They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

Several minutes later, they announce that there's a medical emergency and EMTs are on the way. Said EMT comes down the aisle with a wheelchair. I assume they took that passenger off the back, because they didn't come back by me. We finally leave the gate only to find that the weather we were supposed to get out ahead of had now rolled in, and we're stuck on the taxiway for an hour and a half. Once we finally got airborne, things went well. When we arrived at LAX, we parked in a remote area and had to bus to the terminal. So, while none of this was really anything American could have prevented, it made the flight more of an ordeal."

Needless to say connection flight is messed up and no way of knowing what that might be until arriving at airport. Then more confusion, too almost an hour to get checked in. With connecting flight of 1.5 hours which is scary for international flight that requires going through custom then recheck luggage and TSA line again. The saving grace is captain speed up place on first leg of international flight so arrived airport 1 hour early, thus allowing enough time to connect."

Having paid an additional $239 for the comfort seat in the hopes of making a 16-hour flight go by a bit faster, this was unconscionable. The food was far inferior to Hong Kong Airlines. In short, it was the trip from hell."

Cons: "Connection flight times were a little close which caused me to rush from different sections of New ark airport. I almost missed my flight home to Providence so if connecting flights could be scheduled with a little more wiggle room that would be great."

Cons: "DELAYS. I had 4 flights within a weekend all with United and EVERY flight was delayed. The plane also heading to Newark ahead of us was overbooked and some people were pushed onto our plane, not a big deal if all can fit on the plane...but we wouldn't have if it wasn't for the delay causing those flying to Boston to miss their flights. Frustrating and adds an element of concern when faced with delays when the weather is fine. The internet on the plane is also confusing to use...should be clearer. Mistakenly booked my flight before realizing the new carry on policy, so trying to pack everything into a tiny bag to meet requirements was frustrating... definitely don't think I will be booking United again."

Cons: "Flight attendants disappear after early dinner serving. They hid in the galley until breakfast service. For a 15 hr flight, this is unacceptable. They should be able to offer snacks and drinks during the flight."

Pros: "On the airplane, wonderful crews, friendly and helpful. Food was not that an important to me as much as the friendly faces helpful crew at this. Thank you UA!"

Pros: "Food was better than ever and crew was very good. Usually mid flight meal which is wonton soup is luke warm. For the first time it was hot and got hot chili delivered separately. It was actually good. Breakfast also better than usual."

Pros: "After I boarded, the flight experience was fine for a 16 hour flight. Service was great and helpful, lacked wifi but the inflight entertainment kept me satisfied. All together was pleasant."
Cons: "This flight started out a little bumpy. When I got to the gate I purchased 2 bottles of water (INSIDE SECURITY RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE GATE) only to find out at the end of the jetway, like 100 steps from where I purchased them, I had to give them up. Who would of thought, why would a human want 2 bottles of water before boarding a 16 hour flight, weird right, so that was really frustrating and just a plain waist of money. Thanks UNITED..."

Arrived at 130 a.m. next day -- not 9 p.m. lie I was supposed to arrive. United offered a $100 e-ticket gift. I do not fly very often. Could use $100 cash or free flight to Providence -- not Boston"

Cons: "First of all the flight was booked for a plane which was too large to land in Providence. So either way we were going to have a longer day and extra leg.....which I only paid for ONE plane change. After running to the gate because my first flight was late taking off, this flight was delayed due to engine issues. The agent had us standing in line for 1 1/2 hours while she tried to figure out what was going on. So instead of taking off at 5:40 pm, we took off at 9 pm and still had to catch a bus from Boston to Providence...HORRIBLE Flight = Long Day/Night"

Cons: "The gate changed twice. We were directed to a bus to take us to our flight to only be made to get back off the bus because we didn't have a crew. No one would tell us anything. Got back into the airport and then 30 minutes later got put back on the bus. The plane was disgusting, smelled like urine. The air conditioning didn't work. Terrible."
