We were informed that the plane "ran out of overhead bin space" halfway through boarding, and the rest of the passengers not yet boarded would have to check their bags, even if there were carry-on size. There were at least a few of us that were going overseas, with a good chance that checked luggage would get lost in multiple plane transitions. It was very frustrating to board the plane and realize that there were several bins completely empty and plenty of space for at least several suitcases. The staff just shrugged their shoulders and said "there's nothing we can do about it." As predicted, my husband and I arrived in Edinburgh without luggage and did not recover our bags for 3 days. Had we been allowed to bring our carry on luggage, this situation could have been avoided, as the remainder of our flights had plenty of bin space.

Because of the flight cancelation I missed two days of work and because of the failure to ticket my following flight I almost missed a full week of work. The BA booking person seemed content that there was no way I could make it to Saudi prior to the end of the week. Fortunately, the AA agent was able to find a way for me to continue my trip on a later flight."

Next she started boarding the plain and I had 3 people ask if I needed to be pushed down and they would help. She barked at us that someone was coming. Once inside I asked for help getting my plug into the outlet because I wasn't able to make it fit. The crew member told me to keep trying. Because I never could get it in, my computer and phone wouldn't work. So I figured I would purchase one of the entertaining units but none was offered. It made for a very long flight. When leaving the plane, the other crew members were very helpful and even the wheel chair attending me was a delight. I was on flight 1977 from Houston to Seattle on November 7th. I usually fly twice a month for business. After my ordeal, I will use other airlines."

Cons: "Being stuck for nearly an hour sweating on a plane with no AC while mechanics were trouble shooting, only to find out that we had to exit the plane, and that it could not fly. Passengers had no idea what to do - whether another plane would be sent for us, whether United would reimburse our ticket if we arranged another flight on our own, etc. We were left to fend for ourselves. I had a wedding to get to with many pre-wedding events, starting this evening. So, I looked for another flight, found one, booked it, and went to United customer service to request reimbursement for my ticket. I was told that United had just learned that another plane was coming for us and would arrive in 30 minutes, at 8:10. (My original flight had been at 6:35). The other flight I had booked was at 10:30 pm. So, United customer service changed canceled my new booking and put me back to my original flight, now arriving at 8:10 and boarding at 8:50. The plane did arrive, but we did not board until 10:50 pm. My flight left at 11:02 pm. Bottom line is that my flight was delayed 4.5 hours. I missed an important event that I was supposed to host. I missed my only opportunity to see a dear friend (and guest of honor) - this is someone I have not seen in person for ten years and was the guest of honor at tonight's celebration that I was supposed to host and missed. Furthermire, I could not carry on a bag that I have carried on for years, and that would have easiky fit. Having to check my bag left me without my phone charger. Of course, the fact that we were 4.5 hours delayed meant that I ran out of power shortly into our long flight from Washington. to Seattle. And the food was awful - stale nuts, . ;, b:;"

Cons: "The boarding process was chaotic. Overhead bins were full, but flight attendants were not available to help people struggling to find a place for their baggage. They should've offered to gate check baggage"

Cons: "Delayed to start and it took a while for all the bags to be loaded. Once we arrived it took over an hour from the time we touched down to when our bags arrived at the baggage claim. Ended up finally leaving the airport an hour and a half after the time I was originally supposed to arrive."

Cons: "By the time you pay for your luggage it’s the same price as another airline with comfortable seats more amenities, an actual gate to board the plane vs stairs on the runway,it wasn’t in the main terminal and there weren’t many options for food, the terminal was to small for the amount of people and the plane was delayed coming and going in both directions 6 days apart."

Cons: "Either Frontier or the third party I purchased my ticket through on Kayak (Kiwi.com) sold me a ticket as if it were a complete flight from point A to B with a layover in between. In reality however, it was two totally separate flights which required me to go to the Frontier ticketing counter upon my arrival at my layover destination, get a ticket printed for my second flight, pay to recheck my bag a second time ($45 x2 = $90 which was total BS), go through security again (also BS) only to walk back clear to the other side of the airport where I just was. To top it all off, our flight took off late and upon arrival we didn't even have a jet bridge available. So, all of the passengers had to get off on the tarmac and wait to be bussed from wherever we were all the way to the main terminal. Then they switched the baggage claim caracul on us. What a mess. This will probably be the last time I buy a ticket on Kayak, Kiwi and possibly even Frontier."

