Cons: "Flight was delayed out of St. Louis causing several of us to miss our connecting flight from Salt Lake City to Portland. Delta was of very little help in assisting us in making a connecting flight. They could have at least helped with travel arrangements and provided us with a little food, a pillow and a blanket as we waited in their terminal for the next flight on their airline which was a several hour wait. I understand these things happen but the passengers didn't cause the problem and Delta needs to take care of people better if they expect to earn repeat business."

The original flight was still available & they would not let me take it despite my reservation paper work. CRAZY! I have a two hour drive to the airport this gave me the option to leave home at 2:30am or go the night before and pay for a hotel. Flight was managed by DELTA who also did not care! All involved blamed each other. Beware"

Cons: "The FLIGHT!!!!! There were delays. Scheduled take of time was 6:59 PM. We took off at 735 PM. Once I was on the plane, I started kicking myself in the you know what because I knew immediately I was scammed. I had purchased a 1st Class ticket for $400+, only to find that my comfort would be the equivalent of that if I purchased a ticket in economy. My long legs would still be cramped. For the past few years, I have been purchasing 1st class for it's spaciousness. On this flight, on the RCJ700, I did not fly comfortably. The space was very tight, and I was able to stretch my legs as if I sat in economy. This was by far, my most uncomfortable flight ever. SMH; A WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!!"

Cons: "I purchased a first class ticket in hopes that I would have a lot more comfort during the flight. It took me quite some time to get comfortable. The seat was ok, but I found the pillows to be very small and flat. I needed multiple pillows. The head rest was not adjustable, so I also found this to be uncomfortable. Usually when I fly AA, the headrest is adjustable. My final dislike was that the beverage selection was limited. I'm quite sure there was plenty of alcohol, but what about those customers who do not drink alcoholic beverages? I asked for hot chocolate, there was none. I asked for hot tea with honey, there wasn't any. So all in all my flight was okay, but that is solely because of the flight attendant and pilot. They did their jobs and they did an excellent job."

Cons: "I was apparently "flagged" by British Airways for extra security checks. As I understood it in London, I was randomly selected for this security check. This then apparently meant that I was to be flagged for all subsequent flights. This meant that in Chicago, after going through two other security checks that day (Zurich and London) and completing customs, I had to engage in a full Homeland security check. This involved removing protective covers from my laptop and phone that were hard to get off (not meant to be taken off regularly) and a full body search that I did not have to do in London. After many hours of traveling, this was very a frustrating experience."

Cons: "Terrible landing in Charlotte. The plane was rattling and had an annoying whistle."
Pros: "The flight itself was about as average as any other flight. At least all our luggage made it from the incoming flight from Key West to join us in Charlotte. That was our final destination but most of the passengers were making additional connections."
Cons: "The boarding went like the plane was ready to leave on time, except it didn't. There was a delay because the flight crew came from another arriving flight, so they had to go through the full pre-flight checklist. Then there was a "minor maintenance issue" that couldn't be fixed right away because it was "shift change" for the maintenance crews. Eventually they arrived and fixed whatever, while everyone was getting texts and alerts that kept delaying the departure by 15-minute intervals. Over an hour (while sitting in a warm plane) after the original scheduled departure, we left the gate, sat on the taxiway a while, then took off. Cabin crew only had cookies and drinks, no other snacks or food. All anyone got was an apology for the extended delay."
Pros: "Attentive and friendly crew onboard. Flight capt. kept us abreast of where we stand in the take-off queue. Upon landing, flight crew asked passengers who didn't have connecting flights to remain seated so that others could disembark first."
Cons: "Horrible boarding crew. Two ladies that acted like they just started doing this job yesterday. At one point, they actually yelled at a passenger who was about to board. Even their supervisor admonished them but seemed to be too weak to tell them what to do."

