Cons: To my shock, my boarding pass while scanning to enter the aircraft was rejected with wild flashing red lights saying my trip was cancelled. Someone else was given my emergency row seat, booked and confirmed 24 hours ahead. It was a full flight but I got a middle seat and continued my long journey home from Kenya

Pros: The plane we were on between Zurich and Copenhagen was comfortable and modern for such a short trip. This was a stark contrast to the old SAS airplane we flew in the opposite direction as a Swiss flight. The staff on the plane were friendly and helpful.
Cons: We missed our original flight due to connection difficulties. We tried to hold this flight (the return flight that we had paid for in our round trip ticket) but when we arrived at the airport we were informed that they had sold our seats. We had to pay $250 USD to fly standby (and "reissue" the tickets that we had already paid for) on a flight that was oversold by at least 6, and we heard other passengers also being told their tickets were sold. Their customer service for the ticket change and the phone calls made before hand where they promised to hold our tickets, were so disappointing, it was like dealing with any US based airline. We won't be flying with them again.

Pros: The most difficult problem I have to deal with in airline transportation occurs when the fellow traveler in the seat in front of me decides to drop their seat back into my lap. The seats are so close together that when the seat in front of you is all the way back the following happens: 1. You can no longer view the monitor on the seat back. 2. You cannot eat or write from your tray top. 3. You have great difficulty getting out of your seat. 4. You have great difficulty keeping from severely injuring the occupant of that seat. The way to deal with this is to get out of your seat. Stand in front of the offending passenger and as politely as you can as him or her to refrain from dropping the seat back so far. But the airline should not put you in this situation.

Cons: 12 of January, 2018 Dear Austrian Airlines authority, I address to your kind attention to asist me to get to me the hat qhich I lost on board of the flight 1576 when I arrived to Vienna airport on my way frpom JFK to Lwo. It happened because it was no room above my seat's bin and the steard helped me to get my heat in another bin. Unfortunately I forgot at the moment when I left the board of the plane, a minute later I reminded that I forgot my hat but I was not allowed to go back and get my hat. I tried to communicate with the Lot&Found office in Vienna airport as I had 2h40 minutes in connection time and it was enough time to get me back the hat, unfortunately nothing was really done from the airport staff to get me my hat and made to me possible continue traveling with my hat. I spoke to two managers, the name I could share with you if you need. The Found office registered my black hat and the plastic box under the number F2018/000682. In this situation I ask your offices to deliver my hat and the plastic box to Lviv airport as sson as possible as this is a special hat for my daily prayers. I wish you best and ask for your kind assistance to send the item as soon as possible with the nearest flight. Sincerely, Meylakh Sheykhet

The staff speaks impeccable English, there is much more leg room than on flights with American companies, and it is so pleasant to get pillows, blankets, headphones, drinks (including wine), snacks and 2 meals on our international flight and not feel nickle and dimed the way we do now on domestic flights.

Zurich airport has no charging sockets! (Ancient) All of terminal A has not a single one! No one supervised the loading passengers not to interfere with those passing by. It was a complete mess. We took off 50 minutes late from Zurich, with no apparent reason. Worst in years for me. We sat in the plane for 30 minutes and were not offered even water. Big fail! The seats are tight but I was in the economy plus section so I thought she should have let me recline instead of physically moving my seat upright. And for someone who cared so much about the seat at dinner no one cared about me the rest of the flight. I slept through breakfast and no one left me a tray even. Plus, I had my seat back the rest of the flight including landing which I didn't realize. Isn't it their job to ensure our seats are in upright positions in case we forget or don't realize? My poor rating was because the luggage handling was really poor. Lots of flights from Paris to Amsterdam (almost hourly), but my bag showed up 12 hours later. My wife's bag took 36 hours. And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages

Pros: On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!

Cons: Without any explanation the plane I was due to go to Istanbul on at 11.30 was not available. I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday.

