Cons: I upgraded to 1st class for both flights but the plane seating was very dismal and hadn't been upgraded in either of these planes for a long time. After we boarded the plane we were told that no drink, snacks or food would be offered. The attendant shut off the lights as soon as we got in the air and kept it dark in the cabin until 10 minutes before we landed. She never came around to check on us once or ask if we needed anything. I was so thirsty when we landed. I have decided that I will either go back to United Airlines or check out the 1st class options at American Airlines better next time. This might not have been their fault, I'm not sure what it was, but the flight was late landing and we took off an hour late as well which really put me behind schedule.

Pros: I decided to travel First Class from Houston TX and that was the greatest choice I ever made. IAH requires travelers to arrive 2-3 hrs early due to traffic or weather conditions. I checked in at 2 pm and waited for my 5 pm boarding call. First class was amazing! I stored my belongings without any issues. I sipped wine and dined on pasta and watched the movie Father Figures with Owen Wilson and Ed Helms. The stewardess was polite and friendly. The food was enjoyable and the passengers were friendly. The bathroom as also immaculate, I was impressed.

When asked to provide transportation the connecting flight, the rep acted put out and stated we would have to wait (mind you, the next flight wasn't scheduled to board until 1:44pm). I was then told, the rep was going to lunch and I would have to flag down a ride. Lastly, a $10.00 voucher was nothing considering most airport meals are over $10.00.

The sign kept changing...her accharine like tone telling her that boarding would begin at 1130 was unnecessary. Communicating with foreign passengers whose flight had been rebooked to this flight was very poor. Instead of asking them for the name of their baby, the gate employee kept asking them for the lap child name! This occurred over and over until finally they asked for the bany's name. The lady who is from Chicago started practically wagging her finger and just saying NO! to bags that might be too large. How she did this was overly rude even when the bag fit in the metal sizer!

We sat in the first isle directly behind firstclass yet borded. virtually last. I was told by the flight attendant that because I purchased my airfare through Kayak as opposed to the airline was the reason behind this. I had no idea that this was the case and on top of spending the additional fee for upgrading, I was disappointed. I have a 0 star for entertainment because there was no N/A as a selection choice. There were no movies or entertainment aboard this aircraft.
Cons: I had very little time to make my connection in Newark. Other airports/airlines have given me a short connection pass which has allowed passengers to make their connection with less stress. The security line inNewsrk was ridiculous. I spoke to a TSA agent who couldn’t have cared less if I missed my flight and a United representative who told me to “just try.” In the end, I had to ask other passengers if I could go ahead of them. While I made my flight with a few minutes to spare, the process could have been much easier and the United Rep could have done more. He could have just called the gate at the very least to let them know I was coming. Apathy is not an indication of good customer service.
Pros: Terrific Gate Team in Houston, who were extremely helpful with my current disability (my foot is in a walking boot). Gate agent immediately approached me once I got to the gate (via wheelchair) to see if I needed anything else. Then she took it upon herself to move my seat so that I had an empty row on the flight to prop my leg up on the flight, which was excellent customer service. She anticipated my needs & exceeded them. She signaled for me to board early, so I had enough time & space to get down the ramp. Gate agents like her are hard to find these days. I wish there were more agents like her. Flight to Indy- Plane were more spacious between the seats. My knees had 6”-8” between them & the seat in front of them. It was a new plane, so if this is the direction that United is going with their aircrafts, they will have lots of happy flyers.
Cons: It was recommended to download the United app for free inflight Enterainment once I purchased the inflight WiFi. After purchased, none of the movies or tv shows would play. It seemed like slow WiFi was making it impossible to utilize the Entertainment promoted by United.

Due to turbulence there was nothing served on the flight, which is beyond the control of the crew. They knrw ahead of time about the turbulence, perhaps they could have quickly passed out pretzels or cookie before the flight took off.

Cons: United was unorganized and they acted as if these cancellations were no big deal. Those two days that we missed could have been spent at work. Now I have wasted PTO time that I can't get back and wasted money at our resort that I wasn't able to get back. One of the agents at Bradley International Airport Sammy put her hands on my friend and screamed in her face USING FOUL LANGUAGE with a line full of people and their children waiting to check in. It was unprofessional and uncalled for. We did get police and management involved. The overall experience was terrible.
Pros: The crew was the best part of the entire awful experience. The pilots let people tour the cockpit and the stewards were very accommodating considering their rules and restrictions. With so many delays, we were able to disembark the plane and come and go as we needed till we were able to finally board for takeoff.
Cons: We all received updates every thirty minutes with a new departure time and each time we were supposed to depart, there was another delay. The first delay was caused by a seat cushion floating device not being on the plane (hour delay right there) and then for the next three and a half hours, we all were constantly being delayed due to rain. The rain was not their fault but had that cushion been properly stocked on the plane, we would have missed the storm and been on our way. A two-hour flight became an eight-hour hell. Not to mention, the plane itself smelled like a seedy bar bathroom, I had to tuck my legs underneath myself because there was absolutely no legroom, and my row mate was a belligerent drunk. Getting home at 5 am Monday morning and going straight to work was not ideal. Would have been nice to be home on the same day that my flight was scheduled.

When it did arrive, my suitcase was broken. I tried filing a claim with United and they dismissed it and stated that they were not responsible - a recurring theme from this entire experience

I couldn't consistently watch a show or movie for 3 minutes thanks to the wifi and or app on MY Samsung tablet....it's SO sad that you guys couldn't have them already installed like other airlines. This airline is already in hot water, I expected MUCH better customer service. I will do my best NOT to use them again and tell others to do the same.
Pros: First flight delayed once board to check a broken light. Then waisted 40 minutes taxiing on tarmac in Houston because they couldn't find a gate. Missed our connection. They put us up in a low end hotel overnight. Then we had our morning flight again delayed as we waited for planes to the take off, so further delays. Arrived in Costa Rica 1 hour late. Now with too many other flights so immigration packed and took another hour and twenty minutes (when we finished there was only a 5 minute wait). Thanks United

