I called Delta (wait time 3+ hours... my flight was in 3), and then the Delta app support where I was able to get through to someone. She told me that the ticket I purchased over a month in advance did not guarantee me a seat on the plane (???). She said that if I was bumped from the flight they would reschedule me for the next morning. She was pretty rude and made it seem like I had a 50/50 shot of getting on this plane. I rushed to the airport in hopes that I would be the first from Standby there, and the gate agent told me that I was fine and would board right after first class and be assigned a seat then. Great. Once I got my seat assignment, I board to find out there is someone else sitting in my seat...... They eventually called the desk and had her moved, but it was the weirdest boarding experience I've had.. and I've flown Spirit. These planes that Delta fly's are SO OLD. Both times I have flown Delta the "turbulence" has been so bad and cold air was blowing right on my the whole flight with no option to turn it off (it wasn't from one of the vents, but from the side). Someone close to me works for Delta and I know for a fact that some of their engines blow mid-flight.. and they tell the passengers that it's turbulence.. so that doesn't make me feel very safe. I won't fly Delta again if there is another comparable option."
Cons: "My original flight from IND to LGA was cancelled due to weather and I was rebooked for the next day. I was forced to spend a night in a hotel near the airport. Then my flight the next day kept being delayed, first 5 min, then 20, then 40, etc until 2.5 hrs. Since the delays kept increasing, I decided to rebook on another flight with a very tight connection in Detroit--the only other option. When my flight arrived, the other fight was already boarding and I ran to make it. Luckily I got to the gate in time, just before the door closed. The original flight ended up with a 3.5 hr delay!!! That is unacceptable."

The flight was delayed for five hours due to airplane issues.
Entertainment was very plentiful, staff were courteous. Seating was HORRIBLE. That is the most cramped I’ve ever been on any flight …Jet Blue and Spirit included. Very uncomfortable for a six hour trip.
The entertainment box wasn’t working. The food was mediocre. The fruit was warm. The tiny salad was good. The champagne wasn’t cold. I really expected more from First Class.
Delayed little by little, so there was no chance to sleep longer or go out to eat. Missed connection flight and did not offer allocation, had to request it and $12 for lunch dinner and breakfast. No transport to hotel provided so there is another $120 in uber to get there.
The plane had mechanical issues which caused the flight to be delayed over an hour, which would cause me to miss my connection. I was unable to take this flight so I had to wait 4 1/2 hours for the next available flight to Dallas. I will try to avoid connecting through Chicago or Charlotte since there are limited flights through those cities. American did change my flight for no charge.
The boarding process went very quickly, faster than I’ve ever seen boarding occur. I understand the need for efficiency, but the groups were called so quickly that there was a lot of chaos at the gate and people running through the airport. Then we all sat on the plane for a while, which seemed silly.

We stayed on line for an hour and fnally to be told the flight was cancelled. We were treated less than animals by British Airway. No ACCOMODATION!!!!!!!! No ACCOMODATION!!!!!!! We slept on benches at the airport. To be fair to you, I will not recommend British Airway to anyone."

We were unable to board our flight at the Philadelphia airport because when we arrived (almost 2 hours before our flight) the ticket counter was already closed for the evening. No one from American Airlines could help us. We were left stranded at the ticket counter until it reopened at 3:15 am. We are very disappointed and disgusted with the poor service we received from American Airlines. After hearing multiple horror stories from others, it is safe to say we will never fly that airline again."

One guy told her she could board but the gate agent said no it didn't fit and she couldn't board. Then the agent claimed she had to gate check her bag and claimed there were no overhead spaces left. So everyone after that had to gate check. When I boarded there were at least 8 empty bins and I had not even gotten to my seat in row 22. The gate agent lied and slowed down the entire boarding process because she want to win a fight and show dominance over a passenger."
Cons: "A passenger caused a delay in security, and as I'm rushing for the gate, the agent closed the door and told me I couldn't board. She then marked me as a no-show, while she was standing right next front of her. I had to spend the next 4 hrs on the phone, trying to get my tickets sorted out. Then, upon arriving at Heathrow,... No luggage. They told me it was still in Chicago. Upon finally receiving my bags, I find them full of sawdust and sand, and several items damaged. I will NEVER fly American Airlines again, and I will highly recommend to my friends and family to avoid them like them plague. Horrible service! Nothing but a run-around and not once did the agents apologise, even after admitting that my problems on this journey were due to a mistake made by one of their agents."

