Cons: "I will never understand the way boarding works. Did going from window groups, middle seat groups to aisle seat groups not work? I hate having to squeeze through and hope I don’t knock anyone in the face with my bag. I don’t like I can’t pick my seat and that my seatbelt is a little too tight. If I get a seat in the back I’m waiting for everyone else to get on and then for them to get off the plane. I guess I’ll have to pay the $75 fee for “first class” next time since that’s the only way to update my seat. And if I have a “saver rate” ticket - I should be able to still change my flight within 24 hours. I wanted to come back a day earlier and it was the same price! But I would’ve had to cancel and repurchase for an additional $200!!!"

Pros: "I was happy it was a nonstop flight on a somewhat new and very clean plane. Plenty of leg room, though the seat almost felt narrow and the person next to me was on me the entire trip. Seat comfort was good, I prefer firmer padding on a longer trip. Attendants were attentive and quick about helping passengers but felt like they didn’t want to be there. Boarding was also fast, though slightly confusing."
Cons: "I didn’t like that after I booked my ticket Alaska moved the time to much earlier in the day and I had to take off work. There’s no built in screen; tablets are available to rent, but for the price tickets are I shouldn’t have to rent something or use up my battery. Plus having to either hold my phone/tablet the whole flight or use what little space I have on my tray to prop it up isn’t enjoyable. Also the snacks were lacking, one bag of cheese crackers was my only option for a flight over 5 hours."

Cons: "The flight boarded 30 minutes early; I arrived to my gate at the time of when my ticket said boarding started, but they were already calling final boarding call for my flight. I completely panicked. The plane was clean but the seats are very close together and there were no complimentary snacks- even though it was a 6 hour flight. On my flight back from Seattle on Delta, we got a complimentary meal AND a complimentary snack. I was expecting my Alaskan flight to be better based on everything I'd heard from friends, but my return Delta flight showed Alaska up; it was a spacier plane with way more food offered."
Pros: "I always enjoy flying with Alaska. The crews are generally nice and the leather seats are comfortable, even in cattle class. I like that they often give out the Biscoff biscuits, yum. I had lots of room on several of my flights, on one of them I had an entire row to myself, which was awesome."
Cons: "The fact that even on 5+ hour-long flights they still charge for the food is a little silly to me. But maybe that's how they all do these days. Still, it's unfortunate, or, it might have been nice to have more than one snack served up on such a long flight. The wifi is a little hard to maneuver, even with an instruction card. The Go-go inflight thing is cool, but they don't really advertise that you need to download the app while you're still on the ground...which they should advertise in their concourses or something."

Cons: "I have never been on a flight where I was bumped in the leg or arm repeatedly. Passengers were constantly up and down the aisle along with the carts hawking their wares. I trussed myself up like a turkey with the seatbelt so I wasn't on the armrest so as not to get hit again. My grandson who is a lot smaller than I, tried to put his head down to sleep on the tray table. He looked so uncomfortable. I know the deal is butts in the seats, but even the seat bottom is horribly uncomfortable. These planes have become cattle buses. I put up with it because there is no choice and I can't afford first class."

Cons: "I had booked my flight to take off at 2:30 PM, but when I checked into London Gatwick, my boarding pass given was 7:30 PM. Of course there's no Alaska desk so I couldn't ask anyone there. When I got to Vancouver, they said they weren't sure why I was bumped, but there were seats left on the plane. However, I had to go to the gate to change my flight because I had a checked bag. Got to the gate, and of course, it was sold out. And they told me they weren't sure if the 7:30 PM flight would be taking off. So I grabbed my bags, made my way via train/bus/hitchhiking across the American border where my dad picked me up. Never got a single reason why I was bumped in the first place."

Cons: "The flight was 4 hours late. I wasted an entire day sitting in the airport. You knew that the flight was late hours in advance and should have texted or emailed me to say as much. Instead, i checked in on time, and within 10 minutes we went from 'On Time' to four hours late due to equipment and crew. Very inconsiderate and unappreciated to your customer. The flight should have been free after such an inconsiderate gesture on your part. Instead, you send me a gift certificate that obligates me to spend more money with you in order to redeem it, and then within a certain period of time. If I have choice in the future, I'll lean toward a different airline than yours. You clearly do not value my time nor my business."

