had been given to another passenger. The boarding process was a mess without clear directions from the staff, it was a giant mob trying to force its way onto a plane."

Pros: "The cabin crew were super friendly, attentive, and accommodating on our flight. Upon boarding the flight, pillows, blankets, and earbuds were awaiting us on our seats. During the flight, the crew handed out Turkish delights, lemon-scented hot towels, and sleep-care bag full of goodies (like ear plugs, slippers, etc.). The entertainment system had quite a selection of music, TV shows, movies, and games! Though it's always uncomfortable sitting on a plane for an international flight, I felt our Economy seats had a little more legroom than most, and there was definitely a lot of stuff to do on the plane if you didn't want to sleep."

In addition, the A/C was surprisingly on low, and for the first time, I became hot on the flight - not that I really minded. It was just a different experience. We also took off an hour after we boarded, which I thought was strange."

They put us into Istanbul at 2am which was far too late to check into our hotel for the one night and totally refused to get us into a hotel close by so that we didn't have to be at the airport for 13 hours before our flight. We booked a flight that was SUPPOSED to arrive at 6pm so we could get to the hotel at a decent hour and relax. They cancelled 2 flights for the day and put us sleeping in the airport at empty gates all night. The customer service was absolutely aweful and we got nothing but excuses about policy and being talked down to because we "could have chosen a flight early the next day" instead of coming the day before. We wanted to see the town for an evening!! This company has some of the worst desk people I've ever encountered anywhere!"

Foot cubby is narrow and constrictive, bordering on claustrophobic."

Next day, at Alitalia gate (Lufthansa put me on an itinerary with flights from Alitalia, Lufthansa and United) had to pay AGAIN to check the bag that I had just paid to check the previous day where we did not end up flying anywhere (showed Alitalia the receipt, they didn't care in the slightest and said its Lufthansas problem, 0 stars for them as well), either way finally got through our 2 layovers, only to discover the final leg of our trip (United/ Lufthansa flight) is delayed 3 hours. Just about to board, now it's delayed another 5 hours. Because we were short a pilot...... Short a pilot, really....? Ended up getting home at 2am on a work night, completely jet lagged and utterly exhausted from being in an airport for 2 straight days. Supposed to get compensation as per United flight crew, only I put my ticket information in the website and it doesn't work for me of course because I have a Lufthansa ticket. No one cares, no one helps, now it's time for Amex to step in and get all of my money back."

NEVER AGAIN AUSTRIAN AIRLINES!!!"