Despite my poor experience checking luggage, see the dislike comments, there were two employees who did go out of their way at the end of my poor check-in experience to help me. I did not get their names, but their good service was greatly appreciated. The plane crews were also awesome!
Cons: 1.Outdated website information: I have a small travel guitar that fits in the overhead bins and I always take it with me when I travel, with no issues. It counts as my overhead carry-on. I checked the British Airways website prior to leaving the U.S. and it said small instruments were okay. I was able to board from San Jose, USA, with no issues. However, I was told at Heathrow that no stringed instruments were allowed at all, under no circumstances, ever, no matter the size, even Business Class, even First Class, even if other airports were not enforcing the rules. The rules that ARE NOT LISTED ON YOUR WEBSITE 2. Poor customer service: Due to the above, at Heathrow airport, I had mixed signals everywhere and had to check-in THREE times, twice to oversize, I was sent back and forth all over the place, finally having to go all the way through the airport to pay to have my item boxed. Most of the folks along the way were extremely unpleasant and rude and acted as if it was the craziest thing in the world that I would have a carry-on travel guitar. TRAVEL guitar, small, not full size, not needing any special treatment. Most of the agents, who knew I was struggling with this, did not help me, for example, I had to wait in line all over again, twice! There was one woman that tried to help me and put me to the front of the line on one occasion and the last agent was helpful as well. I did not get any names, which I should have, because at the end, I FINALLY had those two staff members who helped me (see liked comments). I still had to check my box, but the final agent really went out of her way to make me feel better about the experience because she could see that I was given the runaround. But the folks at Oversize and the pre-Security line, were absolutely horrible and rude. No excuse for it at all. None.

Our flight in the way home was cancelled due to bad weather and although we had to queue for some time all the information we needed about what to do about food, hotels, travel, etc was given to us along with a new flight the next day with seats together. First time I've had a flight cancelled and was impressed with the service I received (now got to try and claim our expenses back so fingers crossed that goes ok).

Cons: I paid for the exit row and did not get it. Originally I paid for 10B and 10C which were on the exit row on the seating chart. They then cancelled my seats so I had to go back online and pick again. They wanted to charge me again so I called BA and got seats 10D and 10E which were also supposed to be exit row seats. They even asked me if my wife and I were physically able to follow flight crew instructions for the exit row. When we boarded we found out 10D and 10E were now the row in front of the exit row which did not recline. After being packed like sardines on the flight from Philly to London I was looking forward to some legroom. It could not have been any worse.

Pros: The flight was great. Business class is the way to go if it’s in your budget. However, the British Airways photos of business class does not quite reflect reality. It’s just a regular seat with more leg room.

Pros: I thought the flight over was very good but we missed our return flight because we were not informed of gates closing a hour before take off and had to pay for another return ticket. I thought the airline should have given us a little break on the cost.

Pros: Great crew who managed brilliantly under the circumstances....
Cons: The aircraft was unbearably hot - crew member in rear economy member said it was 42 degrees at one point. Took almost 2 hours to get the back of the plane (where I was sitting) down to 27 degrees. Understand that temperature can only be reduced in small increments but why was the temperature on board allowed to get to 42 degrees prior to boarding?? The crew were brilliant, and hats off to them for working in such difficult conditions.

Cons: British Airways misplaced our luggage for three days, and would give us no further information than "it will arrive soon." So, we were stuck near the local address we had provided in case they called for 2 full days. They refused to give us a more precise time as to when they would be delivered. Well, at one point they did say that they would be delivered at noon, but they weren't. Throughout the entire time waiting for the luggage to be delivered, there was no sense of urgency or concern on the part of British Airways. It seems missing luggage is just Business as Usual at British Airways.

Cons: No food, even water, without charge

Pros: I liked the movies and the entertainments on the plane.
Cons: People like old when it comes to history, traditions, restaurants etc. But when it comes to travel and technology people don't. Two of my friend's entertainment monitors were broken, bugs with the program all the time, no wifi on board. Compared to other airlines BA was quite disappointing.

Pros: very friendly and helpful staff. by chance small upgrade to comfortable seats next to the emergency exit.
Cons: no food, no entertainment system, no facility to charge cell phones.