Cons: "They weight the value of 1st leg much higher than the return AND they want to charge you $125 change fee. My grandma passed away and I needed to reschedule my itinerary. Alaska stuck to their policies (you know, those pages of microscopic text that is written by lawyers for sole reason of screwing the customer.) I just felt really abused; told them to keep the useless "credit". I booked with Delta. At what point does a company forget who they are supposed to be serving? Perhaps the people that are actually giving you money and keeping you in business?"

Cons: "We purchased 2 one way tickets and were given confirmation of purchase. When we arrived at airport to check in we were told we were on standby only. If we could not get on the flight then the soonest we could fly out was 48+ hrs away, arriving in Seattle at 2 AM on Monday morning. we had no one available to pick us up, we live 1 hr away from airport. After many announcements and many incentives offered 2 young ladies did give up their seats and we could get on. The flight went well but we were extremely upset with the promise of confirmation and the obvious overbooking. It probably is what many airlines do but not good customer service was given to us. We often fly Alaska but this was a bad experience."

Cons: "All legs of my trip from San Jose to Seattle to Philadelphia and back were all delayed; so much so that on the trip to Philadelphia, I had to be rebooked on Delta; and on the trip back to Seattle, I almost missed my flight due to a 50 minute delay on the runway waiting. I found out that "officially", the plane was "on time" because the plane closed the doors on time. Also, same thing from Seattle to San Jose, we were delayed 30 minutes due to a tire that needed replacement. Again, "officially" we were on time, because the doors had closed and we were just sitting inside the plane."
Pros: "I've always liked Alaska, but they really blew this one!"
Cons: "Mechanical delay started as a "few minutes back to the gate", then 1 1/2 hrs sitting on plane at the gate without updates, then "get off the plane while we turn off the air", another 2 hrs without definitive info, then "we're bringing in another plan in a couple of hours", then after 5 hours of waiting, an announcement that flight is cancelled. Finally they announced a replacement flight setup for 8am, but at 4am, Alaska sent texts that the replacement flight was delayed till 1:30 pm. We finally left Palm Springs for Seattle at 2:40, 26 hours late. But the worst part of the experience was the terrible communication. A few e-mails or texts or PA announcements as the time passed would have saved about 90 passengers the frustration of waiting hours at the gate area and ticketing desk for info about options. Alaska should have been more respectful of its customers. Minimal effort was made to answer our questions."
Pros: "First off Bonnie at the boarding gate was phenomenal , She has an amazing disposition ( especially at 5:00 in the morning ) she greeted each and every customer by name and with a smile ! Our flight was delayed for 2 hours as we sat at the gate while problems were fixed . The Captain made sure he kept us informed as each problem occurred and was fixed . The rest of the flight crew remained patient and attentive , which of course kept all the customers onboard calm and patient as well . My daughter just moved to Seattle and if this is the norm for this airline I will continue to use them for my future visits ! Elizabeth"
Cons: "I lost my connection due to migration. An I had to pay for one hotel night and another flight to Seattle"
Cons: "Everything was broken. The scanner was broken and our boarding was delayed. The the ramp to get off the plane was broken so we had to sit for an hour while they tinkered with it. We got off our flight over an hour late because of alaska's malfunctions. Also the lady who checked us in was not very polite."
Cons: "There was a 20 minute flight delay before we boarded. They announced there were mechanical difficulties, which took further time. After we left the gate, we were told that our pilots had timed out and we would need to return to the gate to get a new crew. We taxied for a long time back to the gate, then there were further delays while they added the gas they had used in taxiing. In the end, we arrived more than 2 hours late. It is hard to understand why they didn't anticipate this and replace our pilots before we left the gate. This was the return part of a round trip ticket; there was also a more than 2 hour delay on our earlier flight due to mechanical difficulties."
Cons: "They kept canceling flights even though other flights were going out of Seattle and landing in Bozeman. But the gate agents were promising that the next flight wasn't gong to be cancelled and that I was going to have a seat, so I didn't book another flight from Seattle to Bozeman on a different carrier. So I spend 3 full days waiting at the boarding gate with the gate agent saying boarding would begin in 30 minutes the whole time. Finally they just sent me back home to Oakland. I missed my last chance to see my grandfather alive. He just passed away. To add insult to injury, they they wouldn't refund the ticket because I "used" the ticket for a lovely vacation to the Seattle airport for 3 days."
Cons: "The check in process was cumbersome with being able to partially get checked in at a computer kiosk and then having to wait in line to see an agent while other people are jumping the queue and not having to wait... then having stood in line for 10 minutes an agent tells you that you could have been in the "fast" lane... but there is no or little signage indicating which line you should be in.... that's frustrating. Don't expect your customers to be unconsciously aware of all of your convoluted business practices... put some signs out... we at least like a hint. Other than that, for air travel it was a very good experience."
Cons: "My initial flight was at 0800; I got to the gate before 0800 and was told I couldn't board the flight even though it was still at the gate and was still before the flight time. I had to pay to rebook my flight, spent over $200 in rides to and from airport, had additional parking fees and was several hours late to work. I have many family members who work in flight service so I understand that employees don't like to re-do paperwork; however, being there before the flight time and being denied cost a lot of work time and money. I have always had great experiences with Alaska so this one was quite a disappointment compared to their usual great service. :("
Cons: "Something unexpected came up and I was unable to fly out on the date the ticket was purchased for. I contacted the airline several weeks to see what options I had to switch flights, or get a voucher for a later date. No flexibility. I purchased a one way ticket for $125.60 and they have a cancel/transfer fee of $125. So I had a wasted ticket that just flew empty. I asked if I could transfer the ticket to someone else... They said $125. They told me if I had purchased the travelers insurance it still would be the same fees as well. Not earning my business."

