Cons: "Conditions beyond the control of Alaska airlines: during boarding someone's unsupervised child pulled the emergency alarm so everyone had to evacuate the airport and re-enter security. And then there was quite a bit of turbulence during the flight. Thank God we arrived safely."

Pros: "Inflight entertainment system was great; HUNDREDS of choices from movies and TV. Food packs were really good and we could reserve specific items when we did online check-in (so no more hoping they’ll have X or Y available)."
Cons: "I was sitting in 29C (aisle seat) and 2 of the 3 crew members kept running into my aisle-side shoulder and arm. I’m a bigger guy and I understand that occasionally bumps will happen, but 15-20 times on ONE FLIGHT?! The only thing I wanted was an “excuse me” or “pardon me”, you know COMMON COURTESY!"

Pros: "We arrived to check in at HI Lihue and the agent that checked me in was helpful and set off a chain of positive experiences for the flight home. Our luggage arrived moments after walking to the luggage carousel."

Pros: "The four stewardesses Cheryl, Juliet, Sandi and Shana made us feel welcome. They were very friendly, warm, courteous and patient. Even though we had to buy the food, they delivered the food very fast and kept on serving us the drinks (three times) even though they plane had some turbulence during those times. We really appreciated the excellent services and the customer-oriented attitude. I definitely will choose to fly with Alaska Airlines in the future."

Pros: "After an absolutely horrible experience with United, we ended up switching and booking a last minute flight on Alaska. So glad we did, they got us there on time, the plane was comfortable, snacks were good and the tablets for movie/TV watching were great. Most importantly it was a direct flight instead of 3!!!"

Pros: "The flig t had a delayed departure so I was given a voucher for $12 to get something to eat. In this day and age I thought that was very thoughtful. Also a representative handed each passenger a chit with instructions for a discount on a future flight. Again a thought act instead of a flat response!"

It would also be appreciated if they can preannounce and let us know ahead of time of what they're going to do i.e. when it's ok to get out of seat and when not."

Eventually brought it but why try to talk her out of it. Heavy set dark brown tall Attendant on flight 5874 Mesa Airlines. Lost my luggage. More and more friends, family & 1 flight expert says AA gets more complaints. Will try booking with another airline carrier in future unless absolute emergency to take AA. Worth $40.00 or more extra to get friendly service."

Cons: "If you get to the airport too early and there aren't any American Airlines flight before yours you have to wait for the crew to get there to open the counter and check you in. Just a couple pounds over the 50lbs and you get screwed with a $100 fee. There is very little AC in the airport and very few outlets so if you have to wait for a flight make sure to charge your devices prior to getting to the airport. WiFi on this an all other American Airlines flights I've recently taken has been useless - almost impossible to use."

Baggage didn’t show up until three days later and we had to retrieve it at the airport. Was given incorrect information numerous times, also several of the customer service agents were very impolite and not helpful whatsoever. Not a great experience, will do my best to avoid flying AA in the future."

(That might’ve been my fault... or my phone’s fault). But, the free texting was something only available in a country to which Donald Trump (the most patriotic American in his whole wide mind) thinks is so inferior! What’s up America? Can’t afford to give us free WiFi in our planes? I hear ya... What’re you gonna do Trump, build a wall around the United State’s overpriced internet service?!? Just kidding folks! I had a great flight!"

Cons: "This particular plane was not worth the up charge for seats. The head phone jacks did not work in our entire row & nobody cared, so we were not able to watch the monitor or any entertainment. Seats that didn’t have to pay extra we’re working. They skipped our row when offering drinks & snacks, when my seat mate asked for some of the biscotti the attendant questioned her asking if she was sure she hadn’t already already had one. Final small thing was the latch on the try table was not working correctly. In a nut shell, not worth the extra money that was paid."

Pros: "I loved the extra room in the seating, great seats too. Plus the personal TVs and movie selection was fantastic!!! However, 1/3 of the planes TVs did not work. Luckily, my row of TVs did work and we had an empty seat between my daughter and me , so when my son's TV went out he sat in my row which did work. Great plane, once everything is fixed!"

Cons: "We did not get on this flight because AA's scheduled it 90 minutes after landing from an Int'l flight. Why don't airlines schedule a minimum 3hours between Int'l-domestic connections. half the plane was stressing and freaking out about missing their connection even though the plane landed on time. "AA is not responsible for customs/security delays". Well, your customer service agents would have a lot less work if you didn't have to reschedule 100 people per flight. The time the plane drives/parks at the gate, you get off the plane and make it through customs, get your bag, recheck it (if need be, we didn't this time though), get through security and get to your gate, you'll be the luckiest person in the world to do that in less than 90 minutes."

Cons: "Showed up 29 minutes before my earlier flight and was evicted. It took 7 hours to get on another one. Then that flight was delayed an hour due to the A/C not working. Frequent business traveler going to avoid AA at all costs from now on."