Cons: When I went to the gate in Houston to get my boarding pass for my second leg, the lady at the gate counter yelled at me because I didn't know my seat assignment even though I had already explained that I didn't know because I didn't have a boarding pass. On my original booking, I had chosen my seat to be a window, but when they rebooked me they put me in a middle seat even though there was a completely empty row in front of me. Then, to top everything off, they forced me me check my rollerboard carry-on because they said there was no more room on the plane, but when I got on I could see multiple spaces were still available. Another passenger and I were left to wait nearly 5 minutes on the jetway while the gate counter rep went to print our checked luggage tags. I asked the stewardess why I had to check mine even though there was plenty of space, and she said "it's hard to tell sometimes how much room we're going to have left." She also didn't offer any apology. All in all it was a terrible experience. I had to wait unnecessarily at various points of the travel process, had to endure a layover that was more than double what I had planned for, was forced to check my carry-on at the gate, and worst of all I missed a really important meeting. United obviously does not care at all about economy customers. Don't trust this airline! Book on Southwest or JetBlue - they actually care about customer retention!
Pros: From the Take off location in Low Angeles the United personnel was terrific...my parents both have health issues and the wheelchair..go cart service was great...
Cons: When returning from Houston to LA...i appreciated that the wheelchair service was ready when they arrived....what i didn't like was that as we entered the elevator one of the workers made a comment to his partner that there was to much weight cause the elevator made a certain noise...but not as if he was concerned more jokingly...my mother is heavy set ...she and our party thought that was rude and unnecessary...they both looked at her...i was going to bring it to there attention, but what good would of it done...so please address it....there were 2 gentlemen...one pushing my father which was a Hispanic male and the other was a black male pushing mother...the one who made the comment was the Hispanic male....and another problem was the airplane was very warm...
Cons: I didn't receive any notification that my second flight was rescheduled. The airlines had all of my information and I verified it was correct; however, the airlines did not know why I didn't receive a notification. Also, I spent more than 14 hours trying to get home. What should have taken 5 hours ended up being 14 hours with12 spent at one airport. I'm exhausted, fatigued, and annoyed with how this day is going. I thought I was going to be on the next available flight, but that meant one of four standby personnel on a flight overbooked by 2 people. But hey, I still have my health
Cons: Because the flight to Houston sat on the tarmac for so long, no one was able to get food in the airport before boarding this flight. I was at the back of the plane and there was NO fresh food available once the flight attendants reached the last 6-10 rows. Unacceptable that there is not enough food options for all passengers. By the time I landed in Panama, I had not eaten for 13 hours.
Pros: I survived.
Cons: Just before takeoff we had to abort and the crew slammed on the brakes. It was entirely frightening. We sat on the runway for a long time after that while the crew did not have clear answers for what was happening or why. Several things happened while we were on that plane that were unnerving for the passengers. So much so that at least one passenger threw up. Very scary. We did end up taking that plane on to our destination two hours later, but it was the worst flight experience of my life.
Pros: The crew was very friendly and efficient. They were extremely helpful with our requests. The entertainment was good, I was able to watch a movie the whole flight home.
Cons: We were expected to land at 5pm and did not land until 5:20pm. Upon arrival, the line to immigration was ridiculous. The machines were super slow and kept freezing. It took an hour before we could get to the X-ray line. At this point we had already missed the original time of our flight. Luckily the flight was delayed 30 minutes. After going through the x-ray machines we ran to our gate only to find out it had been changed and delayed again. We made it to our flight which was now rescheduled to depart at 7:23pm. After sitting in the plane for 45 minutes we did not depart until 8pm making our landing 2 hours after the original time.
Pros: The associate at the desk confused my flight for the next flight. I was given the wrong information and I watched my plane depart from the gate. Upon realizing that employees of that gate had left, and we're not coming back, I had to ask passing personnel about my flight to find that it left already and that I had already been rebooked without being notified. I now had to fly from Houston to Chicago to Nashville. The new flight boarded almost 2 hours later than expected, and upon landing in Chicago, I had already missed my connecting flight to Nashville by 35 minutes apparently. Unacceptable.
Pros: We were early for our flight. The flight was canceled 30 minutes before boarding, with no reason. United handed us a card and told us customer service would help us. Although we were booked on a flight the next day, it was on AMERICAN with a connecting flight. We waited in customer service line for an hour, to be told we would get only a discount on a hotel for the night. Not 100% paid for. We then waited another hour to be told our bags were already at our destination. No food vouchers. Just a goddamned headache. Horrible.

Cons: My flight was canceled and I was never notified. I never got a text or an email. I was also allowed to board the wrong flight, and sat there until another customer boarded with the same seat assignment. If that hadn't happened, I would've flown all the way to Oklahoma on the wrong flight, with no luggage. Not to mention, it's probably a lapse in security. That's how I learned that my flight was canceled.The United phone line was not helpful. Then, I stood in line FOREVER. After 2 hours of standing in line, they set up a dedicated line, and all of a sudden it was helpful. I'm never not flying southwest again. I'm praying my luggage makes it to where I'm going. AND no wifi on either flight. That really sucks.

Cons: Our flight was delayed because the pilot wasn't there. I feel like this sort of thing always happens with united. When I went to ask for help about my connecting flights I was treated like I was the one inconveniencing them. And the response I got was there's nothing we can do if you miss your connecting flight the only one going out today is at 10 pm but it's completely full already. I feel like it was the worst customer service and while I realize the lady I spoke to was probably not the one responsible for the captain being Mia she could have been more kind and more helpful by 100%

And even went as far as saying "I really need a drink after this one" when the passenger overhead his first comment and asked him why he's being so rude to her family and no one else. Also didn't bring us or the passenger behind us any water when we asked, and when asked again, he rudely said "You will have to wait, can't you see I only have two hands. I haven't gotten to your row yet" which he had, and passed, which is why the man behind us mumbled to us, and we made a request too.

Cons: Crazy flight attendants. I've never seen people with less patience. Was snapped at for asking for tea when they were taking my drink "order", because she started rolling the cart away and didnt seem like she was coming back so the guy next to me asked if she had heard me. Lady rolled her eyes at me like a teenager and belittles the poor guy for a few minutes. Saw another flight attendant nearly get in a fight with another passenger because she couldn't communicate and wasn't on board with whatever the other flight attendants had told her to do. Probably time to discuss stress management or have some of these people take a break to decompress because it's stressful being trapped with a bunch of jerks who are supposed to be helpful

