Pros: "Short, sweet, uneventful"
Read more about United Airlines
Pros: "Short, sweet, uneventful"
Pros: "United does it better than low-cost carriers"
Cons: "Not worth the additional cost over low-cost carriers"
Pros: "It was a good flight- friendly staff and crew."
Pros: "Great crew"
Pros: "Ok."
Cons: "Less time with seatbelt sign on."
Pros: "Crew was efficient and personable."
Cons: "Two and a half hour delay leaving EWR because aircraft was late from prior destination. UAL said FAA limited flights coming in due to weather. Although scattered light rain, no seemingly unusual weather at EWR. No special reward once on the flight to make up for that delay (I.e. still charged for snacks and alcoholic drinks). Delay was very frustrating. Also, not a fan of selections on United WiFi entertainment - very limited."
Cons: "pretzels and drinks only provided. Not too friendly stewardess, eating utensils were not available to assist customer with brought in meal. Luggage did not make it to destination with passenger... it arrived 2 hours later in the following United flight."
Cons: "The plane was hot. The pilot forced a landing quickly to be on time, instead of taking his time through rough winds. The plane was very turbulent and the landing was extremely rough. I actually pulled out the "puke bag" and almost needed it."
Pros: "Quick and uneventful flight."
Cons: "My reading light didn't work."
Pros: "Everything went well"
Cons: "I loved everything"
Pros: "I was able to change my seat since mine was all the way in the back. very happy about that."
Cons: "Super uncomfortable seats"
Pros: "Boarding was easy crew was pleasant. Shouldn't have to pay extra for tv, ticket prices are high enough as it is!!"
Cons: "No leg room which isn't good for circulation on a 4 hr flight!"
Pros: "Very nice employees. The trip was good. Unfortunately, the plane was delayed for a fueling off load for 45 minutes but it all worked out just fine."
Cons: "NONE"
Pros: "Besides being tired and walking what felt like 3 miles to new gate I have not issues to report."
Cons: "I chose to fly Southwest on the way back and for less money I received better service. If you find a reasonably priced flight you don't have to worry about paying extra for baggage or stomach during the flight. On the flight home, I realized that they have bigger seats, your bags ( 1 personal, 1 carry-on, and 2 checked bags) are "free" and they give you a little snack to hold you for maybe and hour. Overall I prefer Southwest because of all the benefits you get while flying with them but it doesn't mean I will never fly United again."
Pros: "The crew on this flight looked miserable."
Pros: "United terminal in Houston is very nice"
Cons: "Narrow, uncomfortable seats."
Cons: "I was informed at check in that I could not bring a carry on bag. Therefore, I had to pay to check my bag. However, all other passengers on the plane brought carry on bags. Then, upon arrival in New Orleans, my bag failed to arrive. My bag was still in Chicago."
Pros: "Pilot communicated everything"
Cons: "Late takeoff"
Cons: "Very uncomfortable seating!"
Pros: "The crew was very nice."
Cons: "My group got separated, as well as a few other groups I saw. There was no effort made by the airport staff to accommodate any of us."
Cons: "Issues with crew delayed the flight. I was further delayed getting to my destination because they forced me to check my bag."
Cons: "Being wedged in the middle seat after two overseas flights and seeing stand-by passengers in isle and window seats in rows ahead of mine... no, I did not appreciate that. In other words, UA is accomodating stand-by passengers before accomodating customers who have purchased tickets. Try sitting in a middle seat after two overseas flights... especially as a tall person with no knee space and a super-uncomfortable seat with the headcushion area reaching only your neck. Those seats were clearly made for folks under 5'8"-5'9"."
Pros: "On time. Comfortable"
Cons: "After I booked my round trip flight to Denver from New Orleans I discovered that my mom had surgery to remove her breast cancer on the day I was originally supposed to depart. I called to see if there was anything I could do to change my flight to the next day and received no help what so ever. They said it would cost $200 just from the start. I couldn't afford that, so I just bought a cheaper one way ticket for the next day, not knowing that if I didn't catch my first flight that my return flight would also be cancelled. When I called to see if I still had my return flight I was told no and one again told it would cost $200 to do anything about it. So in the end, I'm stuck in Denver and bought a round trip ticket for absolutely no reason."
Cons: "I have arthritis (walk with a cane) and didn't have enough leg room....hated being in a middle seat....and due to that could not stand in flight to stretch legs. Also the crew on the way to New York made sure I had a wheelchair to cross the airport in Chicago and not so in New Orleans...had to make a visit to the emergency room after getting home and be off work for 5 days due to the condition of my leg after the walk across the airport."
Pros: "Nice new comfortable seats"
Pros: "Wonderful crew, great plane ride."
Pros: "Excellent service!"
Cons: "The wi fi should be free of charge"
Cons: "The seats were too small no leg room"
Pros: "Crew was excellent. Beyond making sure we were comfortable."
Cons: "No usb hookup. No food"
Pros: "On time and direct"
Cons: "Same comment as above"
Pros: "The flight crew was nice and there was no problem with the actual flight. The issue was with the United employees at the check in area."
Cons: "The employees at IAD were grumpy and put off by helping us passengers. The kiosk lines were full so after having waited for a while I went to the actual counter since there we no people in line and the agent chased em back to the kiosk. I felt that that was a very poor reflect of customer service. I expect more from United."
Pros: "The United Airline staff was very helpful. Our evening flight from another airline was cancelled and we booked the next available United flight departing early the following morning. Recommendations from the staff made our unplanned stay much more comfortable. It was greatly appreciated."
Pros: "Smooth flight, nice staff, on time"
Cons: "Not enough leg room!!! The new planes cram us in even tighter. Unless you pay more, you suffer. Why should we have to pay more just because we are tall??!! Pocket for book etc is way too small."
Pros: "Left promptly on schedule and arrived on time."
Cons: "Crew cordial but not friendly. Refreshments: I asked for water...flight attendant never asked if I wanted ice and she gave me room temperature water........"
Pros: "Very smooth flight and good seat"
Cons: "I had to be in New Orleans at 12:00am so I could arrive home for an important interview on Monday morning.. My trip was cancelled and I had no knowledge of this until my arrival to the airport.. I had to pay an additional 75.00 to go back to Racine then another 75.00 to head back the next morning. When i arrived to New Orleans I was charged an additional 30.00 dollars for parking!"
Cons: "Still not in New Orleans"
Pros: "Not much to like"
Cons: "Supervisors and staff rude in Houston not accommodatING at all Horrible overall exoeriance with United"
Pros: "The flight was very short. Loved it"
Cons: "My Ears hurt after the flight was over."
Pros: "Same as above,"
Cons: "Same as above, but no snack was offered, and there was only expansive food for purchase"
Pros: "Crew was polite and responsive."
Cons: "Flight was extremely delayed because of missing flight crew and/or pilot. Boarding announcements were very hard to follow because of overlapping PA systems at the gate. We sat at the gate for a long time before take off, which was uncomfortable because the seats are cramped for anyone above average height and I could not put my seat back or put my headrest up."
Pros: "We had excellent service on the plane and the new snacks that are handed out was a welcomed addition."
Cons: "TSA held a planned work action to have workers call in sick and my flight left 30 minutes late as at departure time we were missing over 20 passengers who hadn't gotten through TSA yet."
Cons: "My direct flight to New Orleans was canelled forcing me to arrive five hours late for my ride from the airport."
Pros: "On time!"
Cons: "No complaints"
Pros: "The flight attendants."
