Since I traveled on my birthday, they gave me a gift and a card. How thoughtful and caring.
I missed the flight. I never got on. That sucked.
Great. Better than average US carriers on overseas flights. Still room for improvement to rise up the average Asian and Middle East airlines.
Our flight was canceled, then they moved us to a different flight number yet we didn’t receive notifications timely. We had to find out the latest on our own / later AA sent a text with the updated info..
They didn't tell me they changed my flight. So I got confused on what happened to my flight.
It was just a short flight. The crew was nice. No major issue.
Flight crews are very attentive and polite. Cabin and toilets are clean. Food is above average for economy class. We missed our connecting flights because the first flight was delayed, the ground crews at Tokyo were very helpful, providing all the information and support (including cash for our train ticket) to get us to our destination. Very impressive. No wonder they are always at the top ten lists.
Japan Airlines was excellent as usual once on the plane. Cabin crew was wonderful as usual. Boarding was solid on the Honolulu leg. For Thai Airways the boarding was less organized. I was in an earlier group but they weren’t clear with the numbers or instructions. Flight crew from Japan to Thailand was very good.
Japan airlines is excellent. I had a great flight with them, and they are the consummate professionals. I booked my flight through Kayak and they sent it on to Underpricer. That felt really scammy. My Oneworld number would not attach to the reservation and I could not choose a seat. I called Japan Airlines and got one but it was in the back. Later I drove to the airport and worked with the excellent agents there to find a better one. Later that day, I got a phone call from Underpricer trying to upsell me the option of choosing a seat. It felt like a Spirit Airlines level crappy move. The flight itself was exactly as nice as you would expect from JAL. The meal was good and the flight crew was awesome.
Flight attendants did great job for the families who has toddlers. One of toddlers behind us was crying for 4 hours straight and they helped the parents very well. and flight meal was delicious
It would have been better if the flight was on time
Fairly good - the seats seemed more comfortable on this flight. The staff out of Detroit were quite friendly. But they directed us to the wrong carousel for luggage. :(
Just crazy with times being pushed and pushed and pushed and gate crew at Philly super rude and unprofessional with many under stress with delays.
I liked the new boarding process. I thought the buyup options (legroom, early boarding) to be easy to request and reasonably priced. All the Southwest team from gate to in-flight were so nice.
Boarding process, crew were good. But the seats were so uncomfortable that was all I could focus on. I literally had to sit forward so that all 3 of us could fit in row. I will try to avoid Southwest in the future for any flights over 60 minutes.

Boarding was quick. The flight itself was good. However, no charging ports for cell phones. Also, the food provided was just a few snacks. For a 5-hr flight, I would expect at least a sandwich.
Boarding was well explained and smooth. The flight was short, so there was no time for snacks. They did offer water or juice, though.
The flight was very short, 45 mins, therefore no snacks/drinks were provided; there should be a NA option for food and entertainment survey questions. Also, there were no charging ports onboard for cell phones. My experience was overall positive.
I love the fact that Southwest airlines has a direct flight from Honolulu to Las Vegas and Las Vegas to Honolulu. The only downside was flying on Southwest is they do not provide meals even if they charged you they do not provide meals. They do provide a free snack that consists of chips pretzels cheese and a cookie. They do serve free drink and if you book the premium flight then you get your choice of an alcoholic beverage. The seats are small so if you are not traveling with three people plan on someone sitting next to you.
Your seats do not recline more than 2”. That’s a shame on a 5+ hours flight especially overnight flight. Garbage airline
Delayed flight caused us to abandon bags in hnl or miss our United flight home. Awful
Had small delay to replace a airplane tire but overall it. Went well.
Flight attendants were kind. Until the plane arrived and had a slow taxi. I was on the tail end of the plane and informed the attendants I had a connecting flight. They didn't do anything to help me get off in a more timely manner. Nor did they contact my connecting flight to let them know I was on my way. By the time it was our rows turn my connecting flight across the terminal D gate to C gate was already boarding. I had to run the whole way through the terminal and hope I caught a train inntime. They were calling my name last call by the time arrived at the gate. Then my connecting flight ticket would not work and a new ticket had to be issued requiring presenting my ID again
Part of the first class package is luggage. We checked our luggage in easily but our luggage should be one of the first bags off when we land. On both flights this was not the case. The lounge in Kauai is awful. Food and drinks were excellent on the flight. Service was attentive. On the flight over we arrived 45 minutes early. Like last time the same thing happened in a previous flight. The problem both times was waiting in the plane for 30 minutes so that a spot to unload could open.
Flew first class. No headrest screens on either flight and the one flight had no foot rests either.

