The booking was through WestJet (found the flight on kayak which kicked me over to West Jet's site) and check in was a pain. Their code did not work for their site or Delta's, I had to FB message them both leaving and returning to ask for the correct one, and the first request took them hours to answer. I'll just book Delta next time and save myself the trouble."

Not true in the least bit. Then when we finally landed in Denver (nearly every person on that flight missed their connecting flights) we were told the system said the delay was "due to weather". Another lie. Then they announced there would be gate agents to meet us when we got off the plane to assist with connecting flights. First gate agent said "I have no information you have to go to gate 56". The person at gate 56 said "I don't open for another 15 minutes so you have to go to gate 39"! The real story? They made us change gates 5 times in Fargo! The gate attendant was using the "F-bomb"! It wasn't aircraft maintenance or the weather. They couldn't get the walkway to work! In the end, we still left from the original gate and had to walk outside on the tarmac to board the plane. Why didn't they just opt for that to begin with and avoid all the missed flights? My measly voucher isn't nearly enough compensation and if United ever expects me to fly with them again I am expecting a full refund (as other passengers received- I witnessed the manager in Denver authorize a full refund for another passenger but only offered me $50)"

The I received an email while I was on the way to the airport saying that the airplane that I was going to fly out on was canceled due to airplane maintenance. While I am happy they didn't fly the plane while needing maintenance, they should have planned ahead and known of the maintenance or had a backup ready to go. Obviously it must have been something they just found, but in the big picture of things. You have to pay an way to much for a flight as it is. They should have to solve their own issues to honor their part of the contract. We (as customers) can't cancel a flight with out penalties. Why shouldn't they have to do the same?"

In a customer based business it is so disheartening that the very person you may have to depend on to survive is not vested in the clientele that keeps her company in business, thereby insuring future paychecks. I'd like to communicate here that it wasn't all the attendants on either flight, but enough that it was obvious to anyone who paid even casual attention. I was flying home to California, so there were two additional flights a few days before the flights home. I never had any of the same flight attendants on any of the flight. As far as my observation of the attendants, as stated above, I think that speaks volumes. I will cite an example that happened on my trip from Iowa to Denver. I need wheelchair assistance, I walk with a cane, but not able to walk any distance. I pack a light carry-on, bring my purse, jacket and cane. I was being wheeled up the passageway in a regular wheelchair, and the man pushing me stated to the on-coming crew he "would be right back to get my suitcase, couldn't take both at the same time", and added " unless one of you could roll it up?". After an embarrassing pause, a female flight attendant said "Let the flight attendant do it. Add this to the list of responsibilities that aren't really my job." I actually twisted around to look at this person, I was so stunned to hear that! She grabbed my rolling carry-on handle and the look spoke columns. I was embarrased. Thank you. Debra K. Forsythe"

Cons: "There was really nothing to complain about. Seat were a little uncomfortable, but when speaking to regular flyers they mentioned how flying is not very comfortable in any airline."

I was supposed to fly on a Thursday, but because I was passing through Denver and a blizzard had closed the airport the DAY BEFORE, Frontier's flight was cancelled on Thursday. First I spend an hour and fifteen minutes on hold before finally giving up and calling back in the middle of the night. Then I waited fifteen minutes to speak to someone, who informed me that the earliest they could get me a flight would be TUESDAY. That is FOUR DAYS from my day of departure. My only options were a refund or a Tuesday flight. I asked to speak to a manager, but the employee refused to transfer me and eventually hung up on me. This was hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had with an airline. I am still fighting for a refund, after I had to purchase a day-of flight with another airline to reach my destination. It required me to fly from a different airport and to a different airport, which was a nightmare for my other travel plans. Needless to say, I will never fly Frontier airlines again, and will never recommend them to anyone."

Cons: "The remodeled interior puts the seats closer together from front to back and don't recline. That also limits the size of the tray table, which is tiny. Even as a tiny, short person, it was uncomfortable. For anyone of normal stature it would be torture. Paying for a "better" seat appears to provide very little if any added benefit, just keeps your party together. There is no entertainment, movies, music, or wifi so bring your battery pack charger. There is only expensive junk food to eat. My only option on my coast to coast flight was a red eye. So you arrived just wiped out. So if you do this to save money, in my overall assessment, it's just not worth it. I'll never do it again."