Cons: "Entertainment options existed, for more money. Everyone is charging for baggage now days as if all their customers are just taking an overnight trip to Vegas! It's terribly difficult to pack your family for a 7 day cruise and not get charged for "extra" baggage or overweight baggage. We used to be able to fly regularly with no additional costs, with 1 checked and 1 carry on bag per person! Maybe offering some slightly different pricing options when a trip is more than 4 days long would be of benefit to folks."
Pros: "I'm not normally an avid traveller, but in this last week, I've had the opportunity to fly on four different airlines. By far, the best airline ive flown upon was alaska. customer service was so friendly from start to finish, the employee who checked in our luggage (who was incredibly professional with an very frustrated guest behind me in line, while managing to not alienate my wife and i), ro the flight attendants who were prompt, responsive, and efficient in hydrating the passengers. My wife is uncomfortable with flying, and their demeanor with every aspect of their work made her feel safer and, at least, a little bit more relaxed. Thank you."

Too much waiting after a long flight. I fly to NYC all the time and I’m usually in the city one hour after I land and it took 2 hours 15 min to get to Queens. Usually I have great flights with JetBlue. Last night was not the case. You get a C."

We got to airport at 3:45 am- no one at the check in counter, employees finally arrived at 4 am, checked in, but then we don’t have seats asssigned! We get to the gate and wait-wait-wait until almost 5am and finally the employees were able to find someone willing to move so that myself and kids don’t get seats in emergency exit row. Nuts. Very unpleasant(not the employees, those were nice-it’s the check in and seat assignment policies)."

Pros: "Jet Blue was GREAT- as usual. I want you to know that getting through security in ATL airport was an ordeal. Incredibly long lines, disorganized (a sign clearly said, TSA Pre-check- line up here) and then the people managing the lines yelling at us (and this is an observation) because they wanted us lined up further back. This was baffling because the actual line into the TSA space was empty at that point. I think the ATL security staff could all benefit from some further training about to work with people effectively AND ATL airport needs to look at their systems. I know it's a busy airport, but there has to be something better than what they are doing now!"

