A lady from Lufthansa told me the flight had just closed and suggested that I call aeromexico’s phone number. I did that and the gentleman on the phone told me I should go to the check-in counters. I mentioned they were empty and he had no other suggestions. After an hour on the airport and on the phone with no progress I booked a trip with United and traveled home."

They did not have any other flights to Cancun that day so we were put on a flight into Mexico City then finally to Cancun. We understand things like this happen with travel, but the lack of compassion for the situation was shocking. They were not apologetic at all! The lack of communication in English added to the frustration. This was our first and definitely only time we travel with Aeromexico!"

And finally the plane delay and no information show the plane will delay for how long. The lighting system in the plane is very stupid or may be the crew don't know how to operate, every time they just turn on all the light no matter we are sleep or not! This is a red eye flight passenger should have a choice to not get disturb, when the light on I need to turn it off every time! And the next passenger don't really know how to turn the light off that always on during the flight! Super bad flying experience. Not comfortable at all. Can't sleep much!"

Cons: "On June 29 Aeromexico Flight 2683 arrived in Mexico City airspace and the Captain informed the passengers that the plane would have to refuel in Alcapulco due to inclement weather in Mexico City. The website https://www.timeanddate.com/weather/mexico/mexico-city/historic reports NO inclement weather on that date or at the time that AM 2683 was to land. I observed partly cloudy skies from my window seat as well. The ground crew in Alcapulco was unprepared for AM2683 and the fueling was delayed. After doing so, AM 2683 landed AFTER my connecting flight AM 684 was scheduled to depart at 1:05 AM on June 30. A female connection agent met me at the baggage claim and informed me that that AM 684 had not been held and had departed. The female agent was unhelpful, dismissive and rude. In fact, she had taken a personal cell phone call at the connections desk prior to assisting passengers of AM 2683 which lasted many minutes. She escorted us to the Aeromexico counter where I waited 30 or more minutes to speak to a representative. The representative at the Aeromexico counter informed me that there were NO flights to Quito until 1:05 AM on July 1. I asked if she could book me on another airline and she informed me that because the delay was weather related Aeromexico had no obligation to accomodate me. She booked me on AM684 for July 1. I asked where I was to wait for the next 24 hours and she said Aeromexico had no obligation to pay for lodgings. She gave me food vouchers for the airport. I immediately logged onto Travelocity.com and found a Copa Airlines flight to Quito leaving that afternoon which was in fact OPERATED BY AEROMEXICO! I booked that ticket myself and waited in the Mexico City Airport for 14 hours. What would have taken 10 hours took me 22."

We were told that when we arrived at the Austin airport, that a representative could refund us the money for the car rental before our flight. However, there was nobody at the Aeromexico counter at the airport. We called the "Customer Service" number and the lady could not help us at all in ANY way except for offering to sell us another ticket.... needless to say, worst customer service experience. When we arrived, our bags (which were carry-ons that were taken from us at the gate) didn't make it with us on the flight, so we had to wait another 2 hours at the airport for our bags. Needless to say, worst travel experience ever."

They are not really welcoming, the landing was a little bit rough.
Original flight got delayed 2 hours the only option for an earlier flight was to sit in back row window seat which didn’t recline and the fuselage curved over making it claustrophobic without a normal window. Worse flight in twenty years. American doesn’t give a rip about customer service. They just want to pack more seats in plane. They also didn’t have a full arrange of beverages and only had pretzels for a 3 hour flight.
I made a check in at the gate due to taking a connection flight bougth separatedly. The lady in the front desk was very rude, she asked me to fill in my info in the Verifly app, otherwise she couldnt check me in. I was in a rush dowloading the app, once I downloaded this one didnt work...it didnt let me select any option or to write any info. I asked her if she can help me and she told me she couldnt, it is Verifly or I would loose my flight At the end another lady from the airline told her this was nos necessary, and show her how to do it. But all the time they were very unkind, as if they were giving me the flight with no cost........

Cons: "I would avoid flying into Newark internationally if I have the option next time. Besides from the obvious that the airport is outdated, it is totally understaffed. There were about a staff of four directing international travelers at Passport Control and they were impolite which created a stressful and unwelcoming experience. The second issue I experienced was at baggage claim. Due to some issue I didn’t personally experienced, non-US passport holders experienced major delays entering the country. This resulted in hundreds of luggage that were left unclaimed from a previous flight still on the carousel. There was only two airport staff at this area so people from the BA flight had to take these the bags off the carousel inorder to make space for our flights bags to fit. It’s was totally chaotic and easily avoidable if there were more airport staff managing this area. This international airport is a national embarrassment, and if you’re a foreign traveler, I would highly discourage you from flying into Newark."

Cons: "Our British Airways flight was downgraded to a smaller airplane and we were not informed of this until we were in an hour in to waiting in a very long line to check in at the airport. We were unable to check in online the night before but not told why, and then we were unable to check in at the electronic kiosk at the airport but also not told way. When we got into the very confused and long line at the check-in desk 2.5 hours before our scheduled departure, we waited for almost an hour before anybody told us what was going on. They then told us that the flight has been downgraded to a smaller airplane, and that the agents were individually looking into rerouting passengers as they came up to the desk. Yeah sure does that the flight would not leave until everything was resolved and that people who had purchased their flights earlier would have priority. We then waited another 1.5 hours before it was our turn to speak to an agent at the desk. She told us that we would definitely not be getting on the flight because we had not checked in in time, which we had been unable to do. She then worked on rerouting us and offered us what sounded like an excellent flight option direct to Amsterdam on KLM the following day, however when we went to KLM to check in for the flight they said it was overbooked and we could go standby but we would not be guaranteed seats. We went back to her again and she eventually booked us on a Delta flight through Salt Lake City leaving the following day. We are currently in Salt Lake awaiting our flight to Amsterdam. This gets us to Amsterdam 12 hours after planned, Shortening our vacation with friends and causing us to miss events that have been planned. We are very upset that there was no information provided to us earlier and that British Airways did not, as is customary, first seek volunteers to take later flights, before bumping people off due to a lack of seats on their available plane. Instead they gave priority to people that had paid more money to check in with priority. We booked our flights 3 1/2 months ahead of time and feel that we were grossly AND unnecessarily put out by the actions and lack of communication throughout the process with British Airways."