On the 4th delay announcement I had to rebook my international flight for the following day because my connection was leaving Chicago while I was still in Columbus. I had to rebook and get a hotel for the night on my own expense since American Airlines won't pay if it is weather related even though the weather was not the issue, rather air traffic control. The plane we got the next day was a smaller uncomfortable plane with zero entertainment and a crew that projected they would rather be anywhere else. I don't blame them, my experiences with American Airlines had been progressively getting worse."

They wouldn't let me board, claiming that my camera bag was a third item that I couldn't have. They then tried to force me to check the suitcase which i explained that I did not want to do, before giving me the chance to place the camera bag in the suitcase (which it fit just fine). They were not understanding or friendly and really made me question my decision of flying with American Airlines."

All should of went well from there but they sent me to the wrong gate. Luckily I just made it to the correct gate for boarding. Upon arriving at Chicago there was no one available to provide information on how to get to Royal Jordanian gates. Also on my AA portion of my flight coming into The U S in New York the flight was cancelled and I was told the next flight Available was next day (18hr delay) at the other NY airport. I had to have someone drive from D.C. (My destination) to pick me up"
The check-in process couldn't have been worse. Besides they have no customer service to speak of, I wasn't able to purchase a 2nd checked bag prior to the trip, the app just wouldn't let me no matter what. I spent over an hour on hold waiting for a rep who wasn't able to help me. At the airport we politely asked the rep to help since we were unable. She flatly refused to do anything. When we asked to speak to a supervisor she said she was one of the most senior people there and if "We're still not happy she can give me a number to call where I can wait on hold for over 2 hours to be told the same thing I'm telling you now." Absolutely atrocious. First and definitely LAST time flying Allegiant.

Loved the flight times, and because of them, we were able to have half a day on departure day (Thursday 3:30 pm) to drop off dogs, pack and run errands and some work and arriving back home (Tuesday 9:46 am) gave us all day to work and get ready for the week."

The screen on my iPhone is bigger than the screen on the seatback which if compared to other airlines is not up to the mark. Cons: "There was no entertainment available on this flight. It's a short flight so I don't expect any, however, I continued on to Phoenix that day from Chicago and that is a long flight. I expected free entertainment on that flight, as it was afforded on the flight on the Phoenix to Chicago leg of my flights earlier in the week. The Chicago to Phoenix had entertainment offered but it there was a fee, which I didn't appreciate and did not take part in. I looked around me as much as possible and didn't see anyone else pay for entertainment. Having in flight movies and TV available for feee is a great incentive for flying with United. If these long flights in the future are pay for view, I will not be flying with you when there are alternative carriers who do provide free entertainment. Thank you."

The fact I was forced to spend money to check a bag and given undo stress about whether or not I'd get bumped because you're not allowed advanced check-in or guaranteed seats with basic economy ticket is not right. Seems the price should simply be the cost to guarantee a basic flight (two carry-on's, guaranteed seat assignment, advanced check-in) so folks can opt out and go for a cheaper ticket on another airline that offer a cheaper fare for the above mentioned guaranteed basic flight options. Felt like a bait and switch."

Cons: "Confusion and lack of communication about the extra screening process in the airport right before boarding. No information provided ahead of time, to alert me to arrive at the boarding gate early for the extra screening. After I passed through the extra security screening at the gate in Munich, and then went to the counter to complete the extra passport check and security questions, I was asked to step aside and wait. No one told me why. I had to insist on an explanation to the airline staff, and realized there was a mistake - they thought I had not gone through the extra security screening before going to the passport check counter, but I had. This created extra stress and delay for me, as this took place when boarding had started. Respectfully, I suggest that staff is more communicative."

EVEN THOUGH I BOUGHT A TICKET AND IT WASNT CHEAP. I was put on a waitlist and finally got a ticket after boarding was supposed to be over. I was appalled by the whole thing. Doing away with basic economy or just giving those who buy those tickets the basic rights that should come with an airline ticket should be considered. How can you deny someone a seat if they bought a ticket months ahead of time? What if I wasn't lucky and couldn't get a seat? Wait until the next flight hours later and get put on a waitlist there too? Something needs to change."

