Cons: "You lost our luggage. We were able to pick up our luggage after the Sydney flight, but they never made it to Minneapolis. What I don't understand is why we were not able to get boarding passes and seat assignments when we did our check-in in Sydney? Why is that so hard? Also, when we were getting our boarding pass in LAX it was so confusing when it asked for checked bags. Our bags were already on a belt going to who knows where - were we supposed to check "yes"? If we had a boarding pass this would not have been an issue."

Cons: "Maybe when I checked in for the last two flights if your check-in agents could've told me more clearly about where in the system my bags were, it would've been less of a surprise to find out in POM that they were not with me. I did ask, but got answers like 'we'll try to transfer them' or 'your bags are in the system', which were not too informative, but maybe as complete as those workers could ascertain, I don't know. I would've liked to be able to check in on line in advance for this and other flights on this trip, if you ever decide to open up that facility (without a charge), it would be appreciated."

The food was horrible, I only ate it because I was starving. Flight was delayed from Sydney to Bali, which caused me to miss my pick up. Not sure if I'll fly with them again."

I am usually careful about packing luggage, and did not think the leather satchel would attract a thief working for the airline, but I will not make that mistake again! DO NOT TRUST VIRGIN TO HANDLE LUGGAGE."

Cons: "About 8 hours into the flight the restrooms became very, VERY unclean--urine on the floors, sinks clogged, smelled terrible. More restroom maintenance was needed throughout this long flight. I thought this airline was the nicest I have been on save this one issue. It would be great if Turkish Airlines could resolve it in the future! Additionally the boarding process in Istanbul was like herding cattle. People weren't seated according to boarding group and it was absolute mayhem--no single file line, people shoving past one another to get seated first on the same plane."

Pros: "I have flown with all big airlines including Lufthansa, BA, Delta, American and others. This flight was by far the best experience I had. They have lovely serving crew so no one actually hesitates to ask or want something. They have helped me and my two toddlers along with 3 other similar families of an incredible amount to make sure they are all comfortable. No wonder that received the best airline of europe award for several years in a row...There was only a 20 minutes delay during take-off and we still arrived home a bit early... Very smooth flight, one that I still cant believe I had with my 2 toddlers. Strongly recommended."

Cons: "Food took up too much tray space and crew did not clear trays promptly. Messages from pilot were inaudible. We went through more than four security checks and we were only transferring planes in Istanbul. Terminal was short on places to sit and had excessive duty free shopping. Walks in terminal went on for miles. With the flight gate only posted 35 minutes ahead of departure, this was a problem."

Cons: "Poor crew service--amazingly slow (my general THY service experience has been great, but in this leg crew did not respond to calls for almost 20-30 minutes). After meals, most people took their own empty trays to return them behind (because the crew had not picked up after 30+ minutes). The meals arrived cold as well. My entertainment set froze after 4 hours in a 13 hours trip, and was not attended to after repeated calls. One conscientious Turkish stewardess was very helpful in the 9th hour (literally), even if the entertainment did not come back on. To top these, I was sandwiched between a teenager on front and teenagers on right, who were loud and generally weird (obviously not the airlines fault). So, it ended up being a mediocre experience overall."

Pros: "The desk personnels from the Philippines (flight from Phils to Istanbul) were very accommodating when I requested if the plane was not full that I could be seated on an area where the other seat was not occupied. Very professional with smiling faces."
Cons: "So now, this would be the opposite (big time), this lady personnel on the desk (flight from Istanbul to Miami), when I asked her for the same request, she did not even look on the computer and quickly stated that the plane was full. I travel a lot so I just know that this person was lying and sure enough when everyone boarded, they were empty seats. I should have gotten her name because she was just plane lazy and unprofessional, it showed that she did not like her job. I paid an expensive Turkish plane ticket, so I deserve that courtesy and I would fully understand anyway if there were no seats at all but please don't even take your costumers like a fool."

Cons: "I had to ask a neighboring passenger if her would allow me 20mins of my flight without his rear end in my face. He was a fairly large man and constantly bending over in the isle to chat with his family. His infant was being attended to by his wife who constantly paced around to shake the baby (I'm sure the baby was annoyed as well). The baby finally spat up on the floor and seat. Everyone in the family could not sit still more than 5mins at a time, jumping up, moving around, switching seats, passing items. The men turned the area into a social scene/bar. I was too distracted by all this activity hovering over me to enjoy reading or relaxing. I constantly had rear ends in my face, and I constantly had to dodge and lean in my seat. The aforementioned tall man even had the nerve to fold away my television monitor when I dozed off so that it would not be an obstruction for his activity. By then I'd had enough. The This flight was terrible. Non of the staff requested better conduct or mindfulness of the other passengers. I believe the airline should strongly consider having a separate space for large families, families with babies, or at least have a code of conduct to which passengers should respect for the sake of every paying customer's ability to enjoy such a long flight."

