Daily cleaning, installation of cabin HEPA filters on flights from Huntsville to Iceland
Iceland has restricted the entry of all travelers who are not nationals of EEA/EFTA Member States, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Switzerland or Vatican City or their families.
Travelers with residence permits issued by Schengen Member States may still enter the country.
Travelers that residents and traveling from Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Rwanda, Singapore, South Korea or Thailand may also enter the country.
Diplomats, healthcare professionals, humanitarian aid workers, military personnel, travelers who require international protection, and travelers on family emergencies may also enter the country.
Travelers will be required to fill out a pre-registration form before departure.
Travelers must have a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued within 72 hours prior to departure. The certificate must be in Danish, English, Icelandic, Norwegian or Swedish.
Travelers must download the Rakning C-19 app.
All arriving travelers will undergo 2 tests to screen for SARS-CoV-2 and diagnosis of COVID-19, with quarantine in between. The first test is performed upon arrival and the second one 5 days later. Travelers quarantine period will end as soon as they receive a negative result from the second test.

Travelers who have confirmed with PCR-testing or antibody testing from an EU/EFTA state that they have previously had a COVID-19 infection are exempt from quarantine.
Traveler who present a valid international vaccination certificate for full vaccination with an approved vaccine against COVID-19 are exempt from quarantine.
All travelers entering Iceland on their way to another Schengen Member State must have written confirmation of their permission to enter the other Schengen Member State.

Pros: "Flight was late leaving JFK. I paid extra for Comfort Plus and had the most uncomfortable seat ever. My back ached during and after the flight. Absolutely the worst seat ever that I have had flying. While it was a short flight we were supposed to get serviced during the flight, but there was no cabin service unless you were in 1st class. So much for the perks of Comfort Plus as there were none. Not even a glass of water. Wow! When we landed late obviously because we left late we were late and there was no ground crew to get our plane to the gate so we sat for over 1/2 hour on the taxi way waiting for ground crew to be available for us to get to the gate. To add insult of injury when we did get to go to the gate there was no gate available for use so we had to deplane in the rain down the emergency stairs. They said that if you had a problem with the steep stairs that they would make other accommodations. Probably would have been another delay so we all carefully went down the steep slippery stairs. I doubt that the stairs met any OHSA or safety requirements except for emergency issues. They were wet and slippery. This was the absolute worst trip that I have taken with Delta. It will seriously influence my future trip decisions."

I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father."

Apparently, the NY to LAX flight that KLM booked us on, was only one leg of the flight to Sydney Australia; and according to some airline agreement, only Australian nationals are permitted to take that flight! Running around at JFK from terminal four, to terminal seven, to terminal eight, back to terminal four, to get a flight out, was a bit much considering how tired we were – not to mention hungry, since KLM neglected to provide the kosher meals we had requested with plenty of time – BOTH going to and returning from Europe."

The attendants showed up to the desk at 8, with no sign as to when they would show up even though the desk was getting called constantly starting at 7am. was told that in dublin we would have to check in to flight and we would be assigned seats then. even thought the attendant printed our boarding passes for the connecting flight but did not give them to us. When in dublin was told that we had already been checked in and we could have been assigned our seats in madrid by the connections desk. When talking to others on same flight they told us they were allowed to checkin into all flights and had no issues at the airport"

The flight was full, so it's 10 hours in a sardine can--and they wonder why people hate flying now. Somehow European airlines manage not to freeze out all their passengers. It was less than a two hour flight but felt like an eternity because it was so uncomfortable. Seat size - this is absolutely the smallest it can/should go. I am pretty skinny, but even I'm running out of room and the seat backs could be made a bit more comfortable. Not only is there almost no recline, but the way they are constructed - they actually push my head forward - not made for short people."

When I didn't hear the attendant's question, in spite of telling her I was hearing impaired, she threw her hand up rudely and just continued on to other customers. When boarding I watched orhers board with the same size bag as mine, and wondered if telling someone you can't hear gives them the right to inform you at the gate that your bag needs to be checked?"

She either didn't know how to or was unwilling to verify our infant in arms' ticket, check our baggage, or receive a cash payment for our checked bags after she sent us to the kiosk for a third time. She never greeted us and only addressed us when absolutely necessary but had plenty of time to talk with her coworkers. It took nearly an hour for her to process our check in. She actually made another customer cry."

It was not a service dog in the sense that it was all over the place--on my feet and in the aisle where it tripped a stewardess more than once and she told him it couldn't be in the aisle. So it pushed over to my seat because the guy was just to big to share his legroom. It shredded napkins the man dropped which a trained dog would not do. it bounced his tray table up causing him to drop his two vodkas. I had to have the stewardess tell him to move his arm and body out of my seat so I could stow my tray for landing. When waiting for my ride outside the dog was off lease and ran into the pickup lanes where the man had to chase him down. A true service dog would never behave like that."
