Cons: "I don't understand how this company has a high rating in service. We missed our connection because the plane was delayed and they treated us poorly. How can you have a complimentary lounge for people missing their flight but not allow people in. I guess because we were only economy. When asked could we pay for an upgrade to business class, the attendant responded with "oh, its expensive" I didn't ask how much, I asked if we could. I never felt so insulted. The food was terrible. By the time they got to us, our food was cold and they ran out of the menu item we wanted. I have no intention of flying Qatar again. I will stick with Emirates"

Cons: "Qatar in Belgrade didn't tell me about alchocol bottle I bought in the Duty Free and that i could not go with it all the way to melbourne even bag was sealed and receipt was visible. I lost $ buying, because custom in Doha had to take bottle. Its not right. Qatar custom could see in Belgrade and didn't tell me and the same in the Duty Free shop."

Cons: "The check in at Denpasar is horrible. The airport services are very inefficient."

Cons: "Be aware! "When customers purchase tickets they are paying for transportation for the specific class designated on their ticket and not for specific seat assignments. Seat assignments can never guarantee." This is what they emailed me when they did that to me on my pre-selected & confirmed seats!!"

Cons: "Had an 11hr delay overall, 3.5hrs sitting on the tarmac only to be told to disembark for dinner at the airport. Then told that we won't be getting on until 7am the next day, but only really started boarding at 8:30am. By the time we were told about the reschedule to the next morning, it was too late to get a hotel room (too far away) and was told that I could use a 'Quiet Lounge' at the airport (which wasn't quiet). While waiting to board at 7am the next day, ground staff told us that they had to change the plane so there would be a further delay. On boarding, we discovered that it was the SAME PLANE."

Cons: "The way the crew member woke me up for lunch or dinner time.They tapped my shoulder and was pretty disturbed me. If good if you have a sign that we can put next to our seat if we don’t want to be disturbed while we sleep."

Cons: "Although the loading Zone was given as Zone 1, boarding was chaotic because the fround crew was incredibly inefficient. The announcement was totally mumbled and badly managed, Why cant the boarding at Cochin be organised like queues for each zone so that the passengers do not crowd in a mad rush near the gate as if the fliht will leave without them. As in Doha have different seating area for different zones and the ground crew should be trained to be firm to allow only passengers with boarding."

Pros: "The flight got delayed for 4.5 hours. We didnt receive any call, sms or email informing us about the delay. We went to the airport for checkin only to discover that it was delayed! No justification or any reason were given to us. We are travelling with a baby. We had to get a taxi to return to our home and return back to the airport after 4.5 hours. Called qatar airways and send them a xomplaint email. No one cared to answer. The worst flight ever. Will never go with qatar airways anymore"

Pros: "This airline cares about service and customer care. My son was not feeling well and they attended to him and made sure he was feeling good. They even suggested taking him to the clinic at the airport, yes the airport has a medical crew on site to treat passengers."
Cons: "Seats are crammed like US airlines. Not much leg room. But still far better than flying any US airline."

Pros: "Boarding, the welcome on board, the food choice and quality were all excellent. The seat was comfortable and I got a few hours sleep. The entertainment screen was big and clear, and the choice of films was good."
Cons: "The choice of films and tv programmes, was good, but before watching each one i chose, I had to endure a couple off minutes of an advert- the same one every time."

Pros: "Everything was excellent as I have come to expect. The business class seat was not one of those new diagonal ones, but made a full width flat bed, so I could sleep for a few hours. Food and service excellent."

Cons: "I was given two options to choose from for brunch which were scrambled egg with sausage and paratha. Upon asking for paratha I was told that they ran out of Paratha. This happened very first time with me. Even though the crew provided me with excellent service I was surprised to hear the Qatar Airways could run out of food?"

Pros: "The personnel were at the CAI Airport and in the plae were just wonderful. I hope i will have the same experience the second leg if the trip from DOH to DFW"

Cons: "My return flight then follow on with Qatar airways to Baghdad was cancelled and they didnt tell me that on my first leg i could have stayed longer as i was re directed to a later flight making my total layover 18hrs in Doha i rather have stayed in Philippines that extra 8 hrs"

Cons: "Other passengers pushing, coughing & sneezing without proper sanitary measures; dirty toilets. This reflects on the education level of passengers, not the crew, but it still makes flying into Jeddah on packed flights particularly miserable."

Cons: "The flight was delayed for two hours without any warning, despite being registered for the airline's flight notification system. Service was terrible. The flight crew did not offer any kind of apology or explanation for the delay. Food and beverage service was delayed and the staff was forgetful of guests' requests. Upon our arrival in Doha, checked bags did not arrive until 2 hours after we landed! How does an airport receive a 5-star rating, but takes 2 hours to return baggage to its guests? Overall, a poor experience from Qatar Airways."

Pros: "As always, Qatar Airways has new planes, comfortable seats, clean atmosphere, and pretty good leg spaces. They fly on time and land on time."
Cons: "1. Food - It was not that great, especially if you are allergic to cold. It applies to asthmatic patients like me. You have very limited choices. The only hot item in my whole tray was "chicken mixed rice". Everything else from yoghurt to fruits went waste. Can we have HOT FOODS for people like me? 2. Flight Attendants - It seemed that the flight attendants were not so experienced at handling customers. Plus, several of them had poor English. That would have been okay if they had patience to listen to me slowly. But, they seemed to be in hurry and not wait enough to understand my request properly. I was asking HOT WATER and they were repeatedly handing me COLD WATER. Plus, they could see me breathing heavily and feeling great discomfort. Nobody asked me 'ARE YOU OKAY?". It seemed, they didn't care for customers like me. I found a serious lack of CUSTOMER RESPONSIVENESS, forget PRO-ACTIVENESS among several flight attendants. Finally, I found an example of SNOBBERY in the plane. A flight attendant was asking a couple sitting next to me to fill up the FEEDBACK FORM. They looked like from Middle East but were British citizens. They didn't talk to me even though I volunteered at frist to introduce myself. The lady was especially rude to me. They were dressed like high class folks. That's it. They neither represented the hundreds of passengers, especially Indians, in the Economy Cabin, nor were they friendly to fellow passengers. It left me with a feeling that Qatar Airways attendants were judging a book by cover and asking the wrong persons to fill the form who didn't really represent their majority customers for that cabin."

Cons: "Boarding staff give us wrong advice to make extra money from the passenger. They also pressurized us to decide quickly. our each check in baggage was over weight 1 KG or less than 1 KG due to faulty scale at home. Instead of giving us a choice or advice that you are allowed two more hand bags. They pressurized us to make one baggage over weight from all 7 bags and harassed us to do it quickly because they are closing counter in 20 minutes. That's how they charged me another $65. Also they lied on the counter that your seats are in a row but when i went into the plane our seats were separate. Lesson learned don't trust the person over the counter of Qatar airways."

Cons: "The crew and the service wasn't the best. A bit slow, and unfriendly. Not what I expected! It's been very cold."

Pros: "I really liked the service and demeanor of the crew and staff members."
Cons: "I didn't like the handling of an unexpected delay. It seemed to take an hour longer to handle the change over from one plane to another. The staff seemed rather unprepared for how to resolve the issue smoothly and seamlessly. Training in handling unexpected events might be a good way to overcome this."

Cons: "The flight was delayed, i had only 2 hours connection in Chicago for an international flight, they asked passengers to NOT panic and do not ask if they didn't call a passenger name. They will call passengers who would miss thier connection for accommodation otherwise you are safe. Unfortunately I didt ask since they didn't call me, when I reached the gate from Chicago, it was closed."
