I really enjoy flying Delta but not this time!"

Check in person played on her phone and didn’t even look at you when asking what seat was I assigned . Going from Atlanta to Fort Lauderdale the check in person was so rude there where 5 people askI’m her what’s her problem . The crew the flight was excellent but the Atlanta check in desk really dropped the ball 2 times . If I was the manger I would fire the whole staff and If I was above the manager I would fire them as well as I’m. Sure this is not an isolated occasion."

He took time to chat with us and answer our questions, which made me feel more comfortable about the long flight. The stewards/stewardesses were very nice and had us laughing on their welcome messages. The lay-flat seats in first class were the best. Very comfortable, and easy to fall asleep in, without disruption from other passengers who insist on keeping their reading lights on while everyone is trying to sleep."

I understand this serious health risk, but passengers need to be handed out free of charge crackers or cookies if they were counting on eating their own snack. Passengers were putting both their carry on and personal item in the over head storage and therefore there wasn't enough storage for those would only wished to store one item."

Cons: "Hey there good Air Canada folks. I'm a full-time, working, touring musician. I enjoy flying your airline overall, but touring with an acoustic guitar and/or a banjo is constantly stressful. There are clear guidelines about your policies for musical instruments posted on your website, yet your employees never seem to know them. Please have something posted for them at the gates, so I don't have to convince them EVERY TIME that it's okay for me to carry on my instrument in a soft case. A side note: Since airlines started charging for baggage, people are desperate to carry on as much as possible. This means there is always a struggle now against people with a bunch of clothing and personal items in their rolling luggage, to fit the instrument that is my LIVELIHOOD on the plane. Please find a way to make touring with Air Canada easier for musicians. At least return to gate check policies."

I think that I would rather have paid a little higher fee for the flight and have some of the things built into the ticket than have to keep paying out money for all the different things."

In addition No blankets or cushions were provided. The leg room was horrible. I'm only 5'5" and I felt cramped, so I can't imagine how it would feel for someone taller. also, no one checked bags due to the newly imposed fee so everyone crammed their luggage into the overhead compartments and many of us had no room to store our carry-ons and had to put it below our seats, causing even less leg room. the Hawaiian airport also locked out the waiting area for international flights back to Vancouver due to some policy that the area must be locked down until the plane has arrived and everyone is off the plane. Many of us were sitting on the ground outside in the non-air conditioned hallway in front of the stores like homeless people for over 2 hours. Luckily seniors were sitting on wheelchairs and did not have to wait while standing or sitting on the ground. They finally let us in 20 minutes before boarding but really by then it made no difference."

This led to massive confusion and a huge pile up of people at the counter."

We got split up going home and the $800 voucher that we were promised was decreeased to $400. They also lost our bag due to the changes. The reason we didnt get priority for seats on our connection is because our first flight landed at the last minute and by the time we got to the gate, all but 1 seat were claimed on a furst come first served basis. All staff treated the entire thing as an "oh well tough luck". No empathy because they suck so bad, they're used to seeing angry customers."

Cons: "I do and have been in the customer service field for well over 25yrs and the service from the desk reps (EXCEPT from the ladies when leaving Hamilton, Bermuda), flight attendant were lack luster to say the least...the energy and behavior was professional but no enthusiasm from the employees. Almost everyone's personality seemed like a flat lined and when I asked if I can have a whole can of ginger ale, the response was as if I asked to commit a crime. That was on way to Hamilton so I did same thing again on way back to see if I'd get same response and ironically, I did get same type of response as if I was doing or asking something wrong. However, the Air Canada employees in Bermuda at the counter were beyond wonderful, enthusiastic and great energy."

I know you cannot discriminate against big staff, but you have to make the aisle wider if you want your passengers to be comfortable and undisturbed."

Pros: "The return flightf we had our be on from S,an Francisco to Atlanta , we had only 20 minutes to make it to the boarding gate. We were tired and didn't have time to use the bathroom nor eat before boarding. This is because my flight was changed. I'm so upset with United."

Cons: "Boarding long lines in Honolulu"

Cons: "The plane got almost 1/2 way to SFO before having to return to honolulu bc they didn't have enough fuel. We spent 5 hrs in the air over th pacific for nothing and wasted a while day of our life. No weather issues, no mechanical issues, just they didn't have enough fuel widen it turned out there were strong headwinds."

Cons: "Cramped and overcrowded"

Pros: "The only thing good was the flight attendants were very nice and accommodating"
Cons: "No free food or alcohol. This is the first international flight that I flew that didn't offer free food and alcohol. Never flying United again"

Cons: "Found the flight on the United site but couldn't buy it because it wouldn't let me enter my birthday. Called to book over the phone right then and the price was $100 more. Went online to check and the price was 100 suddenly. Went to kayak and they still had the original price. Games like that make choose United last"

Cons: "They called for uniformed services to board priority and when I went to the front with another individual in the Military we were RUDELY told we are not allowed to board unless we are in uniform. I am in the US Coast Guard and we are NOT allowed to fly in uniform. This does not mean I am not a part of the military and I should be treated with respect. I had my ID ready to present and only had one bag. The employee was very rude and told me to go to the end of the line. I will NEVER fly United again. I was wrong to think they took care of military personnel."

Cons: "It would be nice to see a smile and enthusiasm from the attendants. Service? Waited almost two hours before my empty bottle was removed from my tray top. Asian airline attendants can teach UAL's a thing or two about the art of service."

Pros: "Extra legroom in premier economy was great. Entertainment made the long flight quite enjoyable."
Cons: "I liked the 2-5-2 seat arrangement better than this new 3-3-3."

Pros: "The staff was really nice! Flight was on time and clerk changed my flight to a more efficient itinerary"
Cons: "I had alittle trouble with the entertainment/technology aspect but eventually got it. I had to download the united app and then went around and around till i got the movie i wanted to watch. It would be good to have an outlet to power the device also."

Cons: "The shakedown to buy food or rent a tablet was beyond me. On the way to Honolulu. The young lady next to me had not eaten and it was the third flight on her journey, she had one more flight to go. the pressure from the flight attendant was similar to a very bad used car salesman. Tacky. When the same thing happened to another young person on my flight back, I suspected this is the way United runs its flights. I'm guessing United doesn't treat their employees well. They did just enough to be barely pleasant. I won't fly United again."

Cons: "It was ok. We had to connect to the their wifi in order to watch movies, yet the wifi continued to buffer. So it wasn't the best."

Pros: "Pilots did a good job comforting passengers about duration of flight, weather and safety. Smooth flight for all 8 hours. Sevice was good."

Pros: "I like the o assemblers that rode with me. Two individuals that were extremely kind to me Jim and Ethan Farley that were in the same situation I was in."
Cons: "After a rough start in Honolulu we landed in San Francisco to catch our connecting flight to Chicago but when arriving to the gate before the plane left I along with the other passengers were ignored and given no information as to why we couldn't board the plane. The best they could do was St Louis. Frustrated is an understatement."

Pros: "The flight seemed to go by a lot quicker than I expected"
Cons: "My seat didn't recline back so I could not sleep on my REDEYE flight!"

Cons: "Flight delayed by one hour on take off. Had to wait 1 hour for bags at my destination because the cargo door was stuck."

Cons: "7 am flight cancelled and re booked for 4pm flight on standby until then. 4pm flight didn't finish boarding until 5pm. No compensation offered on top of all of that, turbulence was terrible during descent. Been on easily over 100 flights and this was the worst"
