First off they charged me extra for my luggage so instead of trying to work with me they tripled the price at the gate.

I liked the A300 used is was in very nice condition and the leg room was reasonable. The cabin crew was above average. The pilots were smooth on take off and landing.
The departure gate announcements in English were hard to understand. The landing jetway was used to disembark, but then we had to use stairs to the tarmac and board a bus to get from the domestic terminal (we were an international flight) to the international terminal. Because of this many passengers, especially the elderly, were unprepared for this situation and their carry on luggage.
Bag fees not clear and totally unreasonable, no way to check in or check bags online unless you register with their nosy BIG Points. Late by 1.5 hours! Can't get ANYTHING to eat or drink without paying in local currency cash, not even water. Seats squished together and really uncomfortable. Baggage takes a long time to come out. Poor wayfinding at Kuala Lumpur Airport.
My laguages did not arrived and delay on both doigt. I missed my connexion to Mumbay from Nairobi on 3rd. Therefore, I missed my unchageablble flight to my final destination. I had to buy last minute ticket for Bangkok-Koh Samui which was very pricy!
Any compensation so I'm feeling very unhappy!

The food was terrible. I've flown on a lot of US-Asia carriers, and the options and quality of the meals on Eva are pretty sad.
There are only ever two options for main courses; an Asian and Western one. One meal I had the fish was very tough, practically fossilized. The overall taste and look for all the meals were of substandard budget frozen meals you'd get at a 7-11.
The side dishes are perfunctory, mostly inedible (usually some "charcuterie" of cheap, over-salted meat/fish on an afterthought of a salad, plus some weird gelatin mold with corn or whatever random cheap ingredient).
The special order meals I had for my young children were pretty acceptable.
The staff were very courteous right from the Checking-in point.
The cabin crew was not taking that much care and as the ground staff. No snacks or drinks are served till upto 4 hour of the flight commencement. Food was served just two hours before landing in Hongkong. My order for meals was AVML. Bengaluru is a good place to pick up good, nutritious, and tasty Vegetarian food. But what was offerred was absolutely mediocre.
Leg space was barest minimum and not comfortable for a person with normal legs and height.
Unusual traffic jam in Jakarta caused me and friend to miss our flight. When booking next avail flight we were ticks regardless of why we were late, zero dollars would be allowed. Note flight was scheduled for 8 PM. We left our hotel at 1600hrs for a 20 mile ride to airport- should have been plenty of travel time!
Excellent budget airline! Yes, amenities are cut out, there is little leg room, and it's cheaper to pay for your luggage when purchasing your flight ticket, but this is the point of a budget airline this keeps your flight ticket prices low. Adding on seat choices was only a few dollars more and included a delicious meal. You can purchase food and drinks/water on board. Tip: fill up a water bottle or purchase water in airport gate area before boarding plane to save money. Crew is very friendly and helpful. Flight offered purchase of Singapore SIM card with so many GBs for a great price - $15SGD.
Horrible, tv not working. I asked for no vegan and they forgot to bring my food. After I mentioned, they finally brought and was vegan! Plane very unconfortable and old. Totally different than the connection place that was way less time on air.
Very attentive to handicapped passengers. Which is me. Yhe flight is short yet they served a light lunch we seemed like a waste to. I had a coke. The plane was clean I love the hostess uniforms. Beautiful and very feminine. Refreshing in today's world

Did not have food so can't commen. This airline reminds me of Cathay pacific I really liked it. I have down Vietnam airlines several times Good English and on time. They know how to deal with people in wheelchair. I will fly every time I can
The Air France business lounge that Vietnam Airlines use in CDG Airport was excellent. Lots of space a good selection of food. The airline staff where all wonderful and food on the plane was delicious. I like the sleeping pods. Very private and comfortable.
