Very comfortable flight, and water and peanuts were provided. Crew very pleasant and keen to please.
We were all waiting at gate 39 for someone to take us out to the plane. Someone finally came out five minutes after the plane was scheduled to leave, only to tell us that we had to wait another 20 minutes or so to board! We ended up waiting almost an hour after the boarding time, most of which we had no idea what what going on. I called up customer assistance, and the assistant was not very helpful, taking a long time to come up with answers, and finalising her answer with LAX "doesn't have a shuttle bus", even though the sign for gate 39 said otherwise. No solution was provided, only that "your flight should be arriving soon". None of this information was provided on the flight status section of the Boutique Air website.
This airline is unprepared for any type of unexpected maintenance issues, any sort of problem that they have has to be contracted in, such a waist of time and a lot of hassle, if I would have known this, I would have never flown with Boutique Air, I had to sit through 5 delays, which resulted into my flight being canceled because the last delayed lead to a flat tire and in order to replace that tire, it needed to be driven down from Merced, Ca (Which is where I was trying to fly to, LAX to Merced), so unprofessional , and would never recommend anyone to fly with them! Because them, I had to purchase a same day flight with a diffrent airline company that was twice as expensive.
I wish I had a great experience and was writing a positive review like all the others, but i was left with this experience with the company.
Small plane. Fun, new experience! Smooth flight, cool pilots. Never ridden in an 8-seater before! They gave me peanuts when I asked, too.
There was an issue with boarding pass printing -- the printer had some problems for a bit, and our agent had some difficulty trouble-shooting the issue. I don't blame her at all -- she got it fixed, and we were only delayed 10 mins or so in the end. To make things perfect, that part of the process would have been full-proof.

NO TSA PRE? Cmon...that is a must these days. Flight left LAX almost 45mins late because we were waiting for one passenger to arrive. I'm all for waiting 10 mins or so for someone who has already checked in but to inconvenience the entire plane for one person that long was too much. Pilot who spoke to us upon leaving and when we landed in Merced was devoid of customer service skills and spoke in a way that was hard to understand.