My flight was supposed to be started at 7 am but that was keep delaying first due to foggy at arriving airport, then operational issues, then crew difficulties. They postponed to 1pm. I was supposed to land at final destination at 1pm but due to delays and missing connection flights I landed at 11:30PM. That to I was sitting way back separated from my wife and next to restrooms (with bad smell), where I booked for business class. I reserved expensive resort for a night at final destination but that ended up me sleeping for that night. Next day I had to work and my entertainment was lost. My whole day was ruined, and disturbed. Lost lots of comfort and money.

Cons: "Baggage policy on my fare rate. Ended up spending about $300 to check a carryon. (proper size and weight) I knew it was not included in the fare, but assumed that I could check it or carryon for a *reasonable* fee. Checkin personnel not sympathetic despite travel being forced by coronavirus eviction. Great fare turned into an expensive full fare."

At that point we had to stand for 1.5 hours in line in customer service with no information as to why this had happened. By the time we were with customer service it was too late to go to a hotel to sleep, so we had to sleep in the floor of the airport. The flight boarded to leave by 8 AM but we were again delayed in the runway 2 more hours. The last explanation the gave us was that the copilot never showed up. I do not recommend flying with United Airlines."

For a red eye it is difficult to notify family if you don't get on the flight because most likely they will be getting up early to pick you up at the airport. Luckily I got on the flight but the stress of waiting was tough. I was treated just as if I was on standby yet I purchased my flight ahead of time."

Boarding announcement needs improvement. Didn't hear the zones being called and all of a sudden we hear that we need to on the plane!! Crazy!! Also you had to condense your personal and carry on! We were fine but what about the other passengers?
They lost my bag and do not care. They have not refunded my money for the baggage. The staff at checking was extremely rude and threw my luggage around unlike any other quality airline. Poor customer service

The airport over night with a 3 month old. It was awful. Then my next flight, a sink broke and was spewing water all down the aisle so we had to delay the flight and we're deplaned. Not impressed and won't fly with them again. After all said and done, I don't think it saved me any money."

Cons: "My experience with Spirit airlines was one for the books (in a very bad way). First off, my flight to the airport where my flight with Spirit was, arrived an hour and twenty minutes before my next flight left. When I got in line to check in, I realized that I was supposed to check in at the kiosk first, before getting in line. Once I got to the kiosk, however, it wouldn't let me check in because it was 12 minutes after the "45 minutes prior to flight" deadline. After this, I went to the front desk where the woman told me I would not be able to board the flight because I was too late for check-in (which is rediculous; I was 12 minutes late for being 45 minutes early, and I was only late because I didn't know I was supposed to check in at the kiosk first. poor communication!). At this point, she sent me over to another counter to get it sorted out. At this counter, the gentlemen told me the next flight to Lima would leave the next day at the same time. He booked me a flight, but then let me know that I would have to purchase another flight out of Peru to show that I wasn't staying. This is preposterous. I've never had to do that before with any other airline. On top of this, he also let me know that my wife and I would only be able to take one bag each instead of the three we had. This was just the cherry on top of an already awful situation. So we would either have to leave a bag there (out of the question) or buy another $600 ticket just to set our bag in a chair next to us (yeah right!). I was very disappointed. You'd think that that's something the airline would tell us ahead of time since it's only on flights to Lima that they do this. Terrible communication. In the end, we were forced to book another flight with a different airline. Luckily, they did refund us for the $500 we spent on that flight. However, we spent another $500 each to book new flights. That's $500 we had to spend because of Spirit being a lousy airline that communicates very poorly and causes it's guests to suffer for it. My wife and I just got married a couple weeks ago. Spending an unnecessary $500 wasn't exactly in our budget as newlyweds. Not only did we have to spend this extra chunk of cash, but we also had to spend an extra night sleeping on the floor at the airport. Overall, it was a downright nasty experience. Aside from just being an awful experience, this is just a horrible way to treat people. We suffered as a direct result of Spirit's poor communication with it's customers. This didn't need to happen. It shouldn't have happened. It could have easily been avoided. We suffered a lot at the hands of Spirit airlines. I have every right to sue them for the damage they caused us (both financially and emotionally). Spirit caused us a great deal of harm and stress, and we deserve to be compensated for it. If we don't see some kind of gesture of goodwill from this Airline, they will not only lose one customer for life, but my friends."

We had to run from the security line to the kiosk and then. To the agent at the Spirit counter to issue us a boarding pass. The bar code from my pass on my phone didn't work at the security line but for one of my friend's it did after the 2nd try. The process was a mess."

Spirit, like many airlines I've been on recently need to undergo a course in better communication, especially in an atmosphere where tensions easily build and the expectations of a seamless flight are seldomly lived up to."
