What Copa did not know that there are some exceptions (which they don’t know and of which we just found out) allowed by WHO which would have let us continue our trip to Managua. Will never, ever fly Copa again. Actually I advise everyone else to stay away from Copa."

Cons: "Copa check in is now at Terminal 3, but boarding is from Tom Bradley Inter'l Terminal. We did not see a regular "high placed" sign for Copa which caused us to make two circuits until we saw the street side sigm which is in a nondescript area and easy to miss. My entertainment touch screen was not responsive and sticky. It froze twice. However after bringing it to the attention of the crew, they did make the effort of resetting it. In this regard I highly commend the very tall FA who was a credit to his profession. It still had problems but did work somewhat. I will add that in all my prior experiences in which this problem occurs the FA's are too busy, or forget to reset the entertainment system, so I happy that he did. The interior did not seemed to be very clean there were food stains on the pull out tray and no in flight magazine in my seat pocket. the cabin crew was nice, youngish but did not have enough personality to tell off passengers doing things that they shouldn't out of common courtesy like the passenger seated next to me playing Chinese language videos out loud on his i phone. The same group spent a lot of time burping and then spending an inordinate length of time picking their teeth with wooden toothpicks which did not make for a pleasant scene. I almost lost my appetite seeing which what vigor they went at it, what were they expecting to find? They would then spit the residue in the air making me a bit nauseous. The food was dire especially the two melted cheese/beef/chicken sandwiches served near the last third of the trip. The main lunch ravioli meal served earlier was not bad. The bottom line is that the flight was uneventful with nothing to note, but there is definite room for improvement."

I had to call the online number to get another flight and they tried numerous times to talk to her but she refused. Yet, I would see devil spawn on her phone laughing and joking and talking... but too busy to help the consumer. She was awful. Horrible."

When we purchase tickets we do submit an email id, don't we? Then why is it so difficult to just send updates to that email. It was not until I subscribed to Spirit Airlines flight updates that I was issued updates that were late and outdated. For example: I got an email at 10:50PM that the flight take off was at 11:11PM instead of 11:56PM. I know it is imperative that passengers reach the airport atleast 2 hours before take off. But who would imagine/expect Spirit not to accommodate help when the TSA check to their terminal is closed."

The plane looked brand new and the attendants assisted in keeping it in good shape by bringing garbage bags around often."

Cons: "A. Late departure (50 minutes). Okay, it's Christmas. I get that. BUT, the fuel tank was overloaded so we had to wait on the tarmac to burn it off which caused most of the delay. Also, the plane had excessive weight which contributed to the latter. I NEVER had the problem with another airline. B. Baggage claim. It took forever to get my bag, both in Detroit and Los Angeles. Not helpful when you're tired, late, and want to get home. C. A minor thing. I saw the pilots get out of the cockpit at least 3 times during the flight (1 pilot twice, the other pilot once). The flight attendant always blocked the entrance to the galley and stood guard which is standard. Okay, so you gotta pee. I get that. But, it's a little disconcerting when this happens during turbulence and you know only 1 pilot is flying the plane. Granted, the auto pilot is really flying the plane at cruising altitude. But, it just made me nervous to know only 1 pilot was in the cockpit during these times. Also, the pilot that went to the bathroom twice ended up chatting with the flight attendant after for a 10 +/- minutes. Again, a little disconcerting and I NEVER saw that before. Just sayin."