The attendant even said she would ttry to move things around once people were seate without anyone asking. She just knew our row was going to be uncomfortable.. I am tall with big shoulders, the gentleman next to me was large. All that I ask is the attendant come back after all is settled and explain that it wasn't possible to move things around. Although, if there were seats available I should have been offered a different seat. I have flown a lot on different airlines. I've flown on a 15 hour flight overseas. This is BY FAR the most uncomfortable I have EVER been."

Cons: "The gate agent was not helpful when my flight was running late and was going to miss my connection in Chicago. 10 mins is not enough time to taxi to the gate unload and get to my next flight. The doors close 10 mins before even if it was the next gate the door would have been shut. Had to reschedule flight for not the same day or the next day but two days later! During flight my inflight drink was evening coffee and tasted old as if it had been sitting for a while. Was sat next to a sick ER nurse who was coughing and sneezing in and around the open cup. I was sick for 8 and half days following the flight."
Cons: "I don't think I will be choosing to fly with United going forward. The staff at the desks were rude and very short. I had a layover in Chicago and did not receive any notification that my flight was cancelled due to maintenance. I went to each desk to try and find an associate and no one was available to help the several individuals wondering how to get switched to a new flight. All of us were just given a phone number to call. Once I found someone thy told me that there was no seats available on any of the flights. They found one seat on a plane that was going to laguardia instead of my destination of Newark and then proceeded to tell me that my bags will still go to Newark and it was my job to make sure I filed to get them. (Same thing happened the last time I flew with United) I'm very disappointed all together with how I was treated as a customer."

Also the leg room was a joke. We barely had any room to move. I probably won't fly coach on united again due to the bad taste it left in my mouth. Unfortunate because it's hub is in chicago."

Narrowly avoided having to check my hand luggage through to Nice, France, which would have been the second time on a row! Why, oh, why can't they ENFORCE the carry-on rules that are supposed to limit the size and number, as they do in Europe?! If you're in group 5, forget carry-on."
Frontier you really should evaluate your business and how you treat customers who’s spending there money on your business where not obligated remember that just like how frontier is a million dollar company you can lose as well don’t be too greedy
The black flight attendant with braids is way out of line. She basically assaulted me by running into me like 3 times on purpose after I asked nicely to be moved due the large man in my isle. She told me no, the plane was empty So this should not have been an issue. She also started an issue with another passenger in a racist manner… also just a tip when a flight is empty spread people out a little bit specially during a pandemic. I will never fly frontier nor recommend it again because of that woman.

Pros: "The flight itself was a nice flight. The captain and first officer were communicative and the few times we experienced turbulence I felt like they immediately tried to minimize it. I had a good amount of room in my seat (I was not in an emergency exit row) and I had no problems with my luggage."
Cons: "There was a 2 hour delay to take off. When your flight is at 7am and you've woken up at 3:30 or 4 to get to the airport on time, it's a bit frustrating to wait an extra 2 hours to leave. The gate agents were woefully uninformed and when they did communicate with passengers it was vague and unhelpful. The gate agents kept referring to the need for "maintenance" on the aircraft. It doesn't inspire a great deal of confidence in the soundness of the plane to hear that the maintenance crew is trying to "fix something in the cockpit." The Departures monitors and my Kayak app were giving me delay updates before the gate agents were. At one point we switched gates (it was the gate directly across from the original gate) and I watched as passengers at one gate literally traded places with passengers at another gate because the flights had swapped gates. It was comical. Overall, just a disorganized, uninformative, frustrating mess."
Cons: "after typing in my contact information correct, it made it to frontier incorrect. I was UNABLE to resolve online, as when trying to fix my name that the Kayak API messed up (appended first+middle name) it wanted me to pay $1,000+ dollars because it acted like I was transferring my tickets. It took FOREVER to get to a person to fix this over the phone. This is the day and age everyone wants to send you through every possible automated prompt before getting a real person. The flight itself was fine, getting to be able to get on it was a giant pain."