I understand that circumstances occur beyond the airlines control, but this has been routinely occurring on my trips with Frontier. Absent compelling reasons, I will not be flying with them again."

There was one single gate agent responsible for dealing with every angry passenger. I had to rebook on a different airline for the next day, and it cost me $250 more. This was very painful, especially during the holidays."

Cons: "I was flying to Seattle with my 8-year old son and my boyfriend. Because Frontier charges so much for bags, we packed all of our stuff into one bag. My bag ended up in San Diego instead of Seattle. I was told they'd refund my baggage fee and I've yet to see the money. We only had ONE day in Seattle before we were going to drive back to Denver. Our one day in Seattle was ruined because of my bag getting on the wrong flight. We were told the bag would be on the next flight to Seattle, which would be 10am the next day. I was told they would call me when the bag arrived. 11am came and went and I spent 20 minutes on hold just trying to speak to an actual person to find out where my bag was. Finally got ahold of someone and they couldn't locate my bag. We decided to go about our day, but I had to spend $100 on jackets and clothing and toiletries for my son, boyfriend, and me. Around 5pm I called again, and also had to wait another 30 minutes to talk to someone. They told me my bag had just arrived, and sorry it didn't make the earlier flight. Now the Frontier counter was closed and they'd only open from 9pm-11pm. Had to make a 30 minute drive to the airport at 9:30pm to retrieve my bag. All around it was a terrible experience and our one day in Seattle was ruined by the bag getting on the wrong flight. Extremely disappointed in how they handled the situation. I don't care how cheap Frontier flights are, I will not be flying them again."

Announced a maintenance problem, due to bird strike, which itself is understandable and I certainly wouldn't want to have that rushed, but at one point they said it would only be another 10 min. Ended up being something like a 5hour delay. They wouldn't just tell us it was a significant delay, but instead kept announcing "any minute now." Offered food vouchers eventually, but many of the few places we could use it were closed by then. Stranded in the airport."

Cons: "The flight was over an hour delayed on the ground and then my luggage is still completely lost. The customer service has been absolutely terrible. I am in a city in which I do not live, with absolutely no clothes, toiletries, shoes etc and I have been on hold waiting to talk to someone about my missing bag for over 45 minutes. Frontier has absolutely no idea where my bag is, it is not in the place that I took off from and definitely not at my destination. This has been an absolute nightmare in which they offer you pathetic $50 to make up for the over $3500 I have in missing belongings."

Cons: "I haven't flown frontier for about 7 years. I used to love the airline but didn't realize they had changed their model. I was so surprised we had to pay for EVERYTHING even a carry on bag. The seats were uncomfortable and didn't recline. There wasn't a real tray table to do work, you can't get any sort of beverage without paying. I felt nickeled and dimed the entire time. The crew were not very friendly. Also, I was given a $10 voucher by frontier and I asked 3 different employees how to use the voucher and no one knew. Additionally, the frontier website and check in process is not intuitive and very lengthy and frustrating. I would gladly pay more to fly ANY other airline but frontier in the future."

Cons: "The added fees are ridiculous. First we are charged for our seats upon check in. Ugh. Then, we were able to bring our small roller luggage at no extra charge from Seattle to Chicago. However, in Chicago, we were told to pay $60 (PER BAG!!!) to bring them with us, which I think is exploitation because looking back, i wonder if they could have gone underneath in storage at no charge. Also, the inconsistency of fees was VERY frustrating. Plus, $60 for a bag is absurd, what a completely ridiculous number. The seats were incredibly uncomfortable. This is the most economy airline I've ever flown, and it was horrendous. I'm surprised these even passed code, the tops felt like metal bars and barely any padding. I felt unsafe in the case there were to be an emergency. I will never fly Frontier again, and I will always warn people about flying this carrier. Nothing good to say."

Plane was delayed getting to gate and/or they brought a "new" plane in - and had to wait to get it "cleaned up" since the agent at the desk was the only one on duty, she said. Plane left late, sat on taxiway and returned with a "sensor warning" that needed looked at. Left way late in the end."

I was so stunned by her sharp attitude that even the girl sitting at the row across from me felt bad and asked for a menu from someone in her row just to give it to me. At that point I didn't even want to look at the menu and I didn't order anything. I probably would have otherwise. I don't know why this particular stewardess acted like that towards me as I had not interacted with her previously nor was I rude at all. All I said was "can I please see a menu? I don't have one." This was my first time flying with Frontier and I will probably not fly with them again. I will stick with United and Delta. I have never been treated like that on an airline before."
