Cons: "The flights were both operated by Delta but booked through WestJet, and the flights themselves were fine. The booking was through WestJet (found the flight on kayak which kicked me over to West Jet's site) and check in was a pain. Their code did not work for their site or Delta's, I had to FB message them both leaving and returning to ask for the correct one, and the first request took them hours to answer. I'll just book Delta next time and save myself the trouble."

Cons: "The lack of space on such a long flight was painful, and there wasn't much opportunity to stretch my legs. I was also seated across from a woman who didn't realize how stupid it was to bring a toddler on a 12 hour flight, and he screamed pretty much the entire time. I couldn't sleep at all and not even headphones drowned it out. That part wasn't really the airline's fault though, and I could see that the flight attendants were asking her several times to get her son to quiet down. I just wish there were regulations on these sorts of situations. Everyone around you suffers when you bring a small child on a very long flight because they will inevitably be bored, cranky and uncomfortable, and because we are confined to our seats, we are forced to suffer through it all. I wish that children under a certain age would not be allowed to board flights over a certain length of time except for special circumstances."

I understand that things happen and illnesses are sometimes sprung upon us but that wasn't the issue. The issue was that there was not a backup in place for an instance like this. I understand the time of night was the main issue but planes are flying 24/7."

The flight attendant, Angel lives up to her name- what an angel! I love her! She was so helpful and attentive and patient. My daughter spilled some juice on her shorts and not only did Angel help me clean up my daughter, she did not hesitate to pick up my daughter’s dirty shorts and neatly packaged it away for me! She went above and beyond her future to provide THE BEST customer service and flight I’ve had in over 20+ years of flying. Thank you, Angel, please continue to excel at exceptional customer service professional!

Cons: "About two hours before my flight, it was canceled after previously making an airplane switch the night before after checking in online. The I received an email while I was on the way to the airport saying that the airplane that I was going to fly out on was canceled due to airplane maintenance. While I am happy they didn't fly the plane while needing maintenance, they should have planned ahead and known of the maintenance or had a backup ready to go. Obviously it must have been something they just found, but in the big picture of things. You have to pay an way to much for a flight as it is. They should have to solve their own issues to honor their part of the contract. We (as customers) can't cancel a flight with out penalties. Why shouldn't they have to do the same?"

The wheel was broke off and all the pockets had been unzipped and it appeared they had been rummaged through. I had to drag my bag through the terminal. I spoke with 3 individuals with United who referred me onto the next and each unwilling as the previous to help. I myself am in customer service and would never treat my customers the way I was treated by the employees representing your Airline. I would go above and beyond to make the sure that the customers experience was a great one in spite of the unfotunate incident so they would return. I have never flown United before, and I will not consider your airline in the future."

Cons: "Disenchanted flight attendants. For whatever reason, it is obvious that there is unhappiness. Not flat affect, just the look of disinterest, a look that tells you I don't care. In a customer based business it is so disheartening that the very person you may have to depend on to survive is not vested in the clientele that keeps her company in business, thereby insuring future paychecks. I'd like to communicate here that it wasn't all the attendants on either flight, but enough that it was obvious to anyone who paid even casual attention. I was flying home to California, so there were two additional flights a few days before the flights home. I never had any of the same flight attendants on any of the flight. As far as my observation of the attendants, as stated above, I think that speaks volumes. I will cite an example that happened on my trip from Iowa to Denver. I need wheelchair assistance, I walk with a cane, but not able to walk any distance. I pack a light carry-on, bring my purse, jacket and cane. I was being wheeled up the passageway in a regular wheelchair, and the man pushing me stated to the on-coming crew he "would be right back to get my suitcase, couldn't take both at the same time", and added " unless one of you could roll it up?". After an embarrassing pause, a female flight attendant said "Let the flight attendant do it. Add this to the list of responsibilities that aren't really my job." I actually twisted around to look at this person, I was so stunned to hear that! She grabbed my rolling carry-on handle and the look spoke columns. I was embarrased. Thank you. Debra K. Forsythe"

Cons: "I have flown with United several times and will be avoiding this airline in the future. After notification that our flight had been delayed by 3 hours, the customer service was awful. The United representatives at the gate told us they could not rebook us nor would they be able to assist us with locating a different connecting flight. We then contacted customer service by phone and were directed to connecting flights. However the connecting flights were at an airport two hours away. After being informed that we would not be able to fly out the next day from the Des Moines airport, we. Had no other choice but to rent a car to drive to the Omaha airport. We had to rent a car because they would not accommodate us by changing our return flights to match where we flying out of. This whole experience has been awful for a trip that has been booked for more than 6 months. I plan to continue to inform the public of this horrendous experience."

Cons: "I was flying out of De Moines, IA to DC with a layover in Chicago. I received an email stating that my flight was changed to 3pm. While the email stated the flight number it didn't state the destinations or the airport. It turns out the email was referring to the layover flight that I had in Chicago. I even called the number provided in the email to verify the change and instead of giving me information on my flights it gave me a status update of the flight at that particular time of the day (Which was the day before when I called and was not something I particularly cared about). This wound up being very bad for me because I slept in and missed my flight. I booked another flight for the next day but a very bad snowstorm hit the east coast and was unable to travel back to DC for 5 more days. I had to get a hotel room in Chicago and spend over $500 in expenses because of this error. United should be more specific when notifying its passengers of any changes by email. This messed up a lot of things for me and I'm very upset with how United handled this"

Even after the gate change all passengers were waiting and there was no update communication for a delay through any medium (app, email, gate, information board etc.) despite the obvious delay in boarding. The gate agents did not seem to care either. Luckily once we are were ready to depart the crew made sure for a quick take off and made up the 30 minutes we lost."

Cons: "Flight crew -- 99% of us have flown before and know what to do when boarding. We all don't need individual attention to put a bag in overhead. All you did was slow the boarding process WAY down by constantly clogging the aisle giving advice how to put a bag in overhead."

I sat next to a very nice BIG person that was in my seat with me....had to keep the armrest up to allow them to fit. I know your bottom line is profit - so shrinking the passenger seat/room when the population as a whole is expanding makes flying overall a not good experience. I am waiting for you all to officially charge us for Cain air seperately."
Pros: "Boarding was painless and quick, flights were on time to destination, even early. My last flight actually made up time after departing late d/t passengers taking forever to deboard. This is a super inexpensive ticket folks, if you pay attention to the fine print it clearly states you pay extra for bags to check or carry, cheaper to pay online before your flight, also clearly spelled out if you look and easy to do."

Pros: "Left 1/27/17 to Colorado. Check in was easy, boarding easy and arrived early in Colorado. Left today at 4:30 from Denver and again easy process and arrived early! Great experience all around!"

When do you ever wait 5 1/2 hours for a meeting and receive no explanation for the delay? Inexcusable. Frontier will always be my very last resort from now on."

Cons: "I left for the airport so I would be there 2 hours before the departure time. When I left for the airport from downtown Seattle, the Seatac website said the flight was delayed 1.5 hours and the Frontier and Denver airport websites said the flight was on time. Had the information on all websites been current, I could have waited longer to leave for the airport and not waste time at the airport waiting for the delayed flight."
