Despite the terrible weather situation, the crew made sure that all passengers were safe before taking off. We were all thankful that Delta made sure to take all precautions to insure a safe flight. Even though the flight was delayed, we were able to still make our connection in Atlanta We're thankful for the effort that Delta and the crew made to get us in the air, but making sure that everything was safe. Being a GA private pilot myself, I know all of the procedures that must be followed in order to get that flight safely off the ground.
Boarding took a long time. Taking off took a long time. I spent over an hour connecting, disconnecting repeatedly from the Wifi just to watch the last 15 mins of the movie I watched on my first flight. Wasn’t offered ice with my drink. They passed me twice to throw out my garbage. And the guy next to me had his arm in my ribs the whole time.

I always appreciate it when my initial flight books my check-in to my final stop and gives me all my boarding passes at once and Delta did just that. They were also really good at communicating updates like changes to the gate."
Cons: "People should just be prepared to be asked more questions than usual. It can definitely make you feel nervous but just remember that the new covid restrictions are stressful for flight staff just as much as they are stressful for you. Be cooperative and honest and you shouldn't have any problems."

American did a great job of getting another pilot in when ours was delayed with his flight into Chicago. We were just a few minutes late departing.

This then apparently meant that I was to be flagged for all subsequent flights. This meant that in Chicago, after going through two other security checks that day (Zurich and London) and completing customs, I had to engage in a full Homeland security check. This involved removing protective covers from my laptop and phone that were hard to get off (not meant to be taken off regularly) and a full body search that I did not have to do in London. After many hours of traveling, this was very a frustrating experience."

Pros: "Our plane was late getting to the gate. They kept us informed and turned it around pretty quickly. There were storms between Chicago and Rochester so we were rerouted. As a result the hour flight was an hour and a half. The pilot kept us informed and it was a very smooth flight. So even though I was over an hour late arriving I so appreciated the communications and the safer route. AA seems to be communicating more than other airlines and I appreciate that. Flying is absolutely no fun anymore so you take what you can get for the positives."

Cons: "On my first flight from SLC to ORD I asked 3 different American Airlines employees if I needed to pay for my carryon before I got on the plane. They all said no. I got on the plane, put my carryon under the seat in front of me and everything was great. I landed in Chicago, got to my gate, went to board and this very rude employee stopped me after I scanned my ticket and told me I couldn’t board with my bag. The EXACT bag I had boarded with in SLC. After harshly grabbing my bag and putting it in the carryon basket to check for size, she wouldn’t let me pass by her into the boarding bridge and told me I was going to have to pay. I tried explaining that I had asked I’m SLC if I needed to check it and they had all said no and that it fit under my seat. She said, “I don’t care what they said in SL, this is what I’m saying here.” And directed me to the front desk where I had to pay $50!! $50 for a carryon backpack that fit under my seat comfortably 20 minutes before!! Without saying a word (cause I didn’t want to yell at the poor girl behind the desk) I paid the $50 and proceeded to enter the bridge but before I passed through, the rude woman said, “have a nice flight ma’am” and scoffed!! An audible scoff. So I’m short, I hate American Airlines and I will do my BEST to not have to fly with them in the future."

It was the worst flight ever. I don't even know where to begin. My mom was supposed to fly around 6:30pm and a bird happened to get inside the engine. They kept rescheduling the flight all the way until 12am and no one knew what was happening. My mom had to get a hotel to stay tge night. The next day they rescheduled her flight for 11am and the same thing happened. They had no food until 1:30pm and finally left around 2:45pm. This was insane.
Lost my luggage. Still haven’t been able to speak with anyone from Allegiant yet. Have flown Allegiant many times before and still have a Vegas vacation coming up. Considering canceling my trip and flight because of the poor customer service.
Worst airline experience of my life. Do not recommend. News flash: allegiant has never heard of connecting flights. You’re dumb enough to take two allegiant flights on the same day? Well, buddy, get off the plane, race to baggage claim, wait forever, haul your bags to the ticket counter, pay another baggage fee, then get your sweaty butt back in that security line and figure out what to do about the flight you missed. Because allegiant does not check your bags to your destination. It’s their policy. No joke. If you catch a connecting flight, your bags will not. That’s just the allegiant way!