I never heard anything from them! I just assumed it was just taking forever for them to approve my refund... Therefore...assuming that the flight was still booked...SINCE I never APPROVED ANY REFUND... I visited kiwi.com several times before the the trip & there was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING informing me of any trip cancellation... I went to the airport... Wasn’t able to board... Cons: "We had all sorts of issues with this trip. I booked flights months in advance because I liked the flight times and the fact they offered a direct flight. I was then contacted by the airline to say that they had to change the flight times, which unfortunately no longer worked for our trip as we were leaving on a cruise… Both the departing and returning flights were affected. This caused us to have to stay an extra night in Orlando as the flight was too early for us to be able to depart our cruise ship and get to the airport. They did offer us $50 vouchers per passenger for the inconvenience but that did not nearly cover the cost of the hotel or transportation that was needed. Boarding for our departing flight seemed fine. We arrived at the airport an hour and a half before our flight with no issues. However when we arrived in Orlando the airline had lost all five of our suitcases containing everything we needed for our week long cruise that was departing the next day. The airline could not tell us what happened to the bags or where they were, or when they would arrive. We were forced to spend our extra day in Orlando shopping and replacing clothing items and swimsuits for the cruise. It was a huge pain and inconvenience and put a huge damper on our trip. They did offer a reimbursement amount per passenger per day that we were without luggage but I have a little confidence that I will ever see this money. The lady in the baggage office was as helpful as could be but it was clear that this happens far too often. I also did not like how you are nickel and dimed for everything on this airline… You have to purchase seats to ensure your family will get to sit together, pay a higher amount for checked baggage than other airlines, pay for carry-on bags ( in retrospect I should have done this since they lost our checked bags) and you have to pay for any drinks (including soda or juice) and snacks while in flight. This was our first time flying frontier airlines and the whole experience was a major turn off."
Pros: "When I told people I was taking Frontier, they scoffed, rolled their eyes, and joked that I'd have to pay to use the bathroom. Well, it wasn't THAT bad. In fact, I got an assigned seat (in contrast to Southwest). Plane was fairly new, and the seat wasn't too small (then again, not super big). One flight attendant tried to make the atmosphere festive since we were going to Vegas and some people got absolutely shit-faced on the flight. I thought this was kind of cool, but I'm sure some people were annoyed since the drunks got VERY loud. For the price, I would definitely go to Vegas from Indy on Frontier again."
Cons: "1. The guy in charge of the check-in area yelled at one of his employees and humiliated her in front of me. Super awkward. 2. They really do charge for water. OK, I can see charging for a Coke, but water? I thought there was a law saying airlines HAD to provide water on request for health reasons. Then again, I had a huge water bottle from home, so why am I bitching?!"
Cons: "The tickets look like a deal until they charge for every other thing. The information regarding what bag can be carried on without a fee is very confusing. We paid and then saw people rolling cases and putting them in the overhead bin. The seat prices are ridiculous so you don't want to pay for a seat they will assign you for free, I was then told I had to go to the gate to get a seat assignment even though I had already purchased a ticket. I waited for almost an hour before someone showed up. I was told the only seats left were the exit rows. Luckily I am healthy. If I have paid for a ticket Frontier should guarantee me a seat. We had to wait in line even though we had already paid for our bags and some of us went on line and checked in and had boarding passes. Where is the short cut then?? It was so convoluted we will never fly Frontier again. Too much work, let me pay for the ticket and let me have a bag and give me a seat for crying out loud. The flight crew was great. Very nice."

Cons: "They gave our captain to an Atlanta flight. We had to wait for another captain to get to DIA. Then we got loaded up and had to wait for the east gate to open, then they had to map out another plan I.e., the northeast gate (and that didn't materialize) soooo we sat on the plane until we receive the okay to depart on "the east gate". Which was approximately 21:30. We finally arrived at approximately 01:00 a little more than hour late. It took better than 30 minutes for us to get our luggage. Stupid crazy that a person is paying ridiculous prices for pitiful customer service."

