The plane was very nice and comfortable.
The airline didn't serve any food. I'm a female at 5'7" and the leg room was a little tight
No food served, not even little package of peanuts. Asked for juice and was served water instead. Not good for 7.5 hours on a small cramped fully booked plane. Entertainment was not up to date or interesting. Flight attendant bumped me numerous times and no apology, I wasn't sticking out into the aisle. Boarding was delayed and not told why.
The seats were roomy and comfy and I was glad I didn’t have to pay extra for a seat like other airlines.
Boarding was very confusing and the customers reacted by plowing Willynilly down the ramp nano seconds after the physically challenged were wheeled on to the plane ignoring the airline staff at the gate. I went with the flow praying I would not get arrested. We boarded a total of 40min late . Second if I am paying for my baggage I should not have to wait 30-40 min for them to come out at baggage claim.
Crew was friendly, like the bigger plane and direct flight.
Legroom is above average, but at expense of seat comfort. Food is good but expensive. Crews were attentious and courteous, but not a strong differential from other airlines. Entertainment was good and easy to access.
Boarding in all of our 4 flights was chaotic and a combination of lack of organization from Icelandair and discipline from passengers. Space for boarding is scarce and confined. And when they call half of all passengers of a full 757 or 767 to board at the same time... the law of the jungle is stablished. Even with just a little more effort and organization from the airline it would be possible to make this a better experience for all passengers. Be aware of what you are told when you buy your tickets. They sold economy tickets to us and then charged a lot for bags telling us our tickets were economy light, even with their own receipts or tickets not mentioning anything about light on them.
