Cons: "DTW to FLL, plane was delayed coming from BOS to DTW 5 hours for BOS weather. The plane arrived & they announced they would turn it around ASAP. They started the boarding process & then stopped it stating that a crew member had timed out. Delayed hour to FIND one. Shortly after delayed overnight."

Pros: "With all the competition among airlines and the cutbacks we suffer as customers Delta manages to make you feel like you matter still. Timely boarding, actual help with finding seats making boarding efficient (not just hurrying you along), updates from the cockpit that you could hear and understand, multiple choices in snacks-one even a healthy option, staff that was friendly and interested in making it a good experience not one that seemed bothered they had to work."

Cons: "My flight was delayed, which would have caused me to miss my connecting flight. The customer service person was not at all helpful, and told me there were no other flights available on any airline until the next day. However, I was able to go online and book another flight immediately...which means that she was either being disingenuous or actively undermining efforts to get me home in a timely fashion. Very disappointing and as a SkyMiles member would have thought there would be some level of common courtesy dealing with a non-weather related delay that drastically impacted my travel plans."

Pros: "Never got ticket or email or booking number. Called my bank they said charge still pending. I asked if they could cancel. Bank said yes. Told them to cancel and rebooked throught Delta website. Got eticet. But charge was not cancelled. At airport I had 2 tickets. Working with bank. Today gate agent gave me 1st ticket number. Used Kayak and delt never had this issue. Email not changed or misspelled."

Cons: "This is the second flight in a row in which Delta has either cancelled or rescheduled my flight at the last minute. Last time I was stranded in the Atlanta airport overnight waiting literally all night for them to return my luggage (which never came, and then was late even to my final destination). I will not be using Delta in the future."

Cons: "My registered luggage was sent LAX->MDE and i had a short change in MEX. Running out of the LAX->MEX plane, the crew the said: "don't forget to pick up your luggage".. and then all went pairshaped. One member of MEX staff claimed the baggage is going directly to destination, another said that it won't and i need to pick it up myself and do god knows what with it. LAX->MEX flight delayed by 30mins, 1hr change time. Everybody relaxed just me loosing all my boozy contraband as i had no choice but to put my registered luggage thru security."

Cons: "Not my typical Delta experience: -Boarding for special needs was a joke. A literal ‘run-on-sentence’. No more did I get up and they went to the next group. I was almost knocked over in the rush. -The onboard staff was nice enough. However, between the two of them, one of them had a thick accent. Maybe that one shouldn’t be the one making all on board announcements… and please fix the horrendous crackles too!!! -It seemed our pilot was in training… during our short flight a series of right and left turns were made, no effort to avoid turbulence, and the landing was surprisingly hard. It felt as if my spine took a quick jab to my brain as a result! What’s up?"

Pros: "Flight was delayed by 2+ hours, Delta (running the flight for westjet) sent 1 email about the flight being delayed to 4:45 which was inconsistent with the gate signage and agent who said 3:45, flight ended up leaving at 5:45PM. No reasons were provided beyond the incoming flight from LGA hadn't come in. Why hadn't it come in? When could we expect to leave YUL? No answers."

Cons: "Every flight was 100% full. Inadequate overhead space. I felt I was being herded like cattle. It is NOT a pleasurable experience flying with Delta."

Cons: "The poorly staffed bag check at BTV was maddening. We waited in line for what felt like 15 or more minutes. Boarding was also badly managed and took 20 minutes or so. There was no jetway so passengers had to walk a distance to the plane. The attendants all seemed to be having a bad morning. Not terribly friendly."

Cons: "Two out of three flights were delayed, customers service of the flight operated by Delta airlines is a nightmare and on top of it 2hours and 40min delayed. No drinks, no snacks, nothing."

Cons: "Delays and ground chaos nearly caused us to miss our international connection. Gate staff unable to provide assistance with booking on connecting partner airline. Gate staff unaware of new terminal 3 to TBIT airside shuttle nearly directed us to leave domestic and requeue for international security. Will like skip Delta connectors to long haul international flights and just fly direct from SFO."

Pros: "Everything was smooth from start to finish, and the flight landed 10 min. early! Can't ask for more!"

Cons: "Ended up stuck at Laguardia for 9 hours, tried to get onto earlier flight and wasn't able to because as I arrived as the jet bridge door was closing. The delta crew was pleasant, but I sat at the terminal watching to see how quickly that plane would back out to depart.... it sat there for another 45 mins, while I sat there wishing I was on it. My later/original flight ended up being delayed multiple times (not due to weather) and given no explanation for why."