Pros: "My suitcase was delayed, but I'd like to notice and appreciate efforts taken by Turkish airlines rep. at MIA to get it found and delivered in a timely manner. She also followed up asking if everything is fine with it. Thank you, guys!"
Cons: "Rude young lady security officer in Istanbul airport, who forced me to start my laptop working like it's forbidden item to carry on. She talked with intonation like I did something wrong and she is thereto discover it. I believe better workplace for her would be to supervise some prisoners, not welcoming guests at international airports. All other officers (including other security control ones) were looking overwhelmed by work flow, but still polite and friendly."

My seat can recline easily without pushing the recline bottom. This was a connection flight. Passengers had to go through 4 check points. Too much redundant. At the last check point, 4 gates shared the same check point. We saw a line but no sign for it. So we went to the front to find out what the line was for and went back to join the line for security check. There were people who did the same thing but tried to cut in the line right at the check point, creating chaos."

Pros: "Flowers in the bathroom! WOW! Hot rolls with meals! Wide variety of choices in online movies. Somehow my name was dropped from the Vegetarian Meal list. (It was there DEL to Istanbul, but not Istanbul to MIA). So, the chief made a grilled veggie plate for me that was excellent. Crew was very polite and handled the situation in a friendly & professional manner."
Cons: "I reserved an aisle seat. Due to lower back & hip problems I need to get up and stretch. Turkish Airlines changed my seat reservation to a middle seat. The woman next to me was rather large, took up a lot of real estate (took up her seat and overflowed onto mine) and was unfriendly. It was impossible for me to get up, or to stretch. I was unable to return to work today due to sciatica problems related to flight seating. (I checked with the flight drew. The plane was full. There were no aisle seats available even if I could afford to upgrade to another class.)"

Cons: "not impressed with the food, They serve 2 meals in 12 hours of flight, First meal was reasonable and second one they only serve some steam vegetables no other options, it was very poor. In boarding process they don't use jet bridge , you have to board on to a bus and than carry your hand carry to the steps to the plane. Kinda old fashion way I took flight from Miami to Karachi with Lay over Istanbul airport for 5 hours. Istanbul airport is not at all good for long lay overs, they don't have enough seating for passengers, very few food choices, not clean bathrooms, Wifi was available for only 2 hours than after that you have to sit outside the Starbucks to get the Wifi. So if you have long lay overs than my advice is to avoid Istanbul airport."

Cons: "The Ataturk Airport that goes with Turkish international flights is a big mess, though. A lot of delays (on air before landing, on the ground before exiting the plane, one hour in the airport bus that wouId take us to the plane from the airport). Two of my colleagues who travelled the same route one and two days earlier than me had their luggage brought to them 4 days later. I will try to avoid Turkish in the future."

Pros: "Loved all the movies that were offered, made my flight very smooth. Since flight wasn't completely booked I had all the seats to myself which was awesome. Plus out of all the flight I looked into for my trip Turkish airlines offered the best deal and my connection wasn't too bad. Will travel with them again despite some of the reviews I read about them."

Agents at desk in JFK were rude. There was another Delta employee also on the shuttle who was the only one who seemed to show concern. He alerted the driver, called the boarding gate and led me to it."

Cons: "Out of all the airlines I have flown, this was quite disorganized in my opinion. The fact that I was not able to select a seat, nor did I have one assigned to me until prior to an hour before boarding, gave me a bit of anxiety. I don't think it's fair to take away this option to those that get the "cheap, standard" tickets."

We left the gat late, then pilot said we would still be arriving half an hour early. We arrived about 45 minutes late, and that was a problem because our connecting flight was due to depart now in 15 minutes. Lightning forced the airport to shutdown, which was great, we had a chance to catch our flight, but we were stuck in the airplane, and we couldn't get to our gate until the all-clear. I know this is not Delta's fault, but they did arrive quite late on a flight that, according to them, would be early. They also never communicated to the other flight that there were several passengers catching that connection. So by the time we had ran to catch our connection they had closed the ramp. Lightning hit again, and they shutdown the airport once again, so the airplane was still at the gate for about an hour, and they did not allow the 20+ passengers to board that plane, which was right there. So frustrating. The only thing that saved it was that our new flight was the new airbus, and although it left an hour and a half later, the comfort level was phenomenal."