Would I ask if i knew the particulars of all the plane sizes in your fleet. I asked because I needed one and do not study the amenities of each plane. Try some politeness with the "idiocy" of passengers slammed into a window seat by your automated seating computer. Next. To fill out the forms provide please offer a pen. You can put your name on it if you like, make it a gimme pen. I tried internet unsuccessfully, then joined United Club to get wifi, only to discover after too late its only at the airport; then tried go go wifi; only to discover we flew out of range, again no notice that there was a particular range - your inflight ap services are not friendly revealing the shortcomings of a purchase.
Cons: They cancelled my flight into Hartford. I got stuck in Houston then they sent me to Boston. My car was at Bradley international on Boston so I had to wait a few hours when I landed at Logan before a rental car became available, which cost me an extra 200 dollars. I rented the car and drove to Hartford (2 hours) to drop the rental off and get my car. Needless to say I was exhausted for work on Tuesday after getting home at 3am and traveling all day. My original flight from Houston to Hartford was suppose to land at 8pm at Bradley airport. I had several people I was on the trip with who also flew into Hartford the same day with similar arrival times at bradley who were on different airlines. They either had small delays or no delays at all. Extremely inconvenient the trip home was. Although I am all for safety first I am not sure why other airlines still made the trip or simply delayed the flights. Delayed due to losing log sheet after everyone already boarded, $45 checked bag (ridiculous), no complimentary drinks have to pay $2.99, flight was FREEZING to the point where I couldn’t sleep and I didn’t sleep the night before, talked about their credit card for way too long like they were in dire need of your business, landed and had no one to bring the walkway so we could get off the plane. Very disappointed in this airline

Cons: There are too many additional fees. It's bad enough that I had to pay for a carry on bag....but to actually have to pay for a seat!!??? I thought my fare paid for a seat? I know I would still get a seat if I didn't pay, but I would have no idea where that seat would be until boarding. I'd rather the price of the ticket be raised by $60 and I get a free carry on and choose my seat. I paid $70 For bags and $56 for seating. And what's worse, the seats were TERRIBLE. They used to be a go to, now I will run from Frontier if I can help it.

Cons: It's cramped and there isn't even water. When you add the expense of a bag and a drink, it usually is more expensive than other carriers that don't charge for these things.
Pros: I guess it was the cheapest flight option, but adding the baggage fees it probably was not. The crew was friendly and fun despite not knowing what was going on with my layover, but that was probably not their fault.
Cons: Had a two-segment flight and was only given one boarding pass (it was the same plane and flight number for both flights and same seat), which gave me trouble getting on both flights as it wouldn't scan properly. Asked several crew/desk folks about this and no one seemed to know what the deal was. Had to pay for what would have normally been a carry-on, which was not explained before purchase. Bags took an hour to get to baggage claim, which was heightened by the fact that I did not want to check my bag but I did since it would have been $40 to carry it on ($30 for checked). Overall was not a huge fan. Would be worth flying if it was several hundred dollars cheaper than other airlines, but in this instance it was not.
Pros: We had a very simple flight down from Denver to Houston. We were going on a cruise after the holidays. The airline lost our luggage and then every single associate that we talked to was rude, unhelpful and seemed to make the situation worse. As we needed our luggage for the cruise I was on the phone for a good majority of our first day on vacation getting little, to no help. Finally I was able to get help from the service that actually delivers the luggage. 5 stars for them! When I spoke to someone on the phone after all of thos they agreed to refund part of my luggage fees but I would like to have them all refunded as I paid a lot of money to even gt the bag on the flight and I did not receive what I paid for. Overall it is doubtful that I will ever fly Frontier again, and I will NEVER Suggest them to my friends or family. Terrible experience to say the very least.
Cons: at 4:30 pm I had a text alert that the flight was delayed by 8 hours yet there was nothing done to replace crew who were going over their max hours. The pilot and both stewardess told different stories. At 1 am in the morning they claimed they were looking for replacements. It is bad enough having a flight canceled and having to drive 840 miles or wait up to 2 days to be rescheduled....but to have blatant lies told was even worse. Then cancel due to weather...when that was not the case..so baggage fees cannot be refunded. The baggage fees were almost as much as the airfare.
Cons: When I arrived two hours early to my flight, it was the first time I heard it had been cancelled. Apparently, due to weather. They said the only time they could get me out would be three days from then or they could refund me. No, they refused to pay for another ticket. So, I had to spend $435 on a ticket for later in the day when I had spent $130. Then, I look to Denver's weather and its perfect for the day. I call my mom, she's outside without a jacket! Where is the weather pray tell Frontier. This is the third and last time I ever use Frontier. Frontier is the worst airline I have ever used.
Pros: Takeoff, flight, and landing were smooth. Price was great. Plane appeared new. I arrived at my destination safely, and so did my luggage.
Cons: Grumpy passengers complaining about the one hour delay and being rude to employees and flight crew. Mass confusion at the airport. TSA closed at one end of the terminal, so wandered a bit before figuring that out, with the help of a security guy who said, "Let me guess, you're flying Frontier." Had a total of 4 different gates before we finally boarded a plane, and every time we arrived at a different gate it still said some other city. Very little communication from the airline regarding delay and gate changes. Also told us the wrong baggage claim upon arrival. Baggage fees are a little excessive, but the price of my flight was SO cheap that I can hardly complain about that, since I travel light.

Cons: This was supposed to be a round trip ticket. My original flight from Las Vegas to Houston was delayed and delayed and then finally cancelled. I was checking your app religiously and it wasn't until BOARDING ( 12:20 in the morning) that it said the flight had cancelled. Your employees just ignored me when I went to the front desk to ask what I was supposed to do. They finally took notice of me and said the best they could do was TWO days later. I don't live in Vegas so I asked where I was supposed to stay and they said they couldn't help me with that. You were going to let me sleep in an airport for two days! I asked what I was supposed to do about food and you said you'd email me a food voucher (you didn't) and you said you would email me a 200 dollar voucher for my next flight (which you didn't)! I had to find someone to help me buy a different flight on a different airline because of how UNhelpful you all were. The most disappointing and absolutely terrible traveling experience I've ever had. I don't know when or if I will ever fly with you again.

Cons: Frontier Changed my flight a few days before take off and had to change around all my plans for transportation. Gave us a much later flight and were not offered any compensation for switching to a much cheaper flight initially. There were no water option or snack that were complinentary and for a 2.5 hour flight that seems ridiculous to me. Not please with the hidden bag fees ($30-35 per person)and seat charges ($13-18). Better off going with a pricier ticket to start with. Download the app it is helpful to pull up boarding pass and add your seat and bags. The website is confusing with its dumb perks pop up page that no one understands. So do your research before booking with frontier. Wish I had.
Cons: I didnt like the fact that I couldn't talk to someone here in the United states for frontier. I didn't like that when I called customer service I was instructed to do the wrong thing and fill out the wrong form. And most of all I really hated that my flight was cancelled and my money put into a "shell credit" and when I went to re book the fight it cost 3 times the amount than I originally paid. Overall this has been a horrible experience and I will be tell everyone I know and even people I don't know via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and snap chat about my experience . Overall I feel your service and your service provider failed miserably.