You interrupt my already terrible nap so you can try to sell the entire plane your "no-black-outs" Mastercard. The cabin was much too hot, people complained and nothing was done -- adding insult to injury, water costs money. Every aspect of buying a ticket is littered with popups to upsell you to something "better" or more "exclusive". The entire experience from buying a ticket to touch-down was dehumanizing and an insult my intelligence."
Pros: "I really did not feel any more crowded or uncomfortable than any other airplane Ive been on. I sort of like that the tray tables are the size of a large cell phone- less bulky than regular tray tables."
Cons: "The crew wasn't bad, just seemed unhappy to be there. There was some confusion with which gate we should be at, changed us three times before settling on the original gate. Boarding was no problem but then we waited without taking off for over 45 minutes. The pilot came over the intercom and informed us that he had no idea why we were delayed to take off, but that he would "find shortcuts" to get us there on time. The biggest gripe that we have is once we landed and went to baggage, several of us waited for golf clubs for close to an hour before a worker realized "they forgot" to turn on the button to allow oversized items to come out. Then she said "sorry I was busy with ticketing and Frontier doesn't have a baggage attendant". I just dont think the extra savings was quite worth the frustration."
Pros: "Staff was polite onboard. The price was pretty amazing for such a last minute flight, even after paying for the extras here and there. On my return flight there were no delays and the crew even got us in 45 mins early. Outbound flight was very delayed but they took accountability and offered a voucher."
Cons: "Staff at the kiosk desk they were snippy and short. A lady and her son were waiting in line and never even acknowledged. Flight was not even on the screen at the airport, and once a monitor showed the flight it didn't indicate it was late. Pay for choosing a seat, bucket seats that don't recline, pay for you to have a bag, pay for water... feels like gimmicks to charge more because they offer such low fares. Also, Frontier is notorious for delays which can interfere with plans and was experienced on outgoing flight."

Cons: "The crew people at the Frontier check-in desk were very unhelpful and rude. We missed our flight because we arrived at the counter to check our bags past the cutoff time to be checked in by 1 minute (due to long lines). That was partially our fault but the representative who was helping us did absolutely nothing to help us problem solve and seemed almost pleased to tell us that she couldn't take our bags. I rarely see such bad customer service. I have heard that Frontier pays their staff very poorly compared to other airlines and I assume this is why the customer service reps are so jaded."
Pros: "I was very surprised at all of the small things and extra charges that you had for the flight. For example, even just paying for a soda on board I thought was a little overboard. And then once my flight was canceled they were of no help on rescheduling my flight and were not able to find another frontier flight for four more days. Myself and others were left to reschedule our own flights without any repayment of the difference in ticket price. I will not fly this airline again I caution everyone else at the lack of customer support and professionalism ."

Pros: "Frontier has constant hidden charges. I flew to my destination using my Frontier phone app and when I went to fly back I was not able to submit on Frontier's boarding pass on my phone Frontier phone app. I had to use a computer which caused me to delay my boarding pass and the reason Frontier did not let me get my boarding pass on the phone app as Frontier wanted me to choose a seat and charge additional charges. I did not accept this choice and let Frontier choose my seat for no cost. Frontier needs to change to access your boarding pass on their phone app. I could see the boarding pass on the app after I went into a regular computer and kept saying "NO" to additional cost of baggage and seating cost. The Frontier airlines seats do not recline and are hard plastic seats and not comfortable. (I only weight 125 lbs) Also, during the flight I had to hear the commercial of Frontier credit card commercials over the loud speaker. I wanted to sleep not listen to commercials of their credit card. They charge for all food and drinks except water which is fine since it was only a 2 hour flight."
Cons: "My partner had a change of plans and cancelled her flight so Frontier could resell her seat. In the process the agent also erroneously cancelled my flight. I did not discover this until I arrived at the airport two hours from home. After an extremely frustrating 2+ hours on the phone with customer service I finally got to Edwin Watkins in the corporate office who made it right by paying for a flight on an alternate carrier. So a big shout-out to Mr. Watkins, but very poor grades for customer service prior to that who offered my non-solutions such as flying out the next day, or a full refund which would have then required me to pay astronomical last-minute airfares on a different carrier. Also frustrating was being told repeatedly that the agent would be back on the line in five minutes and then hearing nothing for 20 minutes or more. Like some other reviewers, I also was not aware of the fee for carry on baggage. I don't object to this approach to pricing, but I think it needs to be very explicit up front. Spirit Airlines uses a similar pricing model but they do a much better job making it all clear to the customer up front. Finally, I gather there are some seats that recline while most do not. I was right behind one of the reclining seats and felt pretty crowed. Presumably this would be less of an issue in rows with non-reclining seats in front."

