Cons: "The TSA agents broke my phone and tried to hide it in a secured package with another of my electronics. I questioned why 1/3 phones were in secured and the others were not. I was told to not open the bag until I reached my destination. Lucky I opened it after I cleared security to find that the face of the phone had been shattered with glass shards sticking out, I bought this to the crews' attention and was told to send an email to a random email for the airlines and that the incident would be investigated later. So basically I was given the brush off. Worst experience I have had while flying."

The airplane chairs were small and no leg room, on a 7 hour flight to Barcelona that was exhausting! Couldn't manage to get some sleep at all. Cons: "Boarding this flight consisted of minimal organization on the crews behalf, the Gate's security machines were off, people scattered everywhere with not enough seats to fit everyone. When entering the gate (with security machines turned off keeping in mind everyone has already passed general airport security and is only trying to enter the gate. Staff would direct passengers towards an attempt at creating a boarding queue. Once passing the gate doors and walking towards the queue directed by staff, it seemed to be a normal occurance to have another staff memeber shout at you and redirect you another way. Getting scolded by gate employees and requested to remove all electronics turn them on and being requested to remove most clothing items at the gate while everyone is watching with security machines off while only selecting a few passengers seems to be a regular occurnace in Doha & with Qatar Airways. People standing all around, no queues were initiated by staff, instead staff would push through passengers to get to the front instead of propretly annoucing the boarding through an intercom. No matter how loud staff was screaming their sounds were drowned out by the passengers which turned boarding a full translatlantic flight into a chaotic scene. Once on the flight I noticed the headphones provided were broken, I politely requested a new pair...from 3 different employees...which took over 20 mins to replaced. Qatar Airways prides itself on quality unfortunately as an economy passenger I have yet to experience any of that other than when it comes to good on flight entertainment."

Then the pilot said that our bags are usually weighed and computerized for even distribution on the plane. That system was also down, so we sat on the runway waiting for that problem to be fixed. When we arrived at Barcelona, I unpacked and discovered a jacket and pants in my luggage were wet. The only place that could have happened was at JfK during their rain storm and the luggage weight issue."

The staff including the supervisor were so un-cooperative and rude. The supervisor snapped at me by saying that I was not doing the airline any favor by flying Lufthansa. At that point I just gave up and paid the totally unjust fee. Took me to a back room to pay the fees, where the credit card machine and even the printer wasn't working. ...... very bad experience EVER !!!"

I just had come off 20hrs of travel. Phone on mute. No e mail. Now they say will deliver this evening - but no time slot so another wasted vacation day waiting for them to get their act together. Why can't they call/text me with a 30 minute window."

They were to come Tuesday morning, Tuesday evening, Wednesday morning and never showed up. He finally had to take a $35.00 cab to airport to get the luggage. NOT a good experience. The Aer Lingus support number just rang and rang, no one picked up for days! My daughter tried the main Aer Lingus connection but they referred us back to the same phone number. NOT good customer service."

Cons: "Since my ticket was with British Airways "Operated" by Aer Lingus, I was not the only one confused about which airport terminal to go to. The taxi driver was confused too. He was not sure he had dropped us at the right place. Even the person at the Information Desk at the airport said it could be unclear for someone "not in the business". Please rectify. Thanks"

Cons: "I was travelling with an injured ankle, had paid for a one way trip last minute because of a BA screw up on my RT ticket, and asked that I be given two seats if possible so I could put my foot up. I was moved to an aisle rather than center, but no empty seat, event though there was one in front, behind my row, and several rows back. Could have easily accommodated my request. My original ticket was MIA/LON/DUB...travelling for funeral, and changed leg from LON/DUB to LON/SNN to travel with my sister...paid extra for the ticket, told them I would not be using my LON/DUB leg. Was told no problem. When I went to re-confirm adn do nline check in on the 24th, my ticket had been marked trip completed...there was not return leg DUB/BARCELONA/MIA...just vanished. Paid 900Euros. Seems there should be a refund coming my way for the unused portion of my ticket. I would like to be contacted by customer service. 954.662.9537"

Cons: "I did not enjoy havin a layover in Dublin! What was supposed to be a 2hr layover to shop and the like was spent almost entirely going through US pre-authorization meanwhile my friend on another airline I'm a definitely over spent all of five minutes and then was able to enjoy her layover city. I will probably never do is stop over in Dublin. I did not like riding Aer Lingus. I did not like the food. The staff was also abrupt"

Cons: "When I landed in Barcelona, the crew did not give me instructions on my transfer to my connecting AA flight. I had no idea I would go through immigration, end up outside the airport and then take a shuttle to an offsite terminal 20 minutes away to go through security and passport checks again. After walking in circles around the terminal and getting bits of information from Barcelona airport employees I figured it out. I can't imagine how a non-Spanish speaker would have found his/her way."

Cons: "Flight was delayed- we left about 45 minutes late but landing in Toronto, it took about 2 hours. Luggage took forever. It took forever to disembark. Customs immigration was a walk through no lineup. Changing flights in Dublin was stressful too - having to line up for passport control when I only had 50 minutes for changing flights. Original flight was delayed, then it was a long walk from one end literally to the other end, then passport control!!!! Although flight was really cheap, I'm n sure I'll use them again. All the flights took forever to disembark, to take off. And the washrooms smelled!!!!"

Pros: "Nice plane, nice crew, the airline with the best cup of tea and it is the only airline with Tayto Crisps."

Cons: "Both flights, outgoing and returning, had the same problem. My family was spread all over the plane. My wife was in the back, I was in the front, and my two kids (ages 2 and 4) were split apart in the middle! Aer Lingus won't allow kids to be checked in online or over the phone so we couldn't address this until we arrived at the airport. At the check in desk, Aer Lingus personnel who are usually very accommodating told us "I'm sorry. It's a full flight. You'll have to talk to the flight crew." As if boarding a an international flight with two toddlers isn't difficult enough, now we had to do it without knowing where are seats were. All I can say is thank God for the accommodating passengers on our flight. The flight attendant was not helpful so I had to ask people myself."

Cons: "The flight was delayed by 4 hours because maintenance needed to change a tire on the airplane. The delay would have been acceptable if it wasn't for the excuses the airline offered. First, they said maintenance couldn't find a spare tire, and when they did rob a tire from another plane, they said the delay was due to FAA paperwork. These reasons, most likely true, suggest American Airlines (British Airways sub-contracted this flight to its partner, American Airlines) was not prepared to handle such an emergency."

Pros: "Everything was on time. The plane was kind of full but the flight attendants really tried to reseat passengers that wanted to change their seats. To me, that's above and beyond, being in the service industry myself. The entertainment was really diverse and offered many options. The food was good and the red wine was excellent. The pilot gave us regular updates about the flight and the weather in Barcelona, our destination. The seats were roomy and comfortable. Restrooms were very clean."