Cons: The level of understanding in regards of cheaper flights mean increase on other ends, but to pay $40 for a carry-on/$30 for checked-in baggage is a blind-sided downer. One gets what one pay for.
Cons: Well my plane was supposed to board at 8:25 a.m. and leave at 9:10 a.m., however it had not arrived yet. After the plane arrived, it took the crew quite some time to get all of the passengers off. When we did get on the plane, there was another long wait because they were short on bag rampers. After all of the delays, my plane exited Denver at or around 10:50 a.m. Throughout all of this the stewardesses were quiet and didn't explain the delays. It wasn't until quite some time that I requested as to why we hadn't left yet. There were more issues when the flight arrived in Indianapolis. It took approximately 10-12 minutes until the jetway was even connected to the plane. Finally, I'm off the plane and I get to the baggage claim and I was there waiting for my bags for about 30 minutes. It's the first time that I've had any of these issues as a flyer and it's also the first time that I've used Frontier. This flight isn't one of my first flights either as the military has had me flying all over the US in recent months. Looking at this experience, I think that has more to do with the company itself rather than a random flight experience.
Pros: The flight attendants were wonderful.
Cons: Frontier managed to lose our seats on our return flight blaming it on mysteriously "being unchecked" in their system. This caused is quite the panic when we were asked to step aside in line as our boarding passes were not being accepted in their scanner. A supervisor came just in the knick of time to tear off a piece of paper with a written seat number on it which would then suffice as our passes to get on the plane. To top it off, they lost half our planes luggage. I can see how their prices are so low as they skimp in all other major areas.

Cons: The seats are too crowded, even for a person who is only 5; 4" tall like I am. They were hard and uncomfortable. I don't like having to pay for everything--including extra money to get a seat. The flight was late getting into Orange County. Then Frontier lost my bag. It was not until the next day that they brought my bag to me the next day. Thankfully Frontier waived my bag fee. I won't fly Frontier again just like I'll never fly Spirit again, and I've recommended that my family not fly Frontier. We will fly either Southwest (the best), or United.

Pros: Sat on tarmac 19 minutes before able to pull into gate in Denver. Unacceptable. Baggage fees are ridiculously expensive. Will NEVER fly this carrier again.
Cons: As soon as the entire flight was boarded and seated we were told that we were waiting "a few minutes" for 12 passengers on a connecting flight from Seattle. This was a midnight flight and we did not pull away from the gate until after 1am. We sat on the plane for over an hour waiting for these passengers with no update from the crew. There must have been something wrong with the air conditioning, because I have never had such little air flow from the individual blower on any flight I have ever been on. It was like when they turn off the plane as passengers de-board, but that was the air temperature and air flow of the entire flight. Out of the pilots control, but we experienced the worst turbulence I have ever experienced. We were flying directly into a storm with bright lightning. Again, other than the fasten seat belt sign, there was no communication from flight attendants or crew as to what was going on. There were several times I was genuinely worried about whether the plane would level back out. This was easily the worst flight of my life.

Cons: Frontier misleads customers with a price that compares favorably with competitors while you are searching for fares. But, once you have selected the flight and already given your credit card number for payment you find out that there are extra charges each flight to choose your seat and for both checked and carry-on luggage. All food and drinks during the flight are at an extra price and the seats do no recline at all. So, my uncomfortable flight ended up being a higher price than other carriers. And finally, I have Pre-check privileges when going through security, but Frontier does not participate in the program, so I waited in very long lines. Last time.

I might have considered another airline if I had known you were going to bend me over at the gate.Very misleading on the fares. Should be in big flashing letters. "HEY IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE CARRY ON IT"S $40 BUCKS EACH WAY! The new SLIMLINE PRE-RECLINED SEATS were not comfortable. The fact that even a small snack or drink was charged for was also a disappointment. Why not just be honest about your fares and and raise them a little say maybe 5.00 dollars and allow 1 carry on with an additional laptop bag or purse? Very misleading in that respect. But I give them props (pun intended) for being on time. That was the best part. I'd give them and over all 3.9 just because of the misleading stuff. Otherwise they would have gotten a 5 out of 5.

Cons: I was in the middle seat and paid $6.00 to get a seat near the front of the plan as it is sometimes difficult for me to get to the back with all the pople and sounds as I have frequent vertigo. Right before take off I noticed several rows of seats completely empty and asked if I could move to one of those seats. Supprisingly I was tolld no. When I asked she said because people pay mor for those seats. For the comfort of the 2 other people and myself...I just thought it made since they were pretty much the same. These seats were not being utilized by anyone...no one had paid to sit there..not like Casper the friendly Ghost was on board and it would have made a more comfortable flight . Just found that a little peculiar. Some thing to think about if someone else ever asks????

Cons: The carry on baggage fee that I was informed of as I was boarding, causing delay to other passengers while other guests and myself are waiting to pay for a bag, or forced to throw items away. There is no reason for a carry on bag the size of a backpack to cost $30. I understand most airlines have started charging these fees now, but it is ridiculous to get to the airport and have to pay for every bag. I can buy a flight for $54 and end up paying twice that much just in baggage fees. Also why do the room in the seats seem to get smaller every time, no headrest, and I can barely fit a book on my tray table. A few money saving techniques male the flight that much less comfortable
Cons: Worker at the gate was not friendly at all but crew on board was better. I had my 83 year old mother traveling with me & the cramped seating was a little too aggressive. After everyone boarded, they were still trying to sell some of the empty extra legroom seats and I feel at that point they could have sold them at a bargain. I hated to rate Entertainment a 2 but there wasn't any at all. Ive been flying Frontier for about 6 years and it's a shame they now charge for carryons and have been charging for seating for awhile. I'm sure I will fly frontier again in the near future but I feel that the extra charges took a lot away from the excitement of obtaining a good deal. The pilot seemed very competent and friendly.
Cons: I was helping my mother - in - law check in and board - she needed wheel chair assistance. We were in line to drop off a bag that we had checked in online an hour before the flight. There were 5 people in the line with only 2 reps helping. Since I hadn't printed the boarding pass, I tried to print the pass at the self-help kiosks getting the message that I needed to see an agent. The cut-off for checked in baggage is 45 mins before the flight, however the reps were making no effort to expedite the service. In 15 mins they had helped 2 people making us the 3rd in line and the line had grown to an additional 5-6 people behind us. 45 mins before the flight they refused to take in any bags for checking - in. Since I was able to take the checked in bag with me, I asked that the agent print the boarding pass for my mother in law and call for wheel chair assistance. The agent called for wheel chair assistance but refused to print the boarding pass! The one thing that the ticketing / check in agent should be able to do is to print a boarding pass for a reservation that is fully paid. Because of this my mother in law had to miss her flight and we paid an additional $99 to get onto the next flight. I was so taken aback when the agent refused to print the boarding pass, that I did not even know how to convince her to do her job. This is probably the worst experience I have ever had with any airline!
Pros: Very nice crew. Arrived early. Modern spiffy cabin, seats are molded on backs so a bit more room for passengers. I loved being able to add a tip on food bill, a way of expressing appreciation for the crew has been missing for too long.
Cons: Seats don't recline! I think my back started to hurt because I couldn't change seat; standing up helped. There's no charge for carrying on personal items but I saw a family with personal size shopping bags that was shocked to learn that a carry on suitcase wasn't a personal item and woul cost $60 (can that be right?). I tried to help them and could see that their English wasn't too strong. They hadn't understood the clear written rules and were severely punished to the point of crying - they won't fly Frontier again.

