Total delay was over 4 hours, all to be blamed on their ineptitude. Seems like the norm for airlines these days but this was blatant mismanagement."

When I called to get my flight details I was informed that I was to fly out on a completely different day instead. After explaining that there was no chance of that happening, the call center rep was happy to help. The flight was now an American Airlines flight booked through Alaska. About 3 days before our flight we both received calls from American saying that they did not have our passenger information. Apparently Alaska just didn't transfer that over. We also now had two confirmation codes as the returning and connecting flights were still with Alaska. Once we got to the airport on the day of I was able to print my American Airlines boarding pass, however I could not print my Alaska boarding pass on neither American nor Alaska's kiosks. It was a redeye flight as well so there was no staff at the check in counters yet. We ultimately did get to our destination, but it was such a completely unnecessary headache to get there."

Well turns out they make you jump through so many hoops that your travel insurance fee is useless. I sent a letter to Allianz (the company that handles the travel insurance) and blasted them for their insensitivity in a difficult time. Going forward, I will not be purchasing travel insurance in the future. It may sound irrational but if you think about it, travel insurance is the tax on gullible people. You hear travel insurance and one assumes that if you spend the extra money on the insurance and something comes up, you can at least get much of your money back. Don't count on it! It's a 1/1000 chance they will do the right thing so the odds are not in people's favor. If you want to be smart, use the money you would have spent on travel insurance on some pre flight cocktails at the airport bar. Air travel is hellish enough without scams like Allianz!"

BA should show consideration for real passengers not some sort of statistical average. I am 6'4" and sitting in your plane's cabin inflicts hours of body pain. The space given is sufficient for children and teenagers. Also sitting in the hot cabin for extended amount of time is extremely uncomfortable. Why there is no cooling and proper air ventilation right from the beginning?"

I was not compensated for any of this. My return flight from Fargo to St. Louis was also Delayed. Both from Fargo and from Chicago. I have never experienced such poor scheduling from an airline or as many delays or cancelled flights in just a few day period."

Cons: "Arrived in SFO late due to delay from SBP on flight 5022. Rushed to the gate for flight 5992 which was scheduled to board at 2:00 and depart at 2:25. Arrived at the gate at 2:12 with 4 other passengers, 3 of which came from flight 5022. Found the door to the jetway closed and no airline employee to be seen. One fellow passenger ran to a neighboring gate to ask an employee for help and was told they could not help us. Another passenger called united customer service and was put on hold. At 2:23 the united employee emerged from the jetway and told us that we had gotten there too late. When we told the employee that all 5 passengers had been waiting at the gate for ever 10 minutes, the employee argued, insisted that we were lying. This was not only extremely unprofessional but also added insult to injury after we had missed this flight due to fault 100% on united's shoulders and none of our own. I am completely baffled how an employee could not wait just a few minutes when you have 5 passengers rushing in late. The employee could have looked in the system and seen that we were already on the ground and coming from a near by gate. I was rebooked on flight 1889 at a later time. After boarding 1889 a maintenance issue was detected requiring all passengers to deplane. It is beyond me why this issue was not discovered until after the flight had been boarded, when at that time the plane had been sitting at the gate for over two hours. After being delayed over an hour we were on our way to Austin. Ultimately I arrived in Austin 5 hours after my original arrival time due to the incompetence of united airlines. I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism and compassion by united employees throughout the ordeal."

The flight attendant said she'd try to reset the monitor and then never came back the rest of the flight. I also was not compensated for agreeing to take another flight than the one I booked, paid for and successfully checked in for. I also got into Austin later than I wanted with this new flight I was forced to take. Overall this experience was a terrible one unfortunately."

Of course our gate was furthest from baggage claim, & someone's has to be. Nevertheless, it's a terrible layout, w/ pedestrians pushing through boarding queues and where others are lined-up to buy food."

Still not the worst price, but it was very scummy that this wasn't just charged upfront. Seats are uncomfortable, which led to many people getting up despite the seatbelt sign being on."

No help was offered other than rebooking on a flight that didn’t get me to my destination until the next day and included an overnight stay at a hub airport with no hotel voucher. When told that was unacceptable I was handed a piece of paper listing two “Options” from Frontier. Both options involved going to a website and filling out forms. One for cancellation and $500 in travel vouchers which, after filling out the form and submitting returned with a message that the website was closed. Option 2 was to try to rebook which led to a dead end. I finally called Frontier directly and spent over 45 minutes getting everything straightened out. Now I have vouchers that have to be used by January 1, 2019."

