One front desk attendant tried to be helpful

I was unable to board because my boarding pass wasn’t showing up while checking in online beforehand. Trying to explain this was useless. And I was told it was too late. Although in reality there was plenty of time. I spent the rest of my time talking to a different person whos solution was for me to take a bus to NYC from Boston and catch a flight 8 hours later; at least she tried. If they had just printed a boarding pass initially, I would have already been through security with time to spare. I just flew with United instead. I will never fly with Spirit again if I can avoid it. It’s the absolute worst. Satan must be on their board of directors.

For instance we were on the tarmac for a while to get to the gate upon landing and he never announced the amount of time it would take...to the point where passengers verbally questioned the attendants, "How long does this plane take to get to the gate?"

Great service and smooth flight. On time, all good things.

An individual who was very overweight sat next to me and took up half of my seat as well. I understand we all deserv to ride comfortably and my intent is not to shame them. That said, if someone can’t put the armrest down I think the airline should require them to purchase both seats as it’s very uncomfortable to be in the position of having no seat for the entire ride. I’m an average sized person so it was a challenge but even tiny people deserve the full seat they purchased. There really should be a rule or something.

There HAS to be a different snack choice than just salted pretzels, right? Not everyone is a fan of those. And although it may have been a last-minute issue, learning that there was no WiFi as we ascended 10,000’ into the air was quite disappointing. No techie around to troubleshoot that while we were boarding? Otherwise, the flight was uneventful and the crew was pleasant enough.

The crew from the ticket agents all the way up were great. The app for iPhone is great.

I paid for 30 minutes of WiFi to download the United app on my iPad. I wanted to watch the movies/tv shows that were available to passengers. The WiFi was spotty and slow so I wasn’t able to load the app. Needless to say I was disappointed. I also was disappointed with the seating. I am an average size person and I felt very cramped in my seat. My shoulders and neck are killing me after a 2 hour flight. I know that I chose the economy seating but I don’t remember the seats being quite so narrow or the leg room being non existent.

Seat 20f It was very uncomfortable and freezing My legs were sore after the journey. Besides until 30 seconds before actual boarding time the members didn't inform about the delay. Everybody had formed lines and we see people getting out only then.

After everyone boarded they said they had a 2 hour delay and if you got off the plane your flight would be cancelled. After an hour of sitting on the plane they got everyone off so a different plane could board and take off and then everyone got back on the plane and continued to wait. We left 2.5 hours late and when we arrived at the destination the plane couldn't contact the tower?!?! So we waited another 30 mins...ridiculous, rude, and rather fly southwest

The flight attendants were very kind and hoped to make up for the pilot’s negligence.

Boarding was weird with a lack of overhead bins and then the pilot was inconsistent with updates to safety issues. We were delayed by an hour and twenty mins and then had to wait on the tarmac for another plane to leave the gate. Feels like I wasted two hours in limbo.

Everything ran smoothly on this flight. No delays before, pleasant staff, great entertainment selection, okay food options, working equipment (e.g., tv in the headrest worked, seatbelts worked, lavatories were operational, etc.). This flight met all my expectations

The only hiccup was the wait time on the runway before take off. Not sure if that was the airport’s fault or the airline’s fault. We must have waited 45 minutes.

Crew was great.

We had a mechanical issue which delayed the flight by 30-45 minutes. That wasn't so bad but the whole strategy that Spirit employs is sketchy. We booked our flight through Kayak at a set price and then when we checked in with Spirit online there were no seats available that we didn't have to pay an upgrade fee. To me that is fals marketing or even bait and switch. Won't be flying with them again.

Very cramped seating. Was OK for short flight, but would be very uncomfortable for longer flights. $3.00 for a drink of water!

My flight was delayed twice to Boston and I had an appointment to keep. I called the Spirit customer service line repeatedly to ask about travel options and discuss my dilemma. Unfortunately, it seems that phone line is entirely automated. I could not find a human to answer my questions. I finally booked a flight with another airline that was set to arrive in Boston prior to my Spirit flight. I planned to take my return flight home to Chicago, but was informed through email that I had been removed from the flight. I was very upset to learn that my round trip was cancelled by Spirit since I did not take the departure leg of the trip due to all the delays and my time constraints. If I was able to speak to a customer service representative when I repeatedly called for answers, I may have learned of this policy. I was told I could repurchase my flight home for $150, which was too much for me to spend. I am very disappointed that Spirit's budget nature even extends to poor customer service and lack of real humans to provide information during stressful travel situations. Since Spirit has done nothing to make me want to use this airline again, I will be seeking other carriers for my future travel needs.

