I have had this same pet carrier for over 5 years and have been traveling with it. My pet is only 4 1/2 pounds 5 at its max sonthe carrier I have works perfectly fine. I was told to step out the line....made wait til the very very end til the plane was about to leave to be let on. This was an inconvenience as I was all set to go."

Pros: "On my way back home I noticed that there was ONE seat that was empty in First Class as I boarded the plane. I asked the flight attendant about it and she said that I would have to go back up to the ticket agent to inquire there. So I did, and I was told when I walked back up the ramp to that kiosk that the ticked agent had just Closed The Flight. So, the other lady who was standing right there said that she had to escort a minor on to the flight and that she would accompany me back to the airplane and see if she could help. She did, and when we got back to hand off the minor to the flight crew she then inquired about that seat. It was agreed that the seat was going to be vacant, and since I am a 6' 1", 250 pound man, they all thought it would be a nice thing to allow me to sit in that first class seat at no extra charge! Wow!! What a difference that made on the 4 hour flight! Thank You Alaska Airlines for helping me out and hooking me up! I will remember that when I am booking my next trip!!"

Cons: "The plane had to make an emergency landing in Honolulu because 2 of the 4 navigation systems were not operating correctly. We had 2 wait in Honolulu approx. 6hrs to catch a flight to Seattle. They gave me a $12 voucher for food but my dinner (only dinning in the terminal) cost me $20. Was forced to take an additional day of leave & had to make arrangements for my pets. Was only given (3) $600 vouchers for my 3 tickets."

Most of the flight crew was kind and polite, minus one woman who seemed to hate her job and the airline. I was pleased that the flight wasn't canceled as many others into PDX had been that day due to an ice storm. Felt safe even with turbulence and threat of a slippery landing."
Cons: "One crew member, an older woman, seemed really bitter. She openly expressed frustration with Alaska in front of passengers on multiple occasions and was very rude and brusque with us customers. She made me feel like a nuisance for even just being on the flight. Otherwise the seats were just so small and uncomfortable. It was a long flight to feel smushed and have a sore tailbone from the total lack of padding."

Cons: "The only snack option was pretzels, take off was delayed on both departure and the connecting flights. The seats were OK for comfort, but the plane was HOT while sitting on the tarmac during boarding and waiting and waiting to take off."

WHY would that not be ready when it was time?!) so we left 30 minutes late, didn’t make up any lost time at all in the air and we ended up missing our connecting flight because of it all."

Pros: "The plane was 2 hours late and I could not get home. Missed the connection to Greenville at 11:38. They told me there were no hotels in Atlanta and I would have to stay in the airport and then take the 8:55 am fight to Greenville. That took an hour in line and there was no help."
Cons: "The pilot was awesome. He flew as fast as he could to help anyone make their connection but it didn’t help. But I appreciate him trying. Just frustrated that being military I didn’t get to board earlier or that they didn’t help me find a way home"

Cons: "My one complaint is the bathroom layout of the A320. Two tiny closet bathrooms in the back for all of coach and a much larger one much larger one first class (which is like 5 rows with a mesh curtain for separation). The coach bathrooms are so small a normal person can barely get in and turn around to close the door. I question whether a larger person would be able to actually use them. I also saw the flight attendant actively turn away coach passengers trying to use the first class bathroom when it was open (not standing in the aisle or anything annoying like that). That's ridiculous to have 2 tiny bathrooms for all of coach and also to make people walk all the way to the back of the plane when you are seated much closer to the first class bathroom."

Cons: "Turbulence was intense and scary. We didn’t get our drink service because it was unsafe for the flight attendant to walk the isle. The leg room seemed a lot smaller than expected."

Pros: "All the staff are sincere in serving. It must be a direct result of the great management at the top. If the employees were unhappy and rude that also would be a direct reflection of the management. I use the same flight often and let the staff know I appreciate them."

Cons: "lack of any entertainment options whatsoever (not necessary but always a nice-to-have). More importantly, the fact that I checked-in with seat 14 and ended-up, seemingly randomly, in seat 28 (the back of the plane) when I had SPECIFICALLY selected a seat in the FRONT section of the plane. That was particularly annoying, especially since the optics of the situation were such that I used miles to purchase the flight and got "screwed-over" with respect to my seat selection as if my ticket held less weight than other passengers..."

It was never updated to let me know where it was until after I landed in BHM. The app indicated that my bag was on another flight"