Use our really uncomfortable eye masks that don’t really work.“"

Pros: "Half the passengers were sleeping in rows to themselves. I’m 6’5” with a bad back and was stuck in an aisle seat, unable to even rest much less sleep. I get that those seats were available for purchase, but after the doors close it seems ridiculous to not let a customer sit there, ESPECIALLY is taller folks!!!! One could make the argument that it’s less safe as well, seeing how there’s no one IN the exit row to help open the window in the event of an emergency. I like Jetblue but this policy is likely to keep me from flying them if I can fly for just a bit more $ and have comfort."

Cons: "When I scanned my boarding pass the Jetblue staff member told me my carry on was too big and had to be checked. This was puzzling to me because I travel often and do not have a problem with that bag. As I was sitting on the plane I saw everyone's bag's were bigger especially the man next to me. His was significantly larger and he had a large duffle bag between his legs causing him to manspread into my area. and yet i was told "make sure your purse is under the seat" seriously?! What about his giant duffle bag and huge carry on roller?!"

Cons: "Upon boarding an odor of vomit was obvious. An attendant announced that a previous passenger had been sick in the row and there was no time to adequately clean it. There was only one food option available for purchase. Neither the overhead reading light or entertainment system at my seat worked. The first attendant I approached told me she could find me a seat in the back of the plane. I declined as I reserved a seat in the front of the plane in order to deplane and go through customs swiftly. I was then offered a seat directly behind the row where the passenger had vomited. Eventually, a different attendant placed me in a seat nearer the front of the place where both the light and entertainment system worked."
Cons: "Our flight was delayed making it so I and several others had less than 4 minutes to catch our next flight. The flight attendants wouldn’t help us at all. Instead of having us come to the front of the plane to exit first we had to ask the rest of the passengers if they didn’t mind letting us through to catch our flight. I have severe psoriatic arthritis and I had to sprint to my next gate that had been changed making it much farther away from our arrival gate. Now I get to spend my vacation in pain trying to recover."

Pros: "The one thing I liked was the expedited service I got because my brother needed a wheelchair. The comfort of the plane was really nice as well, one of the best flights I had in a while."
Cons: "What I didn’t like was how my flight got cancelled and the only flight I was able to get was 4 days later. So I was stuck in the Dominican Republic for a total of two weeks!! I had to miss another weekend at work which made me lose a lot of money since I’m a barber and lost some one my clientele. On top of my flight being cancelled it also got delayed again but only by 30 minutes so I wasn’t so upset. When it came to the boarding, that had to be the slowest boarding I’ve went through. The gate seemed very behind on the technology and that caused the workers to work even slower. At times they had to step away and go on their monitor to fix something out so it took an extra 30 minutes before I even got into my seat, and I was sitting in row 6 of the plane. Then after everyone was seated the flight got held back an extra half hour because a lady wanted to file a complaint saying that she got pushed and ended up being the only person that got kicked off the flight so she did it all for nothing. So with everything happening, our flight got delayed an hour and a half. Very disappointed.."

Cons: "There were only two flights, one to my and one to Boston. My bag went to the wrong place and the way they handled it was disgusting. Making us run around the airport with no answers and nobody wanting to check the conveyer belt. Then they said if they found it they would let me know. They found the bag and they said by 6:30. Well, 6:30 passed and they had my bag but they couldn't tell me when it would be delivered and they use a third party company who they didn't have a contact number for or any answer as to when it would be delivered (I needed several things for work so it was a rush). Lastly, the lady I spoke to on the phone said it was my fault that I would not be there to receive the bag the following day as they did what they are supposed to. I was really surprised with how bad this customer service was as a whole. No communication and just nasty."

Cons: "The airplane cabin had a strong urine odor that endured throughout the red-eye flight, the air temperature had to have been at least 75 degrees, probably 80 which was a bit stifling. No usb/power at the seat which would be preferable/should be standard by now for a coast-to-coast flight. Seat didn’t recline which isn’t the end of the world but a bit of a bummer. My headphones didn’t work with the little screen at my seat but it’s ok because based on my neighbor’s screen it was just a rotating lineup of Jet Blue commercials/fake tv shows that I can easily pass on."