We tried for days to use online Alaska Airline app we needed to know what Gate to depart from . When we got there we were given a paper boarding ticket with the wrong gate on it . We almost missed this flight . It caused great stress and caused a health side effect. The previous flights April 24 started hour late mechanical issues . We were not allowed to depart plane in time to get correct gate and missed our flight .
Couldn’t order food for the family because all the good food was unavailable. We opted for bringing something on with us. I also didn’t like that I had to have T-mobile for online movies. Stupid.
Wonderful respectful staff for a short flight late at night...lots of considerations all met!

Omg the disaster at the security was on another level! “Go to this end, sorry closed now, go to that end”. Ridiculous! This took over an hour! As far as the airline was concerned although I booked nearly a year ago I couldn’t get my bag tag - stand in another 15 minute line or my seat on Hawaiian Airlines- 5 more minutes! Then my TSA status was denied. Like what the heck! Makes a person not want to travel with this amount of incompetence
The Honolulu Hub needs 2 to 3 times the amount of things to do as well as shuttles that transport to/from gates and terminals. Arriving from OCONUS locations; transferring to CONUS locations its a miserable experience. Fetching and re-checking bags, then returning to a gate across the airport take longer than any other large airport. If youre confused by what I mean, the process goes like this: Disembark plane Walk a mile to the main terminal Walk half a mile to baggage claim Wait 40 minutes for baggage Walk a mile to re-check-in baggage Wait 20 minutes for checking in those bags Fo back through the wrong TSA line because the signage is poor Almost miss the connecting flight because your gate is across the airport.
Very accommodating on flight changes when something came up. Definitely felt a notch above other airlines.
Hawaiian airlines has awful customer service. Told me to keep a flight I wasn’t boarding, instead of rebooking me under two separate reservations, which caused my whole reservation to be canceled. Major issues with leadership and management. The staff at Hilo was reluctant to give me a refund, so I had to by a first class ticket in order to get on a flight the same time as my partner. The blame was pointed at me without sincere apology until the supervisor came out, who also apparently had no authority to refund me. Still waiting on correspondence from the airline days later.
I love that every seat has a USB charger. The seats were comfortable and everyone was friendly! I can't think of anything I would improve.
This flight was delayed approximately 4 hours due to bad weather in HNL.
The plane is extremely loud and there’s no place to charge devices.
Couldn’t checkin online or by phone. Contacted Hawaii and blamed me saying something was wrong on my end. Get to the airport morning of flight and a large line is formed with people who couldn’t check in online, phone, or at the kiosk. Multiple Hawaii airline staff walking around but none to help or willing to get someone to help. Had to go to other side of airport to another customer service desk to get checked in. Staff was generally rude. First and last time flying Hawaiian airlines.
My only two issues with the flight were, Flight attendants were too pushy complaining about me listening to a podcast that I could barely hear without my headphones on when nobody around me was bothered by my actions only the flight attendant. Annoying. The food was horrendous compared to other airlines food no healthy food available. Dead animal flesh and or genetically modified trash is NOT food.
Flight went very well. Cabin crew were all courteous and very helpful, always with smiles on their faces. Food was great. I always love heated nuts with wine. Flying business class with Philippine Airlines is always a pleasant experience.
Great food selection in lounge. Excellent bartender, friendly staff. Good service on the plane.
Check in process was excellent. Lounge needs improvement. Food not palatable and no good choices.
It was never explained why the departure flight was canceled and delayed for 1.5 hours. It would have been nice to stick with the original itinerary.
Many movies do not have captions, which would have been helpful when you have to live with the flight engine noise.
The checking in agent tried to give me a different seat. She tried to give me an economy seat even though I had already checked in with a seat assigned and paid an extra $300 for those seats. She also separated our seating assignment. Very unprofessional and seriously a bad example for an agent. She was rude when I showed her my receipts and she made us wait more than 15 minutes before we were able to get the right boarding passes and correct seats (seats that we paid for in advance)!!!
Flight delayed by hour for departure. No real announcements or updates until told to start boarding
Every thing was good except our baggage that wasn’t here when we arrived, we understood the cause but hopefully we will get it soon as possible
PAL Airlines is always delayed most of the time. Please try to avoid it.
The check in crew is rude. They are strict in luggage. How about you buy something in duty free and then they tell you to remove some of your stuff you’re ending up throwing everything. The crew are nice. But the seat is really hard it’s not comfortable in long flight. I’m not planning again to book a flight in Philippines airlines it could been better if you trained your check in crew to be compassionate and nice. I travel a lot in emirates qatar but never experienced anything like that.
