Cons: "AC was way too cold"

Cons: "The LegRoom and Width. Very uncomfortable. The Delay, on my return, was not the best of Communication."

Cons: "Inflexible employee, bad website, worse app. NO ROOM for mid seat traveler. Had to keep arms crossed the whole trip, Dangerous for somebody like me with respiratory illness and sleep apnea"

Pros: "Food, staff and entertainment was good. However, the touch screen on one of our systems did not work, and had to use the remote control."
Cons: "Not enough bathrooms, and the one on our side got dirty fast. Also, give yourself lots of EXTRA time to get through the airport in Madrid. It takes forever to get out to the gate, and you have to go through Security, Immigration and sometimes a second more intense security (which we did). If you need to get your VAT refund on purchases, add at least ONE hour. 30 minutes to get the approval stamp in one line, and 30 minutes in another line to get your refund."

Pros: "I was upgraded to business class because I had to fly home early after I suffered a crushed wrist and broken arm while in Spain. I could not have made it through the flight without the extra room and pillows and my daughter by my side."
Cons: "The stewards and Stewardesses were very unfriendly. I was in so much pain and not one person asked if there was anything they could do to make the flight more comfortable. Just the kindness of offering would’ve been so nice. One girl just threw a water bottle in my lap!"

Pros: "Our MAD-JFK flight was delayed and we weren’t going to make our connection, so American Airlines automatically rerouted us through Philapdelphia, and got us to Indy just two hours and thirty minutes later than our original arrival time. I was very pleased wiht this service"

Pros: "Great flight crossing the Atlantic with good food and beverage services along with a wide selection of inflight entertainment and a charging port."

Cons: "I was late for my flight connection, the airline in Spain was unable to robook me because I booked with kayak and I ended up loosing the ticket and had to pay 1,500 US dollars to get the rest of the way home. I could not get a hold of kayak for help by any means"

Pros: "After we were boarded and ready to take off, the power on the place went off. They kept us there without any AC or even air draft for about an hour. It was hot and stuffy. They took forever to let us know what was going on. Everything else went well. I just wished they had kept us appraised on a more timely manner and had done something to control the temperature of the plane."

Pros: "Entertainment was good. Food was pretty decent considering it was gluten free. Wish there were more snacks on command kind of thing. I got really hungry. The guy working at the madrid ticketing counter that helped me check in my bags. Super cool dude. Very easy to talk to. Spoke perfect English and spanish because he was raised in usa but his mom is from spain. He was very detailed in I was going to have to navigate both madrid and dallas airports."
Cons: "The VERY first American Airline lady I met at Madrid airport who was like the first greeter. I was looking at all the different posted signs to see where to go and she says “hola” and i say “hola” back. She asked me which class i was in i said whichever the normal one is. All while im inching my way towards where i seem to already to know where to go. The lady kind of snaps at me and says “stop excuse me im talking to you.” I wasnt really walking away from this lady, i was inching towards what seemed to be i needed to go(and in fact was where i needed to go). I am fully capable of listening and moving at the same time. I dont need to be scolded like 5 year old child because she thinks I wasn’t listening to her. I was listening and progressing towards the place i need to be at the same time and also using two different languages in my head in order to talk to her. So that is just what i would call mulitasking for a person and not grounds for someone to use a parenting tactic on another adult at 730am."

Pros: "Friendly crew, flight not full so able to switch seat to bulk head seat for more leg room."

Cons: "The staff member at the gate counter in Philly was very short and rude. She asked for people volunteer to check their carry-on bags and when I took mine up she was very curt. She asked me for my seat number (I didn't hear her) and her tone got worse. A woman who did not speak English need assistance and was turned away by this person with s shrug. The Latina finally stood in the middle of the gate area asking for help from anyone who could speak English. I just spent 18 days I Madrid and never once was rejected when I asked for assistance. I was not happy with your employee and I was ashamed to hear an American treat someone that way. In the employee's defense, she was alone at the dest up until boarding time and was juggling a lot of balls without any other support. Not a good experience."

Cons: "More than a 2 hour delay in Madrid for American Airlines to replace the seat harness on the Co-pilot's chair. This seems like an evolution that should never delay a flight if the proper preventive maintenance had been performed. Very little info was given and there did not seem to be any concern by the pilot or flight attendants once the flight was boarded due to the delay. I was very relieved, however, when we arrived at JFK and AA had a point of contact helping folks with close flights. We originally had 3.5 hours to make our connection to BWI, but due to the delay, had less than an hour to go thru Passport control, rescreening and entry to the terminal, but we made it. Thank you for the personal representative. I did not get her name, but she was very, very helpful."

Also we think 9 hours of darkness contributed to our difficulty in adjusting to time zone in states. My entertainment panel was very difficult to use and frustrating. It didn't respond to light touch, heavy touch, etc."

Cons: "One FA seemed visibly annoyed with me; I'm honestly not sure what I did. I am a FA for another airline; didn't identify myself as such but always make sure to not be "that passenger." During two beverage services she did not ask me if I wanted anything but simply looked at me with disdain and sighed loudly. She wasn't rude; just not friendly and I never once saw her smile. She seemed tired and annoyed. I understand that feeling. I've been a FA for 16 years, still junior at my company, but it reminded me how important body language and facial expressions are when we work hospitality and customer service in the public eye. I hope everything is ok with her and I'm sorry if I did something that irritated her. I didn't get her name."

Cons: "The Live TV entertainment froze so many times when trying to watch either CNN or CNBC. Finally gave up on it. The Touch Screen responsiveness could be much better. However; once a movie was selected, watching it was an excellent experience. The Leg room was not the best either, but I blame myself on this in that I almost waited till the last minute to buy my self a ticket."