The flight attendee making the announcements might have been new because she kept messing up what she was saying and shouting and mumbling through the speaker. I usually have amazing flights with jetblue but I'm highly disappointed with this flight."

There was no note inside the luggage to state if it was tsa who went through the bag so I went to customer service to inquire about it. The representative from New York airport stated that I over packed my bag that's why it was damaged. I can assure you that my bag was under weight and there was no problem when i last closed it. So to be clear both zippers on my luggage was completely destroyed and taped up like a ragged cloth. I was embarrassed to walk around with my bag and the only recompensation I received was a $40 credit to my next flight."

It is frustrating to the people that abide by the rules to see them so flagrantly ignored."

Cons: "There were many empty seats, and when I moved from a cramped seat to a fully open row, the attendant rudely and humiliatingly admonished me for moving to a comfort+ from my "preferred" seat. It was unprofessional and extremely uncalled for. The seats were completely empty and there was no reason for him to admonish me loudly and rudely. I suffer from severe general anxiety disorder, fur which I take appropriate medications, but this incident caused an anxiety attack that lasted through the rest of the flight. Extremely disturbing that crew would behave so rudely and insensitively to anyone."

When speaking on phone with agent, I was told it wasn't due to weather but incident at LaGuardia where plane went off runway. I paid $130.00 for 5 hours in a hotel, due to pilot error, not weather. La Guardia opened it's other runway immediately after and other airports in NewYork were running fine. Completely unacceptable and extremely bad customer service as CSR simply told us "sorry we can't help". Will never book with West Jet again."

The whole thing essentially took one full night of paid hotel and fun in Vegas away costing us over $200 just in hotel plus we spent an extra 5 hours in an airport that didn't have a bar open past 9pm."

Cons: "Flight 103 was supposed to be at 1:30. Delayed at 10 or 11 am to 3:08. A little in the day to have a major delay putting us into Vegas right at rush hour with higher taxi pricing and headache. Once we were at the airport the delays continued. We didn't finish boarding the plane until after 330. And then had to sit on the tarmac while they tried to squeeze us in. Then landing you could tell we were circling airport while they tried to find a spot for us to land, either that or it was a bad route because it involved a lot of sharp turns. We landed almost two hours late, which for a 48 hour Vegas trip is harsh. All we got in return was an apology. Usually other airlines will at least give you the full can of pop or something minor to off set the bigger inconvience."

Kayak should never have allowed me to book a ticket where I had to re-check my bag and go through security again without a big warning, so I'm unhappy about that. Additionally, it seems like Sun Country needs to get his ducks in order regarding baggage agreements. The change in Las Vegas was stressful and involved switching terminals as well – not ideal."

The head of the guy sitting in front of me was almost in my lap. I couldn't even lower my tray table all the way down to a flat position to set my beverage upon because his seat was so close to mine. When the flight was almost to its destination, we had to circle the airport for awhile because Obama was landing at this time too. We were never told of this possibility until it actually happened. Why not ? We arrived about an hour and a half later than our scheduled time. With all these inconveniences to us, absolutely nothing complimentary was given to us passengers to make up for their incompetence and how our travel plans may have been disrupted. This was a bad experience and my last with Sun Country."

Its nice to allow passengers to connect and watch movies or shows, however, when trying to watch a movie it constantly buffers. More buffering then watching, to the point of just stopping and skipping it all together."

Cons: "Multiple delayed flights leading to short connection time. Despite meeting stated time, denied entry and surprises that my ticket was changed with no effort to correct said error at the gate despite adequate time prior to take off."