Cons: The plane is not comfortable. Especially the number of toilets is very small: only 1 (ONE) on each side in the touristic part. And it is on the flight London-Las Vegas (10 hours)! One has to go for taking some drink himself. Not enough drinking was suggested during the flight. The screen is very bad. No real choice of movies.

Cons: There was a short boarding agent that was not friendly or helpful while checking people in. We watched her bully a customer for walking up before being called up. Then we got to go and she looked at my bag and said it won't fit. She told a us to put it I the box, it fit. She was not happy. The case has been a carry on for five flights prior to this flight.

Cons: Old non-refurbished B744 operated by British Airways. No air conditioning truck connected to AC in LAS. Problem with aircraft aircon packs lead to a steaming hot cabin and a late pushback. Substandard inflight entertainment from a 1980's circa screen.

Cons: We were on the runway for one hour and Calgary was not notified so we could not make our connecting flight even though room on the plane. On the flight an hour later we were on the plane for three hours but the weather prevented takeoff. Now we are sleeping in the airport until 6 am. So I think communication needs to be improved

Pros: I liked the 2-3-2 seat configuration so my husband and I could sit in a 2 seat row without being crowded in with anyone else. Those seats are tight!
Cons: Everything could have been better. Boarding was terrible. Apparently the Air Canada devices did not work at this gate? Because boarding was so delayed, we lost our spot to depart. We were stuck on the tarmac for an hour. The seats were too crammed together and very uncomfortable for a 4+ hour flight. Food service did come through, but they were out of most things. It’s advertised you can buy a meal/snack/drink combo but the drinks did not come through at the same time and that was a mess. There didn’t seem to be any air vents above the seats so the flight was very stuffy. We will never fly Rouge again.

Pros: Being the first passengers to exit the cabin after a 5 and a half hour flight is definitely a perk, as well as getting one's luggage (a priority tag is attached to them) immediately upon getting to the carousel, an other. Leg room and more space is also great.
Cons: The only board menu was not exhaustive, considering one pays over $500 USD to move up to business class.

Pros: The staff and crew were just amazing, I traveled with my 83 yr old mom who's in a wheelchair and the staff was with us from arrival to boarding and once boarded, the air crew was helpful and checking up on her often during the flight. The plane was full load of people so it was really hot but the crew came by often with water refill. A lady besides me was coughing a lot and sure enough the stewardess came by with water and to ask if anything she could do without having been summoned. We rented tablets to see movies and I'm not very technological but the stewardess was very patient with me and took time to help me set up and she showed me how to go about in your application. The flights to and from Las Vegas were perfect and all thanks to the wonderful crew you have, even the pilot was standing at the entrance to greet us when we boarded which was great as I got to see who I was entrusting my life to during this 4h38 min flight, quite reassuring. Anyways, UA, Transat and AA take a back seat to Air Canada any day of the week!
Cons: the heat was real bad, even with he little air vents on the ceiling, it was still really hot. the leg room was cramped but it felt like the seats were a little roomier than my last flights with Transat, UA and AA but that could be my imagination.

Pros: No in flight entertainment system. I hate those things. They take up room and lots of times you can't even turn off the screens. Streaming to personal devices is a much better solution.
Cons: Absolutely no room in seats. My knees pressed the seat in front of me. Airlines should be required to prominently disclose seat pitch.

Cons: third time flying with air Canada rouge to vegas and its the same story every time. They never check and everyone brings in 3,4 carry on so they don't have to pay the 25 dollar fee. Then there's no room and flight is delayed because of that.

Cons: Last time I saw a similar cabin was when I was 10! I'm 37 now. The overhead baggage bins were made for small bags from a different century. seats were grey....grey. In flight entertainment was by app...that you have to download first, I should have known beforehand. Food was little munchies. Seemed like an old and tired airline

Cons: My flight was delayed and cancelled for 23 hours. The people working for Air Canada in LAS were rude and condisending. At the time of writing this, I haven't heard anything back from Air Canada on how they plan to reimburse me for the food, and travel to and from the to and from the Airport. Don't fly Air Canada! Hitch hike, it's more dependable than that trash airline

Cons: I was late for this flight due to the delay from Baltimore to Toronto. I got a new flight with no problem, BUT the change messed up my travel plans because the arrival time to Athens was now later than before. We were additionally DELAYED 3 hours in Toronto.