Cons: "The fees were excessive! I flew American the week before with no fee for a carry-on. $40.00 was a shock. I bought my tickets through Kayak, and was not given a chance to choose a seat after the purchase (not true with American). When I remembered that I did not have a seat, I had to pay another fee of $13.00. I usually would not mind that there was NO service, not even water, but, again, this flight was so close to another that it was impossible not to compare. I will not be flying with Frontier again."
Cons: "I understand that a lot of flights are charging for snacks and drinks these days and calling it a la carte (to make it sound fancy enough to justify the expense), but it is ridiculous to be expected to pay $3 for a bag of pretzels or a soda on a flight. Hiding that cost in the price of the ticket gives a MUCH better impression than being on the flight and waiting for the long-standing cherished ritual of accepting your meager snack, only to find that you have to pay $6 for it. Between this and the overall discomfort of the seats (they didn't recline, so I couldn't nap), the lack of in-flight magazine (if I can't nap, can't I at least pass the time with a crossword?), the carry-on fee, and the fact that the flight crew reminded us four or five times that they were also the clean-up crew so we should help them out by not littering, it was the most uncomfortable of any flight I have ever taken."

Cons: "the price for the trip does not include that you have to pay for Carry-on, and seat assignment, which is an odd expense to passengers. Especially for shorter trips with the round trip the carry on charge would equal up to at least $60. Which would equal to another airline who is comparatively better especially because those airlines aren't worrying about charging the customers for every single thing. So even though I comparison shop for my ticket, by the time I paid for these additional fees, I could have purchased a ticket from another airline for less money."
Pros: "I made it home in one piece"
Cons: "Frontier is overpriced, has terrible customer service, is always late, and has the most uncomfortable seats I've ever experienced."

Cons: "I have never flown Frontier before, and I never will again. First off, I always travel light and never check bags. This usually means I can check in via the kiosk right away with flights, but this was NOT the case with Frontier. For some unknown reason, I had to check in with the desk agent. There was a line. A LONG line. Not only that, but there actually weren't any desk agents, as they don't show up until 2 hours prior to the flight. It took over an hour to accomplish a task which usually takes less than a minute, and due to the long line I barely made it to my flight, despite showing up at the airport 2 and half hours early. Flight #1 - Like I said, I have never flown Frontier. I didn't know it was possible to make an airplane so uncomfortable. I understand it is a budget airline, but there are ZERO comforts. The seats are grey plastic, completely rigid and with no tilt. They are crammed together so close that finding any sort of sleeping position is nearly impossible. The fact that you have to pay an extra $30 for ONE carry on and then pay for ANY sort of drink/snack equates to actually paying about the same for a flight with another airline. Want to check an item? You're actually paying MORE than you wold with another airline. Flight #2 - Took off over an hour and half LATE because the system was down. The gate agents literally read off EVERY NAME one by one, over 200 people, to check them in and get them on the plane. They also filled the plane from back to front, which is proven to be the SLOWEST way to board passengers on a plane. Flight #3 - This was an early flight. 6am. I woke up with an email alert from Frontier saying that the flight was delayed until 7:30. Understandably, I was upset. This would cause me to miss my connecting flight. Luckily, I decided to go the airport anyway instead of getting another hour of sleep. Good thing too, because the flight was in fact NOT delayed. If I had heeded the alert email, I would have missed my flight for being late. Flight #4 - This flight, on the other hand, WAS delayed. 2 hours. The gate was changed 3 times and another aircraft had to be found due to malfunctions with the first. Honestly, I don't understand how Frontier is still in business. Worst travel experience of my life. I will never fly Frontier again and I have already started telling all of my friends not to use their services. -Adam"

