Cons: Due to a family illness i was not able to make the 1st leg of my roundtrip flight to Santa Ana. Not only was i forced to buy a brand new flight to get out to Orange County, i was charged $150 JUST to be able to keep the 2nd leg of my trip, which i'd already paid for. It's the 2nd Time Delta has done this to me in the space of 2 weeks and it's absolute Idiocy. Gouging you loyal customers like this is NOT how you do business.

Keeping this from jading my point of view, the airline stood within the standard of what is expected of a good trip. Food was good, and the choice of movies, shows, and games helped the time pass. Staff was friendly, and checked bags were ready rather quickly.

Cons: they charge 300$ extra for a 14 year old child and dont give any service for the payment, they say it is to bring the child on and off the plane even though he can travel alone and has done it many times with other air lines. drive the parents uo the wall, make them wait endless time, and then they comlaine that thay have no time tofor the child and leave him standing with out even letting him to seat with the other air lines a child of 12 can travel alone.

Pros: After the GSO - PHL flight, I mistakenly boarded a flight to Portland Maine PWM. Why didn’t the gate attendant catch this error?

We had to board a bus to get to the plane and we sat there for 20 minutes breathing in exhaust while we were packed in like sardines rather than the bus going back and fourth with smaller groups. Cons: The gate was changed 1hr prior to boarding despite the arriving plane having landed 3hrs prior. So with stroller and infant in toe, I had to run to change terminals/buildings. There was no assistance or prior warning regarding this from the check in staff and I made it all the way to the original terminal and gate before having to turn around. The desk staff at the gate was asked about early boarding for infants and said it would be okay but didn’t give clear instructions on boarding so I sat down and they began boarding each group 20 minutes later and did not give priority to mother’s with infants. The stroller which I brought to the gate was then tagged incorrectly with a white tag instead of a pink tag. I was later told by he crew that it meant it would go directly to baggage claim instead of being brought to the door. According to the crew, all staff know to tag with a pink tag. At every step there was blatant display of inconsideration that made an already difficulty journey, that much more challenging.

Cons: B767-300 used for LIM-MIA was exceptionally old with overhead monitors for inflight entertainment. Headphones not given until 20+ minutes into the only movie (the rest of the programming was stupid TV shows/profiles).

Cons: I've had flights canceled before, but clearly American Airlines/ JFK is not equipped to manage. American Airlines online hung up on me after 24 minutes of being on hold. I waited in line for 2 hours to get on another flight home and the attendant first suggested to fly me to Charlotte then Cleveland where I would arrive a day late after I'd been traveling with my elderly parents for 24 hours. Additionally, once we changed flights and had to go to Newark, it took an hour to print (yes, print) our new itineraries for United and then when the cab should have arrived immediately, we waited 45 minutes. I was displeased.

Pros: I flew economy. We left the gate on time, the seat was comfortable, entertainment was varied, flight attendants that I came in contact with were professional and pleasant, food was hot and very good, pilots got me where I wanted to go, and that little container of ice cream - oh I love it! The plane was not completely full, which made the seating more comfortable than it would have been if the plane was full.
Cons: I was ushered into what became a very slow line to board. The employee at the end of my line had to deal with a few problems so I ended up boarding close to the end, behind those with higher group boarding numbers than I. Having a single line up to the two boarding employees, would avoid that, albeit make a longer line to begin with.

Cons: Check in was terrible. There was confusion and it was terribly disorganized. I arrived 2 hours before my flight and almost did not make bag drop due to the long line (atleast 50-80 other people in the same situation). Then had to rush through security and the terminal to make boarding. Cleared second passport check to be told when the flight shelf have been taking off that the flight was delayed. I get sick when I fly and it helps to eat and due to all the check in delays I could not eat. So when the flight was delayed for mechanical reasons I wanted to go eat to be told that for the next three hours that I would be stuck I could not leave to walk around get a meal or anything. The communication for the staff was poor and their attempt to keep their customers comfortable was lacking.

We got delayed by 4 hours in Chicago and missed our connection in Manchester. We had another 5 hour wait there. By the time we got to Dublin, our bags didn't also arrive. After almost 24 hours of travel, we arrived but without all of our stuff.

Pros: United Airlines is putting customers and employees at risk. It is an insane and absurd as it is disgraceful. During boarding you will see painted arrows on the ground urging you to be "6 feet apart" from fellow travellers. You will then enter a the plane and be 6 inches apart as the plane will be FULL. Fly Delta where they block off middle seats and social distance. United CEO Scott Kirby does not care about customers or employees. The absurdity of the juxtaposition between the "6 feet" signs in the boarding area and the COMPLETE ABSENCE of distancing on board tells you everything you need to know about United.
Cons: Practice social distancing on the plane. There's a pandemic. This is the NUMBER ONE thing you should be doing to assure safety of passengers and crew.

Cons: When I made the initial booking/seating, United was not allowing the middle seat within the row. Needless to say, the plane was packed. Not one empty seat. Disappointing!

Cons: Missed my connecting flight. Ended up being ticketed with a different itenerary with 11 hrs layover in Dulles washington. Had to spend my own money to hotel and taxi. And just few hrs when I finally arrived to my final destination, i had to work since I didnt have anymore sick time or vacation time. Very exhausted. Its was a night shift 12 hrs duty.

Cons: This flight, from San Francisco to Frankfurt, was fine. However, I then had a 7 hour layover in Frankfurt.. However, all worked out well, and they transferred my bag and I got there fine - just greatly delayed.

Cons: Baggage Claim was a nightmare. I did not receive a baggage ticket when I checked my bag in London. Part of that is my fault. I should have made sure I had one. It took an extra long time to get my bag. Everyone else had left the area from my flight and I approached the counter. The attendant at the counter was rude. She said she couldn't help me unless I had the baggage claim ticket. Which I get that, but it all comes down to how she said it to me. She went over to the carousel and said that my flights bags were still going around and at that time I saw my bag. I said there it is to her and she responds, well you can go get it yourself then. Just completely rude. It all came down to how she responded to me. I was freaking out at the prospect of my bag being lost and she responded as clipped and uncompassionately as possible.

She said, "this flight has been oversold" and motioned for the next passenger to step up. This really upset my husband who told her, "Wait, we are not finished discussing this!" He went on to explain to her we purchased our tickets together with seat assignments - Together. She then said if we didn't reclaim them when checking in, 24 hours prior, the seats then became available again. What kind of logic is this?! Ugh! If I wanted to be treated like cattle I would have stuck with Southwest! We. It's back to Southwest for us. At least they are up front with their rules.

Pros: Crew was pleasant and helpful.
Cons: This was not an Austrian airlines flight. It was a flight bought out by American Airlines. I had to wait in two different check in lines at IAD to figure this out.

Cons: Assent into Lincoln faster than usual pilot did not get to see pilot.

Cons: As the ground staff had trouble loading the luggage in to the booty...plane was stranded on the runway without AC... caused unnecessary delay. We missed the connection.

Cons: The weather! And air traffic control!!

My wife and I somehow to our connecting flight by running all the way and requesting people to let us go ahead of them. However, United did not send our bags fast enought and deliverd them to our place the next day. This created a lot of inconvinience as I was scheduled to go for a business related conference in Chicago. United - you suck! Hate your service for the core. I hope I never have to fly United again.
