Cons: "crew was rude and unhelpful with delayed flight"
Cons: "My direct flight was cancelled and rebooked with a connecting flight."
Cons: "This is my 4th time getting my flight cancelled with air Canada for no apparent reason. The food was horrible and the service was worse. Never again."
Cons: "Terrible service in checking luggage in at Grenada airport. Not the fault of Air Canada"
Pros: "Air Canada's business seat is one of the best out there, and the crew on this flight was super friendly. Extra props to the service director, Joseph."
Cons: "Boarding was slow for business class joining after zone 2 announced. Despite being parked at a gate with two jetbridges, only one was used. AC could use a refresh on its entertainment selection - hasn't changed much over the summer."
Cons: "One hour late"
Cons: "Flight was delayed"
Pros: "Good price"
Cons: "Horrible customer care"
Cons: "The flight was late."
Cons: "Food options weren't given until flight attendant was walking the aisle which was too late to obtain payment to tender for a meal option."
Pros: "We didn't crash"
Cons: "Terrible service by the Air Canada stewardess. She was surly and unprofessional. Just flat out rude."
Cons: "the staff at Toronto airport are awful. all of them gave me different instructions when my reservation between Toronto and Newark was cancelled. they left my checked in my suitcase at Toronto and delivered to my apartment 2 days after. I don't want to use them again!"
Pros: "Flight crews were great."
Cons: "Ground crews and Air Canada's booking system caused no end of trouble. Weather started the problem but human error meant an incredibly stressful rebooking, requiring three agents at ticketing plus the IT help desk just to figure out what the agent I had reached over the phone had done. In Quebec City not nearly enough agents to check bags; huge lines, people being shunted to the front so they wouldn't miss their flights."
Pros: "All was well. Thanks"
Cons: "Flight was delayed but overall trip was good"
Pros: "Leg room was good"
Cons: "Video screen"
Cons: "Late leaving. Plane packed full. Cramped seating, overhead bins full. Carry on baggage seems unregulated. Air Canada does little to make flying pleasant. Cramped seating getting worse and worse. If you are tall, be prepared to suffer."
Cons: "Not aconfortable plane"
Pros: "Drop off at the counter was fast and easy on the upper level departure entrance. From my drop off at 9:00 am, I made it thru baggage check-in, passing thru passport control, passing thru security and into the gate duty free area in 25 mins! Impressive experience."
Cons: "With an hour delay out of Paris due to waiting for missing aircraft flight documents to be completed and delivered to the airplane on the holding ramp, we ended up arriving in Toronto an hour late. With only an original connection time of 90 minutes, it was not possible for me to make it thru Canadian and US customs to the connection gate. I was to learn that no other connection to a Kansas City was available until much later in the afternoon / early evening. As a result, I ended up arriving in Kansas City 6 (six) hours later than originally scheduled, three quarters of the time it took to travel from Paris to Toronto. To say the least , I was not at all thrilled having lost that time."
Cons: "Finding gate was a problem. Air Canada personnel gave me bad info on Gare and would not give me a ride. Going outside and up steps to board is unsafe for people with balance issues. Would have to be a great deal to get me on air Canada again"
Pros: "Boarding process was good"
Cons: "No free snacks offered"
Pros: "Staff was very nice"
Cons: "I always enjoy flying Porter Airlines because they give you one drink and a small snack for free. For a 5 hour flight I was surprised there wasn't anything complimentary.."
Pros: "The ONLY part of flying Air Canada that I used to like was your partnership with SAS, over the past ten years I have lost more airtravel points through Star Alliance troubles than I could have made in the decade before. Luckily when I fly from my birth place of St. John's NL, you're ground staff are the absolute best! I can give "shout outs" to each and every one of them. From those ready for retirement to the new staff just in from "who knows where", they get the whole "customer service" priority that your airline needs to focus on. Your management in Halifax "Sharon" is out of this world too, other than that whether through Lufthansa, Air Canada or anywhere I would travel, seeing that red leaf on your wing would make me ashamed to be Canadian."