I have now missed my best friends rehearsal dinner for her wedding due to flight delays and lack of communication. “low fare” completely the opposite. My flight ended up costing me more than a United Pium Economy Farr which actually got in on time. When I first boarded after my delay I found a do not occult sign on my seat. The flight attendants noted quickly hat yes that was here seat to fly in, not the patio customers flight. So they compensated me in Pringle’s and a glass of red wine for the inconvenience. I personally will never fly nor recommend this airline. It was worth paying a first class ticket to Austin then having to rush and now kiss the entire rehearsal for my best friend."
Cons: "I purchased a round trip trip to Orlando, my departing flight was delayed due to maintenance issues for almost 5 hours. I cancel my flight at the gate and took another flight with another airline. I emailed Frontier’s customer service that was told I would receive a confirmation email about my refund but I had not received anything, I also tried calling but I kept being disconnected. At the gate, they told me that this would not affect my return flight at all but IT did! I got an email saying I received a full refund 2 hrs before I was suppose to head to to airport to go back home. I immediately called & found out they canceled my ticket & the first person I spoke with wanted me to pay $160 to get back on the flight which I more than I paid for the round trip flight in the first place. I spoke with a manager and was able to get back on the flight for what I paid the first time. Which I’m still not happy about, I’m lucky I checked my email at all that day and realized what they did but still instead of enjoying my last day in Orlando I spend it dealing with this. The return flight was on time but I was seated next to a gentlemen who was a mix of cologne & BO and would not be still. To top it off after landing in Austin, we were stuck on the tarmac for 1hr and 20 minutes because the airplane at the gate we were going to was having some kind of maintenance issues. I’m never flying with Frontier again."

She said the plane was still loading and running a bit late, but impossible to get on because I was booked on the 7:30 flight. I will probably not fly Frontier again. 4 hours later and $50 dollars in the hole for food and drink sitting here dreading my middle seat and no room to move for 2 hours. Then, have to pay for a Lyft to get to my car because my cousin was my ride back to her house. I sure do miss the old Frontier."

There were no food options. We were supposed to get a voucher, and I have not received it. Lastly, after waiting over 8 HOuRS, we still had to pay for snack and drink. I was ripped off and will not be flying with Frontier again."

Cons: "First and hopefully last time flying Frontier. Carry-on baggage charge of $60 per person at the gate and only $35 online...added bag online to avoid additional fee. Boarding was fine, but had to wait 45 minutes past take-off time for mechanic to sign off on all maintenance items for plane. All the while, the crew stood around and didn't make anyone aware of anything, almost like it was something that happens to them all the time. Very unprofessional and clearly not focused on the actual people on the plane. The flight attendants were chatting with each other like they were off work and NOT attending to anyone. Very poor crew."
Pros: "The crew and captain were really informative throughout the trip and kept us updated about incoming turbulence. They were very calm and professional about it. We were a bit late boarding on but still arrived on time!"
Cons: "Nothing in particular was bad. You just have to pay for any kind of food or drink onboard so maybe take some snacks or water beforehand. The seats also don't decline. Again, not a big deal to me so it was good overall. Also, if you actually read their website and pay attention to the numerous emails they send you, they TOTALLY mention that you have to pay for a carry on. So just book it online and save yourself the money, it's like $25 for a carry on and $30 for a checked bag. Plus, you should be looking at all that info before you fly, regardless of the airline."

This is my second Frontier experience and both times I was not able to pay for my bags online with my credit card, therefore I was forced to pay higher prices than necessary. Can't believe you charged me $45 for a carry-on - preposterous!!! Also - I was not able to check in at the kiosk when I got to the airport.... I tried to different kiosks and neither would take my credit card so I had to wait in the long line to talk to ticketing agent . Poor experience all around - will not recommend or use front tier in the future."

Secondly, Frontier charges for *everything* - carry-on? That'll be $40-$60. You want a soda? That'll be $2.00. Snack? Yep... pay up, sucka. Water's free, thankfully. That said, the price was right and the flight was mercifully short; so I'd probably do it again. Because I'm a sadist, apparently."