Cons: "On my first flight from SLC to ORD I asked 3 different American Airlines employees if I needed to pay for my carryon before I got on the plane. They all said no. I got on the plane, put my carryon under the seat in front of me and everything was great. I landed in Chicago, got to my gate, went to board and this very rude employee stopped me after I scanned my ticket and told me I couldn’t board with my bag. The EXACT bag I had boarded with in SLC. After harshly grabbing my bag and putting it in the carryon basket to check for size, she wouldn’t let me pass by her into the boarding bridge and told me I was going to have to pay. I tried explaining that I had asked I’m SLC if I needed to check it and they had all said no and that it fit under my seat. She said, “I don’t care what they said in SL, this is what I’m saying here.” And directed me to the front desk where I had to pay $50!! $50 for a carryon backpack that fit under my seat comfortably 20 minutes before!! Without saying a word (cause I didn’t want to yell at the poor girl behind the desk) I paid the $50 and proceeded to enter the bridge but before I passed through, the rude woman said, “have a nice flight ma’am” and scoffed!! An audible scoff. So I’m short, I hate American Airlines and I will do my BEST to not have to fly with them in the future."

Cons: "AA is now trying to save money (presumably) by doing like Delta: forcing half of us to connect in Charlotte. Unfortunately, the Charlotte airport is not ready to accommodate so many people. The airport looks like it is being renovated, which is fine, but there is no tape/cones to mark off the renovated areas from the walkways. You literally walk through dirt and construction sites. I didn't even think that was legal in the US?! Anyway, maybe it will be worth it once the renovations are complete, especially if AA is going to use it as a hub."

I have had two trips in the past 5 days and all flights have been anywhere from 1 to 3 hours late. Worst experience with AA I have had in a long time."
Cons: "We sat in Charlotte on the runway and had to run to our connection. The airport seems too small for the amount of traffic. We usually try to avoid Charlotte, but it was the only way to use frequent flyer miles"

They managed to get the others moved stright away but they kept telling me they would reboot it and sometimes it was slow starting up. They rebooted twice and after 2hours 30mins into the 8 hour flight they accepted that it wasn't going to work and they finally asked another passenger would they swap with us. They said that all TV were checked on the ground between flights but this was obviously not the case."

Cons: "Where to begin? The pilot suggested we would "probably miss our connecting flight" but not to worry because he would be "moving quickly" through the air. Missed my connecting flight. Ended up stuck in Charlotte with no more flights to Florida. And the airline left my bag in Charlotte. Disaster."
Pros: "Americans new 737s are pretty cool. The interior design is modern almost spacious. Seat back entertainment centers are like something you would find on international flights. There is even an A/C plug to charge your electronics. The seats don't just recline, they tilt the seat as well as the back. That said, the seat depth is akin to sitting on a picnik bench."
Cons: "I did not like the fact that while I selected seats when I made my reservations they were not held when I confirmed my return flight on line. The gate attendant informed me that since I did not book thru AA my selections were " requests" with no obligation to reserve the seats."

Cons: "I went on this trip as an veterinary humanitarian out reach. I was also guardian to one high school student so that she might have an experience of such to guild her future. Her flight was missed booked to leave after mine, I attempted to rebook my flight with Luthansia but they would not let me me even partial rebook. I attempted a number of times to rebook the flight but their solution was extreme financial gain for them when more reasonable alternative could have been arranged. They canceled my entire return flight and left me stranded. I had to piece together a return flight on a shoe string budget. Thankfully American Airlines was understanding for it appears Luthansia and United are not."

Finally had to switch to Delta and got to Chicago at 1AM EST, missed the wedding."

Well, I got unnecessary attitude from the person (Arya) with whom I spoke with when I was being calm and collected. That's what pushed me over. I can handle bumps in the road calmly until I'm getting attitude from the customer service."

