Flight was delayed about 40 minutes by a mechanical problem. This made a long day even longer. Otherwise good.

No issues at all other than the seats. Of all the airlines I've flown on in my life (this was my first with Alaska Airlines), these were significantly the most uncomfortable seats I've had - more so than Spirit Airlines. I'm a relatively young guy and mostly fit but oof, i was aching in muscles I didn't even know I had. Not sure if the seats are standard for the plane (if it even works like that) or if the choice to use cardboard as cushion and 90 degree angle back rests was a decision, but it wouldn't honestly make me think twice about flying with them again. Other than that - perfect flight. It was quick, crew was nice, ride was smooth so all things considered I appreciate the last minute availability offered after a sudden relocation on my part.

We did have to wait an hour for the runway to be cleared but other than that it was fine.

There was no sense of urgency to get us to our destination on time. There’s just no such thing with this airline. It’s not my fault, they don’t have enough help. They sure as hell charge you enough for everything Nothing like being nickel and dimed to death. Money for bags money to choose a seat. You gotta be made for money to fly this airline.

The flight itself was okay, but there were 2 screaming kids in front of me my entire flight which made it just awful. The parent did zero to try and make the children settle down and flight attendants did nothing either. I understand it's hard to travel with children, but constantly yelling, screaming, or loud talking for 4 hours straight is just ridiculous.

I hate turbulence and we had quite a lot. I really appreciated kept us calm informed. When it would likely start, when it would likely end. And the cause. Very good!

The crew on my return flight was empathetic to the fact I had probably the worst seat in the plane. Middle seat, last row next to the restrooms. They were sweet and helpful.

Alexa provided her hand to help from the plane door until I could grab part of the interior to get to my seat

I was beat it was a late flight don't remember taking off or landing was a good nap.
