The vegan food was delicious. The stewards and stewardesses were available and friendly. The seats were bigger than the new norm. He movies and documentaries were a good selection.
The seats could be bigger. The eggs could be vegetarian.
Cabin crew is friendly. No reschedules or gate changes. Pretty straight forward to catch a plane.
First off the planes I flew on were noticeably old.

The food was gross, which could be a just a cultural difference in food tastes. There were no functioning USB charger ports on the return flight even though the ports were present. No wifi, which is a first. Most airlines I fly on these days always have some type of wifi. Lastly, the 'touch-screen' on the seat for entertainment barely worked. Buttons didn't work no matter how much you touched them. There was a delay and the selection of movies and tv were pathetic. I will not be flying Qantas again.
The crew were professional and looks the part, food was warm and tasty and they made regular checks to see if we needed water or food.
Well there were 3 crying babies for a good portion of the flight which is no fault of the airline or parents it's just something that wasn't as desirable.
The crew on both legs of our flight were great and did their very best to take care of the customers even in poor circumstances.
Our original flight from Sydney to SFO was cancelled due to mechanical issues after boarding over an hour late and then sitting in our seats on the tarmac for over 3 hours. The flight was rebooked for the next day, but on a much older and far less comfortable plane. The plane had no room of any kind, especially for a taller person, and there was no choice but to put your seat back if the person in front of you had. The inflight entertainment was also far less advanced. After having such an excellent flight to Australia I was highly disappointed by the flight home. Other than putting us in a free hotel for the night and paying for taxi fares there was no compensation which cost me a full day of work.

The people and the service were top notch. I fly on numerous carriers and overall AirNZ has been my favorite, hands down, primarily because of the helpful kind friendly staff.
Disembarking down onto the tarmac, and being made to stand out there for about 5 minutes (supposedly for safety's sake) while another plane was being pushed out from the next gate, all the while breathing in the choking nauseating jet exhaust fumes while our own plane was idling.
Everything was excellent , no complaints at all. Staff friendly and efficient,food was pretty good , wine nice good flight .
Not enough good new release movie selection was very average/ poor. Your boarding from LAX could be improved. You have two signs about Premium and economy lines for boarding! These are not obvious . There needs to be a staff member or two checking people as they arrive in a line to check they're in the correct t line . Otherwise people don't trailer until they have been in the wrong line until the reach the top of the line . Leads to frustration even before the flight begins! Otherwise great job everyone ! I purchased a $50 select economy upgrade which should have included priority boarding but it did not. That’s on the airline though, not Kayak. The airline also did not reply to an enquirer submitted weeks before the flight. Seat leg space was restricted more than average due to large black blocks in addition to the metal seat frames. Maybe that’s due to the enhanced entertainment and power outlets so can’t say it’s a complete negative.
