Cons: "Our original flight was cancelled with no explanation. My girlfriend was notified of this and I was not. When I called to get my flight details I was informed that I was to fly out on a completely different day instead. After explaining that there was no chance of that happening, the call center rep was happy to help. The flight was now an American Airlines flight booked through Alaska. About 3 days before our flight we both received calls from American saying that they did not have our passenger information. Apparently Alaska just didn't transfer that over. We also now had two confirmation codes as the returning and connecting flights were still with Alaska. Once we got to the airport on the day of I was able to print my American Airlines boarding pass, however I could not print my Alaska boarding pass on neither American nor Alaska's kiosks. It was a redeye flight as well so there was no staff at the check in counters yet. We ultimately did get to our destination, but it was such a completely unnecessary headache to get there."

Pros: "Overall I would say I was pretty impressed with Alaska, their crew and their service. I would say that the part I most enjoyed about your flight services was the gogo inflight internet. On my iPhone 6 it worked perfectly and i happily enjoyed multiple free movies on my flight. My wife did experience some troubles connecting with her LG 6. Hopefully as you go along you will continue to work to get better support for all phone types."
Cons: "I think mostly it is because the world has become so allergy sensitive that these things must be avoided at all cost, but I'd say my least favorite part about the flight was the inflight "snack" service. I don't know where these biscotts came from, but I miss the old days of peanuts and pretzels. I will commend you that the drink cart came around 2 times during our flight. I think that is great. But the drink cart was definitely missing Dr. Pepper."

Cons: "I was asked to gate check my bag, which I did. Then waited an hour on the tarmac while they “rebalanced the baggage” which turned out to mean “taking 60 bags off the plane and leaving them.” They didn’t ask for volunteers or even tell us until we got to baggage claim and our bags didn’t show. The carryon I was asked to gate check will now be held at least 24 hours. Totally deceitful and unprofessional."

One flight even offered free check-in of bags that went all the way to our destination because of limited overhead compartment storage. Most flights were on time. We had one flight late and the person at the counter was able to get us on another flight so that we didn't miss our connection - this was stellar customer service."
Cons: "It's just a fact of modern-day air travel, but those planes are so incredibly cramped! Had a bit of trouble with online checkin for our departing flight. I wish you could also make it policy for customers and crew to avoid fragrances. We were accosted by people who bathed in bad cologne!"

When disembarking, there was a male attendant who said, and I paraphrase: This plane has exits both in front and in the back, you may choose whichever one you choose, but if exiting from the rear door, please be careful (and in light of our destination, I must caution you to DUCK.' I used to love Alaska airlines, but the quality has dropped."

Cons: "After getting stuck in Seattle for 5 and 1/2 hours, I managed to get a flight back home to Oregon when it was clear that they could not get me to San Francisco as booked. Flights were so turbulent there was no beverage service to or from Seattle. Flight attendant on Seattle to Eugene flight was texting on her phone while we were boarding and she would say hello without looking up. I've never seen such an amateurish enterprise in my life."

Cons: "Flight was delayed out of St. Louis causing several of us to miss our connecting flight from Salt Lake City to Portland. Delta was of very little help in assisting us in making a connecting flight. They could have at least helped with travel arrangements and provided us with a little food, a pillow and a blanket as we waited in their terminal for the next flight on their airline which was a several hour wait. I understand these things happen but the passengers didn't cause the problem and Delta needs to take care of people better if they expect to earn repeat business."

We had to rebook everything pay almost twice as much for the plane fare, our Lodi g cost more and our trip was delayed for two weeks. Vyama is blaming us for spelling our name wrong and claimes that it’s our fault this happened because everything is automated. There saying they don’t touch anything that we enter into the booking but somehow everything they claim we entered is now in all capital letters and the space between our first name and middle name is now gone and all run together. The coustomer service number gets you to someone in India. I have tried to get this addressed four times now at first they tried to place the responsibility on the airlines now us and they have hung up on me twice. Kayak has been worthless, they also just pass the responsibility on to someone else. We will never use them again ant I intend to make sure that this mess is put out in social media to hopefully keep others from having their travel plans ruined by their flawed system."