They did find it next day and delivered to the FLL airport, but we had to get a cab and go to the airport to pick-up as we could not take a chance of it not making it to us before the cruise departure. I am extremely disappointed"

For example, the flight from Athens landed just four minutes before boarding started for our connection and we had to go through German customs. Luckily for us there were many passengers on the Athens flight that were also going on Dulles flight the airline waited for the passengers. This scheduling issue caused unnecessary stress that could have been avoided."

Cons: "Pretty big delay before departure, ended up in very stressful conditions for the rest of the trip. It became pretty obvious that we were cutting very close to the boarding time for our next flight (arrival scheduled for 4:05 pm and our flight to Chicago barding on 4:20 pm). One of the flight attendants kindly offered us to move up to the front seats of the plane on the last 15 minutes of the flight (with our luggage) so that we can exit as soon as possible. We moved (per his suggestions) and we were treated rudely by the young lady attendant of the Business Class. We explained that we moved after the suggestion of their other flying attendant. She called her supervisor on us, who in return, rudely, arrogantly and loudly started to berate us on how we "dared" to move ourselves to the Business class. After explaining the whole story again and showing her the tickets, she allowed us to stay to those seats for the last 10 minutes of the flight. We asked if an airport cart could be called to transfer us to the next gate, and they said no. We asked for information on the gate for Chicago and they did not provide one. Unfortunately, the plane landed very far from the gates. We had to enter the airport bus, which traveled for about 15 minutes before we got on a gate. There, we faced about 35 minutes of passport procedures and waiting lines. At that point, 5 minutes before our plane for Chicago was supposed to take off, we asked the passport pre-check officer what we should do (we assumed we would be missing the plane at that point) and he told us very rudely "When you REALLY miss your plane, then come back and ask me"!!!!!!!!! Then we passed through passport check and we were told to run to our gate (which by that time was no longer showing on the computer screen, and we knew about the changed number, ONLY because KAYAK sent the update to us-THANK YOU!!!). We ran for about 12 minutes. We arrived at our gate late by about 25 minutes after our flight was supposed to leave. There we were asked why we were running and when we told the guy who screened our boarding passes he responded "Well, running is good for your health..."!!!!! At that point I would have liked to give him a piece of my mind...We were told by the same guy that due to airport security issues, Frankfurt airport had so many delays in the last couple of weeks that planes know to wait for the late passengers. Couldn't someone have told us that before? We have NEVER been treated so poorly by an airline and we will NOT fly with them again. The LUFTHANSA customer service was terrible. We have not encountered such arrogance and lack of information for many years...Shame on them! AND we were not the only Americans running. There were families with little children and older people, etc etc, just because the Lufthansa attendants and ground crew did not feel like giving us the information we needed!!!"

Take off was delayed, but the captain never told us why. The guy in front of me reclined his seat the whole time. I felt like a sardine in a can. So uncomfortable!"

Cons: "I think I have gotten used to Asiana's and Korean Airlines'. It just didn't seem to measure up to their business class service. The food (which has been highly rated!) I found to be just mediocre. Maybe it's because I was living in Asia for eight years and had become more accustom to asian cuisine?? I didn't love the seat either. When you recline, your feet are cramped inside a small area under the seat in front of you. It was cramped. The ability to customize the seat recline was limited. I like being able to move the head and feet into my own customized position. The business class seats from Vienna to Amman felt like coach."

Food quality was poor as well. during booking there was not an option to indicate dietary requirements either. not impressed with austrian air overall."

There was not an exchange with her that was friendly and agreeable. When serving drinks a second time, she asked me what would I like to drink and I answered: What do you have? I had not asked the first time drinks were served since I knew I wanted orange juice. he second time, and not wanted to drink the same, I asked: what do you have? and her answer was: "Same as before". I had to let her know I had not asked before and then she proceeded to tell me the different drinks and finally added: My colleague will take care of you. She did not want to serve me. The first incident went I tried to use the bathroom in the back of the plane, she would tell people: "don"t use that one, I need that bathroom for......." ( not sure for what but her tone was so rude,that people walked to the other bathroom embarrassed). All I can say is that everything else was great, including the friendliness of all other crew, but that one ruined the experience. A third time I got up to walk to the bathroom and the seatbelt sign was on, but so it had been for a long time. She prompted me to go back to my seat. All others seem to do their job without been rude, Not sure why this one couldn't. Job stress? Not the passenger's problem. Besides that and the poor movie choices, everything else was great. I think the flight was delayed but to that point everything was going so smooth, I didn't even notice. I will fly Austrian again, and would love to visit Vienna. Please advise how to add the miles of my trip to my account. I booked in Kayak, left to Ohio from Miami running from hurricane Irma, my return from Ohio to Miami was cancelled and I had to embark on that long plan10 day trip without even returning home to Miami to pack. I totally forgot about putting the miles on my account on either ticket counter."