Loved all the available dedicated JetBlue staff available to answer questions. Have not flown JetBlue often but heard many great things.

Weather delay which is out of JetBlue’s control but once we landed (6 hours later) we sat on the runway for an additional hour because our gate had a disable airplane occupying it. I think JetBlue could have done a better job ensuring a back up gate was available or giving their passenger updates on the situation.

I never got the opportunity to fly because I was stuck in unusual traffic in a tunnel for over an hour just minutes from the Boston airport. I was later told there was a fire. I called the 1-800-JETBLUE number and I explained that the situation. The agent said that there would be a $75 change fee and at 4:47 pm there were no more flights out that night and that I would also be charged the fare differential the following day. I quickly went on line and found a deep discounted fare on United for $56! When I got to the airport there were several other people with the same situation. Not a enough agents on staff and no concern that I might miss my new flight on United. Thank Gid I acted fast and got another flight that evening or I would have needed to spend the night in the airport like a woman and her mother traveling to San Jose! Need more professionalism !

There was a delay from Charlotte to Dallas but not too much so it was fine. Once we arrived in Dallas, however, it took an absorbent amount of time for the crew to open the door. On top of that, the skyline in Dallas was broken down and it caused me to miss my flight completely. I’m a student so I don’t have much money so I had to “sleep” in the airport because I couldn’t get a hotel voucher due to the fact that I missed my flight due to the airport and not the airline itself. My next flight is tomorrow morning but now takes away time from an incredibly busy and tight schedule that I was on. Not happy at all with the Dallas airport.

A cheap option to upgrade to 1st was offered that ended up being a net 0 cost upgrade for me so I took it. Comfortable on an old (but oh so nice) aircraft.

Arrived 30 minutes early to the airport but then had to sit at a remote pad so that we ended up being 5 minutes late to the gate. A short transfer was made even more difficult, and a massive waste if time and fuel sitting and waiting. Figure out your gates early and better, and move around if needed. At the very least, bring up some stairs and buses to get passengers to the terminal and then tow the aircraft in when you have a gate available.

Everything ran smoothly on this flight. No delays before, pleasant staff, great entertainment selection, okay food options, working equipment (e.g., tv in the headrest worked, seatbelts worked, lavatories were operational, etc.). This flight met all my expectations

The only hiccup was the wait time on the runway before take off. Not sure if that was the airport’s fault or the airline’s fault. We must have waited 45 minutes.

Six hours late, then there wasn’t enough fuel and had to wait for paperwork multiple times. Hands down the worst experience I have ever had. I will not be flying JetBlue again.

A cheap option to upgrade to 1st was offered that ended up being a net 0 cost upgrade for me so I took it. Comfortable on an old (but oh so nice) aircraft.

Arrived 30 minutes early to the airport but then had to sit at a remote pad so that we ended up being 5 minutes late to the gate. A short transfer was made even more difficult, and a massive waste if time and fuel sitting and waiting. Figure out your gates early and better, and move around if needed. At the very least, bring up some stairs and buses to get passengers to the terminal and then tow the aircraft in when you have a gate available.

Poor entertainment - food not very good. Didn’t look as though there was concern regarding recycling plastics and metal. We should all be aware of the importance, especially in the airline industry who handle so much recyclable materials.

There was a delay from Charlotte to Dallas but not too much so it was fine. Once we arrived in Dallas, however, it took an absorbent amount of time for the crew to open the door. On top of that, the skyline in Dallas was broken down and it caused me to miss my flight completely. I’m a student so I don’t have much money so I had to “sleep” in the airport because I couldn’t get a hotel voucher due to the fact that I missed my flight due to the airport and not the airline itself. My next flight is tomorrow morning but now takes away time from an incredibly busy and tight schedule that I was on. Not happy at all with the Dallas airport.

Boarding was weird with a lack of overhead bins and then the pilot was inconsistent with updates to safety issues. We were delayed by an hour and twenty mins and then had to wait on the tarmac for another plane to leave the gate. Feels like I wasted two hours in limbo.
