Quiet night flight, friendly service and ok entertainment.
No surprise but food definitely nothing special, disliked big fees for baggage.
We had a very good experience with Air canada and will use Air Canada again.

When I had to change my wife's ticket due to an emergency, we were charged over $415.00. That is unfair.
Entertainment system has a bunch of varieties to keep you entertained for a 12 hour flight.
The delays were horrible!!! Had 4 flights with them. Seattle to Vancouver, Vancouver to Beijing, Hong Kong to Vancouver, and Vancouver to Seattle. Seattle to Vancouver was delayed so long that we almost missed our connecting flight to Beijing. Because of that delay our baggage missed the Vancouver to Beijing flight and we had nothing for 2 days!!! It was a hassle to get some kind of compensation and just having to wear the same clothes for 2 days. Also the Hong Kong to Vancouver, and Vancouver to Seattle flights were also delayed
The crew, the flight, the pilot to cabin communications, the food, and the movie selection was amazing. I am so happy that I flew Japan Airlines on my return trip. I would highly recommend them for your travels.
A Japan Airlines employee escorted me every step of the way to ensure that I made my connecting flight from Tokyo to San Diego because I only had an hour and ten minute layover and this can be challenging when you’re in a foreign country. I cannot thank Japan Airlines enough for how easy they made traveling and how comfortable they made me feel. I Highly recommend flying Japan Airlines for your travels.
Food and entertainment was good.
Because of some system updating we were unable to check in online and had to wait until we got to the airport to select seats. By then, there were no decent seats available. My bladder nearly burst because the guy next to me slept the whole time. They say it will take 3 weeks to update the system. This is a terrible level of customer care.

No wait at JAL business class checkin.....security and immigration were slow, didn't see a separate line for business class if it existed. Access to Korean lounge, was fairly standard. Crew very friendly once on board. Plenty of good food and drink for a relatively short flight.
IFE in armrests,not in back of seat in front. Limited liquor options onboard (just chivas).
I’m flying internationa flight but, I can’t get enough or right answer from my question due to Luck of english language. I’m not perfect when it come to this language but I can communicate properly.
The calmness and assurance from the cockpit was promising
Flight attendants were not pleasant at all. They had know clue what to do during the flight emergency.
The movie selection was great, the movie player barely worked.
The movie player/touch screen barely worked. The food is terrible.
First Class seating was of course better than economy.
Flight to Maui had no Mai Tai drinks available, no heated towels, no dessert, barely any service from the flight attendant(s).
The flight itself was fine
I bought the tickets together, but was informed at the ticket counter that i had only purchased tickets—not boarding passes. Boarding passes needed to be purchased by paying extra if my husband and I wanted to sit next to each other. I tried calling the customer service line through kayak and waited on hold for a long time with no indication of wait time. When the gate agent arrived, we asked and were moved to seats next to each other right away. The ticket agent at initial check in was very abrasive and non-solution oriented. if what she was saying was true— that we only paid for tickets and had to pay extra for boarding passes together— that was never made clear during the booking process. It’s unlikely I’ll use kayak again unless I know for sure what I’m buying.

We flew for only 45 minutes on a flight that had been scheduled for 1.3 hours.
The long delay seemed strange, as the plane had arrived from Costa Rica. Why would an airline schedule the same plane for an international flight and then a short hop from Newark to DC without adequate time in between? The departure gate at Newark was absolute chaos! Announcements were overlapping and not understandable. There was inadequate seating.
For transatlantic flight, the quality and quantity of food could have been a bit more generous.
