Attendant said it was because tickets bought too close to take off don't get to pick seats, but we bought our tickets about three weeks before. It would've made more sense to put that person in one of our seats and us in that row to give four people more space instead of just one."

Then my flight the next day kept being delayed, first 5 min, then 20, then 40, etc until 2.5 hrs. Since the delays kept increasing, I decided to rebook on another flight with a very tight connection in Detroit--the only other option. When my flight arrived, the other fight was already boarding and I ran to make it. Luckily I got to the gate in time, just before the door closed. The original flight ended up with a 3.5 hr delay!!! That is unacceptable."

The entire American staff were the most disorganized and careless flight personnel I have ever seen. Them they put me on a standby flight, where I was number eight and five minutes later was number eighteen, so I missed that, too. My wife is one of the top Public Relations people in Los Angeles and we both have tweeted and posted on social media extensively about this horrendous experience. I require a full refund from American Airlines for my airfare, and if I don't receive it from you will take you to court. --Eric Red"

No point in booking through a 3rd party for that type of hassle."

Cons: "UA flights always get delayed and this time I failed to catch my connecting flight to London. I was rescheduled to the flight in the morning of the second day. And when we were heading for London half way, the pilot said some sensors stopped working and we had to come back to Dulles. To be honest, I will never take UA flights anymore, it is just TERRIBLE!"

Could not access bag drop counter, too many others blocking it, had to go back outside to curbside check-in. Then, delayed flight (1.5+ hrs.) no reasons given. [ 2 ] Zero staff at IND to accept prepaid bag (add-on charge) until 2 hours before flight. [ 3 ] DIA - baggage claim delayed over an hour... "Sorry for delay..." no reason given. Barely had time to make reserved, prepaid shuttle to avoid additional 1.5 hr wait on top of 3.5 hrs. of drive time. [ 4 ] No "Air-sickness" bag. According to flight attendant, passengers must have used them for trash. No excuse --- between flight turnover time is for checking / restocking. Maybe if they would splurge and print something like "For Air-Sickness Use" on them, then what happened wouldn't have. Small, white, unmarked bags... looked like the free popcorn mini-bags given at events. [ 5 ] I believe in paying for what I get and getting what I pay for but this guise of no frills to keep fares low only to price gouge later doesn't cut it. $50 extra (round-trip at off-season rates) for a carry-on that I had to check because carry-on fees would have been $60. On-board snacks at airport meal prices. What's next... reservations and prepaid restroom tokens?"

You guys lost my luggage - the delays in all led to a 3.5 hour delay in me seeing my kids, who were staying up late to see me after I was gone for a week. Being inexpensive is laudable only if you provide equivalent service - my impression after this flight is its inexpensive and I got what I paid for...unless there is some overture to win back my business, I'll not fly Fronteir again and will be suggesting my friends and colleagues not either."

Sure the seats don't recline, but you're not really gaining anything with that 1° recline anyways...it just means that the flight attendants don't have to warn you about putting your seat back in the upright position (as if it weren't still upright fully reclined) before landing."
Cons: "Again, I get that Frontier is a "budget" airline and they keep the ticket costs down by removing all the additional, complimentary perks, but the flight attendants were borderline rude and they acted as if someone had chastised them for being too friendly with the customers or something of that nature."

I am a small person, and it doesn't take much for me to be comfortable in a seat. I feel sorry for ANYONE who has to sit in these seats, especially larger sized or those with chronic pain or disability. The arm rests are like daggers, almost no space in the seat pocket, and the tray "table?" You're kidding us with this, right? I will not purchase a ticket for a flight on Frontier that is longer than 3 hours. There is no way my body could take that. Hate the "a-la-carte" business. Give us a complimentary beverage - at least. Come on! I can see making us pay for overhead baggage - you'll squeeze every last penny out of that one, but making people pay to choose a regular seat? I think that's excessive greed."

Cons: "I chose this flight because of cost - and even took a red-eye, which I dislike. I was not aware of the additional costs for the luggage, which did not make the flight that much cheaper - all the airlines I usually use include a personal item and one carry-on as part of the ticket. On top of that, you have to buy everything during flight - would have loved some coffee, but that's extra! The seats did not recline and the padding was not comfortable at all - I was uncomfortable and sore during flight. It isn't worth it, use another airline!"