Cons: Flight was over two hours late. When booked through Kayak I thought the price would include my seat, but I had to actually pay more to have a seat. The seats don't recline and the cheaper the seat the more expensive it got. I don't know if that is Frontier or Kayak to charge extra on top of the flight to actually have a seat, but that is ridiculous. The staff was great but they didn't announce when the boarding started and it wasn't on the monitors through out the airport with the correct boarding time.
Cons: Its our first time to try frontier and will definitely be our last. Seating is horrible, flight was delayed, luggage pick up was delayed.
Pros: When I boarded and saw the thin, molded seats I braced myself for a long, uncomfortable flight, however to my surprise the seat was the most comfortable Economy seat I have sat in over the last few years. Nothing on United, Americannir Delta compares. Nicely done! In other reviews people have complained about the cost of stowing carry on luggage. I found the disclosures about the fees very clear and easy to understand, which enabled me to select the best option for me. Even when the beverage cart came by and I requested a Coke Zero (which they had!) the flight attendant, verily politely reminded me that they do charge. As I told her, at 30,000 ft, $1.95 seems very reasonable for a can of soda. There were no surprises, and the staff was great. I will definitely fly again.
Cons: The fact you pay $30-60 to check a bag and even more for a carry on. The fact our flight was 2 hours late and they did not use any empathy or have any kind of reasoning as to why it was so late. Flight attendants rude to couple about their son being handicap and wasn't able to sit in emergency exit row. They get you with the cheap airfare but then after tacking the $60 for bags $60 for taxi after our ride couldn't pick us up at the airport at 2:30am it was not worth it. I will never fly on frontier again acter this joke of an experience.
Pros: The crew on the way back from Denver were funny and kind and extremely helpful. The flight itself was fine.
Cons: The prices for the trip. I wish I were explained that I would have so many different prices added on to the trip price. Carry-On price, seat price, Checked bag price (why are they different prices?). Only complimentary drink is water. The trip is more ideal for a weekend trip where all you need is a backpack that can fit under the seat. Then the pricing wouldn't be so bad.

Pros: Southwest is pretty much my only other option to fly diect from MCO to IND. Southwest would charge me 3X as much for basically the same experience. Sure, Southwest might not charge me $1.99 + tip for a can of soda, but that's because they charge me $100s more on the airfare. I'll take $1.99 can of soda any day. The flight was on time. Boarding was simple and stress-free. The crew was friendly and efficient. The seats were a bit cramped, but not intolerable for a 2 hr flight. I could have purchased an aisle seat for about $30 more, which would still be cheaper than Southwest, but I chose to save money instead. I like having that choice. My baggage arrived intact and on time. Why would I fly with any other airline at these savings?
Cons: I wasn't happy to hear that Frontier charges for everything. I also hated that because I was 5 minutes late to checking in, because apparently after 45 minutes you aren't supposed to check in. So they charged me $40 for a carry on, that I couldn't even get checked in.
Cons: I had a prior international flight that landed at 5AM that morning. I hustled through customs to try to make this flight. I asked multiple TSA agents how worried I should be about making my Frontier flight and I was assured that I would have time to make it. After running through the A Terminal, I got to my gate and the doors were already closed and no agent was there. I feel let down by the TSA agents.

Pros: Crew were polite, but one did not take her time to look at every passenger when picking up the last trash. She walked by us very quickly without looking at all. When I asked if I could give her our trash when she was on her way back to her seat, she said, “we’re all done now, sorry” and she kept walking. The pilots did a wonderful job during take off, during our flight and landing! We’re all blessed for such a safe flight.
Cons: Zone 4 appears to be the largest zone to board the plane and did in fact take the longest. I think the zones could be broken up better and should be so that apart from the benefit of boarding early, the rest of the paying passengers don’t have to wait for long periods of time to board, our satisfaction should matter too. Also, my 5 year old was super sad and disappointed that the flight did not serve snacks (even though we ate while waiting at the gate for our flight to arrive). He looks forward to the snacks that many airlines serve aboard. Just thought I’d mention that.

Cons: Our flight from Houston to Vegas was delayed for four hours. Once we got to the airport, Spirit informed us that they were tacking on an additional hours worth of delay for a grand total of five hours. I asked if we could be moved to another airline and the guest services person looked at me as if I was speaking a foreign language and had no concept of what it was I was requesting. The terminal area around Spirit was filthy. It stood out just how unkempt the area was at our gate. Can’t blame this solely on Spirit but it definitely left an impression. Finally boarded after five plus hours and once on, that’s when I realized leg room was not really a thing on Spirit. I was literally sitting spread eagle because if I tried to sit straight, my knees would then be digging into the person in front of me. That wasnt an issue for the screaming children behind me, however. They had absolutely no problem karate choopin’ my chair for pretty much the entire three hour flight. The one bright spot was the crew, they were great but not enough to offset the overall experience which was thoroughly miserable.