Cons: "Extended wait times in taxi departing and landing - took over an hour longer than expected. LaGuardia airport forced passengers to take their car services by walking outside and waiting in a parking garage with (12 degree Fahrenheit feels like -4 and 20 mph winds). Felt frostbite, couldn’t move fingers, and have a sinus headache. absolutely appalling this is NY and USA - yet we can’t have car services pick up pasengers outside the door of the airport, instead require to walk 7 minutes and stand in a freezing air tunnel airport garage. Changes my mind on flying to LAGUARDIA in the future"

After that, had to wait around 45 minutes to drop my suitcase. After that, process was good and efficient. Plane left on time LIMA to Miami, and then Miami to NYC."
Cons: "The A319 outfitted in this way is to freaking tight!!! There is not even close to enough leg room for an average sized American male. I'm no taller than six foot and not overweight. You must fix this issue. I will look for other carriers whenever possible."
Pros: "We had to wait in the airplane upon arrival in La Guardia NY because wheelchair was not ready."

Cons: "The flight attendants were highly rude and i felt as if i was discriminated on. I was sitting in the back and the flight attendant who was suppose to assist us made us feel like i was a bother to her. First of all she just rudly dropped biscuits on my table didnt ask if i wanted and then I had to ask her for coffee, she didnt ask me if i wanted something to drink. Finally she brought my daughter and I some coffee. i ask for sugar and she said im very busy you have to wait....eventually she gave me one packet of sugar. I had to ask for another sugar for my daughter , so when i ask she gets upset and tells me i have to wait but there as a white who ask for assistance and she was very polite to her."

Cons: "I am missing two items that I had in my checked bag and my clothes and belongings were all messy as if it had been gone through. I am very upset that these items were likely taken by whoever went through my bag."
Cons: "Boarded the plane and had to wait on the runway for almost 3 hours after being delayed at the gate. Absolutely horrible with no compensation for our time whatsoever."
Cons: "Late late cancelled chaos in reassignment late late One agent threw up hands said I'm done and left with long line of passengers not yet reassigned Person behind me asked why didn't we take Delta?"
Pros: "Arrived to the airport well ahead of time and encountered lines so long that we were not able to make our flight. Only 2 attendants working and so many people had to be rebooked we didn't get another flight for 3 days. Did I mention I was traveling with a baby?"
Pros: "Full meal service, friendly and helpful crew, checkin agent went above and beyond to get us checked in even though we were late in getting to the airport."
Cons: "Ancient plane with old, uncomfortable seats and no in-seat entertainment. AA should warn customers when booking these old planes."

Cons: "Both flights, to and from around had to go search for my baggage and on the return flight I even had to go to a different terminal. The service is unacceptable. I will never fly with AA again."

Cons: "The crew was late arriving to the gate which delayed boarding and then the plane had an electrical problem that could not be quickly fixed so had to deplane, go to another gate and board another plane. We were an hour and a half late leaving."
Cons: "Once again the boarding process was a mess. No clear directions given on when groups should board so everyone from every group bombarded the gate. This slowed down finding overhead bin space and getting seated for everybody. Delayed everything when there was such an easy solution."
Pros: "The gate crew in Roanoke were professional and helpful. The next day's flight was on time and uneventful."
Cons: "The flight attendant was unfriendly at boarding. He did not say or play any pre-flight safety announcements. We were told the flight might have to refuel in Richmond due to major weather delays in LGA. When we were landing they said they expected a refuel and a quick turnaround in Richmond. On the plane after landing, I learned via my phone's internet the flight was cancelled. They never announced it on the plane. At the final moment before we disembarked, the crew told us to be sure to take our belongings. When we landed, Flightaware showed delays of 45 minutes at LGA. AA never took responsibility for the problem though the gate crew mentioned they canceled the flight because the crew was going to be over their maximum hours. AA really couldn't plan to allow for up to an hour delay? I feel disrespected and even deceived. Although it was clear that flight attendant really needed to get off that plane. At the gate, we were told there were no available flights to NYC and were stranded overnight in Richmond. AA did offer a hotel pretending it was a courtesy since they claimed the problem was weather related and not theirs. We chose to stay with relatives and were told AA could only provide transportation from the airport which we did not need. We often have problems and cancellations on this route from when it was branded a US Air route to the present, but this was egregious."