My requests for the captain to turn on the air were ignored, and we were all left to sweat it out. You have to pay for everything except water, and even getting water is a difficult task! About an hour in, with no carts going by, I went to the back of the plane to ask for a glass of water. The flight attendant, who was literally standing next to the water cart, told me to wait for the service component. I'm 8 months pregnant, was uncomfortable and parched from the roasting plane. I asked why she couldn't just pour me a quick cup right there, and she said "you're just going to have to wait like everyone else." Turbulence ensued and an hour later the attendants made their way to give people their free water. No seats on this plane recline, no leg room. Just awful. Never ever flying this airline again!"
Cons: "Fronteir created new seats that do not recline, are quite thin and small tray tables that don't lock. The consequence is that the man next to me couldn't lean back enough, so slumped onto me most of the flight. A one year old behind me constantly pulled up and down the unmatchable tray table and kicked my thin chair -- so I felt every little tiny foot. The stewardess refused to give us water when our row asked and they forgot to call boarding zone 2 when boarding so it was a mess. I would say Frontier was a terrible airline. Their discounted prices are a farce as they charge for a seat and carry-on luggage, so I may as well have paid for a regular fare from a more comfortable airline."

Cons: "After pushing the flight back twice, they then bumped the flight back up and changed the gate without making an announcement throughout the terminal. I also received a text notification indicating the flight was delayed, but not that it was moved up again and the gate had changed. They only called our names after it was too late and they would not allow us to board. They left seven people standing at the gate as they pulled away. The earliest they could rebook us was 2 days later. Book a budget airline, get budget service. Will happily pay more next time for a different airline."
Cons: "The flight was delayed a few hours. It took forever to Get out of the gate. It took an hour once we landed to get in the gate and deplane. I was given a seat on the computer and then when I got on the plane there were two people with same seat. The floors and seats were unbelievably dirty as well. I have never seen so much trash and crumbs everywhere. It was an awful experience. Our trip to Vegas the first night was ruined because we were planning to see a show Thursday evening and landed two hours late and could have possibly made it but we sat on runway for an hour before deplaning."

The flight attendants were doing the bare minimum. And when asked a question they were not helpful and also didn't seem to care about the comfort of the passengers. Several of the overhead lamps on this plane were out. Even though we had to wait on the plane for over an hour before departing, no drinks were offered (unless you wanted to pay for them). I think there are things that can be done to make an experience more enjoyable even when things are not great. Like offering a free soft drink to passengers as they wait etc. Being cheerful can go a long way, and we weren't getting that from this Frontier crew."

Cons: "2.0 hours late boarding; boarded 2x; lousy information; surly condescending station manager; insane baggage counter hours; no connection information in flight despite airline full responsibility for everyone on the plane being behind schedule.; connecting flight still at gate when 10 people tried to board and were not given access until a near riot occurred; no one seemed care at all. A woman with 5 week old child, a senior citizen with a cane, a woman recovering form surgery all RAN from gate to the other (about 1/2 miles) only to be told they were too late, the terminal door was closed. Only after pounding on the door, cajoling the customer service people 10 feet away and telling 50 others waiting in the service area did the door open!"

Cons: "They charge for for everything on this flight. Checking in - it cost $35 to check your bag in - $40 of you want to board with it! I do all the work and I have to pay more? Then to pick a seat - any seat - it is another $5 - $25. I understand that for premium seating (ext, etc) but any seat? Finally - drinks and snacks - that costs money too. While the fare looks cheap - beware of all the add ons. At a minimum, you have an additional $70 to $100 to the price of the ticket This does not turn out to be a cheaper price....beware."

Cons: "$40 for checked bag, $45 for a second carry-on Flight was 45 minutes late with no explanation. The woman operating the gate counter was very unprofessional and downright rude to several people, including myself, who went up to ask a question. There is no free snack or beverage service on flights. Seats do not recline unless you pay extra. During take off the pilot let down the landing gear jolting everyone. Something "overheated." Turbulence persisted throughout the flight. This is my second time flying with them and having a very similar experience. Needless to say, I will not be flying frontier again."
Cons: "Cheapness got the best of Frontier at long last and while my outbound flight was OK, we suffered through an inexplicable two hour delay returning as the passenger computer systems all crashed and a member of the flight crew had to, at long last, go through the cabin and count off each passenger in person. Meanwhile the flight attendants, who all seemed like minimum wage temp workers, had no idea what was going on and could not help passengers. All very disorganized and unprofessional - followed by the offer of $2 for a soda. Avoid."

