My layover in Vienna was supposed to be 35 minutes but because my flight was canceled I had to wait in the airport for an additional 8 hours.
Very limited legroom in a 10 hour flight.very old plane.
The flight was delayed for 30 minutes with no apparent reason. There is no entertainment at all, and no USB or electric outlets for charging your phone or tablet.
They had me unpack a handbag 2 lbs overweight into another handbag 8 lbs underweight for a Bible.
Despite the booked seats in front of the land we were moved to the back of the plane even first like 8 lines were totally without pasangers. When I tried to sit on empty seat flight attendant asked me to go to my dedicated seat in the fully crowded back of the plane. She was not able to explain why. Food was very poor on flight LAX - VIE.
We had a wonderful experience overall. The only issue was check-in our luggage at the Split Airport counter. It was very confusing because we needed to pay for baggage.
Austrian Airlines help and service was fine, but Kayak misled us into believing we had purchased a Business Class ticket. In fact, the tickets were only upgraded Coach Class tickets with luggage restrictions that belonged to the Coach Class. Very disappointed! Paid over $$$$ 9K for the two tickets. Very disappointing!
Quick and organized boarding process, friendly staff but not as many snacks and drinks as the previous flight overnight

Experience was great overall. However, the connection time between my flights (1hr 15 mins) was too short. We had to get through security check and US immigration in that time, and I made it to the gate just as they were announcing it was about to close. Flights with such a short connection time should maybe not be offered for purchase, or an advance alert would be helpful. Other than that the in-flight experience was excellent, especially the food. They specifically asked about my flight from bordeaux to Dublin, which was fine. A little lacking but for a 1 and a half hour flight - it was more than enough. I transferred at Dublin and went to Newark. And wow that flight was incredible.
The flight was okay however, for whatever reason they were not able to check me in for all 3 flights that I had booked through them creating a big problem when I landed in Toronto, in addition my luggage never made it to Toronto as well. So overall experience was not good
I was so grateful for the kindness of the crew. They made a long trip very pleasant. Food was delicious. Many movie options
My flight from Dublin was delayed two hours which ment that I missed my connecting flight to Phoenix. American Airlines provided a hotel room and rebooked my flight for 7:30 AM the next day. I didn't get to the room until 11 pm and I had to be at the airport the next day by 5 AM. The airlines did their best but the schedule was challenging for an 81 year old.
Fast and sensible boarding was absolutely amazing. But extortionate wifi and seats that barely moved, making me unable to sleep, didn't do a lot of favors.
Dinner was fabulous. Would have enjoyed a wine with it. None offered... for sale??? Breakfast was disappointing but adequate amount of food.
Excellent flight and crew. Boarding at Dublin Airport was a very difficult trying to find the right gate.

Dublin airport is big and US Customs and Immigration screening officers are is part of the process there. This eliminates screening upon arrival to US, however should be taken into consideration when playing your transfer. After all, pleasant experience enhanced by draft Guinness and Irish coffee at the buffet area near the gate. We loved boarding by the row, back of the airplane first.