All involved blamed each other. Beware"

Pros: "A cheap option to upgrade to 1st was offered that ended up being a net 0 cost upgrade for me so I took it. Comfortable on an old (but oh so nice) aircraft."

A short transfer was made even more difficult, and a massive waste if time and fuel sitting and waiting. Figure out your gates early and better, and move around if needed. At the very least, bring up some stairs and buses to get passengers to the terminal and then tow the aircraft in when you have a gate available."

Therefore, I had to spend the entirety of my redeye flights crammed next to someone while I was looking at an almost empty economy plus section. Also, we boarded earlier than expected but we spend an extra hour on the flight waiting to take off. I would not have minded boarding early if we had taken off early, but we took off an hour later."

After spending a fair amount of time on the phone with customer service I was able to get me on a Flight to Minneapolis that did not arrive till 1:30am then had to take a rental car to drive 3.5 hours to make it to my destination. I was not compensated for any of this. My return flight from Fargo to St. Louis was also Delayed. Both from Fargo and from Chicago. I have never experienced such poor scheduling from an airline or as many delays or cancelled flights in just a few day period."

Cons: "HORRIBLE CREW! I’ve never been treated so poorly by a professional in any industry. They were childish and inconsiderate. They made the already horrible experience of flying with this subpar airline even worse! I would never recommend this airline to anyone. I wouldn’t fly this airline again if they paid me to. We were in the 4th row and wanted to use the restroom, they put their cart in front of aisle (horizontally) and told us we couldn’t use the front restroom. No explanation at all. Just said “you have to use the one in the back”. As we turned to walk all the way to the back you could hear them laughing and snickering at us. Another example was when we pushed the call light to ask them to take our 4 empty cans so we’d have room for our laptop on the tray. She came to our seats and asked what we wanted. When we told her she said “you’ll have to wait” then walked away empty handed. It made no sense and they didn’t pick up the garbage for awhile later. Overall, the worst. Don’t fly this airline, EVER!"

Then, have to pay for a Lyft to get to my car because my cousin was my ride back to her house. I sure do miss the old Frontier."

Throughout the online check in process there was an endless stream of popups asking if I was SURE I didn't want to pay more for a carry on, to choose my seat, etc which made the check in process very tedious and frustrating. And doing blatant things like making the "yes I want to pay more" button huge and basically trying to hide the "no thanks" button. As if customers aren't going to see right through that and get annoyed? (Their cost benefit analysis really didn't account for happier people being more willing to pay for extra things) Also, when my flight home got cancelled it was almost impossible to get a hold of a real person to talk to. Since it was due to weather conditions Frontier had an announcement on their website about what to do. Which...had a convenient link to requesting a refund but no instructions on how to go about re-booking, just that it was theoretically a thing they would do. When I called their customer service I was met with a recorded message about how they're overwhelmed with calls (understandable) followed by same message that was on their website and then...nothing. They ended the call. No option to speak to a person, no "you'll need to wait an hour for someone to be available", no menu to flip through...nothing. Frontier just very obviously doesn't care about customer experience (other airlines/companies at least have the decency to pretend). You'll get an adequate flight pretty cheap (provided you didn't want to bring a significant amount of luggage or eat/drink on the flight) that will get you from point A to point B. Just don't have any expectations going in."

All other airlines are gone. This same flight was delayed for the last two nights in a row. They refuse to consider compensation. They can't even guarantee that a pilot will show up. This all seems Mickey Mouse to me. This is a fly-by-night operation (no pun intended). My advise would be to avoid Frontier if at all possible. The cost is about the same as competitors, anyway, due to the staggering add-on costs. I am surprised that we are not charged for oxygen"

"customer service" counter in Denver was horrible - dismissive and rude."

Cons: "Fronteir created new seats that do not recline, are quite thin and small tray tables that don't lock. The consequence is that the man next to me couldn't lean back enough, so slumped onto me most of the flight. A one year old behind me constantly pulled up and down the unmatchable tray table and kicked my thin chair -- so I felt every little tiny foot. The stewardess refused to give us water when our row asked and they forgot to call boarding zone 2 when boarding so it was a mess. I would say Frontier was a terrible airline. Their discounted prices are a farce as they charge for a seat and carry-on luggage, so I may as well have paid for a regular fare from a more comfortable airline."