There's a fee for carry on's as well as regular size luggage. If you don't prepay for your luggage or if your luggage weighs more than 40 lbs, they charge $50, instead of $25. They not only charge for food, but also for water or any beverage. If you are prepared for a no frills flight & are willing to sit separately from your travel companions, etc. then this is a great way to save time (direct flights) and money. I will choose to fly with them again, even tho My husband & I prob. won't get to sit together. If you know what to expect & plan for it, it is a great way to save."

Cons: "I was denied an entry to the UNITED LOUNGE at Chicago Air port. The lady stated that this lounge is only for the departing passengers! She scanned my boarding card.and I said to her that I am departing to Detroit. She said I can enter if I am a GOLD card member or purchase a day pass for $59.00. I declined. I am under the impression that United is a partner of Lufthansa.and that they should honor the same Business class privileges as Lufthansa. I found it rather discriminatory act on the part of this particular employee of the United lounge at Chicago airport. Pl. bring it to the attention of the Lufthansa and United . I will appreciate follow up on this matter."

Cons: "Too many seats too close together. The entire trip was too hot and stuffy. The flight attendants showed minimal care about the uncomfortable hot and stuffy environment."
Cons: "The United mobile app as well as my emails stated that the gate was B3. Upon arriving at gate B3 and attempting to board, I was alerted that I was at the incorrect gate. The gate was switched to C11. However, my app did not alert me nore did it reflect the gate change. I didn't receive a text or email update. I had to run to the different concourse nearly missing the fling."
Pros: "The crew of this flight were amazing, attentive, and so positive. They certainly made the long flight an enjoyable one. The only challenge was that the in-flight entertainment stopped working 5 hours into the flight. That said, the crew informed us of how United would compensate us for that. As for the landing, that was perfect. We eased onto the tarmac so gently it barely felt as though we had landed."
Cons: "I wasn't too excited that the in-flight entertainment quit working about five hours in, but the crew did their best to remedy the situation. It did stink that we were delayed in disembarking, but that wasn't the fault of the crew. Lastly, I do wish that food came complimentary with it being a 9-hour flight. The options presented were tasty looking but it felt a little like we were being nickeled and dimed."

Cons: "I went on this trip as an veterinary humanitarian out reach. I was also guardian to one high school student so that she might have an experience of such to guild her future. Her flight was missed booked to leave after mine, I attempted to rebook my flight with Luthansia but they would not let me me even partial rebook. I attempted a number of times to rebook the flight but their solution was extreme financial gain for them when more reasonable alternative could have been arranged. They canceled my entire return flight and left me stranded. I had to piece together a return flight on a shoe string budget. Thankfully American Airlines was understanding for it appears Luthansia and United are not."

Cons: "I had no issue with the delay, things happen. I was dealing with a knee injury and the gate plan had us all over the airport. It was quite frustrating to get to a gate in another terminal only to get told we were being moved back to the terminal we had just come from! Then that gate was changed again, involving another long walk on said bad knee!"

Terrible I probably won’t be flying frontier anymore especially paying for a upgrade that was just as terrible as economy anyway crew was bad and the whole three hour plane ride was terrible no drinks offered United even basic economy gets a free drink but frontier paying for a upgrade gets you nothin but closer to the front TERRIBLE

He did reduce the price for me having to pay for 3 people which I do appreciate but it was a horrible experience."

The airline refused to refund us a reasonable amount (they gave me half of the airfare), pay for a hotel or pay for tickets on another airline. This was extra inconveniencing because they delayed the flight three separate times before they cancelled it. I will never fly frontier again."

I did not leave San Diego until 24 hours after my scheduled flight."

It was not just that they were rude to me, I witnessed several different occasions. Everythinggood from a stewardess who lost her temper with a man who didn't speak English for simply not putting up his tray table to the out right disrespect for a man who just wanted some water. I was in shock for the duration of the flight and spoke in depth about it to my girlfriend who was also appalled at the customer service. I do not expect everyone to love their job, but I'feel you work in customer service I do expect you to do your job. I am active duty military and when I boarded the plane, when called, I was looked at by the ticket woman like I was somehow doing something wrong. I expect more out of an airline if I am spending that much money to go on vacation. I feel that the worst part of the experience was that the incidents I witnessed were not only from one worker. Every single one showed a lack of respect and a level of rudeness I have never seen. I usually do not take the time to review anything but because of just how bad this flight was, I decided that this will be my very first review. As of now, if asked their is no way I would ever advise someone to fly with this airline. I would in fact tell them to rebook if I found out they were. I hope you can make this right for the people aboard that flight aND fix the problems that led to this issue."
