The 787 Dreamliner was comfortable and the window tinting technology is super cool.

The bag fee is expensive. You have to pay for everything. Any type of food or drink. You even have to pay for the entertainment. It’s a budget airline. You get what you pay for.

Roomy seats, modern entertainment tech although movie choices limited

Honestly the weight limits for carryon is extraordinarily stressful and they Charge for then checking it if even 1 kg over! Would not fly again with them for this reason. Qantas has the customer first philosophy in motion! By the time you pay luggage fees, seat & meal fees, overweight carryon luggage fees, Qantas a better deal a less hassle.

Efficient boarding. Gate 31 almost at the end of airport. We will use trolley next time. The very long walk was uncomfortable Staff friendly Meal just OK, but service by staff pretty good. Their "Business Class" is glorified coach. Aircraft is excellent. We enjoyed the flight

We were worried as to weight allowance even though we were flying business. We got in just under 30kg . Similarly, we had difficulty getting carry on to 7 kg. Seats are OK but still difficult to sleep, even in business. No other alternative direct to Melbourne from Honolulu,.

I honestly can't think of a single thing I liked about this flight, but if pressed, perhaps I enjoyed the staff in Honolulu during check in. The rest was horrible. Hated it all.

Absolutely horrible. This airline is truly the Greyhound of the sky. There was an absurd amount of families on this flight with really young screaming, ill-behaved children and their indifferent parents. The flight attendants were equally indifferent and unhelpful. You get absolutely nothing for free - everything cost - food, blankets, pillows, etc. on this 10 hour flight. AND when water was requested, it was a small, mouthwash size cup with a note, that "we charge for water." $4. Wow. Probably one of the worst experiences in the air ever. I won't be back. The price was stellar, but after paying for seats, luggage and enduring the people on the flight, I'd prefer to pay more and get A LOT MORE from an airline like Virgin Australia. If you're cutting corners and trying to save money, save yourself and your sanity and spend a little more on quality airline.

Through the course of the kayak purchase process, there was never the option to pay for checked bags. With Jetstar, this means paying double later. Better to book through Jetstar direct once you have the flight details.

Jetstar offers cheap flights and if you check in early enough, you can often get your preferred seat. Great option for small people (height wise!) who want to travel light.

There’s always a risk involved when booking with jetstar. I’ve gotten lucky so far with no cancellations and some very kind flight attendants, but you really never know. There is no standard of service. You need to know that EVERYTHING costs extra so traveling light is of the utmost importance.

Carry on weight limit of ~10lbs and if more then it costs $25 a lb... really? No food included whatsoever, not even coffee or tea.

Seating was fine.

The Honolulu AP facility at midnight was completely closed down with the exception of Starbucks. There were only 2 drinking fountains in the whole place and required a search to locate them. A fellow passenger warned us that Jet Star does not even supply passengers with drinking water so I filled a bottle from one of the fountains. We discovered that Jet Star charges for every kilo of checked luggage unlike any other time I have made this flight with different airlines. I would advise anyone to think twice about using this airlines for any flights longer than 4 hours because your going to be pretty hungry and thirsty unless you want to pay $4 for 6 ounces of water. Make sure you have all the baggage costs figured into your ticket charge when you purchase a ticket from these cheapskates and make sure you carry on what you need to drink and eat. The food looked terrible.

Prices are per person and are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in USD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
