My bag was supposed to be directly shipped to PDX. I had to leave my hotel back to the airport and spend 2 hours trying to find it only to be told that it was going to PDX. I lost my $170 hotel room, over $70 for taxis and ended up spending the night on the floor at Schipol. I do not think I'll ever use Kayak again. The travel guarantee is a joke too."

Cons: "Boarding is ridiculous. Everyone who is not some kind of VIP is asked to line up and is treated like cattle. 5-feet tall woman holds above her head a sign with the zone currently boarding. Nobody can hear or see anything. Why not use the big LCD displays at the gate??? In the plane they had to restart the computer system as some TVs were not working and it took longer than they said. Toilets were kind of stinky and I could smell them from my seat on row 26. Blankets are way too thin for the blasting AC."

Cons: "This was the fourth first class leg of our overall trip and the first three flights on Delta were great. The attendants were pleasant and even fun. I have allergies and requested a special meal on all legs. No problem on the first three flights. All attendants approached me to confirm my allergy and the special meal. They were very polite. But on this flight, the attendant didn't speak with me about it at all. She tried to give me the regular meal. When I explained I needed an allergy free meal (mind you this was first class), I was told I could not get it and got no apology or other accommodation. Her attitude was take it or leave it. I found this interesting since on two of the other flights an announcement was made about another passenger with an allergy to peanuts so no one could have them on the flights and the attendants were very concerned."

Cons: "Again, Kayak should allow at least 2 hours of transfer time when booking flights through LAX. I had to go from one terminal to another AND go through immigration and security. In order to make sure I had enough time to make the connecting flight, I didn't check in my luggage which lead to me having to minimize liquids and pastes in my luggage (no vanilla extract or tequila). Also while making the transfer I felt rushed and stressed out. I might search for tickets using Kayak but I would not buy tickets directly from Kayak if my route involves a transfer at an airport that I am not familiar with."

Cons: "My seat's video monitor didn't work properly, despite crews attempts to reset it. Movie or anything was frozen at the advertisement. Worst part of flight was no ones fault--heavy snow conditions caused 1 1/2 hour back-up for de-icing. Only other complaint I also noticed on my last Delta flight--the volume on the captain's announcements needs to be turned up. Hard to hear much of what he said. His explanation of de-icing, and how it might cause an odor or even haziness in the cabin was very helpful so that I didn't worry when the odor happened. I do like Delta very much."

So on the flight I was given two options of fish or mexican beef. Mexican beef meant slow cooked beef in a salty brown sauce with 2 kidney beans. Yes 2 kidney beans. With potatoes carrots and broccoli. Entertainment was pretty lacking. Not a lot of options. Also it was freezing the entire flight."

Cons: "The SFO crew was not helpful at all. Upon check-in, the SFO to Copenhagen leg of the flight was 2.5 hours delayed. When I expressed concern to the SFO ground crew, they said "You'll be taken care of in Copenhagen" in a very dismissive manner. I noted that we would miss our connecting flight (Copenhagen to LHR) and that there wouldn't be another direct flight that day. The SFO crew member told me that I was wrong that there was another flight available (a 4:30 pm flight). I told her that that flight wasn't on the SAS website and she told me that I didn't know what I was talking about in a rude manner. When I arrived in Copenhagen, the ground crew informed me that there was not a 4:30 pm flight and there never was. To get to London, I had to be fly first to Frankfurt then to London on another airline. Overall, this delay cost me over 6 hours. Utterly unacceptable and will never fly SAS again."

The intial transit time was about 3hrs but the flight schedule was changed resulting to about 9hrs wait at the airport. Thanks to the Service representative I was given 100 Denmark money for food. I was very tired and the 9hrs wait didn't help. Overall, the Service was good. Maybe this was a one off but I wish I knew. I was going to get some rest in a holtel."

Pros: "They had a kiosk, which was nice. In the US (Dulles) on my way out, I had no way to print a picket without waiting in line. I don't have a printer at home and the mobile ticket system was not working, so I had to wait in a very long line despite the fact that I had no luggage just to get my ticket. Every other airline had a Kiosk. In Gdansk, I was glad to see that they had a kiosk."

