Cons: "Nothing, we were very happy."
Pros: "crew kept hitting my arm with cart and butt. imnot obese at all...…..they never apologized. too small...…………...squeezed in"
Pros: "Kept us waiting at gate for 5 hours, the boarded us, then canceled flight and asked us to deplane. Only gave one meal voucher for two days."
Cons: "After 2 hours of delay, cancel the flight and allow people to get sleep and give vouchers for 3 square meals as appropriate."
Pros: "Crew was great. Flight delayed due to lavatory door not closing. Then+0, 20 minutes of papaerwork. Followed by no one able to operate bridge when landed for 20 minutes."
Pros: "The crew was slow. Granted, the plane was full and the crew had many passengers but service was slow and cursory."
Cons: "Flying economy on American Airlines is very unpleasant. The seats are too small-the aisles too narrow and the bathrooms incredibly tiny. Only 2 bathrooms in economy for a tremendous amount of passengers. I had requested a bulkhead seat because of hip surgery. I had to purchase it."
Cons: "To many delays."
Cons: "The flight was booked. A lot of families were separated. It included family with the small children. Passengers were running around asking to change the seats. The entertainment system was very slow. The sound made cracking noises. The flight was over two hours late. In addition, we had to wait for our luggage over 40'. The luggage was wet."
Pros: "People on the planes were nice"
Cons: "The guy at the gate in france made me check my bag, he said it was due to the size but people were walking by with bigger bags and he didn't seem to care about them at all. Not sure why he singled me out. Also took my passport, which he wasn't doing for other passengers and told me to board the plane. I had to ask multiple times for him to return my passport. Not sure if it was his first day or something but it was a very frustrating experience."
Cons: "I could not get the Wi-Fi to work even though I paid for 24 hours of it there was a different Wi-Fi Carrier on this flight than the flight from Munich to Philadelphia, he did not recognize me and even the free shows I could not get to work it had 3 different site said it told me the log in to in none of them work on my cell."
Cons: "I was unable to order a vegan meal in advance of the flight online."
Pros: "It was on time, no delays"
Cons: "My flight got delayed at least 3 times!"
Pros: "Great service and sweet attendants"
Cons: "Person next to me was a little large and it was uncomfortable."
Cons: "American Airlines has terrible customer service. We were unable to board our flight at the Philadelphia airport because when we arrived (almost 2 hours before our flight) the ticket counter was already closed for the evening. No one from American Airlines could help us. We were left stranded at the ticket counter until it reopened at 3:15 am. We are very disappointed and disgusted with the poor service we received from American Airlines. After hearing multiple horror stories from others, it is safe to say we will never fly that airline again."
Cons: "Delayed for mechanical."
Pros: "I loved the attitude and helpful approach of the female flight attendant working the AA gate for the flight I took from DFW to COS last night (6/13). Truthfully, it was almost like I was back with Southwest. She was kind, calm, polite, efficient, and capable. Very rare in my experience with American Airlines yesterday. Interacting with her was refreshing."
Cons: "Getting home to Colorado Springs at 11:30 PM, taxiing for 15-20 minutes, and then waiting another 20-30 for checked luggage! Never have I waited that long during and after a Southwest flight! AA could truly learn something from their more modest counterpart. I have all but decided to resume my drives to Denver every other week rather than risk more and more time and poor experiences with AA flying in-and-out of Colorado Springs."
Pros: "Great crew! Professional. Friendly. Efficient. Excellent."
Pros: "I was not expecting the ample leg room and arm space. I was actually comfortable. It made such a huge difference in my day. The crew members were great and it was a pretty chill experience, which is not how I can describe any other flight in recent memory."
Cons: "The entertainment was just snippets from NBC shows that I’m not interested in. It was the same presentation on both legs of my trip, so even if I had been interested initially, I would have gotten bored the second time around."
Cons: "Delayed by 90 minutes."
Pros: "Everyone was nice"
Cons: "No gluten free snacks. Flight was late"
Cons: "Cabin temperature was cold and food could have been better."
Pros: "Great service"
Pros: "The actual flight was fine. But leading up to it not so much."
Cons: "Please inform travelers that their passport must not expire within 3-6 months of their trip to France. I was unaware of this and was not allowed on our flight in Philadelphia because my passport would expire in two months. We lost an entire day in France because I had to go to the customs office the next morning and get an emergency passport. I travel frequently, but somehow was not aware of this rule. If I had known I would have fixed the issue months ago. Multiple people viewed my ticket and passport before arriving in Philadelphia and no one caught this error until right as I was boarding the flight to Paris."
Cons: "A couple of flight attendants were a bit grumpy/short with passengers. Lack of food definitely not ideal but glad they could get something given circumstances with health department. Still waiting for promised vouchers to arrive."
Pros: "Smooth ride, checked in online, electronic boarding pass, going through security - a breeze. Was little apprehensive because I heard bad things about AA - my 1st experience was good."
Pros: "The flight was calm and clean. Not much turbulence. The flight staff was polite and there was plenty of room."
Cons: "The food was horrible and the seats were a little uncomfortable but everything else was pretty good"
Pros: "The flight was pretty quick; boarding and exit went smoothly."
