I don't blame United for the weather, but I am rather disappointed in its response to my getting stranded in my layover city for the night. United gave me a $20 food voucher. That's it. But besides this policy, the employees were incredibly helpful rerouting me to my final destination in Fort Lauderdale, FL. So overall, 8 out of 10. 10 out of 10 for flight comfort, inflight service and before flight service. 5 out of 10 for layover handling.

Santa Barbara is a super small and easy airport. Breezed through rental car return, breezed through Security, ordered a coffee and muffin and to my gate in less than 30 minutes. Maybe because it was a small airport we got the oldest plane. Hardly any overhead space and absolutely zero internet. Its NFL Sunday man! That hurt.
There were no vegan options for first class. Even though we were promised the satellite internet for free, we received NO wifi at all. Even though we were promised a 20-min early arrival, we ended up over 30 mins late.
Flight attendant incredibly rude. Stuck her finger in my drink and didn’t even have the courtesy to apologize.
food /beverage service was limited to one time which was unexpected for a flight that long. food wasn't very good.
From the boarding crew to the FAs was such a good team. All with smiles and positive energy. The pilots made an announcement of us waiting on some passengers who were late landing and I didn’t hear one person feel like it was an inconvenience which was wonderful. Massive kudos to all that worked that flight. Everyone was united. 😊💙