Cons: "The flight was delayed a few hours. It took forever to Get out of the gate. It took an hour once we landed to get in the gate and deplane. I was given a seat on the computer and then when I got on the plane there were two people with same seat. The floors and seats were unbelievably dirty as well. I have never seen so much trash and crumbs everywhere. It was an awful experience. Our trip to Vegas the first night was ruined because we were planning to see a show Thursday evening and landed two hours late and could have possibly made it but we sat on runway for an hour before deplaning."

On this trip my seat mates were thin enough that they fit within their seats as compared to another Frontier flight I took where my seat mates were a husband and wife who I estimate both weighed over 300 pounds. Even though they did not use the arm rest between the two of them, their combined weight/hel bulged over and under the arm rest next to me so I had at most 2/3 of the already small and cramped seat for myself."
Cons: "I think it is basically deceptive to advertise comparatively low prices then charge between $10 to $70 to obtain round trip seat assignments, $60-80 to carry one bag round trip, and $2.99 for a soda. I don't like the fact that even if you have a boarding pass that it is necessary to go through the entire line with folks who may or may not have a boarding pass to check a bag. If I had known this I would have paid the extra amount for a carry on bag. The non reclining skinny seat style and limited knee room/leg room is tolerable for a 2 or 3 hour flight but I can't imagine taking a much longer Frontier flight."

Took over an hour to check bag as there was one person checking bags at DIA. The other employee was assigned to the customers who had paid a premium fee. Many of the customers left the long lines and went to curb side to check their bags. When I arrived at gate, flight was delayed. I got on the plane and into my seat. Unfortunately, I was not paying attention and sat in 8F, not 8E. There was a woman and her daughter who came on late and they gave 8E to the daughter. Moments later a woman, came and asked me to show my boarding pass. I took out my phone but forgot I had switched it to airplane mode as we were due to leave. In a full flight, the woman (Robin), started telling me that I was on the wrong flight and that I was on the later flight. I couldn't bring up my seat assignment because I was frazzled and embarrassed as she insisted I get up and leave with her. I thought we were going out to check my assignment, but when I got out to the gate, I realized that the plane was leaving. Robin and the crew realized they had made a mistake and told me the only thing they could do was get me on the 10 p.m. flight out of Denver. Never have I been treated so poorly. All someone had to do was ask my name which did not happen until I was totally humiliated as I struggled to get off the plane and was out at the gate. I was reimbursed my flight and was given a check and a $15 voucher for dinner which didn't cover my dinner. I took the later flight and arrived home at 0100 a.m. My husband had to come home from the coast (2 hour drive) to take care of our dogs who were waiting for me to come home to feed them and get them out of the heat."

A woman with 5 week old child, a senior citizen with a cane, a woman recovering form surgery all RAN from gate to the other (about 1/2 miles) only to be told they were too late, the terminal door was closed. Only after pounding on the door, cajoling the customer service people 10 feet away and telling 50 others waiting in the service area did the door open!"

Cons: "They charge for for everything on this flight. Checking in - it cost $35 to check your bag in - $40 of you want to board with it! I do all the work and I have to pay more? Then to pick a seat - any seat - it is another $5 - $25. I understand that for premium seating (ext, etc) but any seat? Finally - drinks and snacks - that costs money too. While the fare looks cheap - beware of all the add ons. At a minimum, you have an additional $70 to $100 to the price of the ticket This does not turn out to be a cheaper price....beware."

Pros: "The flight, the crew, the updates from the airline and Kayak was great. Frontier is a great company and very affordable."
Cons: "The airline increased the bag fees for the summer without an obvious communication. Very unfair and un professional from such a company. I paid $10 extra than 5 days before. The only problem with Frontier is that to check in bags there is only 1 maybe 2 people taking bags for full planes at least 100+ passengers. As it is cheaper and better to check in bags than carry on the airline should make this proccess more efficient. I spend at least 20-30 minutes to check my bag each wat ok my last trip. Very unefficient!"

