First, Delta needs more flights to/from Miami. Second, a 1000pm leaving at 1230pm is unacceptable from their biggest airport world hub. Another aircraft could have been used such as the aircraft scheduled to be used in the morning for that exact same route. Yes, I did get me there but the lack of sleep the next day didn't help me enjoy my entire trip since I was busy with activities during the weekend. This can be and is expected from Spirit (going bankrupt) and Frontier (despite they're nickel and dimers). But from Delta's World Hub? That's totally unacceptable!
Service in business class was not impressive. I ordered coffee with dinner and then watched other people get 2 refills before I got my 1 cup of coffee, and only after I pressed the attendant button overhead. Furthermore, the seats in the forward cabin need maintenance on this 737-800: the upholstery is detaching from the seat frame, at least on the backs of seats 1C, 1D.
I truly love flying with Delta. They have always treated me with the upmost respect
Our flight attendant in FIRST CLASS was one of the worst I’ve ever had. She was not at all pleasant, nor particularly good at her service.

The flight attendant in first class was beyond rude and didn't care at all about her job. AND the gate agent was even worse than the flight attendant for rudeness. She was awful.
Movie selection was meh. Food was great. Crew as always great. I paid for premium because that’s the only way not to feel like a sardine. That’s how economy should be imo. Sadly passengers have to pay an extra $1000 to get what they should at base price but that’s all airlines. The airline industry in general treats passengers as cargo.
Always good but we must do something about people in rows ahead of you that don't put their seats back up when they are suppose to. And It's rough to not be able to even lean over to get something out of my purse.

I selected first class expecting excetional service. It was mediocre at best. The food service was cold, meal choices was poor and on one leg they did provide dessert. I did enjoy the lay day seat but the movies were old and nothing current. Boarding the plane is always hot. So boarding is quite warm until your in the air. I took a small personal air fan. Update the meals and movies.
Did upgrade, travel in business it was great (more room I could sleep)
Had to go through security at the gate again. Had to take off shoes and go through the whole thing again even though we have global entry. They asked us to check in items bought at duty free during our layover and since we checked our luggage at the original departure airport, they forced us to check in a small backpack. None of this ever happened with other airlines. In addition, no vegetarian food option and no snacks during a 7 hr flight. Luggage limits are unusually small. This is unacceptable. Will NEVER fly Copa again and will tell friends and family to avoid this airline.
We paid extra with copa for seats near one another The plane was changed and we lost our seats We were all Separated. We have not received a refund for our seats despite emailing and calling.
Tell people to remain in their seats during the meal/beverage distribution. Enforce boarding by group numbers. No one was checking. Tell people to turn their electronics speakers off. Bigger cups for drinks.
This low cost airline looks and fells more like a local bus. In a 6 hour flight not being able to recline a seat is torture. The only thing available with no charge is a glass of water provided by, mostly, rude staff. Our luggage didn’t arrive

The usb plugs for charging your phone didn’t work, the seats were coarse and hard. Not very comfortable. No inflight WiFi
The seats were uncomfortable and barely reclined at all. Very little leg room despite being business class. The crew was friendly and the food was good. Had to use my own phone for in-flight entertainment.
The check in is the only positive thing in Avianca. The seat is the most uncomfortable I have traveled, the distance is minimal.

why did we have to go through security mid flight
Flight to Bogotá delayed by 3 h Missed connection from Bogotá to Guayaquil. Avianca unable to bring us to Baltra on time Overall delay 36h. We missed boat departure from galagos. Overall 10 day trip needed to be cancelled. Avianca was completely un-professional.

The checkin in laguardia was a disaster, scrambling left and right, it was constantly a trying to sell you something, better seat, constantly selling
They didn't let me board with a proper boarding pass. I threw away my bags so that I can board and was defined boarding. Had to take the next flight after paying more.

Over SOLD flight. It does not matter that you were able to check in 24 Hours before and confirm your flight. At the airport, the company SPIRIT rep wanted to remove people who pay for lower fares.

I wrote in my previous review that this airline is scamming customers into paying multiple times for the same bag or they will not let you on the flight. We ended up paying FOUR times for my son's regular size bag because they made him pay on each leg despite us showing receipts that we had already paid for the roundtrip bag (multiple times!). His one 17kg bag cost us $381 roundtrip because of their errors and they will not rectify it despite multiple attempts. They say they will look into it and then send me an email with the wrong confirmation number in it (not the one I gave them) and say they can't find anything. I have all the receipts and record where it came out of my bank account. I'm just running in circles. They did the same thing to my mom and her friend on a completely different flight. So, this is not an isolated incident as I now know of 3 situations where this happened and customers are losing hundreds of dollars. They should be reported to whatever agency oversees this sort of thing.
Kayak site indicated a carry on and handbag were included of which I have a document proving yet Sky insisted it was a zero fare and made me pay and additional $50 per carry on there and back.
Baggage recovery in SCL is the absolute worst I have ever experienced worldwide. You need to put benches. A hour wait is just not worth the time. Next time you can deliver my bag. Please discuss the issue with SCL baggage dept.
