Long line to check in. Priority given to tours with 10 to 20 people. I did not appreciate being cut in line over and over by these people. It's not fair to the other customers to have to wait because these people are not together or organized. It's unacceptable. I was forced to wait and let people cut in line about 7 times. the obnoxious wait alone for them to go over all the passports is enough. Having to then wait additionally because people are not together is ridiculous. I might not fly this airline again just for the inconvenience.
Two coffee mugs I had bought as souvenirs were broken in my bag after I had to check it due to weight restrictions. I also had to re-check in between flights and my bag wasn't transferred for me. Attendant forgot to charge me for checking my bag on the second leg of my flight and found me at the gate so I had to leave the terminal, pay, and go through security again. 0 leg room, definitely not recommended for tall folks and no complimentary beverages.
I was told I had to pay US$30 for my small carry-on bag. Then I had to check it. Then they advised me they change my seat from the exit row to another seat. I asked for my refund that I paid for the comfortable seat and they said not possible I travel extensively and this is by far the worst check inexperience of my over 40 years of flying. I fly in exit rows every week and have never been told that I can't sit in the exit row especially after paying a premium for it.
I am handicapped and the ground and plane staff could not have been more attentive. Unlike other airlines they kept me informed of when I was to board and deplane. The flight is short and food was unnecessary. I think I was the only one one board that did not eat.
A good airline that is not confused about their market or customer base. No complaints
Very professional in the way they approach the business. Everyone is well trained. The crews English is surprisingly good. As a handicapped passenger they have the whole wheelchair routine down pat. I like this airline. The food is marginal and on the 1.5 hour flight I would discontinue food service. I even like the exterior color of the aircraft.
For a regional carrier. There is nothing to criticize
There is no luggage included with the international fare, but no warning of such until after you book. The website warns that luggage fees are higher if you pay at airport check in.
After we received the confirmation email we tried to cancel the booking but Jetstar does not allow any cancellations, even within 24 hours of booking. If you want preassigned seats they charge a fee for each in your party.
This company is like Frontier in the U.S.
We bought tickets which seemed to include luggage up to 32 kg per person.
We saw some comments that the luggage not always include so we checked that carefully.
When we checked in at the airport, we required to pay extra 40$ for 15 kg!!!
We explained to the supervisor that we sure that the luggage was included! He said it didn't and we could have checked in online 3 hours before the flight and pay 15$ for 15 kg.
We obviously didn't knew that and didn't understood that we need to pay more.
After 20 minutes he said that he understand us but can't check in the luggage for free.
He let us take more luggage to the cabin and got us seats with bigger space, but we still payed extra.
Also, less important, there was no food or water on the flight (for free).
I'll recommend on Vietnam airline. Little bit more expensive, but worth it.