Pros: "The crew was super nice"
Cons: "Not enough food during the long flight"

Pros: "The food and service were fantastic!"
Cons: "If possible, perry there could have been entertainment on the plane."

Cons: "Very confusing boarding procedures. In Vienna they would check you at the gate to make sure you are in but keep you standing for a long time. I am not sure what happened but food was barely edible: breakfast eggs were like rubber and Lunch was served with a tiny sandwich. For a 10 hour flight it was not even sufficient"

Cons: "I specifically selected three seats for my Wife and two children ages 7 and 5. I did not fly back with them and at check in the three seats were confirmed on a boarding pass printed at their departure location. Upon checking in on the connecting flight in Vienna, the seat assignment had been completely disregarded and three seats located 10+ aisles apart were given to a family traveling together??????? This makes no sense and must be due to booking through a third party. Unacceptable and not worth the $40 per ticket savings."

Cons: "Both flights were delayed. Food selection was poor."

Pros: "Unfortunately no good experience comes to my mind..... Only one! At boarding there was a Jewish girl, she was very nice and kind! I wish I could list here more positive!!!"
Cons: "Unfortunately the food was poor quality. You should pay attention to people who eat kosher and have an option available. Eventho I have marked it on my ticket I need kosher food it wasn't available. It is upsetting. It would be a must at every company, regardless of the service to have name tags for the employees!!! Mostly the flight attendants were kind, but as soon as i asked for something it seemed like they don't want to help or work at all. I understand I have traveled on the economy class but shouldn't make a difference how you treat the travelers. The pillows were dirty!!!!! Not only one, because I have asked for more......most of them! It is disgusting! Something must have been wrong with the headphones because the volume was on max when i tried to watch the move but barely could hear anything. I have flew with Lufthansa most of the time and in the future will chose them. Very disappointing that sooo many little things are interrupting a vacation."

Cons: "The ground crew harassed us for bringing our instruments on board. We fly with instruments for our work and this was the first time we were forced to check certain items and were detained for a period of time so that the ground crew could check with their superiors."

Cons: "No entertainment - probably due to short flight time. On my flight from la to vienna the entertainment was remarkable."

Pros: ".The crew was pleasant"
Cons: "The flight attendants did a satisfactory job of distributing meals and snacks only if you were awake during their service round. I was resting on one occasion and missed the snack. I was total ignored when I asked for a serving. The boarding process was disorganized and the flight was delayed about an hour. Seat way too small for transatlantic. I weight 62kg and was sitting in a middle seat. Next time I'll have to get an upgrade."

Cons: "Crew was not friendly. Attended more to German speaking passengers and were out right rude to those who spoke no German and little English"

Pros: "Quick boarding and exit off the plane"
Cons: "No little foot rest , no blanket in the winter"

Pros: "Nice crew, lots of entertainment options (movies especially). Seats recline very far back, nice..."
Cons: "Ground crew was a big bottleneck and Austrian security did not help."

Pros: "Check in and gate agents in TLV were top shelf pros, fast, friendly and to the point with a smile. Crew on board followed through as well."
Cons: "Food was crappy and there was no entertainment on board at all. Also, crowded seating."

Pros: "My bag didn't make my connecting flight so I guess they upgraded me because of that. Exceptional service, food and comfort. Ground staff at Vienna and crew were wonderful."

Pros: "Glad to have coffee and sweet treat. Attentive and pleasant crew."

Pros: "We have children and the crew was very helpful in making it an easy boarding process for all of us."
Cons: "Initially we were jammed into a gate area with all guests and it was absolutely horrible and not safe, especially with our kids."

Cons: "Policies on bringing stroller differed between each trip. And they were not polite about it."

Pros: "Flight attendance were amazing Smooth flight Comfortable seats"
Cons: "Boarding was very unorganized"

Pros: "I loved absolutely everything..the service and food were amazing. I will recommend this airline to everyone I know..and definitely will use again. Thank you! You made 9 hours very bearable."
Cons: "Can't answer this question because everything was fantastic."