Cons: "There was a mix-up in the baggage loading, thus we were delayed about 40 minutes or so...it seemed longer since it was a late flight. The attendants were very nice, air-conditioning made it all comfortable during the long wait. I totally understand how accidents can happen and I think the crew handled the delay very well. The attendant was very nice and during refreshment service, my daughter asked for 2 glasses of water and she gave them to us. We had not planned to be on the plane so long so I had not brought along anything to drink. All in all, it was a good flight. Thank you."
Pros: "great flights with Frontier from Orlando to St Louis and back! Staff was very friendly, plane was clean, flights were on time, checked bags ready quickly and I was also happy to select the seat I wanted with many options available. Will definitely fly again with Frontier, hopefully from Orlando to Denver with my family in the near future! :)"
Pros: "I loved the price of the tickets. My children spend the summer between Iowa and Alabama. So we travel a lot. I normally drive to Kentucky to meet up with Grandma to let them go north for part of the summer. However, this year I have planned a honeymoon, and even planned going to Virginia two weekends back to back. I thought I would fly to St. Louis from Atlanta to cut down on the driving. (I tend to get sick on road trips anyway, a flight would be nice). I found these tickets for around $50 each. I needed 3. Got them. The flight to St Louis was quick. We landed 20 mins ahead of schedule. (Made my return trip great as I was back on the same plane and was sorta freaking out about making it back to the gate in time) Landed in St Louis walked to baggage claim met up with Grandma returned with time to spare. The return flight was the same. I did not like the seats. I ended up with a massive migraine no fault of the airline but I would have loved to have been a little more comfortable. It has been a long time from my last flight and this one. The price of baggage went up. (As well as tickets which is one reason its been a while) I did notice that the airline is wanting you to prepay for baggage when you purchase the tickets. In the long run makes in SO MUCH EASIER! And with the most recent issues with TSA and getting through security that speeds things up. I paid for one checked bag. And using the frontier site was cheaper than I would have been charged at the airport. Overall I can't complain. I did make it to and from my destination on time and safely. My bag was in one piece. The seats not being the best is a minor detail. Oh. And unlike some of the other flights this one did not offer free drinks and snacks. I've flown Southwest, and Delta I was offered a soft drink and a small bag of something. I was offered to purchase these from this line. Found it odd."

Cons: "I was disappointed in the surprise costs of luggage. I packed everything in a carryon so that I wouldn't have to pay for a check bag, but turns out a carry on costs $40 at check in. I understand it was a cheap flight, but I may have made a different decision if I knew there was an extra hidden cost of $80 round trip. On other notes, on the first flight of my two, the plane was swerving back and forth on takeoff and landing. The weather was fine, and I've flown plenty enough to know this wasn't normal. My second flight was fine. It was on the same plane, but the crew changed, so I guess it was pilot causing it to be this way? The seats were uncomfortable in coach for long periods of time compared to other airlines, and did not recline."

Cons: "When booking and checking in, no opportunity to enter Known Traveler ID number, so did not get TSA precheck. No information when booking about additional charges - $30 for a carry-on bag?? additional fees almost doubled the price of the ticket. On the flight, the volume of pilot announcements were very loud, crew said it was a new plane and the volume wasn't adjusted yet. I have never been on a flight where I had to pay for water! I have since learned Frontier doesn't allow TSA precheck - will never fly this airline again for that reason."

Cons: "What entertainment? What comfort? Your planes are ridiculously uncomfortable. It's almost like they were designed distinctly for DISCOMFORT. I am a small person, and it doesn't take much for me to be comfortable in a seat. I feel sorry for ANYONE who has to sit in these seats, especially larger sized or those with chronic pain or disability. The arm rests are like daggers, almost no space in the seat pocket, and the tray "table?" You're kidding us with this, right? I will not purchase a ticket for a flight on Frontier that is longer than 3 hours. There is no way my body could take that. Hate the "a-la-carte" business. Give us a complimentary beverage - at least. Come on! I can see making us pay for overhead baggage - you'll squeeze every last penny out of that one, but making people pay to choose a regular seat? I think that's excessive greed."