Cons: "The plane was old (25 years), no power supply at seat, tight spaces, movies played in widely spaced monitors located over the center aisle."
Cons: "They closed the counter too early , missed flight Did mot accommodate although I was there 50 minites prior to the flight"
Pros: "Cheap seat had leg room"
Cons: "Seat in front of me was broken in the reclined position so I had no leg room."
Pros: "In flight service was terrific. Cubby areas were somewhat cramped. Was expecting more room."
Cons: "The food selection was great but the food itself was over cooked. Disappointing."
Pros: "I liked that the internet connection was free because I am a T-Mobile customer."
Cons: "Boarding the plane was a bit clumsy. I felt like everyone was tripping over each other since the front of the plane was boarding first."
Pros: "We didn't crash."
Cons: "No safety briefing for infants, rude gate staff, primitive fleet, terrible customer service at all levels."
Cons: "Food is garbage.."
Pros: "Clean and new airplane. Crew was very nice"
Cons: "People in front of us were reclining the entire time and our seats right behind them were tight. Did not like having to pay extra for seats"
Cons: "We were rushed onto the plane to sit on the tarmac. After waiting to take off for 45 minutes, we were told that our route had been closed and they were looking into other options. This was a flight from NYC to DC, route is closed? Once we finally got into the air, all was good."
Pros: "Was quick once we figured out what airline to check into."
Cons: "We arrived at the Finnair desk to find no one. Wasn't told to go to a American Airlines desk until standing in line for awhile. Could've miss s our flight due to this miscommunication. Also, could not check in online through Finnair, nor American. The whole process was very confusing."
Pros: "Not much! The flight was smooth and without event."
Cons: "Originally, I was scheduled to take a JAL flight from NRT to DFW, but for some reason, American Airlines switched the service to their own aircraft and crew. If I would have known that beforehand, I would not have purchased my ticket through AA.com. During my original online booking, the screen said JAL service from NRT to DFW. Just about everything was bad about my American Airlines flight. I travel to and from America several times a year from Asia. Each time I travel, I swear I will never fly an American based airline for the trans-Pacific portion of my flight. My latest experience with American Airlines only reinforces that resolution. The in-cabin crew is (and I'm being nice) pathetic! They are veteran flight attendants and they look and act like they could care less about the customers on the flight. Frankly, I'm just downright disgusted with the service and personalities of the American crew's attitude. They act like they are old and tired, uninterested in quality service, and that we (the passengers) are an imposition upon their life. For example, mid-flight, I walk to the back of the airplane for something to drink, instead of assisting me they point to a "station" at the Emergency Exit door stocked with random drinks and snacks. While they are chit-chatting, looking at their smartphones and reading newspapers, books, and Kindle-type devices. That has never happened on an Asian-based airline flight. Another example, in-flight food service, the cabin crew members are waking people up to serve food and, instead of being gentle and cordial, they are rude and impatient. My 2 row mates were both Asian, and because of being awakened and the ambient noise in the aircraft, they could not hear what the flight attendant was asking. So, with a tone of impatience and disrespect, the flight attendant virtually shouted at them their choices for the meal. Whatever happened to the "customer is always right" or the "customer is king"? My renewed resolution: I will no longer fly American-based (because Delta is even worse) airlines to and from Asia. If needed, I will pay the higher fees and fares to fly anyone of a number of Asian-based carriers. It is worth it for the 24 hours it takes me to cross the Pacific. I am sick and tired of the begrudged and entitled attitude of the archaic cabin crews of American-based airlines."
Pros: "Planes boarded on time"
Cons: "Long wait on runway before take off"
Pros: "Entertainment was bareable"
Cons: "Seats tight and barely reclined, not clean, neighbor got sick no one attended to him."
Cons: "They rebooked my flight to one with an overnight layover and informed me via email with no explanation. I rerebooked it myself to one which left the next morning and arrived sooner than their rebooking."
Pros: "The wifi service and very enthusiastic flight attendant!"
Cons: "The food was bad"
Pros: "The flight was on time, and the crew was friendly."
Cons: "The boarding was very disorganized and took a long time, and there was no silverware on board, which I needed."
Pros: "found out upon boarding that my $97 ticket was for a business class seat. Awesome"
Cons: "It took so long for me to leave this airport. I got there around 11:30pm and my flight wasn't till around 9:45am the next day and so when it came to that time they had cancelled my flight so I got another ticked for around 2pm and they didn't board that flight till around 4:30. My experience there was to much to handle. I was supposed to get to Colorado Friday night but didn't even get here time Saturday afternoon. Really upsetted me because I leave wednsday so I don't have enough time to be with my boyfriend. I honestly don't think I'll be flying American Airlines again"
Pros: "The flight attendants were nice and the plane was on time."
Cons: "I tried to switch my flight to an earlier time. First, they charge $75 (Southwest is always free). Second, the gate agent charged me and let me board, but her boss came on the plane and pulled me off because I wasn't Executive Platinum status! The plane took off with an empty seat and I had to wait two more hours for the first flight. When I complained to AA about it, they sent me a $50 voucher. I don't plan on giving any business to AA for the rest of my life."
Cons: "No refreshments"
