Cons: "In flight entertainment was broken"

Cons: "No gate when we landed."

Pros: "The flight crew and the captain were terrific."
Cons: "Gate agents were rude. Everybody was forced to check-in their carry on luggage due to the small plane. This information should have been shared before boarding. We were informed as we were boarding and had to scramble to remove the laptop from our carry-on and help up passengers behind us from boarding. A totally unnecessary stressful situation created by the gate agents for failing to share information. Once we got onboard we saw carry-ons larger then what we were forced to check-in. Evidently, enforcement of standards is at the gate agents' discretion."

Pros: "good luggage space overhead - accommodate wheelie vertically like books. each seat had indiv tv screen, recent movies, usb charger, 3 prong charger."

Cons: "The American Airlines staff seemed like they were in a bad mood, not very friendly. Nothing outrageous though."

Pros: "Average with nothing exceptional. My wife requires a wheelchair and that gets you through the process from chair side to boarding with no lines to wait in. But that’s normal for any airline and it’s usually the airport service."

Cons: "Chicago to Venice flight was amazing. We were in premium economy, although the seats were larger it was hard to sleep in them, we all felt it needed some back support in order to sleep better. Crew was fantastic, would fly AA again internationally"

Cons: "Economy cabin is not meant for anyone over 6' tall. Worst seats I have experienced on any airline. My knees were jammed against the seat on front of me the entire flight. The seats lacked cushion. My legs became numb 20 minutes into the flight. The most uncomfortable flight I have ever experienced."

Cons: "No power outlets at the seats? How old is this plane? As a Gold customer, I should I have had ever opportunity to try to fit my bag in an overhead before having it checked, not taken away from me. How come we haven’t used tech to know how much room is left?"

Pros: "Those little cookies were good and that's about it. The second half of this trip was a disaster and the crew, agents, and American Airlines should be ashamed at how they treat people just trying to go about their normal business lives. Makes me wish SouthWest had more flights."
Cons: "The agents at the connecting flight were absolutely the worst ever. Management would not even acknowledge who he was or me and didn't care to help in any way. If they would have pulled they faces out of their personal cell phones they might have been able to be helpful. Worst. Attitudes. Ever."

Cons: "No individual screens on back of seat rests. Old tube televisions in the ceiling, in the aisle walkway that don’t retract. No WiFi. Which means not even movies on your own device. And no power - neither usb nor 3 prong"

Cons: "I hated that there were sudden updates of delays just moments before we were supposed to board, then delayed for a day, then cancelled. I was fortunate to be re-routed to San Francisco (I am on the way) now, through United airlines. All in all, it was a stressful inconvenience."

Pros: "I appreciated that they were interested in the general welfare of the whole craft in the midst of storms."
Cons: "The long delays, the cancellation near midnight, the long lines to what I thought was going to be some type of reimbursement for all the inconvenience at now having to find lodging for the evening, spend an entire day back at the airport, and transport myself from the NEW airport they made available for me from the original airport I had chosen. Absolutely NO compensation or reimbursement due to "weather." While I understand they can't control the weather, this is literally one of the greatest elements in their company. They should have provisions FOR it. Running out of airlines I could trust and rely on, and thought American would deliver. But No, not even this one. Extremely disappointed and staying away from AA."

Cons: "the tremendous pressure from the staff, at the American Airlines. Never before experience such a low and virtually feel like an inmate, Just because the person in doing so, was profiling and that is NO GOOD , also the airport is filthy and dirty , Nobody Cares...I will not come again as a tourist to that country.. American Airlines should train the staff to be more courteous and not to ask that many questions ..it feels like you where in Siberia.."

Departure and arrival were as stated, maybe a few minutes over, but it is not like JAL can control the weather. Great experience overall!"

Cons: "I can't rate it because they canceled my entire itinerary without so much as an email. I did not take my flight to Wilmington via my original flight. I had to book another flight because the change fees were too expensive. I did not know that my return flight to Denver had been canceled until I was checking in a few hours before my flight. I was told my ticket had no value. Awesome! It really stings that I then had to book a new return flight, and because I am a teacher who makes about $23,000 a year, I had to book the cheapest flight, which was with American. I do not plan on giving them any of my hard-earned money in the future if I can help it."

Cons: "my first flight was delayed by 4 hours so I automatically missed my connection. i called american to reschedule my flight for the next day in order to spend the night at my house and not have ro ask for hotel, they said no problem. when I go to she counter to explain they said that they would put me on a later flight and that they where sure I would make it. when I arrived miami I had missed my connection and they did NOT cover the hotel expenses they rebooked me for the next day at 5pm. no food no hotel no nothing. the next day I arrived at the airport counter the people at the american airline's counter did not want to let me thorugh because I had a one way ticket... after explaining for over 25 minutes they let me go.... the miami gloght to Bermuda then was also delayed for a total of 2 hours and they changed gates 8 times from one end to thw other and so on.... the worst service ever........"

Cons: "I tried to switch my flight to an earlier time. First, they charge $75 (Southwest is always free). Second, the gate agent charged me and let me board, but her boss came on the plane and pulled me off because I wasn't Executive Platinum status! The plane took off with an empty seat and I had to wait two more hours for the first flight. When I complained to AA about it, they sent me a $50 voucher. I don't plan on giving any business to AA for the rest of my life."