Only coffee, tea and water are free. - Was thinking of upgrading because I had one extra baggage, but was told that I still wouldn't be eligible for one free extra baggage if I upgraded to SAS Plus NOR SAS Business - There was only one option for dinner, which was Meatballs. The meatballs were worse than IKEA ones. I'd rather eat the IKEA meatballs than those. I usually finish my main meal and I didn't eat it because it was that bad."

There was no way to forward the luggage, except pick it up, and then stand in long line, check in, etc etc., as if it were an entirely new flight. On phone they told me there would be expedited procedure. It was like taking an entirely new flight. All other countries have this worked out. What happened? I nearly missed my second flight."

I have special needs at my age and so booking early is how I typically make sure I can access the bathrooms easily without climbing over sleeping passengers. I picked flight for the price, but in the end I should have stuck with Delta, KLM and Air France and got the extra miles as with seat bookings and only one bag allowance, what I ended up paying did not make it worth it. Oh well, live and learn. Seats were tight, anyone bigger than me would have really struggled."

Oh BTW beware of their new “security” regulations. So I had a bottle of perfume in my carry on, only about a quarter maybe a third left in a 100 ml bottle. Guess what, it is not the amount of liquid you have in it, it is the amount the bottle can hold that matters. Needless to say they confiscated it."

Pros: "Staff at Heathrow was professional and efficient. Staff on board was professional and friendly as well."

Pros: "A few of us were held up on the tram. The doors were shut And they held the plane and accommodated us. For that I give 10 stars. I will always try to book British Air first"

Cons: "I ended up being rerouted to LA!"

Pros: "Not much - the entertainment choices were good and the flight was safe and smooth. Plus my bag turned up from Helsinki, Heathrow, Singapore, sydney"
Cons: "The biz class seats on BA are just horrible. The biz class service - BA aren’t even trying to match other airlines. A stingy snenities kit and a blanket doesn’t come close to qantas or emerites. The food is an embarrassment - microwave dinners over heated is a a generous description. Crew do as little as possible (they don’t want to be they’ve either)"

Cons: "Boarding was late with no announcement. Entertainment was limited to none existent."

Cons: "We learned the connecting flight from BWI TO PHL was canceled when we tried to pull boarding passes.This started a five hour panic for our party of four which was a leisure travel nail biter. We lost a day, flew into JFK and had to make other arrangements to avoid canceling our trip."

Cons: "The woman who worked the British Airways desk in Helsinki and checked our bags is not suited for a customer service position. The screens on the British Airways long haul planes are tiny and difficult to operate. A 2,5 h flight where you can't even get water complimentary is appalling. Honestly all of your competitors offer a snack and beverages complimentary even if the flight is only 45 min. The boarding for London to Dallas flight was very confusing and could have been made easier with grouping the boarding instead of tons of people piling up to rush in at once."

Cons: "We missed two flights,made it on the third trip.when trying to get some help and information I felt like they were blowing us off ( employees at the airport in Paris) not so much British Airways.The first time we missed the flight it was because we were sent to the wrong gate,and we tried to get information we were told to sit down our plane would be next.We then had to start the process all over again going thru check in and security, proses was so slow we missed the second flight,then I had to go thru the process anion retrieving our bags,going thru check in and security the third time,by the time I got to the gate they were boarding. It was a nightmare and I got to feeling we would never get out of Paris.Not so sure I would want to go to Paris Airport again.? If I would use BA."

Cons: "Always timely and flight crew is personable and helpful."

Pros: "full flight but well staffed and attentive. Great entertainment options."

Cons: "The only International flight I ever paid extra for one 2nd baggage. That took away my savings on ticket, and never going to fly on British airways as long as they charge for 2nd checked in baggage."

Cons: "No Wifi; not great for business travel"

Pros: "This flight was for my mother. The wheelchair service was very helpful. The crew were very nice. The food was great. Will fly with BA again."

Cons: "When the ticket was issued it never said anything about who the subsidiary operating airline is. That caused so much confusion that I missed my flight despite of arriving at the airport almost 3 hours before departure. Then on my way back I asked for a tissue she threw one on the table with a snarl and said they are in the bathroom. Then the plane was standing still in the tarmac for good 10 minutes and I needed a tissue again - the same stewardess was extremely rude in telling me to go back to my seat - I advised her to be calm and speak appropriately. I was only trying to get the tissue paper from the toilet."