Then, after we finally got to our gate, we saw that all the other flights for Frontier were starting to get delayed or canceled, so of course we got worried about ours, but despite frequent checks with the gate agent, we were told no no no, don't worry, our flight was still going forward. It got delayed, then delayed again. Finally, it got delayed to 6:18pm, but we were told a crew was flying in from Chicago, so not to worry, we would DEFINITELY be on the plane and out of there by 6:45 at the LATEST. 6:45 comes, 6:45 goes, and no crew. The pilot has been sitting outside the gate this whole time, and we see him go up and shake his head at the gate agent. They announce: the pilot has timed out, he can't fly us anymore, even if we DO get a flight crew. But they don't cancel it! Oh no, not yet. They still have two more hours to make us miserable, why would they cancel the flight? So we sit there as they tell us they might be able to get another pilot from another flight don't worry they're going to try. Meanwhile, we can't self-cancel our flight and get a refund because they've already loaded our bags onto the empty plane without a crew, and they won't get individual bags back, so those of us with a checked bag are trapped at the airport until this awful airline finally decides to let us go. Finally, at EIGHT PM, they do announce that our flight has been officially canceled, and what are we offered in compensation? A refund, or a ticket on a (fully booked!) flight on their airline two days later. No hotel vouchers, no tickets on any other airlines. Just a refund of a ticket you bought months ago so that you can buy an astronomically expensive ticket at the last minute on another airline, or a rebooked ticket on an overbooked plane in two days that will probably be canceled, too. We took the refund, rented a car with the money, and drove overnight to get home instead. Anything was better than being anywhere near Frontier Airlines for another minute. Avoid this toxic waste dump of an airline."

When I asked to speak to a manager she gave me a number that didn't connect to me anybody. When I asked for a number that would connect me to a person, she told me to "figure it out" Then they tried to tell me that the flight was full and I'd have to buy a seat. I ended up getting on the plane without paying for my bag or extra seat so basically they were just trying to get me to pain for unnecessary things"

Terrible experience and terrible company ideas. I will not ride when them again because I don't want them to think this is acceptable service from the airline business. Did I mention that it was 5 am?! Unacceptable. Luckily the other woman working the counter offered to locate my bag and file the claim. (THANK YOU) Then I found out that was the only flight from Denver to Charlotte and I'd have to wait at least 24 hours before I got my bag back....Not a great experience with frontier. Customer service line---- TERRIBLE. I really would have loved to speak with a HUMAN BEING. Also the food selection on the flight was not good, would have been great to have an actual meal to buy with a flight that was over 3 hours."

It appears to be overly enrichment and a rip-off. I know that you're in business to make a profit. But dayumm!! REALLY??! You all are certainly taking advantage of your customers. There may be either a continued decrease of purchases or none at all. I noticed that there weren't many purchases in relation to the number of passengers on board at the time. BTW, the price paid for the single bottle of wine ($7 USD) is what it costs for the 4-pack, if not less. A person can purchase 750 ml or 1/5 gallon for the same amount or less (i.e., $5 USD + tax). This is wrong and obliges passenger to make a grudging purchase out of necessity. Have you ever been thirsty before? Can't have water to take medications without spending large amount of money. You can't even get tap water or courtesy cup of water / ice. What type of mess is this? $50+ bag check fee is horrendous!! Your competitors are much cheaper. Please add more cushion and room to your seats. Had this flight been more than 90 mins., I'd be making a trip to the hospital instead of home."

He ended buying another ticket....Spirit took $200 in fees extra from us."

Cons: "If I had known the philosophy of this airline ("bare fare" plus pay more than average prices for all other upgrades, including water on the flight), I never would have booked with this airline. Checked luggage is more expensive with Spirit than with other airlines, and fees are almost double at the airport if you don't pay ahead of time. Carry on bags are also an extra fee; only your personal item is free. If you have orthopedic challenges and a long flight, pick a different airline - only the extra cost seats ($35 each way) recline at all. This airline was more expensive to fly than the airlines I normally fly, once I added what I consider to be basic needs. It would have been nice to have this information (especially about the seats) available when I booked on Kayak."

Cons: "I paid the same amount for a one way Southwest flight as I did for a Spirit flight going the opposite direction - however, when you add all the extra costs Spirit piles on, it's stupid. They even charged for WATER. We only were able to get a free glass of ICE. Don't use "Only pay for what you use" as a positive advertisement. That's cheap & petty, and I'm never flying with Spirit again. Southwest all the way! The website was really hard to navigate, and when I tried to process a payment to have my bag paid for early, it didn't go through. They want you to pay the higher price at the airport."
