Overall the experience was good. Check in at the bag drop was challenging as the system was having issues and there was only one attendant helping the passengers. My personal experience was okay as it was straight forward but there were many who were having issues. The flight was good. I did not use the in flight entertainment very much as I had brought my own but it seemed to work well.
A smooth flight; a little cold on the ground and then suddenly heated when in the air; legroom on the 737-800 worse than on the outgoing flight, on 737-900. Much prefer flying Alaska to the northwest than flying American anywhere!
Super impressed by staff courtesy, and assistance, Flight was one of the best I've had despite turbulence... Will definitely be flying Alaskan air as my preferred choice
Even though I booked two tickets at the same time, we were unable to sit together. No one cared. I was disappointed due to the amount of money the flights had been that there was no way to get it changed.
Loved this first class flight! Awesome food, snacks and drinks. Comfortable seat with foot rest. Good movie. Very friendly crew! Only thing I would suggest is having a screen on seat back in front of me so I didn’t have to watch the movie on my phone.

Website could be better with faster access to specific flight information and boarding pass once reservation is made. Not a fan of no seat selection on line. I had to consult gate agent each time to change seats on flights with lots of open seats. This cannot possibly be cost effective for airline. On plus side, Alaska seat legroom seemed larger than American. ns
I booked a round trip. I ordered a lunch going and a lunch for the return but got both lunches going. Could have been my error. Both lunches were good.
More leg room would be nice. Especially for older people

The international portion was good. Food and beverage options were good. The sustainable wooden eatery was less than desirable. Your Star Alliance partner ANA provided real silverware. I'm 6'3" & 198 lbs and felt cramped in the exit row. How can that be? Flight attendant all had a pleasant disposition which is always good.
Boarded from a very small gate at LAX. Staff at gate had us line up, then waited 25 minutes to board without a word of explanation. Plane arrived on time then waited 20 minutes for a plane to vacate our gate. Majority of bags arrived after 15 minutes but it took an hour for a small number of remaining bags to be off-loaded despite my “priority” bag tag.
This planes staff was top tier. Everything went great and had a great flight home.
Armrest controller on my seat 35D and nextbooennseat 35E did not work right. Hard to press buttons to recognize and 35D had constantnpressure either upmost down somit was nearly impossible to make selections. .
Fantastic. Smooth boarding with an infant. Never experienced it with any other carriers.
Boarding was unorganized. They expected passengers to ask people to move their assigned seat they paid for in order to sit together. The seats even in comfort are smaller than other airlines and the flight attendants appeared not to be well prepared
Apparently the WiFi you buy on on one flight doesn't carry on with connecting flights.
This was for the LOS to FRA leg of the flight Checking in and boarding was not good The staff at the gate were not helpful and targeted the customer and delayed the customers boarding unnecessarily The flight was delayed for about two hours and later for a change of boarding gate The waiting area was overcrowded with no seats available for passengers and lots were left standing for a long period of time
Sitting in row 31, you could smell the bathroom during the entire flight. It was pretty disgusting.
The flight was ok, i understand Houston-Dallas is a short distance. The plane is really small: no TV, no snacks, but other than that, all was good. We had a bid delay but luckily it did not affect my connection
My flight was delayed by 8 hours I arrived at airport 4hrs earlier but to see if they can reroute me to get my connecting flt to Hong Kong. They auto rebooked my flt. With no chance. Which I missed this entire reservation through kayak. My next flt they got me on was at 6 am. Misses an entire day of my trip abroad all my accommodations seat assignments were missed and missed adding my TSA precheck to my ticket as well as my vegan meal request so I didnt have meals on any of the flight....so not a comfortable experience. Please help me with accommodations upon my return.
Not good. Flight crew, was not friendly and just shoved stuff at us. Not the way I like to travel.
They kept us on the tarmac for 6 hours after already delaying our flight by 2 hours. No one had any answers. They sent our gate checked stroller to baggage claim instead of giving it back at the gate.
The WiFi didn’t work entire flight, couldn’t watch a movie. The recline button didn’t work
Not one thing to like. Three flights all with “mechanical” delays. Never got to where I was going and spent additional $500 for a hotel room. American Airlines is the worst in the industry!
Well, true to American Airlines, both of my flights were delayed. But it’s a good thing that American is so consistently incompetent because if the first flight was delayed in the second flight was on time then I might’ve had a problem..
Not great. I understand delays happen due to weather and crew issues, but it was unacceptable that no agents were available at the counters inside the airport for customer service or help getting on a standby list. The app was not helpful either. I stood in line for an hour waiting for someone to show up at the gate to help me get on a standby flight. Customer care does not seem to be a priority.
The screens were inoperable for movies and such, but everything else was just fine
Plane, flight, crew, captain were all great. The first flight had a Chipotle box lunch...delicious. this return flight not as tasty, but filling.