Cons: "I paid extra for a seat to ensure leg room, all I got was ear ache! The flight - although half empty had no place for my briefcase, but I was "ordered" to push my sealskin bag under the dirty greasy seat in front of me. When I requested they store it upfront for take-off & landing - the french female steward started flirting with the man sitting next to me and didn't even offer a response. When drinks came around - I was handed a half empty glass with juice on it's exterior and borrowed a napkin from the next seat. Later I did get a napkin "thrown gently" over the person she enjoyed speaking with. I was happy to wait until connecting passengers disembarked before the local traffic, but was appalled when the more senior female steward stopped a local passenger who I know has anxiety about flying - to insist she let the other passengers off first. Air Canada needs to be educated on what human behaviour entails, before they can graduate to customer service. Together with my first name, you can know my last name is Floyd"
Pros: "Seats are comfortable and I had plenty of leg room."
Cons: "No snacks offered with drink. Boarding wasn't well organized. Toronto airport is horrible... long lines at customs and security caused me to miss my connection for the second time in a row."
Pros: "Was offered water frequently :-) at least didn't have to ask or pay for it. Entertainment was offered. Limited choices."
Cons: "There was no announcement for boarding and we found out only when we ASKED personally. Nothing on the board, nothing through speakers. Smaller aircraft for this leg of the journey, not to blame, but seats are old and need refurbishing. They're not torn or anything but not comfortable at all. Restroom very small and uncomfortable like a truck stop. Always a line at the door."
Pros: "Air canada needs a serious serious overhaul of the way they treat their customers especially those working at the Toronto airport I find their employees have an "entitlement" mentality that other carriers do not Customer service seems to be a priority not talking to your coworkers about the weekend while serving your customers"
Cons: "There was one employee who suggested to take an earlier flight and was very helpful Little things go along way"
Pros: "Traveling back to the US have Global Emtey or Nexus Like the free movies watched half of movie on the way to acanandr and half on the way back. Thank you"
Cons: "Last time I traveled to Canada I probably used a passport. BUT I never knew that I needed it I thought u could travel with my drivers lisence. Remind travelers to take their passport"
Pros: "Flight attendants were attentive and friendly."
Cons: "It was very hot on the plane."
Cons: "We left late in a plane with little air, got to Nashville and had to sit for an hour on the runway in a hot plane due to hate not ready. Clearly not staffed properly as there were multiple open gates in plain sight."
Pros: "AC is dependable and safe."
Cons: "Our return flight NYC to Victoria was delayed at La Guardia by 1.5 hours which reduced our rating from excellent to good."
Cons: "Staff was rude. And I was seated next to an alchoholic"
Pros: "Comfy seats, awesome new movies to watch. Great staff, very helpful"
Cons: "No free snacks, I mean they came around with drinks but you had to pay for all of the food"
Cons: "Small, older plane = not much room and very little comfort Arrived late because?!?!?!?"
Pros: "Entertainment system did not work"
Cons: "Crew provided a card to contact air Canada for compensation"
Pros: "A United Airlines employee assisted me by answering questions that I had. This same employee actually came to find me when the Air Canada ticket gate opened early and knew I was waiting to get my boarding pass. Greatly appreciated.."
Pros: "Lots of leg room. Friendly and helpful staff. Smooth flight and comfortable seats."
Cons: "We didn't like all the walking to get to and from the plane in Terminal 2, Heathrow. Anywhere else in the world would transport people by bus if it was going to be a twenty minute walk to the departure gate."
Cons: "My carry on bags were checked in till Toronto and NOT lax ??? Checkin crew not helpful caused me lot of grief- I had to get the bags out from customs at Toronto and then take them on board for the flight to LAX- Customs and immigration- unnecessary hassle!!"
Pros: "Amazing leg room for my 6'1 partner on the regular seat."
Cons: "My entertainment system was not working so I had to share my partners beside me."
Cons: "We were stuck at the back of the plane with the kids who don't behave."
Pros: "Staff mice"
Cons: "Delayed , causing delays and missed apt at destination"
Cons: "Lost our bag"
Pros: "Good flight."
Pros: "The crew was very nice."
Cons: "It was like flying in 1995. They may want to consider buying more modern planes."
Cons: "Lack of space for carry ons."
Pros: "short, easy flight from Indy to Toronto. Very professional and nice flight attendants, easy boarding, easy departure. Thank you!"
Pros: "The flight was right on time, which meant that we made our connection to London with time to spare, and our checked bags made the connection, too."
Cons: "Air Canada canceled our originally booked flight and substituted a terrible connection. But we contacted viama and suggested an alternative, which viama got Air Canada to accept. So, in the end, everything worked out beautifully."
