First international flight where the meals were not to my taste.
Overall, my experience with EVA Air was mixed. The highlight was that the airline clearly tried to provide a premium dining experience by offering the Michelin-starred Kanpai Classic beef yakiniku rice. However, in the limited space of an economy-class cabin, this meal felt overly oily and not very practical to eat. The sauce and grease made it easy to get one’s hands or tray table dirty, and after the meal many passengers may need to go to the lavatory simply to wash their hands. While the food itself may be high quality, the presentation and practicality did not seem well suited to an in-flight environment. Another disappointing part was the paid Wi-Fi service. I paid for the internet package, but the service did not work properly. What made the experience more frustrating was that passengers then had to spend additional time requesting a refund, and the refund process itself was slow and inconvenient. For an international airline, I think a malfunctioning paid service should be handled more efficiently. As for the seat, I feel EVA Air’s economy-class seats may be more comfortable for Asian passengers or people with smaller body frames, but they may not be as comfortable for taller or larger Western passengers on long-haul flights. The overall cabin environment also varied during the flight. Some passengers were not very mindful of noise, cleanliness, or shared cabin etiquette, which affected the comfort of the journey. I believe clearer reminders from the airline regarding cabin manners and hygiene could help improve the overall passenger experience. In short, EVA Air has some strong points, especially in trying to offer a premium Taiwanese-style service, but there are also areas that need improvement: more practical in-flight meals, a more reliable paid Wi-Fi system, faster refund handling, and better cabin management during long-haul flights.

Crew was good. Sometimes food was eh. The spaghetti is gross for me. First time i got food, they didn’t provide utensils so i ate with my hands. I was hungry. They gave it to me 20 mins later when a crew member came by. I would fly with them again. Nobody is perfect
Eva air was fine - Trip.com via KAYAK sold my family access to a “VIP” lounge fo a layover in Taipei… i’m please look at my pictures. It was a scam, Trip.com knows it and they are perpetrating a fraud through your web site.
What could have been better, was we were delayed from takeoff for two hours. Initially we were informed that we were delayed for refueling. Then we taxied out on the tarmac, then just waited there for a long time, with no explanation of the delay. Were we just waiting on takeoff clearance or was there some other reason for the delay? The pilot, nor none of the crew informed us passengers. That was not good customer service. That needs to be improved, whenever a delay, inform the passengers for the reason.
This flight was long and I am so thankful I had a seat in the back of the plane. As I usually must get up and stretch every hour . The crew were probably the most friendly I have flown with. Thanks and I will book again with Eva air. Food was ok too.
Sub sandwhich for a snack through mid flight and giving a bottle water was a good idea
Overall great experience. All four members of my family were seated together without paying extra to reserve seats. Everything was on time. Food was great and healthy. Media entertainment was good. Rock music could be added as a listening choice. No issue with baggages. Flight attendants were friendly and helpful. I would recommend EVA to friends and family.
t and I Flight crew did excellent job taking care of us and feeding us and staying professional. The boarding was delayed by an hour and then extra security measures were taken. No real explanation except for they said it was more of a maintenance dey
Seat bottoms were not good, hard to sit so long. Food this time was bad. Crew were absolutely excellent. Plane was good and clean. 30kg checked bag weight limit is very convenient. Price is very good but seems to be rising lately. I'd would like a value plan (check bag and seat selection) but without meal. Is also like better upgrade options, once I purchased my tickets there was no option until boarding gate or after take off, but price of upgrade was still high.
Wifi never really worked. Flight attendants were generally fine except when they were not very helpful when my wife accidentally spilled a soda (they chastised her to apologize to the people sitting behind when it was dark and we couldn't see anything and they brought one tiny napkin to help clean it up). Seats were uncomfortable for all four of us. Otherwise a typical flight.
Easy to board and fly, no frills. Yummy ramen on board.
Couple of the crew members were really nice and the rest are really rude and didn't help when we needed help, food was not worth it at all and most importantly there's no even entertainment system other than a very interruptive and slow internet and some movies.