Cons: Ridiculous trip cancellation policy, even WITH the trip insurance I paid extra for. Most uncomfortable seats I've EVER sat on on any airliner (didn't recline, cheap plastic with no padding, CRAMMED to the max). Tray table was roughly the size of my phone, wouldn't be able to pull a laptop out to get work done even if I wanted to. $55 unexpected cost of carry-on bag per person is downright THIEVERY. Red eye flight and lights were not dimmed, air flow was turned way down almost to the point of non existent so it was stifling hot. No help was given to the mother of the crying toddler who screamed the entire 3 hour and 20 minute flight (at least offer a free cookie or something to help sooth popping ears or anxiety for Christ's sake!). Absolutely WORST airline I've ever flown with and will NEVER fly with you again.
Cons: I understand that delays are part and parcel of the flying industry, but, who would update passengers? Had I not checked the flight status on google I would have never known. When we purchase tickets we do submit an email id, don't we? Then why is it so difficult to just send updates to that email. It was not until I subscribed to Spirit Airlines flight updates that I was issued updates that were late and outdated. For example: I got an email at 10:50PM that the flight take off was at 11:11PM instead of 11:56PM. I know it is imperative that passengers reach the airport atleast 2 hours before take off. But who would imagine/expect Spirit not to accommodate help when the TSA check to their terminal is closed.
Pros: Once I boarded and found MY seat actually there, right where it was supposed to be, and we departed early, pleasant attendants (way nicer and knowledgeable than on-line booking crew!), uncrowded plane, no frantic, rude rush to get us through snack service, early arrival, uncomplicated, speedy disembarking, maybe, just maybe , I'll fly Spirit again. Now that I know all the ropes, rules, fine-print, etc.I'll price to see if it's really worth the drive to TIA, the parking expense, all the add-ons, or if it's easier and less agita just to leave from SRQ, my down-the-street airport and maybe just a few $$ more.

I just read some reviews: people are rude loud and angry because of your online process I know you claim bare costs, but we are still giving you our hard-earned miney. We do it because we cant fly first-class (-$$$-) so dont make us feel like we are settling for steerage. It's a lot of money to us!
Cons: I had my flight from Detroit to Houston scheduled for Sunday around 7 am arriving to Houston at 9 am. They sent me a message on Saturday at 9 pm stating that my itinerary had change and now I was going to leave from Detroit at 3 pm arriving to Minneapolis at 5 PM and needed to wait in Minneapolis 5 hours to leave to Houston around 10 PM and arriving almost at 1 am on Monday! Total waste of time. Also on the way back I had a carry on bag that supposedly was too big and I needed to pay 57 USD extra. They advertise it as a low fare airline but then with all the added charges they have it is almost as if you were flying with a better quality airline
Pros: we had a safe flight, no major issues, and were able to get off the plane quickly.
Cons: I had to pay $97 to check my bag...kinda defeats the purpose of booking a cheap flight. This was by far the smallest seating space I've ever had...I'm 5'9 so normally I don't have an issue with this but my knees were about an inch away from the seat in front of me and I had no space to move around. The headrests were hard as a rock, and I could feel a metal bar in the middle of the seat poking out at my back. The seats don't go back, there was no entertainment whatsoever, not even a magazine to read. The main lights were left on during the 4.5 hour nighttime flight. There was not even a complimentary cup of water...$3 for water. It was also freezing in the plane and there was a 2 hour delay for no apparent reason. Look up the fees they charge for everything before you book with Spirit.
Cons: Told agents that my wife is Russian, but is a permanent resident, so they told me to put the resident card number on her reservation, but did not mention anything about her Russian passport being needed. So once we discovered that we needed my wife's passport, I contacted Uber to pick me up. take me home, so I could get her passport, but, since her reservation was in her married name, the agent had to redo her reservation to her maiden name and we missed our flight. Also, since I had already checked in with one bag, the bag made the flight without us, as it was not in the Houston airport.

Cons: The planes were alarmingly old. They were not comfortable and while I'm sure they do safety checks, there was so much flexing, rattling, and groaning that it did not feel safe. On our way out of the country - they did not have pens to fill out the customs forms, and told us that if we made a mistake we were out of luck because they didn't have extras. It should be more clear (before purchase) that the price for any bag (even a carry on) is so high - it raises the price of the ticket $100 which is significant On arrival in US they NEVER told us what carousel our bags were on, it was not posted, even on the carousel... it took us forever to find them

Cons: Flight was delayed for THREE hours. They sat me in the very back row by the wall, where there's no window. I was literally sitting in the corner. The flight attendant was a funny gay guy who spent more time flirting with a passenger on the plane than anything else. He made it apparent he didn't wanna be bothered by anyone else. The flight was extremely turbulent the entire way. Which made it hard to even nap after boarding 3 hours late. I couldn't look out a window...I couldn't nap...I couldn't read because of the turbulence...literally the only thing I could do was stare at the seat in front of me for 2+ hours. They didn't even offer complimentary snacks or beverages, we had to pay to eat or drink. SHITTY AND UNCOMFORTABLE! But at least nobody dragged me off the plane, so that's a plus.

Cons: I was charged for carrying on my roll on bag because of its shape. While my brother on the same flight carried on an even larger backpack.But, it was considered a personal item. Also because we did not wish to pay even more to pick our seats, we were assigned the last row on the plane where the fuselage begins to taper towards the tail of a plane. Therefore it there was not nearly enough shoulder room for my brother and me. Overall the discomfort, lackadaisical staff, and shrewd penny-pinching policies insured that I will never fly Spirit Airlines again.
Pros: Started off OK but then we quickly downhill flight was canceled due to fog in San Diego so I never made it onto the plane.
Cons: Weather delay with fog in San Diego. Not Spirit's fault but they delayed for an hour and a half and then cancel the flight. As they canceled the flight they came around with cards with a number to call to rebook or change your itinerary. I called the number on the car rather than getting right in line at the desk. By the time I got through on the phone it would have been 10 to 15 minutes. They told me that since I was halfway through my return trip they couldn't do anything over the phone. So then I had to get in line and wait. I was the last person served. They offered me a flight to days later at the same time 9:45 PM that was unacceptable so I ask for something else and he somehow turned out they had a Houston Chicago San Diego flight that leaves tomorrow morning at seven. Very disappointed in the handling by the rebooking staff on the phone the gate agents were very friendly but very overworked and stressed. Service manager was there and he put me on a call back on the phone but that didn't help either. Not flying spirit again anytime soon.

Cons: The 40 pound weight limit on checked baggage is both surprising and infuriating. Then the 30 dollar additional fee is completely asinine if you are between 40 and 50 pounds on that checked bag. Also your fee for a carry-on bag is completely ridiculous. I ended up transferring weight from my checked bag to my backpack to avoid the 30 dollar additional fee. The result was that the airplane weighed the exact same as before I transferred weight, and Spirit airlines angered their customer. I was courteous to all the staff but I would rather pay more for a flight, have better customer service, better baggage policies, and avoid all the nickle and dime charges that Spirit employs. I think I just took my first and last flight on Spirit. Good luck to you!
Cons: After years of hearing negative things about Spirit, I never could relate because my experiences had always been great. However, this last experience was the worst. I was on a 7 day cruise through Carnival that got delayed an entire day with docking to return home, due to heavy fog, and Spirit was not understanding nor did they accommodate me, and made me purchase a one-way flight back home after I had already purchased a round trip flight. The one-way flight was more than my round trip. This was a huge inconvenience. Other airlines honored the boats delay and let their customers fly back home with no extra charge.

