It wasn't clear that we would need to pay to check our luggage, especially since every international flight I have ever been on allows you a checked bag at no cost. When we got to the airport it cost us $130 each to check our bag which we were told it would have been around $50 if we had done it online ahead of time (if we knew). $130 per bag is excessive for checked luggage and we were extremely frustrated and disappointed. I like to fly Virgin when I can due to comfort but that experience left much to be desired.

The breakfast served in the route Abuja to Heathrow was very hot and tasty. The hostesses were great. Good service overall

I did not get the meal of my choice, also as I tried to check in at home, the system did not give me much choices to respond to, instead the system blocked me entirely from early check in and it wasn't enough time to make calls. I think check in should be made available at least 48-72hrs ahead not just 24hrs. Also walking from terminal to terminal in Frankfurt is way too far, it seems about 2miles + of walk.

The entertaiment was fine and the crew were polite

1,The food was bad. I was unable to eat. Simple food would have worked. I chose fish but hardly ate since it tasted bad. Additionally I am allergic to diary products and was not given a chance to express this when purchasing the ticket so I arrived in Rome extremely hungry. I ate at the airport on arrival in Rome, 2, There was no toiletries bag handed out i.e toothpaste and socks to keep us warm. 3. Was surprised that the food was on sale Brussels to Rome. Abidjan to Brussels was free food then mid flight rules changed and the food was on sale on the last leg of the flight.

bad customer service. No reliable information about the flight. How someone who never took an airplane can know that you have to get a visa when going to canada. If your ticket says your last destination is us. And i did not even got a full refund for their stupid mistake. Lack of information. You guys should be more careless for your customers.

I flew with multiple international airlines this summer and KLM was by far the best. The crew of KLM were exceptionally attentive, polite, and helpful. The meals were by far the most enjoyable of my airplane travel meals; and I learned that KLM does not charge for it's drinks on international flights, unlike most other international airlines that I traveled with this summer. In a sentence, flying with KLM was a very pleasant experience and I will recommend this airlines to others.

If I were going to list any negatives, I would say that the little travel pillow that was given to the passengers was so thin that it was practically useless, but I brought my own with me, so I was none the less comfortable.

Very friendly and the food and drinks never stopped and no additional charges, a very nice experience over the bargain airlines, free in-flight movies, and entertainment, no cost.

I was bumped up to Premium Economy, which resulted in a much more comfortable flight than Economy. The crew was nice.

Entertainment choices did not include newer movies. Too many older movies that had already been watched prior to this flight.

boarding area to Frankfurt was cramped. Not quite sure why two flights were scheduled for the same gate and caused confusion when both grouos wwre asked to board the plane

I really enjoyed my flight. I fly often and crew and service of Lufthansa really stood out. They were very friendly and caring. Food was exceptionally good. I defintely choose Lufthansa again.