Cons: I was on AC A333 from YYZ to MUC. The audio system for my seat didn't work and made for a long flight. Lucky I had downloaded some movies from Nextflix to my mobile device. The only thing I was able to use is the flight tracker on my seat screen.

Cons: The type of planes they use "Rouge" are too small, even for business class passengers. Seating & legroom is like upgraded economy, not business.

Re ordered but she never came back with any but walked by me a few times. not a snack of anything on a 4 hour flight. only if you paid.

Cons: Due to icy weather we missed our flight from Montreal to Las Vegas Wed Jan 4. Could they not have waited for the delayed flight from Ottawa to facilitate this connection? Many people had to wait overnight in the plastic airport chairs until the next flight at 8am Thurs Jan 5th. At that late hour could not the lights be slightly dimmed, the heavy beat pop music loop discontinued, and a dispensary machine with water, coffee or tea be in the departure area? There was none and the other shops had closed. It was overly bright, noisy and impossible to stretch out on the seats with rigid dividers.

Pros: Liked having the seat next to me empty on the fight back.
Cons: I did not like paying for picking my seat. Back in the day if you booked your ticket you got to pick your seat, like first come first serve, without paying for it. Now, if you want to guarantee a window seat you have to pay for it. I only did it because my mom advised me to. And I did so because I always listen and respect her advice. It made for a good experience because i like looking out the window. However,I did not appreciate having to pay for it. I believe that since we incur a plethora of microcharges for everything on the plane ticket that it should include picking your own seat without a separate charge. It is likely a matter of time before we will be charged extra for salt on our pretzels.

Cons: The announcement to limit on board luggage is threatening. I thought if there was not enough space for my on board belongings, it might be taken off and put as checked luggage, even though I met the on board requirements. There should be overhead space assigned to each seat...not first come first served..... that way people wound not take advantage of carry on allowances.

Cons: The check in counter was a mess. Though we had checked in online, it still took forever to check in at the counter as the machines could not print out the bag tags, then there was another line up for dropping off the bags. Those machines also could not read foreign passports though Canadian ones were fine. So we had to wait for our friends who were from overseas. The stewardess doing the announcements went so fast you could not hear her except for a few words, and she had a very strong French accent so it sounded like she was speaking in French all the time. But at least she was better than the pilot, whom we could not hear at all. The only word we heard was "cloudy".

Cons: There was 3 hour delay on the first flight, that made me miss my connecting flight then they booked another flight which was not a direct flight but with an additional stop. I reached Toronto 7 hours later than my original landing time


Pros: I was asleep for most of the flight so at least it was comfortable.
Cons: First, the departure gate was changed without any announcements, and I only noticed it because I stopped to look at and read it off one of the airport's electronic boards. Then, after I arrive at the (new) gate about 20 minutes later, they announce that the flight was to depart at the original gate, which turns out to be a mistake. Very disorganized...

Pros: Boarding was pretty smooth and crew was ok.
Cons: It was very cold in the airplane and if you wanted a blanket you had to pay for it. Also no free food was served. The plane was slightly delayed (~10 minutes).

Cons: There was a delay in take off for more than an hour. The gate staff did not give any updates and one of them was particularly rude to a mother and her disabled teenage son. The son was becoming quite agitated because he did not understand what was going on and the gate staff person told the mother to keep him under control as if he wasn't there. It was poorly handled.

Cons: The customer rep at the gate checked my bag but didn't attach my name to it, so they lost my bag. Flight attendants did not want to serve any coffee for some reason. Flight from TO to Hfx delayed twice; once d/t no plane available, then the ground crew left so no one to close the plane door from the outside. Had a maintenance issue so sat on the tarmac for way too long. My bag was found & I was told I would receive it the next morning.... NOT!!!

Cons: Service is absolutely poor. Pathetic. I asked to take away my cup of water. They said we will be back. That point did not arrive till the flight landed.

Pros: Wonderful selection of in-flight entertainment! Great food, great service.