Cons: Literally everything else. I could not have had a worse experience. Spirit's online system changed unexplainedly changed our address without our knowledge, therefore preventing me from checking my fiance in online. I spent too much time attempting to talk to them about it over the phone, and ended up being late to leave for the airport. On the drive there, I was able to get ahold of a customer service representative on the phone who purchased my fiance's luggage, seat, and checked her in over the phone. We arrived 43 minutes before the flight, and were turned away while attempting to check in her bag, being told that she was not checked in for the flight, and it was now past the mandatory 45 minutes before flight time and would not allow her aboard. I spent the next 2 hours arguing with customer service, where they accused me of lying and said that they don't even offer to check in people over the phone. I could go on, but it was absolutely awful, and we weren't able to be placed on a flight until the next morning.

Cons: From the booking process 5 months ago trying to fix an incorrect date I put in (had to cancel and rebook) English was not understandable. To their online problems. Couldn't get online to save paying an outrageous fee for luggage and online booking. Met with the standard go online and complain ? Rude unresponsive employees that garble off phrases so often and so fast as to be incomprehensible. Misinformation by the flight crew as to where the luggage would be. Smallest cramped seats I've ever been in. NEVER AGAIN. (this is not like me, I'm usually very easy going)

Cons: WARNING: MUST PAY FOR CARRY ON BEFORE GATE. Spirit wants $45 for a carry on bag, and apparently $100 if you don't realize it before you get to the gate. I don't even know how much for checking one. So unless all you have is a handbag, add $90 per bag to the cheap looking price. Seat reservations are janky and can also cost you money. There's no app to check in, reserve seats, or view your flight, and their website has a terrible mobile user interface. The crew doesn't even ask if you want something, they just walk up and down with trash bags. That said, they were polite, professional and friendly. I guess you flag them down if you want to spend a bunch of money on Chex Mix and a soda or expensive beer. You have to pay to even get water or peanuts. There is no entertainment. The seats do not recline. If you have never flown Spirit, you're probably thinking "all that is too ridiculous to be true," which is what I thought when my Uber driver started warning me. Nothing above is exaggerated, just the facts. Never again.
Cons: The flight was overbooked and I was the extra passenger. The last passenger before me was from Africa and was unable to pay the $100 for the second bag she had at the gate. Your staff did not allow her in board, hence I made it. Your staff showed absolutely no empathy with the passenger, parroting that she had to pay otherwise she couldn't get on and at the stroke of 7:45am, they printed my ticket. The supervisor was just plane ride to her and me for interceding on her part. It was appalling to see such un-American hospitality! Spirit Airlines should be ashamed of such employee behavior.

Cons: Both of our flights were delayed for two hours with no explanation. Other airlines didn't seem to be having the same problems. It is rediculous that they charge for bags and that they are the only airline with a 40 pound weight limit when all of the others are 50 pounds. They charge $10 just to print the boarding passes at the airport. All of this they claim saves you money on the fare, but with all of the nickel and diming that they do to you after you purchase the ticket, it is much more affordable to go with another airline. I will choose some one else to fly with next time.

Cons: Where to start... I understand the concept of a base fee and you pay a la carte for everything else but this only really works for a single person traveling with a small personal item ONLY. You are literally charged for EVERYTHING. Which is mostly stated on their website with the exception of the checked bag and carry on fees of $50 and $55, respectively. Those fees can vary depending on who you ask....And even though they say you can save by using the kiosk ($20 to go to the counter), we ended up going to the counter anyway because the kiosk could not complete our transaction!!! On our return, we had to go through customs which requires you to get your checked bag (decided to save the $5 and check it on the way home), go through customs and then drop off your checked bag to continue your flight. Well, the Spirit representative decided it would be a great time to take a break and be completely MIA from their post. We had to go completely out of the terminal and back to a counter to recheck our bag. Resulting in a very close call on not making our connecting flight. The long and short of it all: We "Saved" $100.00 total on the initial ticket purchase. We paid over $220.00 ADDITIONAL to have our one carry on and sit next to each other ($20.00 each seat, each leg of trip). Never flying Spirit again and have been telling everyone not to. Bad Spirit!
Cons: Nothing is complimentary, all snacks and drinks for purchase are inexcusably expensive when other companies provide for free, hefty fee for checked bags and carry-on 40-50$ paid to and from which makes up the difference for their cheap flights (not much cheaper than JetBlue or American) my luggage was left in the city I was visiting and when I asked for a refund for my returning checked bag fee, I was denied because I paid cash at check-in and it wasn't on my reservation (obviously I had paid to have it flown because it was supposed to go on board). All in all terrible experience and not worth the 25$ travel voucher I received--which doesn't even cover cost of luggage 1-way--because I'll honestly never fly spirit again.

Cons: I hated that we were charged 50$ for a carry on! And then we have to pay for our seats and drinks and everything. I know this is supposed to be low cost but I could have gotten a first class ticket at another airline and much better food and service than this. At the boarding terminal, the lady told me, after I waited in line all afternoon, that I had to go back and get my printed boarding pass from the kiosk. What airline can't print the pass at the desk! When I told her I needed to check my carry on when I purchased a carry on price, she got lazy and wouldn't check it so she printed out my boarding the pass there. Lies! I will never fly this airline again unless they paid me to!

Cons: I chose Spirit because of its cheap flight price so I didn't expect a high quality of service. For example, I didn't expect a very comfortable seats or meals in the flight. But, there are some instances which are not dependent to the price/money like politeness of the flight attendant/employees or responsiveness of the boarding member. On the flight day, me and the other fellow traveler were waiting for the boarding but the gate was closed and no body was standing at the front of the boarding desk. Also, there was no LCD screen to show that this gate is assigned for the Houston or any other places. The time was passed from the original boarding time and we were still waiting for the boarding member. Accidentally, I saw a airport employee and ask him that this is the gate assigned to the IAH Houston? And he responded: "Oh no, the gate is changed!" Thus, I ran from the former gate to the new assigned gate. But I saw that the people are still waiting for the boarding member at the front desk. There was a 25min delay and all the people were standing and waiting for that lady to come. At the end, since she was alone and she couldn't handle all the people, she didn't check the boarding zone. It is important to be mentioned that I received the changing of the gate E-mail very late just I was entering the airplane! In the airplane, the flight attendant were not friendly. They didn't help the old people to entering the airplane or putting their luggage at the top cases. During the flight, they were just sitting and playing with their mobiles! Apart from this issues, the worst scenario happened in the baggage claim. When all the people were waiting about 30mins for delivery of the baggage. At the end, it was so disappointing to see one my baggage is broken and its handle bar was detached that I couldn't move it easily to the outside of the airport. I reported the issue to the Spirit baggage claim and that employee was not friendly either and she didn't even apologize! Therefore, I am currently totally disappointed about the Spirit because as I mentioned there are some instances which are not dependent to the price/money. Even cheap airlines should provide highly respected treatment to their customers.
Pros: When a plane arrives late the turn around time is amazing. Doesn't take them much time at all to get going again. Attendants and pilots were professional.
Cons: Boarding is a mess. You may board by zones but it really doesn't seem to workout. About half the people respect the order about half do not. People cut in line when they haven't even been there waiting. Do something like Southwest and have us board by groupings. They are much smaller units and people get in their correct order. You guys can get portable ones. That would move you all up significantly in the boarding process. That is by far the worst of all categories. The ladies at the gate really can't police that, make it easy for those who are boarding by having a clear and organized process.