Cons: "I chose this flight because of cost - and even took a red-eye, which I dislike. I was not aware of the additional costs for the luggage, which did not make the flight that much cheaper - all the airlines I usually use include a personal item and one carry-on as part of the ticket. On top of that, you have to buy everything during flight - would have loved some coffee, but that's extra! The seats did not recline and the padding was not comfortable at all - I was uncomfortable and sore during flight. It isn't worth it, use another airline!"
Pros: "Never flew with any other airlines aside from United until I flew for the first time with Frontier. I have to say, I had a pretty good experience. I didn't expect the best accomidations compared with a major airline. But for a budget airline, I'm actually surprised and happy that there was a straight flight from MCO to STL. I couldn't find other airlines with a straight flight. I also loved how helpful the ticketing personel and boarding employee helped me out and answered some of my concerns. They were super polite and quick to help. They also had a very relaxed/laid back attitude I liked."
Cons: "I understand it's a budget airlines, but I didn't like the fact that you aren't allowed a carry-on item unless you purchase one. Most other airlines would allow one free carry-on and one free personal item. Due to this, I didn't get to pack as much as I needed for my trip. And also, it was not informed that guest had to pay for a carry-on. I was lucky enough to call the hq a day before my flight. It just so happened to be one of my concerning questions. The flight attendants were overall okay, but there were some instances that I felt they were incompetent but also not as thorough. I had trash to throw away and they passed me 3 times before I was able to throw it away. Plus I turned on my assistance light so they would come pick it up, but it took them a good 15/20 minutes to finally check in me and by that time my trash was already picked up. The seats and trays aren't as comfortable as I hoped. And I get it's a budget airlines, but that's also the reason why my flight was less comfortable or entertaining."
Pros: "The crew was very professional and very nice. The equipment was new and clean, which is also greatly appreciated. Excellent job in these two areas."
Cons: "Absolutely do not like that Frontier Airlines does not offer TSA Pre-Check service for its passengers who are enrolled in the program. I was not aware of this ahead of time, but it was confirmed to me after looking at my ticketing and speaking with several TSA agents from my departing airport, Orlando (MCO). They said Frontier is one of the very few carriers that do not participate in this program for some reason. I would love to know what that reason is? This is a very important feature for me. Without a good reason for not offering this service, I must say I am far less likely to chose Frontier in the future, along with having to make recommendations to my colleagues to avoid Frontier for this reason for their travel needs as well."
Pros: "Considering I almost didn't get a seat in the plane even though I paid for my flight prior to the fly day, there isn't much that I did like. However, I do realize that it was not any of the crews fault. With that being said, I loved how informational and informative and polite the flight crew was. Even the pilot had great communication with us and the flight attendants."
Cons: "Well where should I start. Talk about delay and they wouldn't even up date up on the delays either. When I would walk up to the desk and ask he was too busy to answer any of my questions. I also got there early and I aparntly didn't have a seat on the plane! I was going home to supruze my father for easter and there was no way I could have gone any later. I waited for everyone else to line up and go inside and get their seat because I noticed that my ticket has NN on my seat number and my zone was 99. This is very uncalled for. Considering that I payed an outrageous cost for one damn flight to Illinois in which I know you all do every night! They closed the doors to the hallway to the plane and informed not only myself but 3 others to go to the desk and they would figure out what they could! THERE WAS A WOMEN WHO HAD BEEN TRYING TO GET HOME FOR 3 DAYS. So you obviously had screwed her over and now you were about to screw all of us. Now I will say yes I am very upset with you at Frontier. But I was not about to take it out on the people working at the airport. The companies practice of overbooking is unexceptable during this time of year, Easter weekend, and not saving a seat for a women who has been trying to go home for three days. I am very upset and my ticket was very overpriced. Specially for how I got treated, due to he overbooking. Now they had one seat saved/ left over and because I kept my calm and didn't yell at your workers inside he airport they offered it to me. But if it was not for my calmness I would not be home with my family. That right there is unexceprtable!"

Cons: "March trip to Orlando should consider types of travelers - families with small kids. Flight delayed over 2 hours, baggage pickup took an hour. Kids over tired. Argument between grandmother with small kids on couple without kids occurred while waiting to deplane. Seems like flight priority should be altered. Had to wait on flight from Denver? I am sure that flight did not have nearly as many small children on that flight. Early flight to Orlando would make more sense to me. Why an hour for baggage? Due to delay, several of us lost our rental car reservations in Orlando."
Cons: "Worst experience ever. I am a frequent flyer and I will NEVER give frontier my business again. Our flight was delayed without explaination... Hidden fees... I paid $350 to bring 3 bags. And I had to pay for my seat... ludacris... I was 45 minutes early for my departure and was told I was 2 MINUTES too late and I could not board the plane. ZERO courtesy, compassion, or help from the crew. They gave me a blank stare as I balled like a baby (Trying to get home to my infant son) ... Proceeded to tell me there was nothing they could do and that for $200 I could fly home the following night!! 200 dollars for a flight I already paid for!!... They even charge for WATER for crying out loud ... I could go on... pitaful."