Pros: "Super low rate - on time flight a day after a massive storm blanketed Denver with a foot of snow. I assume I have to pay for each breath I take on a Frontier flight so it's never a surprise. A la carte is fine with me when a 3,000 mile round trip is $81.- Nice attendant at luggage check-in moved me to a window seat which was appreciated."

Pros: "The crew was great. We flew into some particularly bad weather and the cockpit crew did an excellent job landing the airplane. Some passengers even applauded once we were safely on the ground. The fair was - reasonable. The plane appeared to be new-ish and was pretty clean."
Cons: "A fee for EVERYTHING. I think I knew Frontier charged for everything but forgot when making my last minute reservation to see my ailing father. When it was time to check in on-line, it appeared every seat was either considered a premium seat or was not available. Middle seats and seats near the lav were considered premium. And the fee was either $20 or $35. I elected not to pay for a premium seat and took my chances that I would actually get a seat when I checked in at the counter. I believe they also charge for soda."

Cons: "AWFUL. I arrived at the airport 1 hour and 10 minutes before my flight. I attempted to check in at a kiosk, which failed and I was told to line up to see a clerk. I got in the ticketing/check-in line and was waiting for a while when a clerk asks if anyone was flying to San Diego and that they were in the wrong line. I was redirected to the additional services line, and when I finally saw the clerk, was told that I had missed the 45 minute check-in deadline. They refused to help me look for another flight, and was told my ticket was nonrefundable even though the misdirection was the airline's fault and their lack of communication. They should've posted signs if passengers on a specific flight needed to be in a specific line for check-in. Furthermore, their lack of willingness to rectify the situation was just a poor demonstration of customer service. I will definitely not be flying with Frontier ever again."

Frontier charges you $1.99 with a credit card for a cup of coffee. I flew from DIA to San Diego Dec 23,2015 with a carry on bag. But coming Home from San Diego to DIA Dec 27.2015 my bag grew 2"inches longer and I was forced to pay a extra $45.00. It's was the same carry on bag I took to San Diego. I travel a lot and know many people all over the United States who travel and I would not ever return flying FRONTIER or would I recommend it to anyone else. P.S. I measure my carry one bag before I left Denver. Poor service!!!!!"

Stayed on line for 30 minutes to talk to someone who couldn't rebook me for a week and gave me a number for the airport desk so I wouldn't have to drive there but that number circled back to the one I just called, so I drove to the airport where no one was at the desk for an hour and again couldn't rebook OR give me a refund. Back home then for more calls. Entire trip was cancelled and ruined. Never have been treated like this by reputable airline where I could have been rerouted or offered a next day flight or switch to another airline."

I was flying out of CID, a smaller airport that rarely takes anytime at all to get checked in and go through security. I arrived approximately 35-40 minutes prior to flight departure and found out that I wasn't able to get checked in. The flight was even delayed, and I could have easily gotten through security in time, as there was no line. Had I been clearly told that I would be unable to board the flight if I wasn't checked in 45 minutes prior, I would have. I was one of 4 people there that had the same problem. Please in the future make this more clear with Frontier communications!"

No wifi, no tvs."

Cons: "1) The cost of the carry-on/checked bag. They do not notify you in any way that there are charges for either of these. There is no incentive to bring a carry-on as it is more expensive. The company also doesn't let you know you can get a discounted price if you check your bag online. 2) I wasn't ever sent a 24 hour check in, so I wasn't even offered the deal to check my bag online to get a discount 3) When I tweeted about my disappointment with the hidden baggage fee, I was rudely tweeted back "Correction, it's not that expensive, it's $30 if you check in early" which i was never offered. 4) In my 2 hour flight the attendants didn't even offer drinks until halfway through the flight. 5) I had difficulties making it to the airport an hour and a half before my flight but still made it within an hour. The lady that checked me in told me that I was late, they were going to charge me a fee, and they wouldn't hold the plane for me but i should try and make it there any way. She even wrote "don't hold" on my ticket. I thought i was going to be the last one on the plane the way she scolded me and I ended up being the first of 15 people after me that were running even later than me. Overall, this airline tries to make people feel like they are getting a great discount but after the fees and the rude customer service I am never flying this company again."

I arrived 40 minutes early, plenty of time to get through security and to my gate in this small airport, but I was then informed that I couldn't check in since it was less than 45 minutes before departure. The e-ticket kiosk wouldn't print my ticket, and no one was able to help me. I talked to a number of different personel to no avail. I would gladly have accepted a flight later that night or a partial refund, but Frontier wasn't willing to work with me at all."