Cons: This was my first time flying Spirit airlines, despite the many negative reviews I read beforehand..I was skeptical because everyone made it seem bad and I just wanted a cheap flight, so I still went ahead and bought tickets for my whole family. Lawd, bless my soul. They charge you for EVERYTHING! The amount you spend on checked bags, snacks and boarding pass (if you didn't take care of it yourself) adds up to just about the same amount of another (better) airline. So don't let those prices fool you! Moreover, my flight was meant to leave at 2:30. We got on the plane and sat on the plane for 2 hours due to some "weather" delay!! Then after that, they told us they were going to dock us back at the airport while they figured out the situation. Returning to the airport, we were then escorted all the way back to checkin at the Spirit booth, and waited 3 hours in the ridiculously long line of people getting their problems fixed. Called Spirit and went on the website to them saying the system was updating so they couldn't help me..they gave me 2 options, refund or book another flight which wasn't for another 2 days!! I was supposed to go to LA and was expected to land at 4, thus why I prepaid for my hotel and car rental, only end up wasting a whole day of unused rentals! I then came up with the idea to maybe fly into San Diego. They told me the flight would be at 9:30 with a maybe 45 min delay. I took their offer and waited another 2 hours for that flight..once again, DELAY for another 2 hours! I literally spent the whole day at the airport due to Spirit's horrible service and organization. I will never use this airline again! Do yourself a very big favor, save money and TIME by booking with southwest or anything else but this airline! Listen to the past reviews because they are oh so true. Never again!!
Cons: They cancelled my flight due to "weather" while every other airline was flying in and out of IAH. They offered to get me to my destination on the day I was to return or my $200 back. I booked early so I could get a better deal. At the time of my refund tickets were $1000 each. Ruined my bachelor party weekend and the trips of the other 6 people that were traveling for the occasion. Will never fly or recommend Spirit airline again! Worst experience I have ever had and would gladly pay regular fares from a reputable airline in the future. It is just not worth it.
Pros: I like getting out of the airport and vowing to never fly Spirit again.
Cons: Spirit's computer system had an "error" which marked me as a security risk. I had to go through intensive security screening TWICE. I was given a hand written ticket that was not honored at the gate stating their computer error has blocked me from flying. With this status I was unable to take my flight or rebook one. Luckily I got a full refund. Definately not worth the hassle and airport drama I will NEVER fly this airline again. I feel sorry for their employees who have to deal with such a shitty system.
Cons: My flight was delayed due to weather. They didn't notify anyone there was any sort of delay until after the flight was supposed to depart. Then they announced the flight Cancelled shortly after. There was no staff at any of the desks to help people rebook flights so we were all just standing there wondering what to do. Finally one lady came and had to help two flights worth of people rebook. Was in line for almost an hour. When I returned the next day they made me repay for all my overweight checked bags.
Cons: Spirit canceled our IAH to LAS flight last night. We found out just a couple of hours before departure and sprit did nothing to accommodate us with alternatives although there were several flights flying this route. No explanation was given for the cancellation apart from 'weather' which for all practical purposes could have been the weather on the planet Mars. other airlines were flying flights on this route just fine. Feel so cheated that an airline can throw your flight away at the last minute, for no apparent reason beyond their own convenience and greedy network planning, not rebook you into reasonable alternatives, and get away with it. It's not about the flight money. There were 8 of us meeting in LAS from different cities, those friends had to cacel their perfectly good tickets. And then the cost of hotels, show fickets, reservations made, not to mention the effort and anguish to recover from loosing all this at the last minute. Folks, ITS NOT WORTH IT!! It's not even that cheap once you add expensive bag and seat fees. STAY AWAY FROM SPIRIT. I guaruntee you, you will get burned. Remember what they say about when it looks too good to be true, it likely is. Spirit is a lie as a concept. They are only out to get your money and will never have your back. One more anecdote: the customer service rep tried to sell us a credit card after our 1 hour long call to try and process ticket cancelations. A CREDIT CARD WITH SPIRT AFTER THEY RUINED OUR TRIP! That's how insensitive and out for your money they are. Also, we tried to cancel online with the link they provided on their CRAPPY website and they would only allow travel vouchers as refund. Why would I want worthless spirt vouchers after a flight cancellation when I never want to fly you again?
Cons: It's sad you only want my review from my return flight. If I had a choice not to fly back on Spirit I wouldn't have. The first flight seats were horrible. The passenger in front of me reclined and the seats rested on my knees and hurt the entire flight. Paying for carry on was absolutely ridiculous. Having to pay for a glass or cup of water, not bottle, was beyond horrific. Flight attendants were not friendly. This experience is so far the worst flight experience I've ever had. It was my first on Spirit and I pray I don't have to give you my money ever again.
Pros: The initial fare was great and enticing.
Cons: I didn't like the fact that bag fees are twice as much as other airlines, carry ons are $100 per, what is normally free on other airliines (like coffee, soda or water) you charge for, and the weight limit for a checked bag is 40 pounds not 50 and then there is an additional $25 dollar charge. So, I paid $75 dollars total for checking my 1 bag, which was under 50 pounds and I was traveling for two weeks, so I expected to pay a fee of $25 to check the bag. Luckily my 1 carry on was small enough to be considered a personal bag, or that would have been another $100. I chose not to drink anything because asking to pay for water is somewhat ridiculous and I found the flight attendants "humor" to not be funny at all. I guess if as an airline you want to be made a joke of than that is fine, but if you are tying to be a low price contender and offer the same service and amenities than you have missed the mark in my opinion.