Cons: "Was at boarding gate A36..which is what the big board said to be at..my ticket, as well. Waiting with 100+ other passengers at gate..watching Netflix out of boredom waiting on plane. 15 mins past departure time..I go to customer service and they tell me its MY FAULT I missed the plane that left 4 minutes prior because THEY changed the gate to A32.. There was no change on the board..but they said it was announced. It wasn't made clear to those of us who thought we were in the right gate waiting. I was able to fly out until the next morning..putting a lot of plans I and others had in serious jeopardy. Your customer service agents have MUCH to be desired..very rude..taking customers that walked up behind me while making me wait on them to get their sh*t together. I almost lost the only flight available out the next day because they were chatting amongst themselves about personal problems!!"

Pros: "We arrived early!"
Cons: "The $20 in extra charges for the most uncomfortable seats ever. I was also never made aware of the extra charges for carry on items. At least be up front about it. Made my round trip ticket almost $100 more in fees."

Pros: "The Staff was friendly"
Cons: "the flight was only cheaper until you had to either check a bag or pay to carry on! Pay to drink a soda or anything! The seats are the most stripped down uncomfortable airline seats I have ever experienced. After all the add on costs, there is no value in the cramped, crowded, uncomfortable flight. Also, on every flight at least half of the passengers were not aware of the baggage policy until it was too late to check it for less money and had to pay extra to carry on. To top it off, we had to change gates at the last minute, resulting in having to go out of the Domestic terminal and sent us all back through the check in!!! We should have at least been able to fly through the pre check if not rerouted us through another way that did not require the total shoes off, open bags, metal detection all over again!!!"

Cons: "The flight was delayed and the airline charges for everything. They tried to charge me for my CARRYON bag which is hilarious, and I proceeded to say I would not pay that charge. The attendant let me board the plane anyway and I put my carryon in the overhead without an issue, which deeply concerns me. It seems as if Frontier arbitrarily tacks on that charge, tricking their customers like con artists who will fall for this absurdity. The air conditioning did not work well and they almost forgot to give us water. Maybe they even charged for the water. The attendants were rude. Dont fly Frontier unless you really really really need to save a dime or two."

Pros: "It got me where I needed to go, and that's about it."
Cons: "Horribly uncomfortable seats, no complimentary beverages other than water, $30 carry on fee per bag that you are not told of up front, I was not told at any point in the booking that I would have to pay additional fees to pick seats (this makes no sense at all). On the first leg of my trip the crew was complaining about the passengers on the plane while in the aisle for us all to hear - very unprofessional....needless to say, I will not be flying Frontier again."

Pros: "...the ticket agent who got me checked and put me through priority TSA so I could make my flight!"
Cons: "The assistance of a front counter agent was horrible and made inappropriate comments to me due to me being late to my flight which was due to a faulty shuttle and short staffed rental service as if I was aware of airline policy! Even though I wanted to avoid all of lines to check in (only carry on bag) but all kiosk where out of service which why the lines where so long...the snide remarks and rude comments were not appreciated especially in front of other patrons, thank God another agent to assist me after the line agent moved me another customer up due to our flights."

Pros: "Nothing stands out as what I liked - the crew and boarding were average, so I guess not negative is good in this case."
Cons: "I chose this flight because of cost but don't be fooled - you will pay for everything extra - seat selection, carry-on or checked luggage, even coffee or snacks, extra. The seats are absolutely terrible in my opinion, don't recline, limited padding, very uncomfortable if flying over 2 hours. At the end of the day, this was only like $25 less than another airline (american in this case) - and all the other airlines are much more comfortable and include those little things like carry-on, nonalcoholic beverages and snacks. It isn't worth it, use another airline!"

Pros: "Nothing."
Cons: "WORST AIRLINE EXPERIENCE EVER. I got totally ripped off! I paid for the ticket + the airline has you pay for seats on the connecting flight AND the 2nd flight + $40 for a carry on. At the end of the day I could have paid for a badass flight on ANOTHER CARRIER. I'll remember to NEVER fly this airline again.The non-reclining seats cost extra cash which is not properly disclosed during ticket purchase, a carry-on bag cost extra cash, the seats don't recline, the tray tables are tiny, THEY EVEN CHARGE FOR WATER."