Het is BYOD voor het amusement tijdens de vlucht en dit werkte uitstekend. Geen trage wifi, helemaal niet. Alles kost geld, zelfs een flesje water. Misschien op langere vluchten wel gratis water, thee, koffie. Maar daarentegen mag je na de security je lege drinkflessen gewoon vullen en mee aan boord nemen
Clean and comfortable cabin. Friendly on board service. No vegetarian food options and movie options were very limited. Internet was very slow

Never again on Zipair. People please spend a little extra to fly on better airlines. After all, it’s your vacation! No screen TV, internet sucks. You can’t change or modify anything after purchasing your tickets, Our friends tried to change from paying for carryon to checking in bags. No no no, you’d have to pay for whatever the check in bags cost. Myself, change my mind and continue to travel to other destinations after Japan. The only refund they were going to paying me back was $67.00 tax? So I’ve decided to just let my family use the extra seats and take my carry on back with them. At Narita airport, they’re not allowed my husband to my carry on back with them although I’ve already paid for. He end up have to paid $50.00 to check in that bag? You tell me, do you want to travel with Zipair? Hell no!
The average age of the flight crew had to be 58. With that said I just felt the flight crew was old and grumpy during meal service. The one male flight attendant was annoyed that Dr. pepper was the popular drink of choice during dinner service. He had to bend down multiple times and sort through popular sodas to get the Dr. Pepper. I overheard he complained under his breath. Another flight had no clue what they are serving for breakfast. She said we had American waffles and Japanese Cold soba noodles with dumplings. It turn out to be hot noodles with shu-mai. It the cold affected my choice.
Flight was good, little delayed because of busy plane traffic
The plane was very creaky and lots of ringing. Plane was dirty and dingy. I couldn't hear the captain's announcements from the flight deck. Not sure if it was the captain or the audio equipment, but good thing there wasn't an emergency where we needed clear instructions. The overhead compartments were clearly full, but the flight crew allowed people to stand in the back with their carry on luggage. Then after everyone boarded, they had to go to the front to gate check their luggage because there was no room for their bags and then they returned to their seats...such a waste of time when clearly the overhead compartments were full when they originally boarded.
Very poor food. Took more than 90 minutes for baggage to arrive at DFW
I booked an aisle seat and was given a middle. At 6'4" 230lbs, it is not ideal to fly in the middle row for myself and passengers.
Awful. We had an 8 hour mechanical delay- no vouchers and no kind/courtesy/professional representatives in the entire airport. Not only was it a terrible experience for both my 7 year old and myself, I still have not heard back from American about how they’re going to correct it- I’ve sent 2 or 3 emails about our experience- which was just awful. Not to mention according to national traveling laws, we should be reimbursed… but of course they’re not responding.
The food has never improved. It will never improve. But when I'm boarding a flight in priority boarding and I've spent 10 hours inside the security area of the airport and I get "randomly" selected for additional screening as I board the plane when the flight has already been delayed, and I work as a military contractor that has been issued visas direct from JMOD, I find it ridiculous. I would never recommend anyone to use AA on international flights. JAL is a better airline with older planes. The flight attendants on international hauls on American also have a chip on their shoulder and really dont deliver the same level of service code share partners do.
Overall it was good but not great. The aircraft was an old and seats didn’t recline in business class unless you kept playing around with it.
The plane was subbed for another last minute, the gate was changed last minute. Could live with that but we boarded and there was a delay which totaled an hour in the end. There was a technical issue which meant wheels needed to remain out for ten mins after take off. My USB phone charger was broken as was the headphone jack which meant I could t enjoy the IFE and could use my phone after a few hours. Even the map function on the plane failed to work after a few hours.
The flight was delayed and we were told the airplane is on its way to the gate from the hangar. We were told this for 2 hours and the flight was continually delayed in ~30 minute increments. Then we ended up having a new airplane. The issue wasn’t clearly communicated and it left everyone feeling confused about when we would actually be leaving. Whenever they communicated a new boarding time it felt arbitrary and random. The boarding process was a mess and disorganized, which made it last longer than necessary. Landing was rough. Seats were uncomfortable.