I and other passengers were alarmed that the flight was not going to happen. Someone did check the airport departure and arrival screen and found out the gate had been changed. Can't the electronic signs at the gates indicate the gate changes of flights? somehow get the word out at the gate? Not all people are experienced enough flyers to know to check the big airport arrival/departure boards and there wasn't a Frontier soul anywhere around to ask."
Pros: "The pricing of the flight was great in comparison to other airlines, the flight was also on time and a bit early arriving to my destination. I did do my research prior to flying with frontier and noticed that many other travelers have complained about the added costs; the airlines website states that you have to pay ahead for baggage and carry-on's prior to arriving at the airport otherwise it'll be a lot more expensive there. I paid for luggage each way, no carry-on during this flight but did choose my seat ahead of time as well as I was traveling with my husband."
Cons: "The bathroom was not clean and smelled terrible - this should definitely be looked into as airplane restrooms are pretty gross already (also being pregnant, the smell was even worse). You don't get a complimentary snack/drink on the plane light other airlines but the ticket was about $100 cheaper than competitors so it wasn't anything to really complain about."

Cons: "The airline increased the bag fees for the summer without an obvious communication. Very unfair and un professional from such a company. I paid $10 extra than 5 days before. The only problem with Frontier is that to check in bags there is only 1 maybe 2 people taking bags for full planes at least 100+ passengers. As it is cheaper and better to check in bags than carry on the airline should make this proccess more efficient. I spend at least 20-30 minutes to check my bag each wat ok my last trip. Very unefficient!"

Cons: "The gates were changed almost at the last minute and we didn't hear any announcements. A few passengers we're almost late for boarding. I found out because some lady came by and asked if this was the flight to some where else. That's how I found out the gates were changed. I told the rep to make sure that they make the announcement so everyone knows of the changes. I could of got on the wrong plane and missed my flight."

Cons: "the flight was only cheaper until you had to either check a bag or pay to carry on! Pay to drink a soda or anything! The seats are the most stripped down uncomfortable airline seats I have ever experienced. After all the add on costs, there is no value in the cramped, crowded, uncomfortable flight. Also, on every flight at least half of the passengers were not aware of the baggage policy until it was too late to check it for less money and had to pay extra to carry on. To top it off, we had to change gates at the last minute, resulting in having to go out of the Domestic terminal and sent us all back through the check in!!! We should have at least been able to fly through the pre check if not rerouted us through another way that did not require the total shoes off, open bags, metal detection all over again!!!"
Cons: "The flight was delayed and the airline charges for everything. They tried to charge me for my CARRYON bag which is hilarious, and I proceeded to say I would not pay that charge. The attendant let me board the plane anyway and I put my carryon in the overhead without an issue, which deeply concerns me. It seems as if Frontier arbitrarily tacks on that charge, tricking their customers like con artists who will fall for this absurdity. The air conditioning did not work well and they almost forgot to give us water. Maybe they even charged for the water. The attendants were rude. Dont fly Frontier unless you really really really need to save a dime or two."

Cons: "The assistance of a front counter agent was horrible and made inappropriate comments to me due to me being late to my flight which was due to a faulty shuttle and short staffed rental service as if I was aware of airline policy! Even though I wanted to avoid all of lines to check in (only carry on bag) but all kiosk where out of service which why the lines where so long...the snide remarks and rude comments were not appreciated especially in front of other patrons, thank God another agent to assist me after the line agent moved me another customer up due to our flights."

He was rude, said not his fault (we know), unapologetic & said only to call the 800 number. For 20 to 30 minutes nobody got thru. Those that finally did were told the next available was Friday (a day & a half). All I got was to call back later. I didn't get my checked bag back until an hour & a half after scheduled departure. I couldn't try to find a different flight till after that. Their customer service was non-existent. MAJOR EPIC FAIL for FRONTIER AIR."

Cons: "The seats could be more comfortable. Our flight home was cancelled, but other airlines had flights going out, so that was weird for them to cancel, but other airlines were fine. The next flight after was 14 hours later, so there was no way we were going to wait for the next flight. Had to cancel our flight, and spend more money at another airlines. But I got my money back, so that was good."

I spent hours on the phone with both spirit and your company and still nothing was resolved. Now have an insurance claim hoping to get my money back as we would never use spirit for any other flight besides the one that we were planning to take as it's the only direct flight to Myrtle Beach. You also have to pay for seat assignment and baggage, and that's including a carry on. It's ridiculous."
